Tried Bento Go for the first time this weekend, my boyfriend has been a regular there for years. I got the salmon habachi with veggies and it was delightful!! I also got an order of spring rolls that were tasty too. My boyfriend's forever order is the pork habachi with veggies and egg rolls. It was really nice to get a tasty, affordable meal that was not laden with carbohydrates. The restaurant was clean and welcoming. Bento go is fine, nothing to rave about, but it's okay. I went through the drive through around 12pm for lunch, there was no line in the drive through, which was nice, and the food took about 5 minutes to be ready after I pulled up to the window. I ordered the chicken katsu with fried rice and it comes with a side of salad for ~$12. The chicken was fried pretty well and wasn't dry, the rice was lacking, more on the white rice side than fried rice. The sauce helped this otherwise bland dish out a ton. The portion size is also kinda small. I'm typically not a big eater and usually have at least half of my meal leftover. This was fine and left me still hungry. read more

I have driven by it tons of times, but this is another place I would have missed if it weren't for the good Yelp reviews. Online ordering and drive through pickup were super easy. The order was ready exactly at the stated pick up time. I thought it was funny they make a note about the spicy pad thai on the menu not being able to be customized for less heat. Then I tasted the pad thai. It was just one foot over the line into "uncomfortably hot" territory for me. Like lips and tongue burning up hot. Also a little heavy on the fish sauce for my personal taste. Hibachi teriyaki chicken was simple and satisfying. It comes with rice and mixed veggies. The side of creamy yum yum sauce really made it. Everything was hot, fresh and reasonably priced. The portions are also really generous, so could easily make two meals depending on appetite. read more

A nice family-owned spot on west Henderson Road. Bento Go is drive thru only, but I was able to order online to expedite my round trip journey. I had the spicy teriyaki bento box with chicken, fried rice and mixed vegetables. All three were good individually but they really complemented each other well! Portions were good, too, as I had leftovers. I also tried the Yaki Udon noodles with beef, and I thought it was fine... but not as good as my teriyaki chicken. read more

My mom and I went to get Bento Go after her eye appointment and when we went in to order, you have to order on a kiosk which is fine if you are comfortable with a kiosk. We had to wait quite a bit for two items and we were the only ones there. The food was okay. The flavors weren't very impressive. Nothing too amazing but worth a try if you're in the area. read more

I really appreciate the easy online ordering and the drive-thru pickup option, especially right now, but pretty much always. The food was good - the Alaska roll seemed fresh, and could have just used some kind of light sauce, but some soy and wasabi took care of that, and the salmon and crab were great. The crab Rangoon was really nice, with a creamy filling and crunchy outside, and the sweet and sour sauce is my favorite translucent plastic-looking variety XD I also got the chicken hibachi dinner for later, and mostly enjoyed it. The chicken was well cooked and had a good sauce with it, but the veggies were a little cold. The ginger sauce was decent, but seemed unnecessary - I just dumped everything together in a big bowl and that seemed to do the trick to distribute the sauce under the chicken and veggies. I like the concept of a drive thru hibachi and bento box restaurant. I would come here again, food came out quick, but I would try something different. I did not enjoy the hibachi chicken. The pieces were very roughly chopped and not uniform. The quality and appearance was questionable, it may have just been the coating/sauce wasn't really sure what was going on. I never had a piece with bad texture that I tasted but I was still hesitant. The portion size was large, but I pretty much just ate the rice and veggies. I would have actually preferred the size of the veggies and chicken to be swapped but maybe that's just me. I was on Henderson for an appointment, and even though it's only about 10 minutes from home I had passed this hundreds of times and never stopped. I've been missing out! Pros: - It is delicious! I mean easily best hibachi I've had. -Rice perfectly cooked -Veggies fresh and perfectly steamed -Chicken seemed incredibly high quality and cooked perfectly -I had the spicy teriyaki. I enjoy spice, and it does have a decent kick Cons--barely -Portions are a little big, but you could get two lunches out of one order. So pro/con -You do have to wait a little bit in drive thru, but it's not bad -It was about $9.50 all in. A little on the pricey side for something that seems branded as "fast casual". You can get $7 hibachi out there, but not with this taste and quality. So easily a great value. -You can order online and then pick up via drive thru. Love this place. Whenever I'm on this side of town I get food from here. I get the exact same thing every time and it never disappoints. It is not open to go inside which is fine by me. On our birthday, EBS and I was born on same day - I was his older lady, his phone popped up a memory from the year before. He got to eat a Bento box from one of his favorite places. ( I ran a book fair for 12 hrs. that day at school). Got me hungry for one. Not many places in Columbus came up in my search for one so this is my first try. Not the traditional one, I took a star off for no sticky rice ball but not bad for a place in a former Wendy's. Got hibachi shrimp and spring rolls. Shrimp was great, but too much zucchini for my taste. Spring rolls was much fatter than those I love from Pho House in AA, but almost as good. But I can tell you that I love the chop sticks they have. Round and heavier than the ones I have even gotten in higher price places we went. Took an extra pair or 2 to keep with me. Bento Go has drive through sushi. It really does and people actually go to eat there. Why oh why do I even? It sounded interesting. This shockingly wasn't as bad as you think it was. It has kind of a big menu. It's much more than you would expect from a simple looking business. There's all kinds of bento boxes with choices of proteins and sauces. It's about $6 for one box. That's a pretty good price for what you get. All the boxes come with a protein including beef, fish, and tofu. There's also the choice of sauce including soy and yum yum. It also has a list of many rolls. The avocado cucumber roll is a good size. I might actually come back to Bento Go. It was much better than expected. The prices are much better than more upscale restaurants without too much of a sacrifice in taste. read more

