I really liked this place. The chicken was perfectly crispy and full of flavor. The spice level was just right, and the hot mozz were also crispy and very enjoyable. I would be happy to return.

I was pleasantly surprised at how good my experience at Dave's Hot Chicken was. The restaurant was clean and organized. I was amazed at the size of the Chicken Tender Slider. When I hear the term chicken slider, I picture a small piece of chicken on a King's Hawaiian roll. This was not the case. The sliders at Dave's are the size of a typical restaurant's chicken sandwich. The chicken tender with the mild sauce had the perfect amount of heat and spiciness. The fries were seasoned to perfection with just the right amount of crispiness. The attendant who took my order was efficient yet friendly, repeating my order to ensure accuracy. I look forward to returning to Dave's and experimenting with higher heat, maybe even the sauce called Reaper!

I haven't been to the location in Florida yet! But they did not disappoint when I tried them in Cali. We decided to do the hot box which is a roulette of 10 sliders. The options are choose two level spices or one reaper and the rest a mix of mild and medium, but we originally wanted to order two reapers, two extra hot and the rest mild, however they accommodated us for two reapers, two extra hot and the rest mild. We also got a box of fries for $10 which was a decent amount to feed 6 people. I would definitely revisit.

I thought this was a decent chicken spot, inspired by Nashville chicken style chicken. Reminded me a lot of Hot Chicks down the road. I really like the decor and cleanliness of this place. It was pretty busy as well which to me means it's pretty popular The menu was simple but in a good way. I ordered the chicken tender meal which came with fries. Really good. I also ordered a strawberry shake which was just okay to me. Overall I'd recommend giving them a try.

Wow was I impressed with Daves hot chicken! From first glance they had a nicely designed inside, and a bunch of outdoor seating, one thing that also sets this spot apart from other local chicken spots is they also don't have a drive thru. The cashier was super friendly and described the menu in detail to me. I really found that great especially for being a first time. I decided to order the number 3 combo, and I ordered it Mild just in case the spice was a lot. Thankfully it wasn't, and I would definitely try Medium next time to up it a level. I absolutely loved the fries! The seasoning on them is sooo good and the slider had a huge piece of chicken on it that tasted fresh and fantastic! I loved the slaw on it as well as the pickles! I also loved Dave's sauce. It tasted like it was a mayo base sauce which isn't a bad thing at all. I would definitely recommend! My combo also came with an additional slider on bread and more pickles for that tender which I thought awesome! I really thought this combo was a great deal for how much food you got! I also ordered a drink to go with everything but they had a nice Coke machine there. I would say that they got very busy for lunch! I just beat the crowd when I arrived but when I left every table was taken, so keep that in mind. I cannot wait to go back and try two other combos that caught my eye, the four mini slider combo, and also the Daves hot chicken bites combo! They looked fantastic!!

Dave's hot chicken is truly the first of its kind in West Pines and I was STOKED when i saw it coming in. We waited a bit while the hype died down a little because the first week or two the line was out the door! We stopped in after studying the menu and walked up knowing exactly what we wanted. As a fast casual spot, you order at the counter and then they give you a buzzer to wait for your food. We got the sliders (extra hot), tenders (no spice) and Dave's bites (nuggets, no spice), crinkle cut fries and Mac n Cheese. Almost everything was amazing. The tenders are MASSIVE, so a two count is more than enough for most. I got the two sliders and only finished one. It was big, crispy, spicy and moist. The Dave's sauce on it was creamy and left a nice balance and you add those big crunchy briny pickles and the flavors melt together perfectly. The regular tenders (no spice) while big, hot and crispy lacked any real flavor. I know we got them with "no spice" but i thought they would have more seasoning. Fries were awesome. Hot, crispy, seasoned well and dunked in Dave's Sauce were AMAZING! Mac n Cheese was meh. Seemed like Stouffers in a cup. Wouldn't get it again Spot is really cool with indoor and outdoor seating. Wall was tagged like graffiti giving it a fun vibe. What i will say, it was FREEZING in there so bring a jacket. I'll definitely be back to Dave's, for the sliders and the fries!

Food was fresh, service was fast, place was nice and clean! There could've been more Mac and cheese in the fries but that's okay!

