Have not been to a Dave's before. First visit. I ordered a two slider meal and soft drink. It came with some pickles, seasoned fries, sauce, two slices of bread and two good size pieces of seasoned chicken. First the pickles were very good. I am a lover of fries, these were worthy. Well seasoned, not over cooked. Two slices of white bread. I guess you could make a sandwich. The chicken was different than I've had. It was soaked in seasoned. So it was very moist and tender. I really enjoyed it. I selected one mild and one medium hot. It was new to me so I was going easy. I think I'd go with medium in the future. Over all I'll go back. Ordering for pick up is wonky. You start at the Dave's Website where you are asked to develop your order. And then it asks you for pick-up or delivery. I chose pick-up. Then it takes you to another site, Grubhub, where you must re order again. If you try and bypass this and call, Dave's message continues to repeat that the website is the quickest way to order meals and to not disturb the busy staff as they will not be able to pick up. Upon arrival I had to order my food in person as my order was not placed even though the site said "15-25 min" pick up. This turned out to be a blessing because to order pick up through Dave's site they charge you a convenience fee to use their tech. The cashier confirmed, yes the menu items are inflated if you go thru the site. It's all a terrible practice especially when Dave's phone message tries to filter you to use their site to charge the public more money. Can't give this place 5 stars as much as I'd love to. I know they just opened up, so they're bound to have some errors in the beginning. We've had Dave's Hot Chicken in Vegas, so it's nice to order it off the strip at normal prices. The food was GREAT! We stopped by on a weeknight around 9 PM. It was so crowded we had to sit outside. Majority of the crowd was waiting for their food. I think we waited about 30 minutes? The people at the registers were people I wouldn't want representing my restaurant if I had one. Younger kids have zero customer service skills. When I picked up our order I asked if anything was labeled but unfortunately they weren't. I added an extra star because the guy who handed me our order was able to help me tell the difference between extra hot, medium, and light mild. As stated earlier- the food was GREAT. Only complaint is the extra hot wasn't as hot. Guess I'll have to try the reaper. read more

We seldom came to the Rubio's at this location before the cooks decided to burn it to the ground (or whatever happened), so we were excited to see a new spot open up! It was busy, and I tried to come at an odd time to avoid lines. Still quite a few people were waiting inside and out for their order to be called. I ordered the 2 Sliders w/Fries and a shake. Waited for a while, but eventually got my food. I have to say the sliders are huge. I couldn't even finish ONE slider, so this is a perfect order to split with two people easily. Order ahead because there's a long line right now since they're pretty new! I think the pricing is pretty great. A two sandwich and fries combo is about $15 and is enough for 2 people to share. Fed a family of 6 for less than $80. A lot of my family are saying it's their favorite chicken sandwich! It does have a different flavor from other chicken sandwich places so it's definitely a place to try! Pro tip: Mix the Dave sauce with honey :) The young lad working there is super nice and friendly!
