I live for a food review and I'm glad the guy told me to leave one for a free drink. This is my first time trying this place and my initial experience when walking in was mid, however, when placing my order a guy told me I could get a free drink if I leave a review. I asked for his name to include in the review (which his name is JOHN) but I got this weird vibe after I asked for his name because I guess he thought I was trying to talk to him.. that was such an unpleasant experience and caused me to feel uncomfortable afterwards. Both were delicious. The spice level was decent but the flavor of the rub was tasty. I probably could go higher on heat because both were just spicy for me. I also really liked the Dave's Sauce on the side. It has a nice tang to it and reminds me of Chick-fil-a sauce. Overall I definitely think I would order from here again. read more

I was an instant fan of Dave's Hot Chicken when I got to taste their food in California. I cannot express the level of excitement within me when I found out they opened a location so close to me! As soon as we were able, we ordered food from Dave's and I was so happy to see that it was the same delicious taste and quality I experienced in CA. Now Dave's is not for the faint of heart. I strongly suggest that if you can only partially tolerate spicy, to start off with the mild or medium because let me tell you, the hot and extra hot are beastly. While super spicy, they still maintain a great flavor, which is hard to do when do ridiculously hot. Their sides, namely the fries and mac and cheese were also so so delicious. I could eat their sauce alone every day. I do wish their ordering system was a little more clear. For example, when you order a slider, It's actually a tad bit bigger than what you think of as a slider (maybe the size of a McDonald's cheeseburger?) So, if you're not looking for a crazy amount of food, go for either a single slider or the slider and tender combo. read more
