There is a QR code on each table that you would need to use to order your food. We ordered the salt and pepper chicken, the Singapore rice noodles, and the beef fried noodles. My favorite was the Singapore rice noodles. The salt and pepper chicken was just too salty for my taste. Overall, all the food items were flavorful. Low key, simple decoration and very clean place with great customer service. Definitely recommended this place and will be going back to try out different dishes.

We had the amazing food here after a long day hiking. All the dishes were amazing. The spicy chicken was too sweet but apart from that all other items were really good. The service was good. They were very responsive. Restroom was clean too.

This is one of my favorite Chinese restaurants in Columbus. The ambiance may not be all that, but don't let that fool you. The food is excellent. We used the QR code at our table to place our order, and the food arrived quickly. We ordered the Salt and Pepper Chicken, the Singapore Rice Noodles, the Chicken Fried Rice, and the beef fried noodles. All the items were tasty and flavorful. My favorite was the fried rice, but the hand-pulled noodles that Xi Xia is famous for was also delicious. I look forward to coming back here to try more of their dishes.

Tastey hand stretched noodles, broth checked all the boxes and opened up the senses nicely w spice but either to much salt or I am pretty sure MSG in it, as a killer headache later, and drank about 4 gallons of water. Next time i will get the cold noodle dish.

Very authentic and fun experience. The smells when you walk in were fantastic. We started with a sliced beef appetizer. I wish the dish was warm, I think it would have been better. I enjoyed my hot and sour soup. Hubs had a noodle dish and I had the spicy dry hotpot. Honestly, I think I just ordered wrong. I took home a lot of leftovers because I couldn't eat a lot of my lunch. It just wasn't worth eating something that I didn't really like. Service was good. You scan a QR code and order and then they bring the food to the table.

Loved the location because of all the other awesome Asian eateries around, not to mention the whole of Little Japan all connected. Portions were generous and can definitely last up to 2 full meals with the noodle dishes. Their appetizers like the Taiwanese sausage on sticks and Taiwanese popcorn chicken were the bees' knees. Prices are on the higher side but this is probably due to the noodles being hand pulled and made fresh to order. I love that you can pick between the widths of noodles. I had the "thin" which were actually quite thick already but vow to try their thicc ones which just looked flatter and chewier. Mmmmm... I will say that their menu is jam packed and big that I experienced analysis paralysis and food FOMO. I do not like that you had to use a QR code to view, order and pay all from your phone. It makes having bigger parties trying to pay separately very difficult and annoying. Scrolling constantly through this giant menu via a small cellphone screen was also not the best experience for first-timers here. It's a small, cramped space and the bathrooms for no reason at all were basically 100F degrees. Waves of hot air pumped through the tiny space, almost leaving me unconscious. The seating area was kind of stuffy and hot as well but the bathrooms were insanely intolerable. Please turn down the heat in there and save on your energy bills, for glob's sake! Service was pretty quick and the presentation of the dishes matched their pictures. Every dish looked very appetizing.

Xi Xia is a staple in my house. Every time we travel, this is our first meal when we return home. Have guests and want to impress them? Take them to Xi Xia!! I stopped by after a dreary trip to the BMV, and my meal saved my soul. The service is always so fast and kind! A staff never will seat you but then you order and pay through a QR code. All parties at the table are able to order on the same QR code and pay separately at the end. The restaurant itself is always clean and cozy. With beautiful music playing. What I got on 04Mar2025: XiXia stirred noodles, with wide noodles. This comes with beef, which I keep, but then I also add lamb for another layer of flavor! This dish is a salty, spicy, savory, and subtly sweet delicacy. Nice chunks of chili and crushed garlic. Will awaken the senses! Salt and pepper fried chicken. The best crispy fried chicken bites you will have have. Served with a sweet/sour dipping sauce. I washed this meal down with a can of Walovi herbal drink. This is the better version of sweet tea and sooo perfect to drink while eats spicy and salty foods.

The salt and pepper chicken is the best dish I've ever had. The handmade noodles are very good too. The ordering is a little weird in that you scan the placard at your table and order with your phone. But none of that matters. All that matters is the salt & pepper chicken.

I absolutely inhaled the dapingji noodles, partially because I was starving, but mostly because they were so delicious! Loved the wide noodles as well as the potato, carrot, and bone-in chicken thighs. Super hearty and satisfying dish. It's on the pricier side ($17) given the casualness of the establishment.

