Great service and great food! I ordered the brisket sandwich and coleslaw. My spouse got the pulled pork sandwich. All items were great! The meat was full of flavor and tender. While dining in an employee offered us the freedom fries and gave us a free tray! They were also delicious. A tall gentleman was checking on people in the dining room. I needed ketchup and he was happy to grab me a bottle despite then being in the self service area. I'd recommend this place! Highly satisfied. read more

We ordered the 2 meat sampler and added an extra side for pick up. The brisket was great and I recommend the Smoky Mountain sauce. They had forgotten to give us our extra side and we had to call back to get a refund. read more

I have visited Mission BBQ several times as it's near my home and I am never disappointed. I have always ordered the same thing, pulled smoked chicken, slaw and sometimes Mac and cheese. I gave it 4 stars this time only because the chicken was different this time. Still delicious but it wasn't as moist for some reason. The staff is always very nice and helpful and I like that they have outdoor seating because it's always FREEZING inside which I don't fault them for, I'm cold all of the time! I would absolutely recommend! OH, I almost forgot... the vinegar. I LOVE the vinegar! read more

First time at this location; the set up is the same as the Cape Coral location. I had the brisket sandwich, it comes in lean or moist, I chose moist as it's more flavor. The sandwich was very good & you put on your own sauce which are on the table. Next time will try the ribs. Best BBQ in Fort Myers! The employees are friendly and courteous. The entrees are delicious! I always order their beef brisket (moist) along with their baked beans (although their Mac 'n Cheese is very good too). The walls are adorned with pictures of first responders, firefighters, policemen, and our wonderful military men and women. How can you not love and support a place like this? We love this place for local bbq. They support veterans and first responders. Really the best bbq around sw florida. We moved here from Oklahoma so it took us awhile to find a good place. Give them a try they have good pulled pork, brisket, spicy sausage those are the ones I have tried and can recommend . This place don't play!! It's hands down the best BBQ I've ever had from a chain restaurant. I ordered a 1/2lb of brisket, with a side of green beans and potato salad and it was so very good. The brisket was smokey, tender and delicious. Really stole the show for sure. The service is great too, the whole staff is friendly and helpful. I even caught the manager walking around making sure we were all happy. Definitely going the extra mile. The atmosphere is great too. I ordered a 2 meat plate. I had Turkey ave extra lean brisket with beans and green beans. The brisket was really good. My Turkey was dry. I liked the baked beans and green beans. They were flavorful. My husband had the ribs. He said they were tasty. They have 6 different sauces you can add to your meats. I went with Texas and Memphis. They were both good. I liked the Texas one best. I am from Texas so it's hard to find a really good barbecue place that's like Texas. I did enjoy my food. I would go back and recommend trying this place out. read more

First time at Mission BBQ. My overall experience was very good. Very friendly service and love supporting our Troops and especially loved the dedicated Veteran parking spot. I ordered the Brisket platter. Have to admit my sides were much more satisfying than the brisket itself. Parts of my brisket were moist and some dry. Green beans with bacon were delicious and was the Mac and cheese. Will be back for sure but will try pulled pork instead. read more

Their mission is to honor all service members and have fabulous BBQ. The walls are covered with pictures and items of all branches of military service. We went New Years Eve this year. The restaurant is cafeteria casual; you stand in line and order your food and drink they bring it over to your long table. They also had a six pack of different BBQ sauces. I had the brisket & mac and cheese side. It was the most tender brisket I have ever eaten. They were closing early, one of the employees came to check to see if everything was satisfactory. He was so pleasant and friendly. My son-in-law said he thought he was one of the pit-masters. If you want great food, friendly people, this is the place for you, and a place that honors our military. They don't put jalapeños in their Mac like Famous Dave's. Famous Dave's ruins the Mac by doing that to theirs. I hate spicy. So I'm happy that Mission keeps it how it is, a normal tasty Mac and cheese without spicy. My wife and I have eaten here 2 times and plan to be here more often. Famous Dave's opened the doors for mission bbq. Plus the amount of meat they give it better. I feel like famous Dave's skimps out on meat amount. That's my opinion. The set up here is cool. Hot and tasty. PROS: Delicious BBQ done really nicely. Service starts with a line at the door, moving up towards the large menus posted right in front as the line proceeds. Wait provides excellent help along the way for those of us who may not be familiar with all the items being offered. The whole service line is handled beautifully. I tried this restaurant for the first time yesterday and ordered a pulled pork sandwich. The pulled pork sandwich had not one, but FIVE little bones in it. The first one I actually chewed and swallowed because I thought it was a burnt end. When I got another one in my mouth, I pulled it out to look at it and sure enough it was a bone. And then there was another and another and another. When a dining room attendant came by our table to ask how lunch was, I told him I had bones in my pulled pork and showed him the bones. He said, "Oh, yeah, well that happens; it's totally normal ...". We just moved here from St. Louis three months ago where we ate BBQ all the time, all of our lives, and that has never happened in a pulled pork sandwich! He minimized my complaint and never once offered to do anything about it, i.e. offer me a fresh sandwich, offer me a coupon to come back at another time, offer me a dessert, etc.! The flavors were tasty, the mac & cheese was good, but this isn't how to run a barbecue restaurant. Even though my husband is a veteran and we liked the theme and the National Anthem, sadly, we won't be back. Horrible first impression! read more

This was SO good. We got the 2 meat sampler with Brisket and Turkey. We got 3 1/2 slices of each meat. We did get the lean Brisket which was good but the turkey was amazing. We also got the mac n cheese and the cheesy potatoes, we'd skip the potatoes next time. The cornbread that came with it was a little dry and needed butter which we didn't see. Now if we get turkey to go, as again it was amazing. Gotta love great BBQ and a great mission helping our vets. read more
