Before leaving a review, I tried multiple times to understand the charge because it seemed unusually high. I called four times, as well as the day I dropped the dress off, and also stopped in person hoping to speak with the tailor or owner. I wanted to make sure there wasn't a misunderstanding or error before posting a negative review, but I was never able to get a clear explanation of the pricing. Afterward, I spoke with other local tailors and showed them the dress. Based on their feedback, the cost I was charged was significantly higher than expected. If there was a reason for the pricing, I would have appreciated the opportunity to have it explained. They have always been convenient for dry cleaning, and I've had positive experiences with that service. However, I would strongly recommend that anyone considering alterations ask for a detailed quote upfront and make sure they clearly understand the pricing before leaving their garment.

I put on my suits one by one and she measured and made her "marks." I left 2 suits with her and let the magic begin. I came a couple weeks later (as I requested) as I was in no rush. Just as promised Susie had them ready to try on. I put each suit on and I could tell how pleased and proud she was with her work. AS WAS I !! Instead of the "Other Stores" trying to sell me new suits, Susie made these come back to life. I can't tell you if it was expensive or not as it doesn't matter. When you receive the wonderful care and service like this AND you don't have to buy 2 new suits... it is priceless in my mind. It turns out....all the local buzz is true. Fairly decent prices with a pretty quick turn around, I handed in my two suits and shirt on a Tuesday and they were pressed and cleaned by Friday. Starch options are available (which, of course, I opted out of), and the place accepts tap-to-pay. I imagine that means I could have used Apple Pay, but the guy had the POS thingie facing him. And since I don't usually feel comfortable handing strangers my phone, I settled for just using my CashApp card. By the way, the guy who runs the place seems nice. We didn't exchange many words, but he seems approachable enough. If I ever need alterations done, I will more than likely return here. Locating them the first time was a bit weird. Because it's like...the entrance to the parking lot they're in is...recessed (?) a bit. Dunno if I'm explaining this right. But unless you've been here before, it takes some getting used to. Overall, this is the dry cleaners I'd recommend to most Nashua folks. And they really do have....the Magic Touch (I'm here all week)!