Dave's Hot Chicken I hope this place is stickin Two hot sliders and fries for fifteen A bit pricey But flavor is so good that it fits that price nicely The crazy part is that they have reaper hot But that's another level that I am not The sliders were a big size for what they are And the fries were crispy like a whatchamacall it bar Service was great and I love you can change the level of your spice Also you will need that water with a cup of ice

Be forewarned the Hot is hot AF but the chicken is perfectly executed juicy inside and crispy outside and absolutely worth the burn! Two is a very filling portion as the tenders are huge. The fries are crinkled and crispy. I got cheese on the side and it was a cute amount for .49. Drink is not included sadly. They are clearly cooked to order and taste just that. Inside is well appointed and clean but took it to go. Service was sufficient and hospitable enough. I would land on medium heat if I returned to really enjoy the flavors, they do not skimp on the seasoning and the fries are dusted also so it gets intense overtime. Try the sauce and honey combo with a pickle topper, wow. Truly enjoyed the experience.

Now that Dave's Hot Chicken has made it through its growing pains, it's fantastic! I went just before noon this past Saturday and the place was relatively empty, so I was able to walk right up to the counter and place my order. The ladies at the counter were very polite and friendly, and I got my food within 10-15 minutes and was given a generous amount of Dave's sauce and honey when I asked for extra. I again had the #3 meal, this time opting for Extra Hot for the sandwich and Hot for the tender, and they were both freaking amazing. My food was hot, well-cooked, well-seasoned, and absolutely delicious. I didn't notice a huge difference in spice between the two levels, but that may just be because I drenched everything in that addictive Dave's Sauce! Overall, I think this location has made some excellent improvements to their processes and I can't wait to be in the area again to have another meal here.

If you want chicken this is your place! Dave's Hot Chicken is all about chicken and spice, and they do both incredibly well. If you like heat, go for the HOT it's packed with flavor and definitely delivers a kick & ahhh the honey is the perfect spread on top! We had the sliders, and they were amazing the spicy chicken with the slaw is the perfect combo. We loved it so much, we went back for another round of 10 bites! I'm already planning my next visit can't wait to try the cauliflower bites next time.

The food is fire. That's the most important thing to know. The best hot chicken in the area. The fries are seasoned well. The meat tastes fresh. Everything was perfect with the food. The ambiance and vibe was cool. Trendy and modern and a sort of wynwood vibe. Good stuff. The staff was friendly and helpful. People were checking on us to make sure everything was ok, the cashier was super nice. Overall cool. Only issue is the wait times. The line was out the door, so I expected to wait to order. The actual meal took about 25 minutes to get though: hoping that improves over time because if it was a reasonable wait, it would be our go to spot.

I checked out Dave's Hot Chicken the day after it opened (not sure if is considered in soft launch). And I think it's worth the hype! The service was nice, they kept the tables and drink area stocked and clean, and they've got a good handful of tables in a really cool graffiti space! You can grab sliders, whole tenders, tender bites or a combo of both. I tried both the slider on a potato bun and whole tenders and they were both delicious and well seasoned! Just like the fries. The dave's sauce tastes exactly like chick fil a sauce so I'm here for it 100% I also tried out thier topped shakes and you can pick your base of strawberry, vanilla, or chocolate. Please understand it is freshly opened and the lines stretch into the parking lot so pack your patience and be prepared to wait. Once the hype dies down online ordering should open up as well.

I had a chicken sandwich with the bacon and some sort of creamy sauce on it with a side of fries. Hubby had a roasted four piece with rice, beans, and plantains. My daughter got a six piece of nuggets meal with fries. For dessert, I ordered a caramel flan and churros. I ordered ahead of time online, my order was ready in less than 20 minutes. I was able to pick it up through the drive-through. The only issue I had was that they forgot my caramel flan. I went online and emailed to the address that they had on the bag if there were any ordering issues and to my surprise, I got a call in less than an hour. It was a lady named Katy and she told me that I could come and pick up the caramel flan or get a refund. I wanted a refund, but I needed to come back to the store to do it so I told her I'll just pass by again and get the flan since I needed to go out and run errands in the area. So I went back in to get the flan, the guy in the front ended up, giving me one that he had just removed from the freezer. No sweat because I was not gonna eat it immediately. As I was walking to the car, the girl Katy that called me ran me down in the parking lot as I was getting into my car and gave me a flan that they had thawed out for me when they spoke to me on the phone earlier. She also gave me some coupons for $5 off on our next visit. It was nice that they took accountability for their missing my flan and they remedied it right away. That for me speaks volumes in terms of customer service because they made it right and in fast timing. I was impressed and I would definitely come back and recommend to my family and friends.

