I first went to him when I thought I had a lump in my breast which turned out to be nothing. He totally put me at ease though and a month later I got pregnant with my 2nd son. I have know Dr Ahboot. For about 2 year I knew he was a Dr and I found out I was pregnant end of December, by now I am 10 weeks pregnant and I have not seen a dr since I need to be referred by my current DR. They have not done this. I called him to get advice, he told me not to worry, he set an appointment to see if everything is ok he would see me until I get a doctor. So he scheduled me a time where we can find out if the baby is ok. Within 2 days! Amazing I did also let him know my husband dose not agree with me seeing a male DR he unsure me that he will be ok. By the way I live 20mile from him. When I got to his office his staff greeted me and was kind. He then saw me and had a conversation with my husband and me. He told me that everything looked good and that the baby was good. He told me not to worry and if I gave question or if I don't get seen by another dr he will make another appointment to see me. Dr Ahdoot is the best doctor (across all medical fields) I have ever been too!! I have been going to him since 2008 and have never had a complaint about him or his wonderful office staff. I have been a patient of Dr. Ahdoot for over 6 years now and couldn't have asked for a better OB/GYN. I have referred everyone in need of a OB/GYN to him! He and his staff are beyond amazing. Let me give you a background. As a teen I had extremely irregular and horribly painful periods so my family practice physician put me on birth control pills to "regulate" me and said stay on them until I wanted to have children. 10 years later, my husband and I decided it was time for us to start a family. After stopping birth control, I began to figure out there is something hormonally wrong with me. I would have awkward periods then not have one for months. I found a local OB/GYN who within the first few minutes of my appointment told me I couldn't get pregnant because I was obese then sent me out the door. I had the same experience with another physician. No matter how hard I tried with diet and exercise, even with the motivation of trying to have a baby, my weight wouldn't budge. Finally a close friend of mine, who also happens to be a physician, referred me to Dr. Ahdoot. After a few months of closely monitoring my cycles and running tests, Dr. Ahdoot discovered that I have PCOS. After a couple cycles of medication, I was finally able to conceive. My wife is very healthy and pregnant at age 42. We went to sign up with Dr. Ahdoot and he rejected her as a patient because as an older mother she is statistically higher risk. Well duh! They have 3 clinics in different towns it would appear. That sounds very corporate and Im sure its a business decision as it might take more time and time is money In a volume business... you want in and out kaching!. We found out we were pregnant at 9 weeks, 5 days before we were leaving for our dream wine tasting trip to Italy. Needless to say I was panicked that it took so long to find out (home tests all negative) and was in urgent need of a doctor once we did find out. Dr. Ahdoot and team to the rescue. They got us in for an ultrasound and blood work the same day and got back to us with the positive results within two days, giving us the all clear to still go on our trip, minus the wine for me. No words can express how grateful I am to Dr. Ahdoot. About 3 years ago, I was rushed to the hospital with an ectopic pregnancy that ruptured due to the neglect of my previous doctor. Dr. Ahdoot was the on call emergency doctor and saved my life. Considering the pain and stress that were involved at the time, he really helped to keep my husband and myself reassured that everything was going to be ok. I then started seeing another doctor for continued gynecological assistance in hopes of having a baby. A lot was going on for the next 2 and a half years and continuous questions and a lot of pain started to progress without any reall answers. Turns out I was a mess in there and and needed a hysterectomy. By wonderful coincidence, I was referred back to Dr. Ahdoot. The only regret I have is not staying with him in the first place, as my questions would have been answered and my pain could have been stopped a long time ago. Again, he was very gracious, understanding, and helpful during this difficult time. I am so grateful that he first saved my life and then gave me my life back. I live in Palmdale and it's very hard to find good doctors out here. For years Ive gone to many different ones and they just sort have shrugged my pain and symptoms off. Dr. Ahdoot was the first doctor in years to give me an ACTUAL REASON for my pain. I drove to Burbank and visited them at that location and it was beautiful. I would also like to add that I have never really waited at all to see Dr. Ahdoot. Because of the infection I've been dealing with for about 6 months now, I see him regularly (anywhere from every 2-4 weeks). I think I've only maybe waited once, and it wasn't for more than 15 minutes. His nursing staff is truly amazing. They know me and my situation without having to read it off my chart and they're always friendly and extremely helpful. I've also never had a single billing issue with this office because I made sure to confirm on my own that they were in my PPO network. It's super easy to do on your insurance website, so I'm not sure why anyone would be upset to find out after the fact that he's not in network. I've read some of the bad reviews, and while most are concerning billing, I've seen a few regarding the fact that he does an ultrasound upon every single visit. I absolutely love this! I want my doctors to do anything and everything in their power to ensure that my health is perfect! Maybe my situation is a bit more complicated, but I think I'd still rather my doctor use any tool needed to ensure there aren't any problems. And I will also say that the surgery that was done to remove my imbedded IUD was absolutely the easiest surgery I've ever been through!!! And he even took pictures of the inside of my uterus that show why I needed the surgery and to also show that I didn't have anything like polyps. I mean, how could you not be happy with that?! It was extremely thorough and he was able to show me afterwards what was done and why it was done and how it had caused the problems that I'd been dealing with. