They are on the City's Call List for towing, and violate the City requirement that lot must be attended during business hours. If you show up when Judy is gone that's your problem: ka-ching$, you pay more storage fees when you finally catch up with her. Assault, drug busts? keep on going. They also park their overflow cars on the public street. The St. belongs to the public, not the Howards. Do: 1. Complain to the City 2. Call the cops to be there when you have any interaction with the Howards. 3. Politely, low key, explain to Judy and the police that you are not going to be another victim of their racketeering.

MY CAR that is in MY NAME, under MY TITLE AND has MY INSURANCE on it to some random girl who walked in off the street with a HANDWRITTEN BILL OF SALE FOR $500!!! BUT WAIT. It gets EVEN BETTER. The lady didn't even have a valid LICENSE!!! Y'all...my mind has NEVER been so blown before!!! I was under the impression there was required paperwork but APPARENTLY NOT because they certainly helped some lady steal MY CAR from THEIR VERY OWN LOT. Didn't even bother to try and CONTACT ME WHATSOEVER!!!!! That is super shady. This just really sucks. I'm so heartbroken and frustrated and I just really want my car back :(

I purchased a 2022 Ford bronco raptor one of the first ones through Capital Ford in Wilmington. The…read morecar has been wonderful. The only issue out of the gate was some programming on the windows which was fixed by Ford after a couple months through a software update. I'm up to 65,000 miles with standard maintenance. I noticed one of the wheel fenders was pulling off the body from clips that were wearing out. They took care of it, ordered the parts, got it on the lift to remove the wheel, liner, pins, everything needed to get to the right parts and put it back together. It looks great and Eric in the service area was wonderful to work with. He kept in touch, made a few recommendations and had me on my way. If I knew the name of the mechanic that did the work I would complement him too.

I would ABSOLUTELY NOT recommend Capital Ford of Wilmington, especially their service department…read more I have a 2022 Ford Bronco, and the infotainment/audio system began having problems where the system would freeze, short out, and stop working properly. Ford was already aware of software-related issues affecting these systems and there was a recall/software fix involved. The frustrating part is that it took months for a solution to become available, and by the time it did, my infotainment system had progressively gotten worse and ultimately failed. Yet somehow Capital Ford wanted to treat this like it was simply my problem. On a relatively new 2022 vehicle. That is absolutely absurd. I brought the Bronco to Capital Ford to have the problem diagnosed and they charged me approximately $180 just to look at it. I initially believed insurance might cover that charge, but because there was no physical damage, I ended up responsible for it. Then Capital Ford quoted me approximately $1,899 to replace a part of the infotainment system. Naturally, I asked a pretty basic question: What exactly did your diagnostic show? Was there a fault code? What testing proved this was the problem? Their explanation? They determined it through a "process of elimination." ARE YOU KIDDING ME? You charged me $180 for a diagnosis and then wanted nearly $1,900 more for a repair based essentially on process of elimination, on an infotainment system that had already been experiencing known software problems? Thankfully, I refused the repair and took my Bronco to DEA, a local audio company, who I HIGHLY recommend. They actually took the system apart, determined what needed to be replaced, and quoted me around $750. Capital Ford: approximately $1,899. DEA: approximately $750. That is more than an $1,100 difference. What makes me the angriest is that this wasn't some 15-year-old vehicle with an aftermarket stereo someone had hacked apart. This was a 2022 Ford experiencing problems with an infotainment system that already had known issues, and somehow I was expected to swallow nearly a $2,000 repair bill. The entire experience felt like highway robbery. Charge me $180 to "diagnose" it, give me no definitive code when I ask what they found, tell me the conclusion came from "process of elimination," and then hand me a nearly $1,900 estimate. No thank you. Take your vehicle somewhere that actually troubleshoots the problem and gives you a reasonable explanation before handing over thousands of dollars. As far as I'm concerned, Capital Ford of Wilmington completely destroyed my trust in their service department. I won't be back.

I found out they decided not to move forward with the account, even though I had already opened it. I even have several emails welcoming me to Live Oak Bank. They refused to tell me why and hung up on me every time I called. The most helpful person told me that my money, almost $200 (with plans to add more in the near future), was going back into my account after 60 days. I pushed back on that, and he called back to say it should be more like 5 days. I looked at my consumer report, and my score is 677. My credit score is between 795 and 810. I have no criminal background -- I have several credit cards, and own a condo and credit card. I've never defaulted on any payment in my life. There's no reason they should close my account, and to add insult to injury, not tell me why, or paths to escalate my complaint. Mashay H claimed she had no boss and refused to provide her full name. I'm not ruling out a lawsuit and I'm submitting complaints to every regulatory body within reach.

When i decided I wasn't comfortable with this bit of subterfuge, I was roped into a pretty unsatisfying interaction with the customer service agent. Finally I talked with a supervisor. I decided that closing the account was best, and it wasn't super easy or very transparent. I also found out that one can only remove $250,000 per MONTH from LOB, not $50k a day, or $100k a day, or any such thing. What if one has $500k in there it takes 60 days?? I was between a rock (not wanting to take 30+ days to get my money) and a hard place (dealing with the bureaucracy of customer service in the year 2025). Overall it was a mixed experience with LOB.
