I'm really glad i found this doctor's office. I needed help with getting a prescription for a specialty fda approved drug. Some other dermatologist are not familiar with it or too conservative to prescribe it. After calling in the front desk crew gave me all the info and cost ahead of time and confirmed that the doctor is familiar with it and prescribed it in the past. Everything went very smooth. After the visit they handled all the paper work for me and submitted my application to my insurance and Pfizer and later on follow up. Very straight forward and practical. Just went in for my first visit with Dr.Wang and he was amazing, great bedside manner!! He made me feel very comfortable discussing my issues and answered all my questions thoroughly. Some doctors rush you but he took his time with me! The new patient process and visit were so quick and seamless, and I was even prescribed my acne medication right after to pick up at my pharmacy, which is awesome! They let you schedule appointments through text and email aside from the phone so it was super easy to reach them. The girls at the front are also so sweet and helpful. I had to have MOHS surgery with Dr. Wang. The office is nice and clean. Magazines, free samples and you can watch t.v. as you wait. The wait btw is not bad at all. 15-20 minutes and I am in the back. Dr. Wang was great during my surgery. I was a bit nervous and he put on some calming music it was great. Dr. Wang is very nice and very humble. The procedure did not take long at all. Although I am in the healing stages now, I am very satisfied with his services and highly recommend. read more

First, I would like to say for the record that if I could give a zero star review I would. Also warning but this review is long but i feel all of this needs to be said. This office is all kinds of unprofessional. The front office is rowdy and the first time we were in there is was like they were partying and not working. There was loud music and they took longer to notice us then it should of taken. Then we saw the PA and she was wonderful and very helpful. Unfortunately, she was the only good thing in that office. I went in for a mole on my head and they said that they would need to cut it out. Mind you the mole was on the crown of my head so a pretty noticeable place. They schedule me to come back and get it removed but when I showed up they said they billed the insurance for the wrong kind of appointment so they couldn't see us and I had to come back again. Finally the third time I came in I got to see the doctor. Also, this was the FIRST TIME meeting Dr. Wang and he was about to cut my scalp open. Like, hello, I would of liked a bit more trust in the man before he cuts me open. He walked in with an assistant and he starts looking at my head. Then he takes KINDERGARTEN SCISSORS and starts chopping my hair off. I obviously went into the appointment knowing some hair was getting cut but no discussion happened before he starting cutting about how much was going to be cut and now I have to wait for the hair to grow back and I look like alfalfa now. Then he starting numbing me, with NO GLOVES ON! Then we get booted from the exam room because apparently another patient was more important over a patient he is currently with and about to get her head cut open. I was in tears by the time I got home because this entire experience was very traumatic for me. I have numerous experience with doctors as I have thyroid cancer and had surgery for it. So I am appalled that there are still doctors out there like this that are responsible for peoples health. This office is unclean and very outdated. They don't make you feel comfortable at all and gaslight you into thinking that you don't know what you are talking about. I may not be a doctor but I am not stupid and I know how to understand my body and my health. Next, I went back to get my stitches out and once again NO GLOVES were worn! They also tried to get me to come back but I refused and will NEVER go back to this office or doctor again. Also, after thinking I was done with this office I received a bill months later saying I owe them money. However, with my insurance all bills that come to my house, come through them not the doctors. So I am very concerned that I am getting ripped off and billed for something that I do not owe. read more

My experience with two visits at this place we're pretty bad. I waited a long time each time. The first time that it came in they didn't have what they needed to treat me so they said that they would make sure that they had had it for my second visit that they scheduled. Not only on my second visit did they not even know what I was there for, they didn't even have the supplies that they needed to see me at that time. The doctor wouldn't even come in and see me as he was talking to a medical sales lady outside my door. This place seems like all the welfare people come here. It's really dirty and kind of sketchy and I would avoid it at all costs. All the five-star reviews must be paid or something cuz I don't get it. At least they didn't charge me my copay for that second visit. But what a waste of taking off work which is time spent that I can't get back. read more

I got medicine prescription for the first visit. Today I went back there for the second time. My skincare is not perfect yet but better than the first visit. I've been debating writing a review, as I hate reviewing medical offices, but I can't in good conscious not say anything. I regret coming here. I had appointment with PA Caitlin for female hair loss. My appointment lasted two minutes. She looked at my head and told me to try a "topical treatment" (didn't specify what) and "maybe some vitamins" (again, didn't discuss which vitamins, no suggestions or anything) then to come back in two months. She did not tell me what kind of hair loss she thought it was, I had to ask her if she thought it was AGA. She nodded in response. We then stood there in silence awkwardly. I then said I guess I'll just shave my head and she said "uh, your hair is nice". Keep in mind I paid someone money for this appointment. It was cringeworthy. It was embarrassing, it was like she had no idea what she was doing. Dr. Wang I am embarrassed for your office and you should be too. I have no idea what qualifications your PA has but this office needs to take a hard look at how their office treats their patients and the conduct of the PAs. Please, I beg you, do not come here if you want compassion or for the office to actually help you. They also charge your credit card without notifying you. ETA: Passive aggressively sending me an email with the agreement for getting charged did not make me feel better about my visit. Also, thank you so much for this great information about female hair loss - it would have been better if I had been told this during my visit rather than as a response to my yelp review. For what it's worth, diagnostic options include blood tests and scalp biopsies. If the PA saw miniaturization it should have been mentioned in my visit. Although there is no cure there are treatment options available, and it's disappointing that your office is unable to discuss that with your patients. read more

Highly recommend! C Garrison, Laura, & entire team go above & beyond for their patients. While being highly professional, they are very personable & a delight to see every few months. After being misdiagnosed & treated by another Dr for approx 1yr, they not only diagnosed my condition but also worked tirelessly to get my very expensive medication covered by my insurance. I am not normally one to promote medical service providers but Dr Wang and his team do a very good job of processing all the insurance stuff, scheduling appointments and keeping the HB practice flowing smoothly .. during a pandemic ! I had medically necessary surgery & reconstructive surgery followed; Dr Wang was expert in his work left my surgical site as good or better than when we started. Waited 2 weeks for an appt with the doctor and not the PA. The doctor was over an hour late and then asked his medical assistant to sent the PA to see me. I was upset and requested to speak to him. He spoke to me for about 2 minutes and was very dismissive. It was really disappointing. The PA was actually quite nice and helpful but the doctor was way too dismissive. Finding a great doctor, let alone a great dermatologist, is quite a task most of the time. After visiting a half a dozen different skin doctors, I found Dr. Wang and my experience has transformed from "another fail, who's next?" to "this is my doctor now!". Dr. Wang is knowledgeable, professional, thorough, a great listener, and has a good sense of humor. Every appointment so far has been easy and painless, unlike other doctor's appointments that I would dread each time. Dr. Wang patiently explained everything, answered all my questions during each appointment, and overall has been very down-to-earth and friendly. Also, Dr. Wang's staff has been amazing to deal with. I have interacted mostly with Laura and Alex, and they have been very friendly, helpful, and also with a good sense of humor, which to me personally is very important. Laura has been extremely helpful and incredibly patient with some of the other entities that we had to deal with (such as pharmacies) and resolved every issue every time effortlessly.
