Our photography package included our engagement shoot, about nine hours coverage for the day of the wedding, a CD containing high resolution images, as well as an online album for guests to view and order prints if they wished. I loved working with David for my wedding. He was very communicative, friendly and easy to work with. I met with him a few times prior to the wedding, once with my mother and once with my now-husband. My mother, being a photographer herself, was pleased with all of his questions he had for me and his sample proofs of previous weddings. Simply amazing! Words do not exist to express my wife's and my appreciation for David's work in photographing our wedding. He went above and beyond in looking at the venue a week before we had the wedding in order to figure out the best areas for the best natural lighting. We had an outdoor wedding, so you can imagine that trying to find the lighting for it would be difficult, but I was simply amazed when we saw the photos. Amazing!!!! Go figure my husband and I hate posing for pictures and being the center of attention. We had the honor of having David shoot our wedding 11-11-11. He is insanely creative, professional, and very easy going to work with. He was like the butler from Mr. Deeds: he would appear out of no where and capture some incredible shots without even noticing he was there!! David photographed our engagement shoot and our wedding on June 18, 2011. We are so happy with his work, professionalism, timeliness and overall attitude. David has an ease about him that makes a very stressful day, much less stressful. We had a very large bridal party 8 on each side, and sometimes that makes it hard to get everyone organized. David's calming attitude made everyone pay attention and get the photos done right. I would have liked to give David Gene a positive review; however, I can't. After meeting with David and liking his work, we let him know almost a year before our wedding (coming up at the end of the year) that we wanted to hire him. So for the past 6 months we trusted we had him booked as our wedding photographer and believed he was going to do a fantastic job with our wedding day and engagement photos. Now, just 5 months before the wedding he emailed us a message letting us know that he suddenly learned of a family event and can no longer be our photographer. He didn't even attempt to help us search for a replacement photographer that would be a good fit for our wedding. I feel like he just left us hanging. This is so upsetting. Now, we need to do a new search for our wedding photographer. We have been online for the past few hours emailing photographers and we keep getting replies that our wedding date is booked!! I knew photographers, esp. the good ones, book out easily 8-12 months in advance. That is why finding our photographer was at the top of our list, right after finding our venue. I believe that someone that can just drop his client like that after 6 months really should reconsider being in the wedding photography business! read more

Hiring David as our photographer for our wedding was without a doubt the best investment that we did on our wedding day! He exceeded our expectations and are greatly pleased with the results! He has a gifted talent and an eye for detail witch made our pictures seem like a storybook. We picked David to shoot our wedding after seeing the photos he produced for another friend's ceremony. They looked absolutely stunning so it was an easy decision for us. When we first met with David to discuss our wedding, we were really impressed by his friendly, yet professional style. He asked a lot of questions to understand our event and exactly what we wanted. He invested a lot of time to get to know me and my fiancé, and this helped tremendously during the actual event. From our conversations he created an ideal layout of how our pictures should look. Everything had a custom touch to it and didn't seem cookie cutter at all. Our guests told us numerous times how amazing our photographer was, and that he seemed to be everywhere without being obtrusive. He caught every big moment, which was quite a feat given the nature of our combo Hindu/ Western ceremony. On top of producing awesome pictures, it was clear that he was very experienced with the flow of weddings. He actually helped keep track of timing and made sure we were on schedule, and also helped fasten the boutonnieres so they looked straight and perfect, as neither the wedding party nor the florist could get it right.
