OUTSTANDING SERVICE!!! I LIVE ABOUT 45min away, and stopped here, when I was visiting my sister! I will be back!

Came to Walmart and while leaving decided to get a pedicure. Big mistake. I had a flight to catch and asked how long it'd take. They said someone was on their way. Waited 20 mins which wasn't an issue. I got the shellac pedicure which the nail color was selected by the technician. I was fine with it. This was on Monday. On Wednesday, I look down at my toes and see that the shellac polish on two toes had completely come off. It did not chip, the nail was completely bare, like nothing was ever there. So here I am back on Thursday morning. The lady who did my pedicure and painted my nail is here and denies she did my pedicure. The person attending to me is extremely rude and aggressive with my feet and yelling. She's asking what color I did (remember the nail technician chose the color plus who goes around remembering 3-4 digit numbers of shellac colors). I definitely will not be returning here. I'm giving this store a one only to leave a review because they absolutely deserve a zero, really they shouldn't be in business. As a consumer, we value great customer service and professional attention while getting excellent quality work for our hard earned dollars. My experience with Davi nails has been a very negative experience since day one. They are unprofessional, negative energy, specifically in Tina. She talks rude about the customers to her husband and even to customers. She said today, it wasn't their problem a customers nail broke and they dont care about that, joking towards me but I found no sense of humor in talking crap about a customer, we are the reason they are in business. I've gotten my nails done approximately 4 or 5 times since the mall (Elite nails) love Thai was closed due to the tornado. With pleasure to say, today (10/6/19) was officially my last day. Tina did such a tacky job on my nails that I want to cry each and every time I look at them. I am being forced to have them corrected or I'll lose my insanity because I'm very articulate about my nails. SAve yourself time and money. Yes, they are cheaper, you absolutely do get what you pay for. Tina, with all that negative energy causing bad experiences with customers and it shows in your work, you will lose more clients if you don't fix that. Start off by greeting your customers, and not making them fee like a burden. Small steps matter. read more

I went in for a shellac (gel polish) manicure this afternoon. I was greeted several minutes after sitting down and asked what service I needed; I was then asked to come over to a station where I was met by a young man who said nothing. He performed my manicure and then polish and it's one of the worst shellac services I've ever had. All of my nails are lumpy and polish is caked on and it looks horrible. Highly disappointed in my visit today. The nail tech from the beginning was extremely rude. She disregarded my wants and pretty much did what SHE wanted. She cut my nails way too short, cut my cuticles to the point they were bleeding, and did a terrible paint job leaving my nails super short and thick. She also used the same gloves on me she did another client and when I asked her to change, she ignored me. This is by far the ugliest set I got before and I get my nails done a lot. I don't usually leave reviews but felt like others needed to be warned about her. She clearly doesn't like her job and is unhappy. I'm such a nice person and easy going, not sure why she made my experience so terrible when it's suppose to be the one thing nice I do for myself each month. Will not be back, telling others about my experience, AND I'm reporting her to the board about her safety practices. read more

0/10 recommend coming to this nail salon for even the most basic manicure. I was charged extra for gel polish and not even a week later they're peeling off entirely. They did not cut my cuticles and its obvious. Not to mention they were kind of rude. I also got a pedicure, which was slightly better than the manicure but still full of issues like toe nails being uneven and sharp. Absolutely irritated with the service i received. I'm out $70 and have to go get my nails redone. read more

This was my first time visiting DAVI NAILS. I read the reviews and realized it was super close and convenient to my home. Chrissy was highly raved on the reviews and I 100% AGREE ....SHE IS PHENOMENAL!!!!! My husband made my appointment and the rest is history. I was in a crunch...my guy went out of town and I was in a pinch. Not only did Chrissy schedule me for my appointment but she made my day! My nails are absolutely gorgeous, she is such an artist an her free lance nails design will blow you away. She even remembered after 1 appointment an important event and called me to check on us. I took my 14 year old daughter in for a regular manicure and eyebrow wax the day before school started. We selected a regular OPI polish and I told the technician what we wanted and she took her back to the chair. While she was receiving the services, I did my shopping in the store. When my Daughter was finished and I went to pay, the tech advised that she had changed her to shellac polish. I was annoyed as I had specifically requested a regular manicure and shellac requires the tops of the the nails to be roughed up which damages the nail. Beyond that, the technician actually took skin off on my daughters brow area (both sides) and when she went to school the next day her skin was blotchy and her brow area was still bright red and inflamed. read more

My regular nail salon was closed on the 13th and 14th of this month. So I decided to go to the salon in Walmart. I will NEVER go there again. My nails look horrible. I got to the salon table at 10:00am and by 10:10am I was sitting at the dryer. NOT enough time for a quality nail job. Plus one person started my nails and then handed me over to someone else to finish. Like am I not important enough for you to finish the job you started. The first time I came in I loved my nails were perfect and the price was awesome she only charged me 35 for a complete set for gel paint and everything. The second time was terrible I went in for a fill which is 16 dollars so I was guessing with gel altogether it would be about 20 to 25 which wasnt a problem. When she went to take my old nail polish off she didnt use nail polish remover she used her nail sander which lead to her drawing blood on my pinkie because she was going too fast with the tool. Then she asked if I wanted them shorter and I told her no and she proceeded to make them shorter anyway !!! And since she used her sanding tool to take off my old nail polish it made my nails really thin. Then when we go to pay she charged my husband 38.00!!! And when asked why it was so much she said it was the paint that made it cost so much . Needless to say don't ever go here. And might I add she also likes to watch soap operas on her phone while she is doing your nails also !!! read more

