We are in our late 20s and the show was amazing, it's definitely not only for kids to enjoy. We booked David for a 30-40 minute seated show + closeup magic, where he walked around the party for about 1.5 hours after the show. The show was a great mix of incredible/impressive magic, silly/funny tricks, and comedy! Our guests were so entertained, intrigued, and delighted with David's jokes and tricks. I definitely recommend booking the closeup magic as well, which was a huge highlight for us. David is very personable and did a great job of walking up to every single group, making sure everyone at the party was able to see an up-close magic trick. It was so great seeing/hearing everyone's reactions and he added lots of life to the party. David is also very professional and willing to go the extra mile to ensure a great show. Since our show was local to OC, when I offered if David wanted to come out to our house a few weeks prior to do a walkthrough, he obliged. We were able to make sure the space and lighting needs were sufficient and helped offer advice for the best location to host the show. For the day-of, David brought his own sound system, including mic, music, and speaker. The day before the show he called to make sure all our questions were answered and we were all set. He is also very quick to respond on text. Overall, David provided a fun show + great customer service! Would definitely book again.

All I have to say is WOW!! David performed at our home for my 7-year-old boys birthday party last weekend. He did an AMAZING job and made sure he included the whole party. Not only were the children amused, but he also had the parents scratching their heads wondering how he performed his tricks. His magic was high quality, professional and extremely entertaining. He made sure to vary his tricks so that you weren't experiencing the same magic over and over. His cost was extremely fair and he is a really nice guy. David accommodated us on a last minute basis. Im glad i was referred to him. We were having a July 4th party and we wanted something different and magic was it. My guests were thoroughly entertained. Leaving on a hill we could see fireworks and At some point we forgot all about them. David was gonna do walk around magic, i introduced them to my friend and his wife and 19 minutes later majority of our guests were surrounding him in awe and disbelief of the magic tricks. We had David over for a birthday party that included children, adults, people of all ages and David had the entire crowd at the edge of their seats the entire time, laughing, enjoying themselves, and then staring with their mouths agape as he delivered his grand finale. WOW!! Great Magician!! David is amazing!! I had originally booked another magician, but at the last minute, my magician had gotten sick, could not perform, and David contacted me to fill in on my magician's behalf. There was no pressure by David for me to book him as a result of the situation with my original magician. David texted me his contact info, who he had performed for, his vaccination status, videos of his performances, and reviews. David arrived early for the event to set up, and then proceeded to do magic table by table to entertain the guests until his main show. David's magic makes you think "how in the world does he do that". David is funny and engages the audience to be part of the show. David has a great memory, and adds a personal touch by remembering the names of the guests. After David left, the guests were still talking about his amazing performance. David teaches an online magic class that our kids are enrolled in. The kids really love the class and look forward to it every time. He's funny and engaging, and has a gift for connecting with his audience - the kids are having a blast, but if you as an adult are watching, I guarantee you will be entertained as well. David also performed at our kids' school fundraiser -- everyone loved the show. He's good at putting a little something for everyone in his show, so the kids are laughing at his jokes but the adults are appreciating them on a different level and nodding and winking to each other. =D It was a blast. History

Established in 1998.

I started as a street magician on the Third Street Promenade over 20 years ago, which was a fabulous way to share my magic with the world. Soon, I moved indoors, becoming the house magician at various restaurants and hotels, until recently, I became the house magician at the Four Seasons Hotel and the 5-star resort Terranea. I have been a booked performer at the world-famous Magic Castle in Hollywood for many years, and have been hired to perform magic for many celebrities, including Harrison Ford at his airplane hangar at Santa Monica Airport, Sarah Silverman at her 40th birthday party, and Tom Cruise at a party at the Bel-Air Country Club. Other celebrity parties include James Cameron, Jodie Foster, Tom Morello, Patrick Dempsey, Bob Newhart, Candace Bergen, Norman Lear, Steve Wozniak, Alyssa Milano, Mira Sorvino, and many others.

Meet the Business Owner: Magician David G.

I fell in love with magic at age 7. I was astonished to find that the world had little miracles! However, reality intruded and I finished college and embarked on a career as a journalist. I was shy, though, and wanted to emerge from my shell and connect with people. Magic helped me do that. Soon, journalism betrayed me and I switched over to being a professional magician. I stayed awake at night thinking about my beautiful magic tricks, and then on the weekends, would drive to all corners of the city and perform in strangers' homes. Within five years, I had truly become an extrovert. I could talk to anybody! Not only that, but they loved the little miracles, too! For me, magic has been a vehicle to happiness. I want to share it with the world!

I went with 45 min magic show, 20 min balloon twist, and 20 min bubble show. Even though it was raining that day, Dave was very accommodating and communicated with me the different options for a bubble show in case he can't do it outside. He still made it happen and the kids had so much fun popping gigantic bubbles in the rain. I also appreciated how Dave's magic show was age appropriate with the smaller kids but still catered to the adults with a few magic tricks.
