I don't normally eat fast food but this is a new place and my kids were excited to try it and it is totally worth the hype. The people are great. The food is better than I've seen as fast food. It's blow your mind good.!!! Welp.... sort of.... got home to the "sliders" being less than half hearted there was shredded sliced bread at the bottom so I paid 20 extra dollars for sliders as got chicken tenders with cheese melted on them and a disgusting pile of wasted bread Chicken itself was delicious. But the family meal left a lot to be desired!

Last week, we decided to turn our date night into something special with dinner at this Turkish gem followed by a Broadway musical, Newsies, at the Flynn Center. We made a reservation in advance, as this spot is quite popular in the evenings - especially when there's a play happening nearby. The ambiance was inviting and warm, with soft lighting and traditional Turkish decor creating a perfect setting for a romantic evening. The service was exceptional, and our server, Alexandra B., made the experience even more memorable with his attentiveness and friendly demeanor. We started with the Small Meze Platter ($16.99), an excellent choice for sharing. The platter featured haydari, hummus, babaganoush, Turkish salsa, and stuffed grape leaves, all served with soft lavash bread. For those seeking a gluten-free option, fresh-cut veggie sticks are available. Each dip and spread was bursting with flavor, making this a must-try appetizer. For the main course, I chose from the Earthenware Casseroles and ordered the Lamb Guvec ($27.99). The tender, marinated lamb pieces combined with tomato, mushroom, onion, pepper, and eggplant were served sizzling hot, and the aroma alone was irresistible. It was hearty, flavorful, and paired perfectly with the recommended 9oz glass of Vinkara red wine ($16.50). My wife selected the Chicken Adana Kebab ($22.99) from the Traditional Kebabs menu. The mildly spicy, hand-ground chicken seasoned with Turkish maraş pepper and parsley was grilled to perfection and served with Turkish rice pilav, a side of greens, house pickled red cabbage, and marinated onions. She enjoyed every bite and complemented her meal with a 9oz glass of Ancyra white wine ($16.50), which was light and refreshing. To close the evening, we indulged in a classic Turkish dessert, Baklava ($9.99). The layers of fresh phyllo, walnuts, and crushed pistachios, finished with a simple syrup, were the perfect sweet ending to our meal. Istanbul Kebab House continues to impress with its excellent food, cozy ambiance, and impeccable service. Whether it's a casual dinner or a special occasion, this restaurant is a must-visit in Burlington. We'll definitely be back again!

We ordered dinner takeout this time, and everything from the service to the flavors was truly top-notch. We ordered from The Classic Somali Dish menu. I had the Somali Rice with Goat Meat, which was incredibly flavorful. The rice was perfectly seasoned and aromatic, and the goat was tender, well-cooked, and beautifully spiced. My wife had the Coconut Chicken Stew with Rice, and she couldn't stop talking about how delicious and comforting it was -- the coconut sauce added a rich, creamy touch that paired so well with the perfectly cooked chicken and rice. We also shared two beef samosas, which were crispy, savory, and packed with flavorful filling. They were the perfect appetizer to start our meal. The service was friendly, prompt, and welcoming, just like the first time we visited. Even though we ordered takeout, the staff made us feel valued and took great care to package everything carefully to keep it fresh and warm. The ambiance of Kismayo Kitchen is always warm and inviting. Even though we didn't dine in this time, you can still feel the vibrant, welcoming atmosphere when you walk up to place your order. Kismayo Kitchen continues to impress with its authentic flavors, generous portions, and wonderful service. It's quickly becoming one of our favorite go-to spots for Somali cuisine.

We decided to try Indian Grill--and honestly, from the outside, you would never guess that this is a fine restaurant with great food and excellent service! We ordered dahi gappe, pakoras, the Desi Thai curry that was recommended to us, a chicken curry, samosas, rice, and tandoori roti. Quite a spread! The dahi gappe were the real standout for me. They came with their own little cup of sweet yogurt, which reminded me a bit of lassi, while the crispy homemade gappe were filled with chana and potato. I've had my fair share of gappe, and these were simply exquisite. So many flavors and textures at once--the sweet, tangy, spicy, creamy and, of course, that fantastic crunch. Delicious! The rice was also spot on. Long-grain, perfectly cooked, with each grain holding its own. None of that mushy, stew-like or oatmeal texture--just how rice should be--and the flavor was right where it needed to be. Both chicken dishes were tender and flavorful, with the meat pairing really well with both the coconut-based yellow sauce and the richer red sauce. The samosas had their own distinct character, more in line with the Indian-style samosas than the Pakistani version I'm more accustomed to. Different, but very good! The ambiance was calm and inviting, and the interior was surprisingly nice. But what really topped everything off was the kindness and attentiveness of the staff. Their recommendations were spot on, and they clearly knew their menu. If I have to be picky, the music could have been a little quieter. In a restaurant like this, I prefer music at true background volume so you can focus on the food and conversation. But that's a very minor point and certainly didn't take away from the experience. We'll definitely stop by again whenever we're in the area. A great find in Plattsburgh

The Chicken Vindaloo was so flavorful and the spice level was perfect. The sauce had a nice viscosity and the chicken was nice big pieces. Though they were tender, they were a little dry, and the rice was a little plain. As for the garlic Naan, is was soft and came with 3 unique sauces. Each were different but were fresh and added incredible uniqueness to the meal. I especially liked the green sauce and the pink pickled peppers. The whole dinner provided two meals. As for service, the person at the door was very warm and helpful with the menu. The inside of the resturant was very welcoming. Next time I'm in town, I look forward to trying their buffet. All of the food looked wonderful.

What a stunning experience after a long bike ride!…read more After spending the day biking, this place was exactly the kind of place I wanted to end up. The moment we walked in, we were greeted immediately and seated, and the service was wonderful from beginning to end. Our waitstaff was pleasant, attentive, and made the whole experience feel welcoming without being overbearing. We started with hummus and some lamb, and then I ordered the chicken kebab entrée. Now, let me be very clear: I am NOT a chicken eater. But this chicken was so phenomenal that I told my friend the only way I would want to eat chicken again is if it's prepared and seasoned exactly the way this was. It was THAT good. The portion size was generous but still thoughtful. I really appreciated that because by the end of the meal, I was completely full--and honestly, I'm glad my plate wasn't overloaded with food just for the sake of having a huge portion. Everything felt intentional. The greens and onions that came with my meal were fresh, nicely prepared, and seasoned well. Nothing on the plate felt like an afterthought. I also ordered a drink that reminded me of a Shirley Temple, and it was really good, refreshing and exactly what I needed after being out biking. One of my favorite details about the restaurant was the open kitchen. Depending on where you're seated, you can see the chefs working, which adds another layer to the experience. I love being able to see the people preparing the food I'm eating. It makes the meal feel more connected and gives you an appreciation for the work happening behind the scenes. Between the food, service, atmosphere, open kitchen, and generous portions, Kismet really delivered. I left full, satisfied, and already thinking about what I would order next time. I'm absolutely looking forward to coming back!
