This review is long overdue. Let me start off my saying that I have been a patient of Dr. Ahdoot's since 2001. He took care of my mother prior to me being a patient. Dr. Ahdoot has been in our family of doctors for over 20 years now. I am not an easy patient. I admit that. I second guess many things and often times I find myself trusting Dr. Google over a board certified OB/GYN. I don't know how Dr. Ahdoot has the patience for me...but...he does. Most physicians would not take the time to discuss the craziness that I bring to the table. He listens to me and then filters through my thoughts and spins his professional opinion on it. He follows up with me throughout his care. He gave me his cell phone number and said to call and text him anytime. That says a lot. I have had two successful pregnancies and deliveries under Dr. Ahdoot's care. My daughter was born August 2015 and my son was born November 2016. My back to back pregnancies were not easy but with Dr. Ahdoot by my side it made things very comfortable. My son was considered a high risk pregnancy because he was diagnosed with a Single Umbilical Artery (SUA) during my 20 week scan. 80% of the time SUA babies are born healthy as long as there are no other makers and the SUA remains isolated. The remainder of my pregnancy was not easy as my thoughts and worries took the best of me. I did not enjoy the second half of my pregnancy as all I did was worry about my baby. I called Dr. Ahdoot countless times throughout the weeks and he was nothing but comforting for me. I was adamant about having a vaginal delivery and he saw to it that I did even though there were a few complications that would have easily pointed to a cesarean. Every single request of mine was considered and carefully executed. He has a huge network of processionals that he referred me to when I needed reassurance. Not one of his colleagues charged me for the time spent with them when I needed reassurance. He is a man that is well respected in his community. Often times I would find people say "Anything for Dr. Ahdoot". He is truly the BEST in his field. I have Dr. Ahdoot to thank for my two beautiful babies. I am very lucky. Thank you, Dr. Ahdoot. In June of 2000 I was REFERRED to Dr. Ahdoot by another DOCTOR as my PAP was abnormal. This is where my journey of a miracle began in which I had no idea what was ahead of me. In 2000 I had high grade cancer cells in my cervix (hence abnormal PAP). I was living in London at the time and flew to Dr. Ahdoot to have an immediate LEAP procedure done that he did on Christmas Eve Day. I was blown away. It was all about what he needed to do for ME. I have never had a problem since thank you to him. I have had to have PAPS every 6 months for the last 13 years. He did such a great job during my procedure that nothing has ever come back. Then in 2003 I was trying to get pregnant. Dr Ahdoot started running some test and come to find I needed to have IVF! He was involved the entire way and never missed a beat. It was absolutely amazing. He delivered first baby. Then I did IVF again and got pregnant with twins and words can't explain the support again the entire way. I was a high risk pregnancy and had some complications along the way. I almost lost my twins early on. Thanks to him, he delivered my twins. Months after I called him because I thought I was pregnant. I went to the office and sure enough I was pregnant with my 4th child on my own (2007). I was once again a high risk pregnancy for many reasons. He again was absolutely amazing the entire way. He delivered my 4th baby. I then had my tubes tied by him and everything went perfect as usual with Dr. Ahdoot. He is very professional, his bedside manners are so unbelievable, how he cares for his patients is exceptional and the feeling he gives that you are in good hands is so refreshing. I had some pretty scary moments during the last 13 years and I trusted every word he said. I am here today to write about it. I highly recommend him to every woman. Because of this amazing doctor, I have 4 kids and I am alive today! I still see him every six months and bring all 4 of my miracles babies. Because of this incredible doctor I have them. Because of Dr. Ahdoot, I have a family. We fought all the odds together. Words will never be able to show my gratefulness and gratitude to him and his amazing staff. read more