Good prices! Even took my 3 girls- $5 for kids! Love it!5 pedicure chairs. We filled 4. The girls love it. Got their toes and hands done for $5 each. So $10 per kid. Not bad for a little sanity with them! Got my toes don't for &20 and eyebrows waxed for $6. Can't beat it! read more

Do NOT get eyelashes extensions here!!! Initially I saw the sign says $30 eyelashes extensions and decided to give it a try. Then was told it was for cluster lashes which you can put on yourself. So I waited for another 25 mins for someone supposedly knows how to do individual lashes to show up. She worked on it for over an hour. The end result looks like I had my lashes done three weeks ago!! It's bare, the glues are visible on my eyelids, and I now am having a hard time to sleep due to the positions of the lashes were placed. Paid $80 for extremely unhappy result. Went to get my eyebrows waxed and the lady who did them did and absolutely horrible job! It was shapeless and looked worse than when I came in! I almost cried. I walked to my car thinking I can manage it and just let it grow out but when I looked at it again in the car, I just couldn't deal with it. So I walked back in to have someone fix it. I knew it would have to be a little thinner than I usually like my brows but it needed to be fixed. Holly did a fantastic job fixing it and that was a huge relief! She fixed it and told me to not let anyone touch the top when next I get it done (indirectly admitting that lady 1 screwed it up and I need to give it time to grow properly). Overall, I ended up with slightly thinner brows and an injury. I'm not sure if it was from the first person or the second person I just remember walking out with my area under my right eyebrows feeling sore. I don't know yet if I'll be coming back. If I do, the only person I can have touch my eyebrows is Holly. The only reason I'm giving it 2 stars and not 1 is because someone was able to satisfactorily fix the problem! I can't decide if I wanna give this place a 2 or 3 stars so I have it 3. Probs worth a 2.5. I'm a young adult and I like my nails cute and affordable. Well they are definitely cute but $40 cute. I went for a refill which was listed as $25 and it went up to that... My lady payed good attention to detail but she cut me 3 times. OW. One is really bad too. The thing that irked me the most was because I'm a bit of a germaphobe. One of the ladies in the back was wiping all of their nail tools in the back with a rag and re-packaging them in a sealed envelope - like to reuse. That is not practicing good cleanliness, and makes for easy transfer of disease especially some that could be life threatening. Needless to say I won't be going back. They are pretty but not worth the price I could pay - my health. Not compromising on cleanliness any time soon. read more

I am super picky and high maintenance. None of my friends would believe I go to Walmart to get my nails done. The price is very reasonable, service excellent, color selection VAST and quality second to none. And, it lasts. Vee does my eyebrows, eyelashes and pedicures. Holly, Michelle and I think Kaitlyn (sits by the wall), have done my nails. I moved from Richmond, but after trying 3 different places to no avail, I found myself driving the 40+ min to get my nails done here. read more

I have been to several nail salons and always assumed that if it is in Wal Mart, it is not good. However, I had to get out there to pick up my contact lenses, and happened to break a nail at work. I called and found out that they are open until 7:30 PM so I made an appointment to get that nail fixed (since the spa I have been frequenting does not stay open that late) and I thought that I would get a pedicure while I was there as well. I was very reluctant, just because of the fact that I really do not care for Wal Mart. But, I am so glad that I did. The ladies were very friendly and willing to help me pick colors out for my nails and toes. We had nice conversation. The salon is not overwhelming with music that I don't care for (as many are). There was the news on TV and it was really quiet. I am truly happy that I broke a nail today, or I would have not ever thought to try them because I never go to Wal Mart. But now, I will be spending more time there. I will drive past several salons just to go back here. I am in love with this place! They have an orange pedicure with slices of oranges floating around, a milk and honey pedicure, and about five or six other options. They have a large selection of gel color, shellac, powder colors and regular nail polish. I ended up getting my set soaked off, a new set with pink glitter powder that is beautiful and a spa pedicure. They run great specials. For everything I got, I paid less than I was paying at my old salon for a refill and pedicure. Highly recommended by a picky person! read more

I am new to Houston and I was looking for a nail salon. I couldn't find one that I was pleased with. I take my dog to be groomed near Walmart so I decided to try Davi nails. Let me first say that the salon is spotless. I had the good fortune to meet Christy. She was patient while I explained how I wanted my nails done. She also chose a nail technician for my pedicure. I can't say enough about her. She always has a warm smile and genuinely happy to see me. She does a fantastic job on my nails. She will always let me know if there are any new colors that I may like. This was my first - and last - visit to this salon. I saw so many violations it wasn't even funny in terms of cleanliness. The staff was very pleasant, the atmosphere pleasant even though it's a small shop and was pretty crowded. But dirty. When I put my hand in the UV light to set the shellac, I had to take my hand back out. The inside of that thing felt dirty and sticky. The tools were not sterilized between customers. I saw the cuticle clippers that were used on me being used on the lady next to me. She just sat there and let them do it. As I said, nice people, but that doesn't negate the violations. read more