Unbelievably amazing noodles. Best hand pulled noodle dishes I've had in the US. Must go spot in an awesome strip center of other great spots. My friends and I found this place online and the staff was so friendly. We are already planning our next trip. 11/10

Clean dining area, order from a kiosk on the table, had pictures and food descriptions. There is also a live server to help out if needed and brings the food and drinks. Food was extremely delicious. Just so Hellenes go stumble across this place and will definitely be back and recommend to friends and family. We each dried the "wide" noodle. Will definitely come back to experience more

And they did it again. What an amazing meal i had, fantastic flavors good ambience and outstanding service. Always the popular dishes are good, well I bet that's why they are popular. I hope to come back again soon and enlighten my day with another fabulous dinner.

Quick and attentive service. We started with crispy dumplings (6), crispy egg rolls (2), and a scallion pancake. Bing, their crepe, wasn't available our night. My dining companions loved the pancake - for me perhaps a bit too much drizzled sauce. It was helpfully quartered when brought to the table so sharing was easy. The dumplings were indeed crispy and probably my favorite with a standard dark dipping sauce. The egg rolls were standard and perhaps a bit undersized and over fried, but a good creamy dipping sauce was a pivot away from the sweet chili sauce that usually accompanies such apps. Ramen is clearly the focus of the menu and three of us had ramen with chicken and one with pork. They spoke favorably of the broth and the combos of mushrooms, boiled egg, greens. I had the rice vermicelli with chicken that they called a salad. I was expecting the classic Vietnamese staple but this one had some adaptations, perhaps to a fusion or one might say less ethnic nod. Small things but the ample portion served in a small bowl made it hard to mix the rice noodles, lettuce, carrot, cucumber and chicken that is a common approach to the dish after drowning all the ingredients in both sweet sauce (nuoc cham), siracha and/or hoisin sauce. It only came with the nuoc cham. They brought Siracha when I asked for it, but I'm a fan of having these condiments on the table standard. Again, had the sense that the business lunch crowd that is probably the primary audience isn't likely to be as focused on the more authentic ingredients. The chicken was also not grilled and sliced but had a pleasant preparation. Just know it won't be the charred flavor that is so common. Finally, not to obsess on this one dish, but cutting the lettuce leaves more would enable easier chop sticks combos of the ingredients in single bites. Overall it worked for us. I am definitely the most focused on (my companions would say obsessed) on connection to what these dishes should be. If adaptations work well for you, Tiger+Lily likely will as well.

When I walked in the atmosphere was great, I could smell good food and heard conversations. There's a large area with large round tables to right and to the left are booths and almost all of them were full. The menu was a mix of Americanized Chinese, traditional Chinese and included Dim Sum as well. There were a number of dishes we didn't know much about and there were dishes being enjoyed by other customers that looked delicious. The wait staff was more than happy to explain the dishes and/or show us on the menu what someone was eating. They took very good care of us and shared the tasks of bringing our food, filling water, and just checking in. Now the food. The food came out very quickly! We all received a well filled bowl of rice. First out was the string beans, perfectly cooked, not droopy, and the flavors of garlic and hot peppers. Even though the peppers were there the heat was not overpowering at all. Next was the shredded pork with garlic sauce. The textures of the pork and bamboo shoots were a nice contrast and the sauce was perfectly balanced and craveable. The special grilled lamb, I was told, was some of the best in the city. It was tender and well spiced. Even when he said he was full he just couldn't stop eating it. For the dim sum order we got the shrimp dumplings, soup dumplings, scallion pancake, and sesame balls and they brought a soy sauce and a chili oil with them. The shrimp dumplings were tender but the dough was pretty sticky. I think this is normal and they were tasty with some of the oil on them. The scallion pancakes were very thin and gummy, this is the only thing we ordered that I would not get again. The soup dumplings were very small but packed a lot of flavor. The dough did stick together a bit so unfortunately some of the soup did leak out. The sesame balls were the hit and we're just the right amount of sweetness that we considered them desert. They were large, at least 2" in size, with a wonderful sesame seed covered exterior and a soft, sweet center. Chuan Jiang Hao Zi is a wonderful somewhat hidden gem. If you want traditional Chinese cuisine including all the different offal they have it and I would totally try it here over anyone else if I was brave enough. Portions were a good size for the price. I highly recommend checking them out!
