Hmmm...I have mixed feelings about this place. I usually visit my favorite bartender on Sunday mornings. I decided to pop in on a Friday evening for my usual glass of champagne. Bartender told me they've never carried champagne. Really? That's odd! That's my usual, I responded. I asked if maybe she was out or if there were some in the back cooler (I saw my Sunday favorite get some from back there) and she told me "we don't have that" ...WITH AN ATTITUDE. No reason for the attitude, missy. I wasn't being difficult, if anything I was more curious to see if maybe the stopped carrying it altogether. I decided on Jager and a bottle of bud. She served me and my husband and then ignored us. I had to flag her down every time I needed a drink. The bar isn't THAT big, so it was pretty obvious she was ignoring us on purpose. The bar itself is cool. Debit card juke, happy hour, pool tables, darts, shuffle board, the restrooms are pretty clean and the fellow patrons are friendly. I really like the bartender on Sunday morning. She always gives us excellent service. She takes the time to talk to us and I really like that. read more

How have I never reviewed this place before? It's close by so I do come here. Like once a month I show up. It has that great dimly lit dive bar feel. You know you could get laid if you wanted to. The drinks are cheap and the bartenders are cool. I like the people most.... you get such a fun variety the normal alcoholics, people in their work clothes, people hoping not to run into anyone they know, and plenty of stoners. Being a semi attractive girl the mostly male patrons treat you like you are family.... the creepy kind they want to kiss... but still family. You can be relaxed and grab a few beers or get good and drunk either way you will fit fit in just fine. It's worth a trip and when the drunk people get kicked out of Santisi Brothers they walk to the other side if the parking lot and come here. If nothing else grab a beer and watch the people that come here. Also I might note that they only have 1 stall for women but there is often no line and MOST the time it does not smell like farts and coochie. read more

A bar within walking distance (albeit a bit of a long walk) is a very happy time! Their beer selection is pretty ho' hum and the big screen projection screen TV has seen better days, but the clientele and pitcher prices are second to none. When it comes to entertainment during your intoxicated adventure they got you covered. Pool, darts, jukebox (The internet kind, nice!), FREE shuffleboard (Unless you really need a machine keeping track of your points.), and golden tee/buck hunter style arcade games are all at your disposal. I've spent many a long night at Dave's and will continue to do so, not just because of the proximity, the prices or the games, but the atmosphere and interesting individuals you're inevitably going to run into. read more

Great little neighborhood, divey bar with good drink specialls and free shuffleboard. They also have some pool tables. No outside seating but you can smoke in the back parking lot or outside the front door. Lots of parking available. Beer selection is not great but the staff is friendly and the service is good. One of my favorite places to bring a group for a shuffleboard "tournament". read more

Daves is a great little dive bar. The bar staff is friendly but also willing to give you a wise ass when it's appropriate. The prices are always reasonable and you will never complain about a weak cocktail. read more

What a great little dive bar! This place is really cool for a small little dive bar. The staff here are awesome! I love the atmosphere here. The place is located just north of bell rd on 28th ave. The drinks are really cheap here, which is always a cool thing. haha I came here on a sunday afternoon to watch football. The place has plenty of televisions if you like watching sports. I went to Dave's Place on Saturday with my boyfriend and my parents looking to have a good time. The minute we walked in, the bartender (female with black hair) was beyond rude. It was the worst service I have ever had. She was snippy with all of us, would barely look in the fridge to see what type of White Claws there were, asked for our ID's in the most rude way, wouldn't give us quarters in exchange for a dollar bill to play shuffleboard because "it didn't work"- a customer ended up helping my mom and gave her quarters and would barely look at us the entire time we were there. Turns out, she doesn't like my dad. BOO HOO. It is still a business and we are still the customers. My dad has been going to this bar for 15+ years. It is a shame we were treated like this as a family because "she doesn't like him". She would also smoke her e-cig behind the bar every 2 minutes- that was more of a priority than serving her guests. I will never go back to this establishment. Worst service I have ever ever ever had which is a shame as my dad loves this family owned local bar and loves the owners. I hope no one else is treated as such as it was the most uncomfortable bar experience we have had. The bartender's name was JESSICA. Luckily, we found out this bartender is just a fill in. Thank god. Terrible service as soon as my boyfriend, his friend & I walked in The young women who were working the bar were very rude & had no interest in serving us. She had a very bad attitude no matter how kind we were. We were very displeased with the service at Dave's. Stay away unless you like bad & rude service. read more

My favorite divey bar to play darts. Not too crowded, reasonably clean and cheap drinks. Service can be VERY hit or miss, but that's to be expected. Good place for a cheap pitcher of beer after work. read more

Well, here's an update: I got a chance to go to Dave's last September (Sept. 2015). It was after 7pm. It was okay, but very dark in there. Not enough lighting. And of course, everyone was brand new. I didn't know anyone anymore. Still had a good time, for the 1 hour I was there, but it's different of course...Oh well...I guess everything changes with the times... read more

First off lets be clear that this is a dive bar, but a good one. I have a gone a couple Friday nights and here have been the experiences so far. If you leave your stuff on a table, it might disappear. I lost a few things here which makes me overly cautious in this place where I may not be as much elsewhere. It is LOUD on Friday night. Do not take your humans that have issues with loud noise. The drinks are STRONG. The pricing is reasonable. Its not dirt cheap but you're also not looking at 8 dollar drinks. The karaoke host is great, very social and remembers patrons. The staff is generally on point, I do feel like I'm bothering them but I think its just because they're slammed. They do a good job though. There are other spots I've waited WAY longer for a drink. The entire place is well maintained, including the darts, pool tables and really all their stuff is in good condition. The patrons are generally pretty friends and its a good atmosphere. Great neighborhood spot. I'll be back. read more

Sadly after ten minutes of being ignored, we left. There were three bartenders behind the bar and two were busy chatting it up with customers, but we sat at a table right behind the bar. Maybe that was our fail. But there was a really cool tricked out Harley parked out front. read more

First and last time going here. The service is horrible. I had to clear a table, wait in line for a towel to wipe the table down just so we could sit. They had no servers on a Saturday. We had to stand at the bar to order. The music was way too loud. Then a dj came in and they were playing the juke box and mixed at the same time. It was a mess. There was a used condom under my chair. After an hour with 6 people, we had several empty glasses and bottles. I had to clear our table. Not a thank you from the bartender, but "what do you need".
