If you're looking for a great chicken spot to try in Fort Myers, put Dave's Hot Chicken on your list! The first thing we noticed when we walked in was how vibrant and fun the restaurant is. The bright colors and modern décor really make the place stand out and created a great atmosphere. The restaurant was very clean and tidy. We told the cashier we'd never been there before. She was incredibly friendly and immediately recommended the #3 combo, a chicken sandwich, a chicken tender, and crinkle-cut fries. We took her advice, and I'm so glad we did! I ordered the Lite Mild, while my cousin chose the Medium. They also offer No Spice all the way up to Reaper, so there's truly a heat level for everyone. Don't let the word "hot" keep you away. Our food was ready in about five minutes. The chicken was delicious! It's completely different from Chick-fil-A, Raising Cane's, or any of the other chicken chains (which are all very good). It has its own unique flavor. The chicken sandwich came topped with coleslaw and pickles, which added the perfect crunch and a fresh twist. Lite Mild really wasn't spicy at all, making it perfect for anyone who doesn't like much heat, while the Medium had just the right amount of kick. The order even came with extra pickles on the side. Let's talk about those crinkle fries, they were some of the best fries I've had in a very long time. Whatever seasoning they use is absolutely incredible. I couldn't stop eating them! Overall, this was a great experience from start to finish. The restaurant was spotless, the décor was fun and inviting, the cashier was welcoming and helpful, the food came out quickly, and everything tasted amazing. A new franchise of Dave's Hot Chicken opened in early March 2026 in Fort Myers. Dave's Hot Chicken is famous for its "Nashville Hot Chicken" and it started its beginnings in Los Angles in 2017! This DHC has an end-unit location where you have plenty of parking space available. In fact, they have four outside red tables overlooking the parking lot. The environment is modern. You can order using Mobile App, or two machines on site or order counter. The staff at the counter is courteous and professional. We opted for Dave's #1 Combo (2 tenders with fries with no spice) and Dave's #2 (2 sliders with fries with mild and medium spice) with a soft drink. There are seven spice level ranging from "No Spice", to "Reaper". Our plan is started with lowest spice level. Progressive increase to maximum spice for taste tests. We were there around 5:30 PM. The orders were prepared in a timely manner! The chicken tender is fresh, hot (temperature), juicy, crispy and flavorful. I love sliders better because it is a chicken tender packed with Kale Slaw, pickle on a potato roll with Dave's sauce! The size of chicken tender is huge. Two sliders later, I was completely full and we cancel our visit to Crumble Cookies next door! Fries or Crinkle Cut fries are well seasoned but could stay in the frier little longer. Wife love her fries "Well Done"! I preferred Dave's dipping sauce over Zaxby's sauce. Wife took took her second chicken tender home! This location is new! One staff cleaned the table with a wet towel but forgot to dry the table. We used Dave's napkin to dry the table! We'll be back to test the spice level, Mac N Cheese, Mozzarella planks, and Cauliflower Slider. read more

I'm glad I ate the food first and then read the reviews because so many people got so much wrong. I loved it here and my wife did too. Here's what's delicious. First off, the slider meals are seasoned well, the inside of the chickens juicy and the deep fried exterior is amazing. To get that crunch with all those spices, and to get such a juicy center, it's unheard of. The fries do need a bit of work but the seasoning is top notch and we will definitely be coming back. We didn't quite have a fried chicken plug yet because we just got our wings and pieces at Publix but now we do. So here's what the other reviews are wrong: First: portion sizes as opposed to price. As a fellow American I know that everyone is used to bigger portions, HOWEVER, bigger portions is unhealthy. And what do you think this is, Popeyes or KFC? This is a sit down, quality over quantity, savory and delicious place. The service was fantastic. Kalis, so sorry if I butchered your name, was fantastic. Please give her a raise. Edit... responding to management Brett. Yes I will. ......... I think the chicken was good, not cult worthy but good. Friend we're also hot and crispy. I also like bread with my hot chicken but it was a little dry, like maybe it had been sitting out a bit. I think they were supposed to come with slaw, but when I got home there wasn't any in my bag. In my opinion, it is very expensive for what you get. It was just shy of $30 for a two tender meal and a two slider meal. The meals do not include a drink, so if I had added two drinks, our chicken tenders meals lunch would have been about $35. As a comparison, when we are in an area where there is a Raisin' Canes, we can get 6 tenders, fries, Cole slaw, Texas toast and a drink for about $16 . I just think $30 and no drinks is too much to pay. read more

Food is good but they always forget my drink when i order delivery. Personally eat there if you don't want to miss any items.

Service was good and efficient and everyone there was nice. However, I was not a fan of the food. Everything tasted the same and even the fries have the same seasoning that the chicken does. You couldn't get a break from the same taste throughout the entire meal. The slider was good, I liked the slaw and sauce on it, but I wouldn't go there again. The Diet Coke from the machine tasted really off, like mildew. They also charge $1.50 per sauce. So a side of bbq and ranch makes an already expensive meal, even more. For two people we paid $44, we each got a meal and a drink. For that price I would rather go to a sit down restaurant. read more

I enjoy Dave's Hot Chicken. Had many a great meal and service at the Pembroke Pines location. These are consistent chicken sandwiches. What I did not like was the pricing! It's almost $2 bucks higher on the two slider meal. Each is independently owned franchise, Mr. Owner you may want to take a look at your pricing. Soon the fad wears out and you are left with true fans who support you but not at the prices currently listed. read more
