From disbelief to disbelief. What a difference a day makes! While playing catch in the ocean yesterday, my wedding ring slipped off my finger in shoulder deep water. The feeling of looking down at my ringless finger the moment it happened was one of utter hopelessness. Gone. Simply gone. How could we possibly ever find it?!? I was at Marriot's Maui Ocean Beach property having a swim and I forgot to remove it before I went out because it comes off easy when my hands get wet.