Having tried many Korean fried…read morechicken spots in New York, we can honestly say they all were delicious, so when we heard this one was opening, we knew we had to check it out. The restaurant is inviting and spotless, with cozy booths on one side and tables for walk-in orders. The menu is straightforward: choose between half or whole fried chicken or wings, with options for bone-in or boneless, and spice levels ranging from mild to their special spicy sauces. The food truly impresses. The chicken is perfectly fried--crisp without being greasy, tender, and packed with flavor. It's a clear step above KFC, Popeyes, or any American fried chicken chain. If you're a fried chicken fan, I highly recommend giving this place a try--you won't be disappointed.

Who doesn't love Korean Fried Chicken?…read more We usually come here during the day, and end up ordering the lunch special of boneless chicken with fries. We are really surprised to learn that their boneless is not breast but pieces of thigh. The place is really spacious, the staff very friendly, and they bring the food to you if you are eating in, so it's a step above fast casual. There is also a lot of alcoholic drinks on the menu with daily specials. Our usual go to for fried chicken is CM in North Miami Beach, but my husband prefer this place for a cleaner, more comfortable space, and he loves not having to deal with bones. He really likes his chicken in soy garlic flavor with sweet potato fries. Me, I actually prefer gnawing on bones (guess I am a dog person alright). I also find CM's chicken has better flavor in the meat itself. Another problem I have with bb.q is that the quality is not quite consistent. One time the chicken barely have any coating it was almost like grilled chicken with sauce. Another time the coating was so thick it wasn't cooked through and the soft doughy bit wasn't exactly pleasant in the mouth.

As I waited for my meal I observed how they operated. They had maybe 3-4 cooks preparing the food. And 3 up front trying to fix the orders to go out. I did get helped through the line fairly quickly, but after that I think I waited at least 15 minutes or so before my to go order was ready. As I waited I noticed all three workers that were behind the counter were filling the orders, but not one of them took the time to notice not one, but two customers that were waiting in line to place their order for quite some time. I did notice them turn around and look at them after they had been waiting for a good 5 minutes or so, but even then no one stopped to take their orders. Finally from the back a young man comes over to help them, but only after he took his time changing out the receipt paper. Once I received my to go order and took it home I couldn't wait to see how it tasted because most of the reviews said the food was good. Well, that's where I disagree. My "spicy"chicken sandwich had no taste. Very bland and the meat was crunchy instead of juicy. The fries were very greasy and my husband's Mac and cheese and rice were un edible. We tried the mango pies and they were ok, but not good enough for us to ever return. I can easily cross them off my list of places to try

(2/5) -- Great concept, but this visit missed the mark…read more I really wanted to like this Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers location more than I did, because the concept is solid and, generally, Cane's food hits. But this visit? Frustrating from start to finish. First off, the setup is misleading. The inside looked empty, and even the drive-thru appeared manageable--until you actually commit. You have to drive deep into the parking lot just to see how long the line really is, and once you're in, there's no easy way out. So now you're stuck. Not ideal. Then comes the wait. About 10 minutes just to place an order, with aggressive drivers jockeying for position like it's a race. I get it--no one wants to sit in that line--but the flow (or lack of it) makes it worse. For a place with two lanes, the organization just isn't there. Service at the speaker? Rough. I felt rushed the entire time, struggled to hear over the noise, and kept getting hit with "I can't hear you, speak up" in a tone that felt more dismissive than helpful. No upsell, no real engagement--just hurry up and move along. To their credit, the pickup window redeemed things a little. Once I got there, the food was ready, and they even overdelivered on condiments (asked for two ketchups, got four). That part was efficient--but it came after a pretty long wait for only about seven cars ahead of me. Now, the food... This is where things really slipped. * The 4-piece tenders felt noticeably smaller--more like large nuggets than actual tenders * Fries were undercooked and skimpy for the price and I had to ask for ketchup * Sweet tea was mostly ice, barely any drink * Overall portions just didn't match the cost For a brand that usually delivers consistency, this felt off. Like corners were being cut. Final take: Started as a 3-star experience based on the process, but dropped to 2 stars once the food came into play. If I could split it, it'd be a 2.5--but Yelp doesn't do that. This place should be better. The foundation is there. But between the chaotic drive-thru, rushed service, and underwhelming portions, it's just not hitting right now. Hope they tighten things up--because Cane's can be really good when it's done right.
