Lately I have been trying to find a nail place close to home that has good service, this one always seems busy so I figured I'd give them a shot. I made an apt for myself and my friend at 1. One for a gel fill and my soak off and new gel Polish. When we get there the lady at the front tells my friend (fill) to go have a seat and that I'm allowed to sit with her. I figure that everyone is busy but I'd get helped in a lil bit.. yeah, nope. At 140 (and they took a walk in) finally they had someone start soaking my nails. The lady that was doing mine literally was working on 3 ppl. Everyone there was sick, either coughing/ sneezing/ or one tech brought the other some pepto. When my friends nails were done.. they look horrible! The nail tech trimmed them and then when he did the coating after he put only clear (had clear and white tips) so the ends were clear after the tips, lots of bubbles, when we asked if he could make sure there wasn't any. On mine, i got blue with sliver tips, both of the thumbs slant to the side on the tips and even with an apt at 1, i didn't get out until after 3.. I won't go back. read more

So happy I decided to go in today! I feel bad for not getting the guys name who did my nails, but he was a bigger gentleman and he was a total sweetheart! The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because my nails aren't exactly what I asked for--he wouldn't make them as short as I wanted them no matter how many times I asked--but that's not even a big deal because I filed them myself. I'm giving them one star because I can't give them zero stars. The technician I had did a horrible job....she didn't cut my cuticles though she claimed she did....I asked at the front desk do you cut cuticles as mine grow out quickly....she assured me they do....I had her do gel polish which was horrid as the gel polish was on my skin....there were brush strokes visible.....and areas were one could see through....I removed the gel polish at home and will wait until the 15th when Mochi's open up. And yes I told her it was horrible...they didn't care. read more

A friend and I went here to get our nails done this past weekend. She was fortunate enough to have Lisa do her nails (we just love her!). I was getting a pedicure, so I had someone else doing my feet and nails. This was the second time I had been there. I usually do my own nails, but wanted to treat my friend and I. My feet can tend to get dry, so I knew it may have taken a little "love and care". The woman who did my pedicure was very rough on my toes. When she was clipping one of my nails, she cut me. I, of course, said "ouch", but she didn't even apologize. When it came time to pay, she was very rude after I told her the tip I wanted to leave. Our total bill was $70, so I tipped $10. I didn't feel like I should have tipped more because she was so rough. When I looked at my feet at home later, I noticed another cut on my big toe and several dry spots she didn't remove. I will not let her do my pedicure again. If I had caught her name, I would put it in this review. Beware of who does your pedicures at this location. read more

WORST PEDICURE EVER! The guy who did my pedicure was unkempt, greasy hair and long, dirty nails. He even scratched his head with one of the instruments he was about to use on me, and made an annoyed face when I asked for a clean one instead. He didn't remove the dead cuticle skin around my toenails, painted onto some of my toes and left white space on the nails of others. He ran his finger over my big toenail and then tried to "fix" it with acetone, which only made it worse. He was rude and when he finished, just got up and walked away without a word. I give it one star because there is no option for no stars. Others have had good experiences, so maybe it is just him. But BEWARE!!! read more

Lisa has been doing my nails for six years. When she moved to Davi Nails at vista knolls i was excited because i recently moved to neighborhood. I wouldnt have anyone else do my nails. She is amazing. I will never go anywhere else. The atmosphere is relaxing and enjoyable as much as it is fun! Had a wonderful experience and it was my first time going there. Was assisted immediately. The woman ensured that I was comfortable and that I wasn't in pain when taking off a previous manicure. She also followed all my wishes with length, shape, and thickness of the nail. She also added a wonderful flower design. My nails aren't crooked or uneven. She applied the polish beautifully without any traces on my skin. Definitely a great experience and will go back again!! read more

TERRIBLE. Needed a pedicure last minute and couldn't get in anywhere else. Naturally I talked myself into this place thinking, "how bad could it be?!" It was horrible. From the minute I walked up I felt rushed and uncomfortable. They had me take a seat in the chair at the end and left me soaking in cold water for what felt like 30 minutes. I should have gotten up and left. Then they got into a fight (out loud and in front of everyone) about who was going to do my pedi- making me feel so awkward, like a burden... and I'm paying for this?! Then once the guy was finally forced to do my pedi he put head phones in, completely ignoring me. Ha! He barely scrubbed my feet, the massage never happened, and he never asked what color I wanted. Instead assumed and started applying whatever what left at the station prior. The lady who appeared to be running the show began yelling at him (in a foreign language) again and he looked up and decided to fill me in. Ha! Told me she thought he was taking too long.. I didn't know what to say. He then proceeded to paint my toe (not just nail) with gel and let me go. By getting it on my cuticles and skin it all ended up coming off the next day. I felt so guilty paying the $45-50 at the end as in no way was my service worth it. I realize I should have and could have avoided this situation from the very get go had I just paid attention to the red flags. I guess in the moment it's just not that easy. So for anyone considering this place as a last minute resort or whatever your situation might be... don't! Save your money! I would have rather gone without a pedicure than give someone $45-50 and leave worse than I came in! read more

