I was so surprised it was not crowded like Canes because they were so delicious! Their chickens were so very well marinated with a light hint of cumin. I need their recipe! lol. Chickens were crispy outside and super tender inside with white meats, not overly salty or light - very well balanced taste. Their dipping sauce was tasty even after a day in the fridge. You can order inside or online and pick up. They have a pick up window right outside. Their fries were ok, tasted freshly made as well. The inside was clean and organized. They also have plenty of seatings outside. Staff here was so welcoming and friendly on a Saturday night! Parking - it was so tiny that I'm afraid to even drive in to park. Luckily when we came, it was not busy at all so we were able to park, go in and left without issues. I'd park in reverse next time so I can leave easily. read more

The service was so good!! Our cashier was Karina and she was so sweet and lovely. She was very attentive to both me and my boyfriend as well as the other costumers. The place was fairly clean, we went pretty late at night so there weren't that many employees and understandably there were some tables that hadn't been cleaned up, but they did end up cleaning them once they had the time. The food was okay, the chicken was juicy but the batter was/ seasoning was very salty. I got the Hot and my boyfriend got Mild. I thought the hot was okay but it did irritate my stomach more than expected. The mild was very very salty and we ended up not finishin it. First of all, the young employees when I visited last Friday for the first time ever were exceptionally polite!!! They should get 10 stars!! Such courtesy is hard to find. The chicken was delicious-- with huge portions and the mild seasoning was perfect. I deducted one star because I could not eat the slider w kale slaw on it. Separate would be ok, but not since it made the bun soggy. I was unaware of that when I ordered since I had never been to a Dave's before. Also, I had asked for cheese on fries..$1.50 upcharge. They have varying degrees of spiciness, and I always get the level 'Hot', which for me, is not too spicy but still has some decent kick. I always get the Slider + Tender combo which includes a Chik-Fil-A sized sandwich and pretty big chicken tender along with some crispy french fries, sliced pickles, a piece of toast, and dipping sauce. I usually purchase a side of Mac and cheese on the side to go with the combo. All of this came out to $18.00 flat when I ate here a day ago. Everything tastes really good - from the fries to the mac and cheese, all the way to the chicken. I like how they season their fries and put coleslaw in the slider to help cut into all that chicken grease. Everything has a ton of flavor and it definitely hits the spot when you got that craving for some really flavorful, greasy, fried chicken goodness. I used to work for a fast food chain and name tags were REQUIRED to be worn at all times when working. These fast food workers are getting lazy 15 minutes before closing time and they don't care.