I rarely give out 5 ! This place is (IMHO) deserving of 5! This is our go to place for Ramen and Udon noodles. They have an easy way to place the order online and pay. Then drive up and get your food at the 'drive thru' window! Always hot, freshly made and delicious! They make the best egg rolls too! They have always been fast, efficient and friendly at the 'drive thru'! I have not gone inside but once to pick up a to go order so I can't say with accuracy the seating and atmosphere inside if you are looking to eat there. Pot stickers is the only decent thing I got from them. The crab Rangoon's are bland and over all just not tasty as other places. The hibachi chicken with fried rice was bland as well, and had weird textures in the vegetables. The lobby is closed as well looks like they're running a day care in there. Overall, I don't recommend and hope that they can fix these issues as I do realize it's family owned. The service was fine, I just don't want anyone else to waste their money like I did read more

This place blew my mind. I ordered ahead and despite arriving 10 minutes early, they still brought my food out straight away. Everything was delicious. It was a great experience. We ordered a stir fry beef Udon and a shrimp Phad Thai because we were in a hurry. They cooked them pretty fast. There were only 2 other customers in there, and the drive-through were like every 2-3 minutes a car? It's not like McDonald's busy but I think that's good. The restroom was pretty clean (I only know the men's room though). Food were good too. My stir fried Udon was kinda sweet and I think they used plum sauce. Will try Sushi next time. read more

It's incredible what you can do with a refurbished Wendy's! Bento Go has become my husband's and my go to place when we want a rice or noodle dish. The service is fast, the food is always high quality and hot, and everything is reasonably priced. To top it all off, they have a drive through so you can get a delicious bento box in your pajamas. You wait more in their drive through than you would at a traditional fast food restaurant because they cook everything to order, but we've still never waited more than 10-15 minutes, which is incredible! I love their teriyaki and spicy teriyaki bento boxes (shrimp and salmon are my favorites) and would also highly recommend their pad thai! It's delicious and such a generous portion that I can usually stretch it into two meals. We're also big fans of their crab rangoon. Honestly, it's hard to go wrong! read more

This is a pic of my leftovers from last night. I ate until I was full and still had this much left for lunch. It's Pad Thai with tofu and it is delicious. Our family if 4 ate for under $40! Because of COVID-19, we ordered online and picked it up. Everything tasted fresh and was very nicely packaged. They did a great job with our special request ( I don't eat egg and my daughter specialized her sushi). You can also add extra sauces, which I think is a great service. I didn't actually go in here because I did drive-thru. But for a Sunday evening close to 8, they were not super busy. There was one car in front of us and one car behind us, but I think because they were not busy they were a little slow. But that's okay, because it just means they're taking time to cook the food! We ordered teriyaki chicken with fried rice, katsu with fried rice, spring rolls, and crab rangoon. Prices are definitely a steal! We paid $20 total! The fried rice was light which I really liked. It had a nice flavor to it too. My friend said the teriyaki chicken was mall quality. LOL. She wasn't impressed. I thought the katsu was good but the breading was seriously falling off it. The sauce brought out flavor since the katsu was slightly bland by itself. Her teriyaki chicken came with stir fry vegetables that seemed to have the same sauce as the fried rice. My katsu came with a side salad. I like how they incorporate the greens!! The spring rolls and crab Rangoon were actually better than I thought! I liked it! You get a lot for the Rangoon and the spring rolls are huge!! The whole thing lasted me two meals. I would definitely come back here again. They have sushi which I'm interested in trying. I can see why people love this place. I asked for the salmon medium rare and a side of fried rice. Also came with veggies. The rice was of the best I've ever had the salmon was restaurant quality... seasoned wonderfully and indeed medium rare. The veggies were well seasoned and al dente. The prices have increased so know that in advance. I'd skip the egg rolls next time unless you can eat them right away. Flavor was great but texture not so good if you have to nuke them which I did. Nice and quick service. No wait. I have heard many talk about the portions being so large it could be two meals. I had teriyaki pork, veggies & house noodles, and an order of 2 pork egg rolls. She had a soda. The bill for all this was only $20 - that's cheap - and these are the normal prices, not a lunch special. A bento box of grilled meat, vegetables and rice that will fill up most adults or any kid is $6.25 - $7.25 depending on your protein choice. The protein portion in the bento box was generous - 5 or 6 oz. Tasty, fresh. We filled up on our bento boxes and appetizers and took enough home for her to have lunch tomorrow. The interior is clean and well done. Service was friendly, fast and attentive. The food took 3 or 4 minutes, because everything seems hot, fresh and cooked to order. They have a really nice, simple, well executed website that you can order from, then come pick up either inside or at the drive-through. I have always been interested in coming to this restaurant to try it out and I'm thankful I did! A few days ago I got myself the spicy crab sushi which had the perfect amount of spice and a burst of flavor. I also went ahead and got myself the tonkostu ramen which had an amazing presentation and delicious flavor. I went through their very convenient drive thru and the staff were very friendly.