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. He has also treated my mother and my fiancé with the utmost respect and he's explained everything to them in a way that they can understand. I can't imagine why anyone would have any complaints regarding Dr. Ahdoot or his office staff. **Update** Hello, all. Resident cancer patient, here. And I have FINALLY, after almost a year, been cleared of the infection that has been trying to kill me for months! My IUD was placed in via surgery because of my most previous complication, and I cannot speak highly enough of both Dr. Ahdoot and the surgery center. I won't up easily and with no pain. This is the second surgery I've had by him that resulted in no pain and super quick recovery time! You could say I've done this a *lot*, and you'd totally be right! my experience with him wasn't good at all. i met him twice, very brief talk (5 minutes or so) each time and nothing else. but he charged my insurance company total 3000 dollar. charging x-rays and other things for both visits which i never did. he didn't even take my blood sample no nothing. i called them twice about this but they didn't return the call. i think this can be seen as an insurance fraud. i know he seems a very busy man but i'm really not sure if he is honest. at my first visit, he received my ultrasound result from my other doctor but gave me a wrong diagnosis and suggested most invasive surgical method . so i didn't want to see him but his nurse called again a few weeks later and said he really wanted to see me and talk about my condition. i went there and he was asking only one simple question "so are you going to do a surgery with me or not?" i said no and that was it. it was maybe less than 2 minutes talk. and he charged 1,210.12 dollar exactly... for what...? not to mention 1,848.12 dollar for my first visit for just 5 minutes talk. From day one, Dr. Ahdoot made it clear that my wife's health is his top priority. We were introduced to Dr Ahdoot after suffering a very traumatic experience back in 2013 and he was amazing every step of the way. We bounced around a bit "interviewing" docs before we decided on sticking with Dr Ahdoot and we cannot express how HAPPY we are! When we first visited I was a bit hesitant and felt Dr Ahdoot was on the cocky side. My husband loved that about him and kept stressing how he has good reason to be and exudes confidence (which is what you what in your doctor). I really warmed up to him over the following months and would very much look forward to our visits. We were yet to have our first child when Dr Ahdoot performed a myomectomy and paved the way for the two beautiful children we had following that procedure in May 2015 (boy) and January 2017 (girl). Dr Ahdoot and his entire staff are genuinely good people with hearts of gold and are true professionals through and through. They worked with us and were very accommodating in every way. Although the office is super clean and professional it doesn't have that sterile doctor's office feel to it; very warm and welcoming like being part of the family. My husband and I are so thankful to have found Dr. David Ahdoot three years ago. We had gone through two early miscarriages prior to meeting Dr. Ahdoot and it seemed as though there was no hope to sustaining a healthy pregnancy due to the lack of compassion and expertise with the doctors treating us at the time. However, Dr. Ahdoot reassured us that things will turn out in our favor and that everything will be OK. Unfortunately, having gone through our third miscarriage under his care, Dr. Ahdoot exceeded above and beyond his reach to find the cause of our problem sustaining a healthy pregnancy. Through an extensive lab work and the involvement of other specialists in his field that we were referred to by Dr. Ahdoot, we were finally given an answer. I was diagnosed with blood clotting disorders and it was determined that I would need to be treated with blood thinner shots during my next pregnancy. Through thick and thin, we finally fell pregnant again for the fourth time and began all the treatments and medications with the hope that this was going to be the ONE. And, lo and behold, we surpassed the first trimester for the first time ever, and with continuance trust in Dr. Ahdoot, we recently became parents to a handsome little boy. We never thought this day would come. We have never met such a Doctor that is sincerely interested in their patients well-being. He is truly incredible at what he does and we're SO thankful we met him. He gave us hope and let us believe in the amazing future we are living. We love him so much! I was referred to Dr. Ahdoot by Dr. Emrani I think about 7 years ago. I am so happy he sent me to Dr. Ahdoot. I was having issues and my prior GYN took me off hormones, that was not working for me as I could not think (which was rather important in my job), was having headaches and hot flashes. Dr. Ahdoot lowered the dose and I have been fine ever since. I see him at least yearly and he is always informative, helpful, caring and professional. I became a patient of Dr. Ahdoot's back in mid 2010. I had been with another OB/gyn for the previous 15 years, who I loved, so changing doctors was a big deal for me. So, I started researching and came across Dr. Ahdoot. Of all the docs, he seemed to have the most positive patient reviews, so I decided to give him a try. Boy am I happy that I did. I'm not an easy patient to have. I have endometriosis and a history of chronic cysts... We had been trying to conceive our 2nd child for about 3 years and kept experiencing miscarriages. I went and met Dr Ahdoot and he literally spent 20 - 30 minutes with me after my exam and reviewed and discussed my entire history with me. He is amazing and thorough and makes all of his patients feel like VIP's. Here we are in September of 2012 and we just gave birth to a beautiful baby boy. Dr. Ahdoot performed my hysterectomy in May. The procedure and the recovery were flawless. I had adenomyosis and fibroids. My cycle was extremely heavy and excruciatingly painful. The pain had spread into the days between my cycles. I lived with it for a few years. Dr. Ahdoot was confident in explaining that the procedure would cure the pain. He was also patient with me as I took my time in making my decision, treating the symptoms during that time. I had been misdiagnosed by another doctor and she told my husband that I was somatizing the whole thing after performing an unnecessary surgery. Dr. Ahdoot, within 5 minutes of our first appointment, told me the name of my condition and took his time with me explaining everything about it. I have recommended him to many friends, and they all have been treated with kindness, understanding, and wisdom. His care is thorough and comprehensive.
