She saw me right away, was so kind and, like everyone else has mentioned, really LISTENED to me. I've since been back 2 times, once for a physical and once for another condition. Each visit has been like the first--she never seems rushed, she always keeps her full attention on you, she's very knowledgeable and also realistic when it comes to all the other factors that affect health--stress, exercise, diet, weight, etc. I always leave feeling as though I have been heard and that I have a plan for feeling better or taking care of myself. I feel very fortunate to have found her.

Being told I could not keep my doctor as my "primary care Physician" but being reassigned to a Physicians Assistant against my will. 2. Coming in for a bone chip to be looked at. The visit involved 99% being run through the charting motions and then, without any physical examination, the PA telling me they just don't do that and pointing to the place to go on Yelp. (Norcal Imaging, its walk in.) The actual appt lasted less than one minute. 3. Refusing to renew my Ambien prescription without another pointless $160 charting visit. It is just about money now. I went on line to make my appointment with Dr Scott on December 30th. I came in as I have a bit of asthma and was coughing for 4 weeks. My first appointment was over 45 minutes. She wrote a prescription for an inhaler, and scheduled a second appointment. My blood pressure has been high and on my second appointment wrote a prescription. Today I am back for my follow on my blood pressure and cough. She is taking new patients.

I was on HIV medication for…read moretwo years with no issues, but when they changed my medication, I ended up in the ICU with respiratory failure, pneumonia, and sepsis. The hospital put me back on my old medication, but Dr. Jones's office put me back on the new medication, and I ended up in the emergency room with edema in my legs. This has left me very concerned about their ability to make decisions about my medication. I also discussed acupuncture or physical therapy for my sciatica and medication for fat buildup under my ribcage. I finally got acupuncture after six months, but I still haven't received medication for the fat buildup, which is common for people with HIV. I'm now looking for a new doctor, but I'm hoping for the best at my next appointment with Dr. Jones's office. I would strongly recommend that people think twice before going to this doctor."

Come see her if you want to be looked at as a drug addict, because she just simply doesn't prescribe prn anti-anxiety pills--or, apparently, insulin, which I guess someone may abuse, but I really have no idea how. Come see her if you want to waste your time and money getting nothing but a referral if you're having a crisis. Come see Mr. Grant, her lousy PA, if you want nothing but the minimal treatment provided and want to be forced to get a second opinion. Come see him if you want to be sent home to take Robitussin and come back a week later with pneumonia. From reception to the physicians themselves, this place is a nightmare. The only bright spot is my own doctor, Dr. Beltran. But after this latest experience, my family is forced to go elsewhere, lest the only good doctor in the practice not be available when treatment--actual treatment--is needed. Update: She called me back to say she couldn't discuss "my partner's" case with me--which is interesting because all through my conversation with her office manager, I referred to my WIFE as my WIFE. So there's another point: come see this woman if you want your relationship demoted by her prejudice.

And he has a sharp sense of humor, and always makes me laugh. Also sometimes I email him, and he always responds quickly, which I appreciate. My only complaint is not about him, but the office, I think. Once I asked the office to give me a couple of appointments with him as I had a lot to cover. It turned out I had all of 15 minutes. I'm not sure if this is a problem with this office or with insurance, but I felt a little rushed. That aside, Dr. B. is one of my all time favorite docs.