I adore Dr. Ahdoot! I found him 2.5 years ago when I suspected I was pregnant with my first son based on his reviews online. Now 2 pregnancies and 2 baby boys later I still have nothing but positive things to say about him. The office staff is friendly and supportive. He has great bedside manners and makes me feel like he really cares. He always personally calls with test results and is very reassuring whenever I or my husband has had concerns. I have never had to wait more than 20 minutes to see the doctor and have been to MANY appointments at different times of the day and different days of the week. I even had a bit of a scare where I had strange symptoms at 34 weeks with my second pregnancy. I called the office, described my symptoms, the lady that answered the phone happened to be on the other line with the Dr. at that moment so she switched over told him what I was feeling and he told me to get to the hospital for monitoring and he'd meet me there. I ended up getting a shot to stop the contractions and hold of labor, it worked for a week, but we couldn't keep that baby in any longer and he ended up being born at 35 weeks. Dr. Ahdoot was very reassuring and comforting throughout the whole process and extra cautious to make sure that the best care was given to me and the baby. He even gave me his cell phone number and told me to call with any concerns. I had actually used it once and he answered right away, said he was glad I called because he wanted to see me before I checked out of the hospital but the hospital let me go without speaking to him. After I delivered my second son (early) he called me in the hospital the next day to make sure I was ok and to reassure me that even though my boy was in the NICU everything was going to be fine. He then came by later in the day to examine me again. Highly recommend him, and I'm saddened since I am no longer pregnant that I won't get to see him as often. read more

I've been Dr. Ahdoot's patient for years. Last year I had a challenging health issue that seemed impossible to solve. My fibroids caused me to bleed for 7 out of 8 weeks. I was so upset, drained and frustrated. It was terrible and even caused severe anemia and a lack of energy. Under Dr. Ahdoot's guidance I got an MRI and was able to find an adequate solution for my chronic fibroids. Some doctors have told my friends with fibroids to just do ultrasounds to see their fibroids. Dr. Ahdoot told me to have the MRI because that is the most accurate way to see the specimens in the uterus to assess the location and size of the fibroids, polyps, etc., and whether or not patients need surgery. I am very holistic and conservative when it comes to my health but my situation was dire and I chose to get the hysteroscopic myomectomy surgery. It was the best decision ever! Post-procedure Dr. Ahdoot also advised me on how to restore and increase my iron count so I could get back to normal and have energy again. Now I'm like night and day. I'm unstressed and I have cycles that aren't debilitating anymore. I feel so relieved after my fibroids caused these issues and horrible periods for almost 2 years. I couldn't go out and was basically bedridden once it started. Now I have to stop myself from exercising during my time of the month. Dr. Ahdoot's professional advice, regular monitoring of my growing fibroids over the years, and guidance greatly helped restore my quality of life. I am so grateful for that! read more

I am extremely thankful to come across Dr. Ahdoot. I found him listed on the internet and I needed to see a OBGYN immediately because I had a subchorionic hemorrhage. He took me in the same day I called and I am from the antelope valley and I didn't hesitate to see him in Burbank. Meeting Dr. Ahdoot that day put alot of concerns at ease and was very informative on what we needed to do to make sure my bundle of joy made it to my arms. Well I made it to 40 weeks and 3 days and my bundle of joy was born a healthy baby girl 8 pound and 14 oz and 20 inches long. I would choose him again and again for all my future babies because he cares so much about his patients and will see you on need to see basis not just monthly not others do just to make sure everything was going good. He wasn't covered by insurance and that didn't matter because the little love of my life in my belly was well worth every penny. I highly recommend him for anyone who is pregnant or wanting to concieve or just need a pap smear. When I was induced he not only delivered my baby but he came in the day i was induced to talk over the process and I had her the next day. He goes above and beyond for his patients and as a registered nurse not all OBGYNS are like him thats why i choose him. read more

