Looking back at my experience with this doctor, I do not recommend this office. I had really bad Eczema and he wrote down a prescription that my medical doesn't cover. The pharmacy tried many times to contact the doctor so he can call my insurance and ask for approval/a different medication but he didn't respond and didn't even care. I also called the office multiple times but they also did not respond. They are not responsible and I do not recommend them. I've never seen such horrible service. Dr. David Rayhan is such an amazing doctor. He is so nice and caring. He helped my husband when I noticed there was a strange mole on his head. He did a small procedure to remove the mole, sent it to a lab for biopsy and said that it was negative. He was very personable, kind, friendly, and understanding. Today was my first visit with Dr. David Rayhan, and I cannot recommend him enough!! I'm extremely picky when it comes to medical care, and I must say I am extremely impressed with his care and his practice. I drove from Westwood, Los Angeles just to see him, per my friend's recommendation. He examined my lesion, went through the diagnosis with full detail and explained 3 treatment options, with all the benefits and risks and all alternatives. I've honestly never felt like I was in such great hands. He was very gentle, and patient with me, even though I was squirming like a big baby. His office also had all the latest tools, gadgets, and technologies. The days of seeing a doctor who rushes you, barely explains anything, and is in and out of the patient room, are over! I usually don't leave poor reviews, but immediately walking into this place I realized it was the same doctors office who cut a quarter size margin out of my back and left the stitches in come to find out years later from another doctor. This time I was supposed to see his son, so I instead of walking straight out said, ok I'll give it a shot. I showed up at 9 a.m. for my 9:30 appointment and the girl to open up was ten mins late. I had my paperwork all filled out, and 9:31 hits, nothing, no communication. So I ask, "my appointment is at 9:30 right?" She responds, "yeah, but if he isn't here by then it'll be 9:45, and if he's not here by then 10:15..." So I say, "well why don't you guys tell people that ahead of time? Why are you scheduling 9:30 appointments when really they are almost an hour later?" I not only took off work, but it's complete lack of consideration for other people's time. I'm 100% done with this place for multiple reasons. I'd never suggest anyone go here, it's a waste of time, and completely unprofessional and barbaric from my previous experience. read more

This is for Dr David Rayhan of Rayhan Assoc/ Skin OC. He was amazing!!! He got me in as an emergency through my PCP for a reaction I had to medication. I was seen within 5-10 min which is rare at a busy Doc's office. I was very impressed with his expertise and knowledge. He was very easy to talk to and extremely thorough which is 150% important to me since I work in the medical field. I really appreciated him taking his time with me and being extra thorough by performing additional tests. I would recommend him absolutely and will be going back for some sun damage issues. Dr. Rayhan is fantastic. When my patients need a derm in LA, I definitely send them his way.

He will come up on you stab you in the back with a knife, then flip with anger as he electric burns to stop bleeding, burning stinking with no or ventilation. Then if you question he calls you crazy. I straight up asked him, who am I what is my condition, he said sit down the lady has your file. I said no I've come two years who am I he didn't know he stressed bad I asked him where are we he didn't know his severe burn, because of him stumbling caused shingles to happen again made reports to medical board They need to revoke his licence office staff seems high on pain meds or are the just stupid or maybe running up bills stealing from the senile old creep. read more

My experience with Dr. Rayhan has been nothing short of fantastic. I felt like he really took his time to make me feel comfortable and was honest and informative about my diagnosis. In fact, his entire team made me feel welcome and like I was in the best hands possible. Quick sidebar: there is ample parking which is very important to me when seeing a doctor (that's the last thing you ever want to worry about). I was not comfortable. The Dr was about 100 yrs old and very unsteady. The nurse did most of the work and practically guided his hands. I'm 38 years old, in decent shape with no health issues. Also a former paramedic. I came in to have a spot on my shoulder looked at, expecting to have it biopsied. The Dr cut 80% of the dime sized, discolored, area off of my should for the biopsy. Also expected. Then, I asked his opinion of a pencil, eraser, sized, spot above my eyebrow. I closed my eye as he was fiddling with the area. Then he JUST cut it off!!! While looking over my back and shoulders he told me he noticed other spots. I expected that. He started shooting them with liquid nitrogen. I expected this but he could have warned me of what he was going to do. Finally, the bill comes. They charged me for each time he cut a piece off of me and separately for each biopsy. After my insurance I owe $650. FML. Biopsy came back positive for a mild, cancer so they want me to come back to remove the last 20% of the patch and charge me again. NO THANKS! I'll cut it off myself. read more

