The inside is what you would expect from your typical bar, dark moody atmosphere with several tv screens, billiard games, etc. We tried an order of mozzarella sticks, the fried catfish snack which came with a side of fries and Texas toast, added a side of loaded grits, and finally one of their most popular dishes, the chicken & shrimp gumbo. Everything tasted very good. The grits had strips of crisped collard greens which I thought were very unique and had a nice taste. Their chicken & shrimp gumbo I also enjoyed, but it was different than the traditional style. A little too heavy on the chicken and lighter on the roux, which was very thick, but I still loved the meal and would definitely return to try more!

The wait staff seem to also be bartenders, so they generally are busting their butts keeping the bar customers and food customers helped. Service isn't necessarily prompt or attentive but they are all really friendly and helpful. Given these conditions, the service is good. The food is decent. I don't remember what I ordered on a previous visit, but I regretted not getting something cajun, as I am a huge fan and it is a lot of the menu. This time I did get the chicken and shrimp gumbo and it was OK, but kind of bland. The portions are reasonable. Next time I would probably get a burger or something more grill specific and probably have a better meal.

I was disappointed that there were no dishes with mole. My daughter got a chicken bowl which she loved, I got a a combination dish-a chicken burrito and a beef enchilada, rice and black beans. It was delicious. Also filling. I took home the burrito and half the rice and beans. The chips and salsa that are served immediately after you sit down were above average, especially the salsa. Coleslaw and greeen dip (not avocado) were sooo tasty and unexpected. My daughter also got Horchata -her fav. Service was attentive. Place was clean, even the bathroom. Parking front and back-but we parked in front in disabled spot since I have mobility problems and there wasn't a ramp which was a problem-before leaving we checked in back but a car parked blocking the ramp. We will be back. My daughter usually gets takeout from here.

Speaking of happy hour, get the Jumbo Margarita. It's discounted to the price of a Regular size, and trust me, you'll appreciate those extra ounces of goodness. Good chips and salsa started the festivities. My Gordo Burrito filled with chorizo , in all of its cheesy goodness, was everything that I hoped for. And then I capped the night with Tres Leches Cake that was wet enough without being a mushy mess. La Loma gave us every reason in the world to come back.

He's the one who suggested Wario's Way for the steak sandwich last time. The restaurant was pretty full and the patio had many happy patrons! This sandwich is a foot long and nearly 4" wide! The first thing I smell when I open up the halves is the pickle of homemade giardinera, solid amount of lunch meat and nice crisp from the shreduce (iceberg lettuce) and the relish. Be ready to unhinge your jaw to eat this sandwich! This is not something you can eat and drive at the same time, it's messy, but that's what makes it delicious. Thank you Wario's for another great food experience!

A staff member helped me right away. I ordered the steak sandwich wario's way and the house spuds. It's a pretty hefty sandwich! My only issue was the cheese whiz. This is the typical way to eat Philly cheesesteaks, but I didn't love the flavor. Not a bad thing! Really just a preference thing! I've had cheesesteaks with provolone which is more of the flavor profile I'm looking for. The house spuds were phenomenal! Well seasoned, crunchy and it came with a nice savory mustard-like sauce. Seems like some of the other sandwiches are popular too. I would be interested in trying those out next time. They were featured in diners, drive ins, and dives. So I'm happy we have an excellent sandwich shop like this in town!

It's buffet style, so you can have as little or as much as you want of anything. Unlimited fruit tea and milk tea too! Their skewers are too seasoned for me, but you can grab those to the right of the hotpot area and leave them at the end of your table for a server to take and a robot to return, cooked. There's also fruit and dessert in that area. My personal recs are shrimp paste, quail eggs, and sliced lamb. The cooked buffet food isn't bad, but it's more worth it to stick to your hotpot/bbq in my opinion!

Big open space inside, very nicely decorated. Good service, though sometimes a bit slow. I like the concept, with the grill, hotpot, and prepared foods included. I just did bbq and prepared; these places in general are better with groups, but it was just me, and I didn't want to overdo it. The food was good-not-great. Just not flavorful. The sauces were okay, not full of flavor like some other places. The prepared stuff was slightly better than Chinese buffet versions, but only slightly, and most of it was the same things (orange chicken, black pepper chicken, etc.) A few more interesting seafood items. But still, lacking in flavor. And the meats were meh too. Standard beef bulgogi was a little tough, and not at all flavorful. Spicy beef bulgogi had more flavor, but no heat. Spicy pork? Meh. No heat. I like spicy, so my scale is tilted, but seriously, no heat, no spice. Even the kimchi was mild. I was intrigued by the skewers but ordering is weird (according to the posted sign): take skewers to table, server takes them to kitchen, then brings them back cooked. I had assumed I would cook them at the table, so I just passed. Spray can of oil at the table. Plus butter pats in plastic, kind of awkward to use. Kid K would have been happy- plenty of desserts. I left stuffed, don't get me wrong, but I doubt I'll be back. Just not enough flavor. But if you are looking for a place that combines several options, without an add-on cost, this could work.
