I have had only limited interactions with this team (they have my home and auto insurance), but they've been good across the board. I'm currently looking to get a new car, and had a bunch of insurance questions, so I called this agency and spoke with Adrianna G. My goodness what a breath of fresh air! She listened to my questions, probed where I was unclear or confused, and worked with me to ensure all my questions were answered. It turns out that there may have been some miscommunication between the office and me when I had an inquiry a couple of months ago. Adrianna, without throwing anyone under the proverbial bus, clarified the answer for me and confirmed I understood. Mistakes happen, and that's part of the human condition. But how mistakes are handled is what separates a good team member from a great one, and Adrianna exemplified what a great team member does: Not dwell on the mistake, quickly apologize for any confusion (and the confusion my have been mine...), and move on. I'm not aware of anyone who enjoys shopping around for insurance. Frankly I look forward to it as much as I look forward to seeing my dentist. It's poor customer service and a comedy of error after error, costing me hours of my time to fix. Some of the most amazing errors are getting a policy with the wrong address for my home owner's policy, them saying they were going to cancel my other car insurance but never doing it, making me wait over a month to get a refund for over $1000 that was owed to me, gosh, the list goes on. You need to avoid this office at all costs.

I opened a renter's insurance policy with State Farm through David in 2017. My policy was cancelled…read morewithout notice- I only found out that I was no longer insured when I logged onto my account today to update my address. I never received a notification via email or post. I called to ask what happened to my policy and was told it was cancelled late last year because I made a claim over TWO YEARS prior. Having coverage for claims is literally the purpose for having insurance. If you plan on using your policy for its intended purpose, expect to be unceremoniously axed 2 years later with no explanation or notification. I will say that the process was easy when we had to make a claim due to theft, but I'm extremely disappointed that they cancelled our policy because we dared to actually use it.

I'd recently decided to get into motorcycles and like anyone who impulsively buys anything, I really hadn't considered the cost to insure said motorcycle. My quick "click or call" to a popular insurance company who shall go unnamed (but uses the voice of Jim Halpert from the Office to shout its tag line on cable tv) yielded results that were less than appealing - which is to say, the cost to insure the bike was going to be more than the cost of owning the bike. So now what - do I sell my mid-life-crisis-on-a-kickstand or fork out double the monthly payment of the bike to just be able to ride the thing (HOV may be free for bikes, but this was hardly a money-making venture). I had recently run into Nathan Klotz at a Panera where he unsuspecting became trapped in my "21-questions" version of insurance interrogation. "Can I get insurance on a bike that doesn't require my left arm as payment?" "Can I still bundle a bike and auto?" "Can you buy this bike from me - I've clearly made a mistake." All worries were laid to rest with his answer. "Listen Heather. Send me your current coverage. I'll see what I can do - no pressure. If we can help you get it cheaper, we'll do it. But I also want you to have the right coverage." I'm pretty sure Nathan is the 8th Avenger because frankly, he saved the day (and probably defeated Thanos). Not only was he able to find affordable coverage for the bike (bikes - this entire story ends up snowballing into more bikes, yes, I know, what?), he was able to beat my coverage for renters and auto to boot AND since this wasn't done with a robot online, he wrote the policies to have my best interests in mind (finally, someone looking out for my best interests because I'm certainly not). My boyfriend ended up getting bit by the bike bug too and Nathan once again was able to get the best coverage at the best price - he switched over auto as well. Long story short - Brown's Insurance Agency Inc. saved the summer, insured the bikes, and now I get to have helmet hair all the time - but with the money I saved, I'm able to fork over some cool hard cash for some much needed leave-in conditioner.