I called and made an appointment, this was great seeing as they got me in 15 minutes early. The nail tech was kind about my indecisiveness. The moment they saw the waiting area fill, it was a race to the next costumer. I went in for a full acrylic set and instead received a botched nail job I now have to take the time to fix at another salon. She did a horrible job filing and shaping my nails. More than one nail is crooked and all of them are wide and unflattering. Not to mention, it already looks like I need a fill. She took the time to drill my cuticles, which just tore apart my skin. The paint job is a disaster as well. It's full of air bubbles and I can hardly stand to look at my hands for too long. I expected to walk out satisfied and ready for the day. Now I'm ashamed to have my nails in plain view. I'm most definitely not coming back to this salon. With the amount of time she took im shocked she couldn't put a little more effort into her work. read more

This was my first time to this nail salon. Employees seemed polite at first. The first thing I noticed was the condition of the shop honestly it is the dirtiest shop I've personally ever been into. The floors were dirty all the chairs including the spa chairs were dirty. I've never been nervous about getting a service done until today... My manicure and pedicure were ok. Not great but not horrible. I won't return. I can get the same service else where for the same price in a clean shop. Sad because I just moved to this area. read more

I noticed this place doesn't get very good reviews, but I have no idea how the other ladies are, so my review is for Shan. I had the worst experience here. I went for a mani and pedi and the lady who did my nails used gel polish like it was regular fingernail polish. I didn't ask for gel and she didn't put the clear coat on. My nails looked runny and horrible. There was polish all over my skin. Before she clipped my fingernails, she shook out the cloth on the table in front of me and flung fingernails all over my shirt...but they weren't even my nails!!! The place was dirty. You get what you pay for....but $60 should have bought me more than what I got. read more

Ok , not trying to be mean , I waited at the desk and was ignored for 10 min finally a large Asian guy walked slowly over and said what do you need, I need a fill, he pointed and said go sit over there. He came and sat across from me took 10 min to get his crap together and seemed like he was trying to figure out what to do next! I live in the North Valleys, so going to Da Vi is convenient for me since it's on my way home. Unfortunately, I don't think I will be going here anymore. When I first started getting my nails done, Sylvia was working as a nail tech and she was AMAZING. She was efficient and talented, and she always accommodated my requests. She ended up moving away, but I still continued to go. This salon is basically like any other Da Vi. You get seated basically as soon as you walk in, but someone doesn't start actually working on your nails for about 10 minutes. Usually they have one tech file your nails, then another does some more filing, then another will actually come sit down and begin your fill. No big deal. The last time I went, however, completely changed how I feel about the salon. I arrived around 12:30 with plans to meet with my boyfriend afterwards at 2. Plenty of time for a fill, right? Wrong. The nail tech took literally 20 minutes to file the color off my nails, another 10 minutes to shape my nails, another 10 minutes for more filing, and then an hour and a half to actually fill my nails and polish them! He was SOOO slow. I didn't mention anything to him because I don't like confrontation, and I figured since he was taking so long they were going to look spectacular. Wrong again. He didn't file my nails down short enough, even after I asked him to go shorter multiple times. He didn't trim my cuticles, but he did push them back WITH HIS OWN FINGERNAIL. At this point I was done. My nails started lifting in a matter of three days. The employees working here are all wonderful and nice, but they just don't have very good quality in they're work. I've been here a few times and liked their services, but this last time I went was not so good. I hate leaving negative reviews, but I felt like I had to leave this one. I went in for a fill and as soon as I get there they seat me (like every other time ) I showed the nail tech a picture and they said they could do it. I was excited to try something different. So NT begins to do my nails about 30 minutes into it I noticed the NT was acting a little off (staring at my nails for a few seconds), NT starts filing and again stops and stares, did I just hear them snore?? Yes ma'am I did. My NT was falling asleep!!!! Since they were half way through the service I didn't say anything. I decided to just get the fill and skip the cure nail art that I wanted . Maybe the NT was having a bad day, but they should've just stayed home. The fill was just awful and I didn't notice until they started lifting 3 days later. read more

If I could give no stars I would. I went to get my nails done here the first time and I waited for an hour. The nails turned out nice. Came back again to get a fill and waited two hours I was not happy. Got my nails done and not at all what I wanted Lisa did not listen to anything o said. The next day my nails started to chip so I went back. Lisa was nor there and some guy looked at my nails and was like you bite them. Wtf I have been getting my nails done for 14 years I don't freaking bite my nails. So he told me to sit and they would fix them. This lady sat sat and started to rip off my nails. She made me bleed twice and to stop the bleeding she glues a paper towel to my finger. At this point I want her to stop but can't cuz she only has half my nails on. She finally finished my nails and they were horrible. All different lengths and dips and just all messed up My daughter could do better. I said this is so bad I'm not paying and they still made me pay $20. This place should be shut down and everyone should loose there licenses.
