I really wanted to love it cause my husbands been dying to try it but it fell very short in many ways. We went last night at 8pm and parking lot was pretty empty however once we ordered we looked around at the tables and the counter seats and realized a lot of people didn't have food yet. Our recipes said order placed at 8 exactly. We did not receive our food until 8:40pm. I'm sorry but for fried chicken that is just insane. Everyone around us was talking about how long the wait was. If I were any hungrier I would've canceled my order got a refund and left. Like restaurants don't even take that long and this is essentially fast food fried chicken. Unacceptable in my opinion. However as far as service staff goes. April was so friendly! And for the food. Was it worth the 40 minute wait? My husbands answer, yes. My answer, no. The chicken has wayyyyyy to much seasoning. Thank god I added cheese to my slider to mask some of all the saltiness of the chicken. The macaroni noodles were hard. The only things worth mentioning in my opinion were the fries and the milkshake but when you're a canes girl the fries didn't compare but they were still good. Even if they have a "spicy" chicken sandwich it's kind of a joke. That's what makes places like Dave's so great. If you want a mild chicken sandwich you can get one. Heard good things and we've been wanting to try it so today was our day. We got the strips and sliders in lite mild, mild, medium and hot. The lite mild has a good flavor but no spice. Mild was very mild, I would go for that again. Medium had a good amount of spice and hot was too hot for my taste but the guys like it. It bears repeating I don't know why they call it a slider. These are full chicken sandwiches. After eating a whole #3 in stuffed. The fries were ok. We ate at home so I popped mine on the air fryer to make them better. We got a Mac and cheese cup to share because the reviews of it sounded terrible. I agree, this was basic cafeteria Mac and cheese. I wouldn't go for it again. Popeyes has better Mac. I didn't like how the sauce packets say keep refrigerated yet they were lukewarm and sitting in a basket on the counter? Also generally don't care for sauce in a packet. I did use the one in the cup. But it's disappointing because I like ranch with my chicken, not whatever sauce is the places "secret" "special" whatever sauce. I also didn't like how it says go to the pick up counter for online order. But no one Acknowledged me. The person bagging orders was just talking to the cooks and didn't turn around once. I had to yell at her when she semi turned sideways to get anyone's attention I took away 2 whole stars because when I opened up my meal there was a disgusting dirty receipt in there touching the food. This is so putrid. I cannot stand papers, stickers or anything of the like. To have something like that sitting directly touching my warm food and just melting into the food is so unacceptable and of course it was literally only my personal meal. Honestly wanted to puke and almost didn't even eat my food. Would I come back? I wouldn't avoid coming back necessarily but I definitely won't suggest coming here and I doubt my family will either. I noticed a lot of people hustling in the kitchen to get orders out. 2. AMBIANCE: The design is quirky fun and cute. It was really clean, and there was an employee cleaning and checking on guests. He knew a guest who happened to walk by, and the exchange between the two was great to watch! 3. FOOD: The presentation was great. Unfortunately, we were struck by how incredibly salty both the chicken and fries were. The chicken and fries were made well... but were hard to enjoy. The medium slider and fries is a good choice with the combination of the slaw, pickles and bread. The slider is a full size, filling sandwich. The fries are good too, and crunchy. The portion I received was "kids meal" sized, so if you're a fan of fries I would order an extra side. Mac n cheese is just like watery boxed Mac n cheese. I would pass on it unless you like craft mac n cheese and aren't expecting anything unique. Given that they just opened it's a bit of a mess, so I would give them time to iron out their systems and service. This was our first time and we order the mild chicken slider meal with cheese fries and a side of Mac and cheese. They called our number and unbeknownst to us they had given us the wrong plate. They called out our number again and quickly realized their mistake. They were fast to rectify it and made our order packaged to go since we already started eating the previous meal. My chicken was extremely spicy, where they added the mild sticker under it was the hot sticker so I'm assuming they didn't know whether it was mild or hot but just put the sticker on it. Got home to see the small cup it came in was maybe half full. Super upsetting that they wouldn't fill the cup up even 3/4 of the way at LEAST. I took 3 bites and it was gone. It's just not my kind of chicken sadly ughhhh it gives off a semi-sweet taste that I'm not use to. My man loved his and I typically go for chicken with the bone in and they don't have that option. If you're the type that prefers bone in, you still might like it, who knows right. Now if you love cheese fries, they're fire af!!! They kinda remind me of a better version of fresh White Castle cheese fries. They had great customer service and gave us coupons to enter for free Drake tickets which we did love! They also put coleslaw on the sliders which is interesting, it wasn't bad but nah not for me. Waited for this location to open for months and then I got to try it. I ordered online and picked up my order. This location is new as stated, but they're still not prepared for the pick-up online orders as I still had to wait in line due to there not being a designated area for pick-up. So I spent just under a 100 bucks to feed my family and have sandwiches I can't eat because they're too hot. It's sad because the chicken is cooked great. I've been waiting for this place to open to see what the hype was about. The place was busy. I ordered the #2 with a side of Mac. And I actually got my food in under 10 minutes with it being busy. The Mac I would definitely pass on next time. It tased like cheap deli Mac and cheese. But the reason why I came here was because of the chicken sandwich which is the star here.