I have to say that I've never met a doctor like Dr. Ahdoot! He is the most caring and kindest person I have ever met. He's a wonderful and amazing doctor with the most gentle bedside manner I've ever seen. He saw me through my pregnancy with my twins and it's because of him that my babies are healthy and weren't born at 32 weeks but at 36 weeks. He helped me stay in good spirits when I was in the hospital for 2 weeks when I went into preterm labor; and he called everyday and checked on me after I went home and was on bed rest. He even sent a massage therapist to our house to give me a pregnancy massage because he knew how uncomfortable i felt while I was on bed rest. There is nobody i would have trusted more with my unborn babies than Dr. Ahdoot! When I first met him i knew immediately that I and my babies would be in the best hands possible, and every appointment i had with him confirmed that again and again. His caring didn't stop after our twins were born, he still checks in to see if we're all doing fine, and that to me is just such an amazing thing. Dr Ahdoot has been my DR for three years. He has performed two successful procedures and put up with my extensive WebMD searches, anatomical self portraits, sarcasm, hardheadedness, and overall problematic female anatomy. Yes, he is quick and swift during office visits, but he is efficient. Who wants to prolong stirrup/big bright light/ poking and prodding time anyways? get in there and get out. When there's a need for sitting down and talking he takes the time to do it. He always returns calls. He has a demeanor that could tame a wild horse. If he isn't sincere in his concern for the wellbeing of his patients I think the man should stop being an OBGYN and head to Hollywood, because that is some good acting! His greatest talent is as a DR. His patience and love for what he does benefits all the ladies he serves. His office is pleasant and soothing. His office personnel are always smiling, kind and helpful. I only hope that my future perfect healthy intelligent and beautiful offspring come into this world under his watchful eye. I love Dr Ahdoot! After being told by FOUR other OB-GYN's that at 44 I was probably just in early menopause and to "buck up" (!!!) during hot flashes, pain and terrible mood swings, my personal general doctor called Dr Ahdoot who agreed to see me. The result: a fantastic hysterectomy, during which it turned out I had one of the WORST cases of endomitriosis he had ever seen. We're talking behind my uterus, all over other organs, etc - something that he knew had to be there even though you cou;dnt see it during an internal ultrasound. My fertility doctor made it worse by all the treatments I had received, yet said NOTHING. Yes, sometimes Dr Ahdoot is a little hard to follow when he's sorting out what is going on with you, but he is ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT and literally saved my marriage, my well-being, my career, everything. Trust what he says to you!! And yes, I did read the billing stuff on Yelp, and we have had trouble because our payments were bigger than we thought they would be (which we totally own it that we should have been more aware) but even still... MY LIFE IS RADICALLY CHANGED because he believed me - that I was in that much pain, that I was so in need of help, all of it. I have my life back!! read more

Dr. Ahdoot has been my gynecologist for almost four years now and his office takes the cake for easiest office to work with. Dr. Ahdoot is so knowledgable and I always feel like I can trust his advice on which route of care I should take as he has not led me wrong so far. I started seeing him as a patient for routine gynecological care but eventually he helped my husband and I with a good care path in conceiving our first baby and eventually delivering him. We were in such great hands through the whole process and Dr. Ahdoot delivered our healthy baby boy in November. I was always able to contact him after hours if I ever had any concerns and he always made me feel secure throughout my whole pregnancy. As overwhelming as the whole process could be, he always made me feel at ease. I delivered via c-section which I was always a little scared about but it turned out to be so easy in his hands and my recovery was surprisingly easy. Dr. Ahdoot is an amazing doctor with a very knowledgable staff and I always feel like going into his office is like going to a local place where everyone knows you. It doesn't feel like you're going to the doctor. I would highly recommend him and already have to family and friends. read more

Here is my long overdue review of Dr Ahdoot. I want to start by saying ALL of my visits with him were very pleasant, very detailed and never rushed. All the staff were excellent to deal with. I never waited more than 5-10mins before seeing the doctor and he was always available to take me in or talk on the phone when I needed him. Pretty awesome I was super pleased with him... Until my visit at 39 weeks!!! My due date was approaching and he was adamant that I have a c-section!! Kept scaring me about labor, telling me my baby is huge and that I would rip... Anyway I told him I didn't want a c-section if it isn't medically necessary! He said, verbatim: "that's ok we will play around with you a bit then we will cut you up". I was in so much shock!!! My sister happened to be with me at the appointment when we left i had to confirm with her that those were his words. I was in enraged and in disbelief!! Anyway I somehow managed to find another doctor 2 days before I delivered and I did deliver my baby WITHOUT having a c-section. Only 8 short hours of labor!! Point being: he's a great doctor if you want a c-section but if you don't well, he will just play around with you, then cut you up! read more

