TLDR: you will want to have this place be your dentist…read more Let me start by saying, before Dr. Holz I hated going to the dentist. I did not have the best dental hygiene growing up which has compounded into a mouth that needs a lot of work. Previous dentists I went to made this seem insurmountable and it was too overwhelming and I ultimately would give up every time. Dr. Holz did the opposite of that. In my initial consult with him on 9/20/2021 he also explained that my mouth was in really bad condition, but he took the time to explain how we could systemically approach it and what needed to be taken care of right away and what could wait for the future. He also did not judge me when I shed a few tears over how overwhelming it all was. 1.5 years later, 6 teeth pulled, 4 crowns, 10+ fillings (I was able to not need some over time which was great), 14 visits later I am still as happy as I am that first visit. Every visit to the office is dare I say fun. Everyone at the office works together to take care of you so that you have the best experience. I had some complications from the teeth being pulled that required lots of coordination and the front office stepped in and made sure everything was taken care of so that I could focus on what I needed to. Also Dr. Holz and the different assistants explain every step of the way what they are doing so that I never have to wonder what that weird sound is in my mouth. Also, Dr. Holz is the best at numbing I have ever experienced. The experience is top notch while you are in the chair is also top notch. The massage chairs and televisions with Netflix and disney+ are a wonderful added bonus that help distract you when you have longer treatments. I could continue to go on and on with how much this location has changed my life but I will leave you with this, 1.5 later I've finally moved out of the first phase of treatment and get to begin on the optional parts of my treatment, and I have never enjoyed my smile more. I cannot thank Dr. Holz and team for all they do enough.

I had paperwork to fill out. I the office provided complimentary drinks in the lobby. After my paperwork work was completed I was able to go to the back to get a full scan of my mouth. It was in 3D with color. I was a bit skeptical because of my experience at sage dental but they said not to worry. After going over some of my goals for my smile I felt so relaxed. The dentist understood everything and answered all of my questions. After that I got to relax and watch my show on Netflix because they had TVs mounted on the ceiling while you get your cleaning done. Now the cleaning was such a peaceful moment. She cleaned my teeth with so much care. There were three flavors of toothpaste for the cleaning. I got to try the cinnamon and one other. I really enjoyed the cinnamon but decided to stick with the other that I cannot recall. I even got walked out and was gifted a tumbler too. I absolutely love my new dental office.

I recognize most of the staff but there are some new ones here. All of them are friendly though. They are gentle and ask if you feel any pain throughout the processes. They recommend different care and have treatment plans. They go over the plans well and they also take time to go over any questions. It never feels rushed even when they have a lot going on but I also don't ask tons of questions so not sure. lol bbbuuuttt they have been great here so I'll continue coming for myself and my family.

When I arrived just 12 minutes past the scheduled time, I was told my children could not be seen because it was too close to the lunch hour. I understand I was late but the tone of the conversation stating there is not wiggle room was just not okay...No empathy whatsoever! I understand that every office has policies, but most medical practices offer at least a 15-minute grace period. Here, it seems to be 10 minutes--with no flexibility or consideration, even when I made every effort to communicate in advance. As a pediatric office, you would think there would be more understanding that children can make you late for all kinds of reasons. If any place should offer a 15-minute grace period, it's a practice that serves kids. This lack of responsiveness and accommodation is unacceptable. I will not be returning.

This practice seems designed to milk every last dime out of its "patients" (or, more accurately,…read morethe victims of its fear-driven sales tactics). I went in a few weeks ago as a new patient after moving to the area. I scheduled what I thought was a routine cleaning. Instead, I spent OVER TWO HOURS being subjected to what felt like one long sales pitch, only to eventually be asked whether I wanted to have my teeth cleaned that day. Yes- the cleaning I had scheduled the appointment for in the first place. I was told that I had FOUR cavities, despite never having more than one cavity identified at any dental appointment in my life. I was repeatedly pushed toward add-on services, including an oral cancer screening, yet during this supposed screening, the dentist did not even examine under my tongue or palpate the surrounding lymph nodes. I also was not clearly informed that the X-rays they took would not be covered by my insurance until after they had already been performed. Somehow, my supposedly routine, insurance-covered cleaning appointment still left me with a bill of more than $200. But the treatment plan was what really set off alarm bells. The dentist specifically described my alleged cavities as very small, surface-level cavities that she prefers to fill before they become larger. Yet my itemized treatment estimate included pulp caps for all of them, which are medically indicated for protecting the pulp in substantially deeper decay and, conveniently, not covered by my insurance. Even more concerning, one of my supposed cavities was identified between my teeth using AI. When I asked to see it, the dentist was unable to show me the cavity on the X-ray or provide a photograph demonstrating it. At that point, I sought a second opinion. The second dentist told me I have ONE cavity that needs to be filled. NOT FOUR. One. I completely understand that dentists can have different treatment philosophies and that there can be legitimate disagreement about when early decay should be treated versus monitored. What I experienced here went far beyond a difference in philosophy. Between the aggressive treatment recommendations, questionable add-ons, lack of transparency about costs, and the enormous discrepancy between their treatment plan and an independent second opinion, I left feeling that generating revenue was a much higher priority than earning my trust as a patient. Dentistry depends on patients being able to trust that when a provider tells them they need irreversible treatment, they actually need it. Experiences like this are exactly why people become suspicious of the dental industry in the first place. If you are told you suddenly need extensive dental work here, get a second opinion before allowing anyone to touch your teeth. I am extremely glad I did.

Dr. Allie Miller is an absolute godsend…read more When my five-year-old daughter was terrified of going to the dentist--even for a basic checkup--and other dentists immediately recommended full sedation for her cavities, Dr. Miller was the one who truly listened to me as a mom. She took the time to understand both my concerns and my daughter's fears. From the moment we walked in, she made my daughter feel comfortable and safe. Her calm, gentle approach put her at ease right away. Amazingly, she was able to fill two cavities in one visit--and my daughter left with nothing but positive things to say. She's now actually looking forward to going back! I highly recommend Dr. Allie to any family, especially if your child is anxious about dental visits. The staff is friendly and wonderful. Kat, the dental assistant, is great with the kids. My toddler loves that he can watch his favorite cartoons upside down from the "green chair". Every station he gets a little something to positively reinforce his participation in the experience (stickers, little toy, and of course, he got to pick what kind of toothbrush he wanted). Doctor Allie and her team just know what they are doing. Even when making the appt, they are patient and flexible. My toddler (and I) actually enjoy going- and I don't know many that can say that about a dentist's appt.

Even though there is lots to do while you wait I found the wait time to be quite reasonable... maybe 15 minutes at max? The doctor is fantastic and is great with kids. The nurses are too. They taught us some great techniques to get my kid to brush his teeth and we have been using these tips ever since. My son has been a proud member of the no cavities club for two years now.
