Do you accept new patients with UHC PPO insurance? Are you do virtual appointments right now during covid? Do you prescribe narcotics to patients who have already been on them for years and looking to switch doctors due to changes in insurance?

He actually takes the time to listen, ask good questions, and figure out what's really going on instead of just rushing into treatment. What I appreciated most is that nothing felt generic. Every session had a clear purpose, and I always left with something practical I could do on my own. He explains things in a way that makes sense (no confusing jargon), and you can tell he really knows his stuff without needing to make it complicated. The mix of hands-on work and exercises helped me start noticing real improvement sooner than I expected. Overall, just a solid, trustworthy place if you're trying to recover or move better without guessing your way through it.

My first day I crutched in and I had a physical therapist assigned to me and that was Jessica Dungca. She was calm, welcoming, understanding and generally had an aura of trust around her. That first day we went over my situation, treatment plan for the next two weeks and she even cleaned up my post op area around my knee and reapplied new dressings and what not, I did not expect that to happen and it was so nice of her. She is also very adamant about getting you the paperwork you need for work. I requested a duty limitation letter from her on a Friday morning and she had it easy to go on Monday morning, in my inbox of my email. Very professional, caring and helpful with anything you need in your recovery. Fast forward three (3) months, I absolutely love Jessica and Russell as my PT team. They are so nice, welcoming, understanding and supportive when it comes to recovery. They both listen and care when you are feeling uncomfortable with movements and have an alternative ready to go. All in all, I would highly recommend this Torrance office for physical therapy and ask for Jessica and Russell! Cannot recommend them enough.

Thanks to her attention to detail, I've learned that my knee positioning and the way I've been favoring it contributed to stiffness and limited rotation in my hip. She saw that I was wearing sandals without socks. The gal helping me kept asking if I had a sock. I said, no. Do you have a ped or socks I could buy from you? She was snarky and said, no. Kept telling me that these are all new products and all sales are final. She also mentioned twice that she did not want her braces to stink after I tried them on. WTH! That in itself is really insulting to say to customers. I am wearing new sandals and I just took a shower before I got there. I needed the brace to I just purchased the one that fit. The store does bill insurance for products and services but, she told me flat out that I would have to pay for the brace and bill my insurance if I wanted to be reimbursed. BY THE WAY, THE BRACE IS NOT REFUNDABLE AFTER YOU LEAVE THE STORE. Like I didn't hear it enough during our interactions. I won't be returning when I need to change to another brace in 6 weeks.

See The Trainer was the vendor that provided the brace (not my knowing). I only received one brace but See The Trainer insisted I got two and hired a collection agency to retrieve the money. I didn't even use the one brace I received and actually returned it to the store. But they insisted I got two and sent letters to my home and the collection agency continued to send letters, so I sent them money, and now, they have my brace (which I never used) and have my money (for the brace I never received). I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau as I think they may be involved in some insurance scam or something. I hope you all have a better experience dealing with these guys.

When a patient is referred to your practice, it is typically with the expectation of receiving medical assistance and having their concerns addressed. I sought your office for pain management, specifically to help alleviate my discomfort. I have undergone a total left knee replacement and five additional surgeries, which have limited my range of motion to 74 degrees. I am currently attending physical therapy twice a week to improve my mobility. I am experiencing pain, swelling, and fluid in my knee. Despite this, your primary concern appeared to be regarding the medication I am prescribed, which is indeed for pain. Had you thoroughly reviewed my medical records, you would have understood my complete history, which would have explained my inability to take the medication you suggested. Your recommendation to take Tylenol felt dismissive and unhelpful. I felt that I was not truly heard, nor did I perceive a genuine concern for my well-being as a patient. I left your office questioning the purpose of my visit, and I believe no patient should ever feel this way. I am not merely a statistic or someone seeking drugs; I am a patient experiencing chronic pain due to unforeseen complications from my surgeries. It seemed as though the focus was on a general approach to patient care rather than an individualized assessment of my specific needs.