I can't say enough wonderful things about Dr Adhoot! He is brilliant and an extremely talented Doctor!!! I would like to think I have some experience with Obgyn's. My father was an OB, so I grew up around that environment my whole life. My Dad was brilliant, and a leader in his field, so I have had high expectations of other Doctors when compared to my Dad. Much to my disappointment, not many Doctors have lived up. When my wife and I started to think about getting pregnant, we started to search for an OB that would really take good care of us, listen to our questions, and really take my wife's special medical history into account. But above all, could we find someone who could be as good as my Dad? Doctor Adhoot is all of that and more. He exceeded my expectations and took amazing care of my wife during pre-pregnancy, pregnancy, C-section, and post care! As a husband, really trusting someone with the most special person in your life, and eventually our unborn child, is huge! Dr. Ahdoot is one of the best doctors I've ever had and that's so important as you're going through your first pregnancy! He was always available anytime I had a question on the phone or if I needed to make an appointment to see him (and I had plenty of first time questions!) Most importantly, I knew I was safe and in good hands. My labor and delivery turned out to be complicated and I needed an emergency c-section. Dr. Ahdoot was not on call, but he rushed in and performed the surgery as the on call doctor assisted. 6 weeks later I'm healing as I should with no problems and the incision is so minimal. I thought I might have nerve damage or at least numbness that would last awhile, but I've had no issues with either. I can even go back to yoga! Dr. Ahdoot also performed a circumcision on my son which has healed beautifully. He really is the doctor to see when it comes to bedside manner as well as a precise surgeon. Dr. Adhoot is an amazing doctor. I have been going to him for over 7 years now. He has performed 2 of my ovarian cyst removal surgeries. Not only did he do an amazing job, but I have no scars to show on my abdomen. I know that whenever I see him, I get his full attention and he always takes the time to explain exactly what the course of action we are going to take. His staff is warm and friendly and always help me to get in to see him when needed. (I never wait more than 15 minutes to see him.) I love his office manager Belinda, she is super helpful especially when it comes to insurance matters. I have recommended 5 of my friends to him so far (he has delivered 2 of their babies), and would only go to him when I get pregnant. If you are looking for a great personable gynecologist in Burbank (who has priviledges at Providence St. Joseph's) I highly recommend Dr. David Adhoot! read more

I have been a patient of Dr. Ahdoot's for about 15 years and just cannot say enough to express how wonderful my experience has been. Before I had children, he and his staff were friendly, efficient, and really great at what they did. When I got pregnant with my first child I was even more impressed with Dr. Ahdoot. He understood the things that I was going thru and he always made me feel comfortable and safe. He talked me thru everything and I knew I could trust him with the most important thing in my life. Dr. David Ahdoot get 5 stars from me. He has been my doctor for the past 8 years and he is an excellent OB-GYN. He had to do a radical hysterectomy on me due to another Burbank doctor's negligence - If I had not gone to him when I did I'm not sure if I would be alive today. He is always available to see me no matter what his schedule is. I love his staff - they are very helpful with everything I need. I trust him so much with my life that I had both my daughters go to him as well. He has done 3 surgeries on my oldest daughter and I never for a moment worried that she wasn't in the best of hands and was always taken care of. He treats me the same as he would treat his mother and treats my daughters the same way he would treat his own daughter. I am 53 years of age and Dr. Ahdoot has helped me thru the past 2 years of on and off issues with bleeding from fibroids and eventually Adenomyosis . The end result this last week was a hysterectomy. He was there for me every step of the way. There was never a time when he did not see me when I needed to see him or take my call or return my call. Dr. Ahdoot is extremely thorough and knowledgeable in every aspect of Gynecology and women's health. He is kind and honest and has a sense of humor... but takes his work very seriously. Dr. Ahdoot is like a part of our family now. My husband and I have been with him for five years, through years of miscarriages, infertility, and now the miracle of a healthy baby. I came to California as I was seven month pregnant. Most of my attempts to find a obstetrician to deliver my baby failed since I was already in seventh month and had a high risk pregnancy. With an anxious feeling I called Dr. Ahdoot's office and fortunately he accepted me. I was very happy to finally have a doctor to deliver my little angel.