Went to Dr. Rayhan because I had several dermatofibroma. The dermatologist that diagnosed them immediately wanted to cut them out, so I sought Dr. Rayhan for a 2nd opinion. While he gave me the same diagnosis, he offered a more conservative treatment option before simply cutting in me. His treatment was a great success, and I avoided any sort of surgical procedures. I am confident in my skin again, and confident in the care I received at his office. I would certainly refer any friends/family to him. Excellent and professional care! read more

I have no problem with the doctor. It's the billing department that is the problem. They billed me for visit and procedures that were never done I was never in their office in 2019. I've called four times and each time was reassured it would be corrected and that they were aware of the problem. I called the insurance company about the claim because they paid it. And now four months later I've got another bill saying it's past due. Apparently this office approves of insurance fraud. Avoided at all cost. read more

I've never felt the need so strongly to write a review before in my life... as far as Dr Syrus Rayhan is concerned JUST SAY NO!!! The man has to be in his 90's and should have retired decades ago.. Dr. Syrus's bedside manner leaves everything to be desired. I felt treared with contempt and as if I was bothering him as a patient ... He was less than helpfull with any questions asked ... and only spoke throught his nurse as if iI wasnt even in the room ... then came the bills.. He bill for procedures that weren't even conducted.... lab tests that were billed that I never got the results for ,that I question the need for it in the first place..All in all one of the wost medical expetances of my life.. If your looking to be demeaned and treated poorly by an elitist doctor, this may be the place for you read more

I was visiting from Washington State and had called ahead and talked with a gentleman that advised me the doctor would see m and set me up with Phottherapy sessions. When I called a few days later to set up my appointments, he said the doctor could not see me. I later found out that the gentleman I talked to was indeed Dr. Rayhan. I had my Dermatologist send all my records to Dr. Rayhans office and then he decides nto not see me. Lack of professionalism across the board. I arrived 15 minutes early and didn't actually see the doctor until 40 minutes after my appointment time (and it was an early-morning appointment). I know delays happen, and this is probably a general complaint about the medical profession in general, but a doctor's office wouldn't tolerate a patient arriving 40 minutes late. No acknowledgement from the staff that the doctor was running behind or any indication ever given as to how long the wait would actually be. It was pretty stressful since I was having to miss work to be there. Office is run-down and dirty. I saw the son, David. Apparently fresh out of school because he treated me more like a "case" than a human being. Wouldn't give me a straight answer on any of my questions. I have a horribly painful, disfiguring, and incurable skin disease that causes me a lot of shame, and he seemed oblivious to the possibility that there might be a human element to any of it. His comments on it were that it wasn't that bad, that I wouldn't die, and said, "You're just unlucky" and laughed. Laughed. Oh, and his assistant came into the room and they discussed another patient in front of me and he was more interested in complaining about medical insurance than discussing my skin, which was the service I actually paid for. I really wasn't there to be a sounding board for his work stresses. So sad for a young doctor probably deep in student debt to chase patients off like this, but I won't be back. read more

Dr. Rayhan has been my dermatologist for more than 13 years, now. I really appreciate him. With his knowledge, expertise, patience, kindness - I have always felt he knows and he cares about my skin's health, and, about me, too. There have been occasions that, timewise, I'd be brought back to his exam room, late - however, patient/s before me may have come in, late, or, he could have had a particularly involved case, before mine. -I've learned he wants to do his best treating any patient. Plus, I know, If he runs over, in time, before being ready to see me - I always have the option of stepping up to the waiting room window and asking for a status check. If I don't have the time to wait, I can always change my appointment time and date - to see him, another time. As far as I'm concerned, my 13+ year experience with Dr. Rayhan has been "A++". What an experience that I never had with any other doctor!!! Such a weird doctor. Talking to me while standing behind me instead of being in front of me. I went to see him for consultation. 2-3 assistants constantly came to the room and leaving which I didn't know why. He used a Q-tip to rub some liquid to couple of spots on my skin for less than a minute and asked me to make another appointment to get rid of the other spots. Since I was not comfortable with the whole process I cancelled the appointment the next day. The spots on my skin didn't go away nor they got lighter or smaller. After about 3 months I received a bill from the doctor for a few hundred dollars and noticed that they had already received hundreds of dollars from my insurance for surgery, biopsy, lab test, etc. I called them to see why they charged so much for something they didn't do and in my surprise I was given 10% discount. I should have reported them for fraud. Not an honest doctor. read more

I, my wife, and my son have all been patients of Dr. Rayhan and have had excellent experiences under his care. I am very light-skinned and and susceptible to moles, skin tags, etc. My son had a problem with warts several years ago. Dr. Rayhan has provided my family with excellent care. When I had a toe fungus problem, he referred me to a good podiatrist. Dr. Rayhan is very courteous and takes the time to explain skin conditions in terms that a layman can understand. His office is very good with extending maximal effort to see that treatment is covered under insurance. read more
