I've been going to this car wash for years and it is consistently, hands down the greatest car wash in America. I recently moved out of the area and the only thing that I miss is this car wash. All the washing is done by hand, they rub and dry everything so there is no spotting, the windows are left bright and clear, everything is always put back into the car organized, neat and tidy. All of this service is delivered with a smile and a warm handshake. I was in such a rush the last time I was there, I forgot to pay. The guilt has followed me for months. I went to this hand car wAsh for the first time, the service was Horrible! after they"washed" and dried my car.l, I had to park my car around the corner from the car wash and dry it ... they least it dripping wet and the windshield has a smeared film on it...I don't think they wash the rags they "clean" the cars with....I would definitely not recommend David's car wash at all. read more

I almost don't want to write this because I don't want these guys to blow up and get super busy - but they deserve it. Originally went in just to get new tires, mentioned that the sunroof had been leaking and Romin (the GOAT) immediately figured out the problem and fixed it. Since then, have gone back several times for everything from oil changes to serpentine belts to brake pads and more. Always fair prices, and always super fast turnaround (a few hours max, even with no appointment.) Super friendly and knowledgable staff. Can't recommend enough. read more

Not the cheapest but I was able to kill two birds with one stone. The customer service was great - every single employee I interacted with was friendly, helpful, and had a great attitude. These guys are terrific. I live in the neighborhood and when my car stalled due to a dead battery, one of the mechanics walked over to my house and graciously started it for me. They didn't even charge a thing for the repairs either, just asked that I do future business with them - that's being a great neighbor. Horrible car wash. I came to get a quick fix before date night and regretted it as soon as they started "washing" the car. Washed semi wet, did two passes with a brush on the roof and the car was basically wet when he was done drying it. If I can give zero stars I would. I started hearing a strange noise coming from my car on a Saturday at 7pm and found that this place was still open (thank goodness!). Reviews were great which was also reassuring. Turned out to be a minor repair and it was very reasonable. They renamed to erase a horrible Yelp history. THEY ARE CRIMINALS. See 23 horrible, scary reviews on google. The first person writes 'Unbelievable SCAM' .... it goes on from there. They have some fake wonderful reviews. The stories on Google reviews included one fellow who got $850 in parking tickets from local police when Two Guy Auto left his car on the street. Another person went for an oil change and got a $1200 bill. Still more people added horror stories of overrun estimates and misleading diagnoses. What won't these guys do?? Save your time, save your money, find a real mechanic. RUN do not walk to the nearest exit!!! read more

By far the most honest auto repair I've ever dealt with . Very good people. I brought my car in for a steering shaft replacement and they discovered I need new brake rotors as well . I agreed to the rotors but warned them that the braking system on my car was complex as it's a Ford hybrid and messing with the brakes can often result in having to reset the very complex computer system ... and i was hesitant because I had no additional money to spend for anything like that . They said it wouldn't be an issue but sure enough it happened as I suspected and they had to outsource the car to another person to reset it . I only had my initial budget to work with so therefore couldn't pay anything additional for the reset . They were 100% understanding and simply asked me to pay any amount extra if I could spare it . I offered what extra I could and then they said to not worry about it . Basically they ended up making no profit off of my repairs and did not make any fuss whatsoever about it . They also said they understood because of the current covid situation that money is tight for everyone . Car is working great again and I'm thankful to have dealt with such kind, understanding and honest people. A rare find ! Highly recommend David's. read more

If I could give ZERO stars I would. NEVER use the REPAIR shop. I have a beautiful Fiat 500X that never had issues. I had it serviced always at the Fiat dealership. This time I was too far so I decided to get it done here. They offered oil change and free car wash. Seemed like a good deal. After the oil change I started hearing "jing jing" in the puddles of Manhattan. I brought the car back to had the mechanic sit in my car as a drove around the block and he heard it. So, he agreed to look at it. I stood there and he lifted the car. Immediate observations. 1) Screw from the plastic protector under the car was missing. Plastic was loose and water could have swept in causing long term metal damage. 2) I noticed that the plate that keeps the frame of the car in place had a screw missing!!!! that was the jing jing! Do not tell me that it may have come loose on its own because the plastic covers it, it is impossible that it would have been loose. BE AWARE. This is typical scam that mechanics pull so you damage your beautiful car and bring your car back so they fix other problems. I DEMANDED a REFUND and went back 3 times. 3) They don't have a electronic filing so they insisted on finding my oil change among their thousands of filed receipts!!! But because this was on purpose done, I wanted to make a point so this doesn't happen again! The owner has to loose enough so they know not to scam and damage my beautiful car! That would have permanently damaged the frame of my car had I not gone back !!! Do not get your "car oil" changed. EVER. read more

Have mixed feelings overall about this place, but I'll share the facts of my experience and let you be the judge. I recently got into my car with a flat tire, and my car was towed to David's (it was the closest mechanic my insurance company would tow to). I let them know the car was on its way, and a couple hours later, the receptionist (very friendly) notified me that a mechanic would need to look at it the next day. They called the next day telling me the tire needed to be replaced and it would cost $350. It seemed overpriced compared to what I had researched online for tires that fit my car. I sent them a few options to see if they had them in stock (they didn't). I asked for the name/specs for what they were proposing, and they e-mailed me three options (just brand names). Then a different man called me, threatening to leave my car on the street if I did not pick it up immediately ('if it gets a ticket or hit, it is not our responsibility'). I was shocked, and felt pressured to have it repaired quickly. Once I agreed to one of the options, the pricing went down, and their demeanor went back to being friendly. When I came to pick up the car, the person who checked me out was nice and helpful, and the car was washed which was great. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, with the exception of the hostile phone call. read more

Finding an honest and competent technician is very hard to find. I was fortunate enough to have brought my vehicle here. I have been here on several occasions and they have treated me with respect every time. There work is impeccable and I have no doubt in my mind that they can handle any issue thrown at them. Overall very good service and pleased with the results. I brought my car in due to my check engine light being on and a problem with the air injection pump and oxygen sensors. I'm subtracting a star due to the fact that when I went to leave the check engine light was still on due to something that was missed. That being said, the manager was extremely nice and kept my car overnight to figure out what they had missed and did not charge me anything additional after I had already paid. Another reason I subtracted the star is because the front desk staff albeit being extremely friendly did not seem to know what was going on and I had to call back several times before she figured out what was going on with my car. Again, I'm happy with the service, the staff was friendly and very very honest, reasonably priced and I did not feel like I was getting ripped off. The cherry on top was a free had car wash :) thumbs up for davids auto as I was very skeptical about getting auto repair in Brooklyn but their good reviews helped to get me in the door. read more

I got a flat tire light on and this guys were able to diagnose the vehicle without a notice. It turned out to be a sensor problem. Fixed it quickly and I was on my way. This place blew me away. I brought in my company car to get repaired. A little on edge, expecting to be talked down to and have to have my guard up, but they were so nice! They put the car in the stand right away and showed me the wear on the brake pads and rotors. The guy provided a fair estimate very quickly, and the car was ready for pick-up in a matter of hours. I never ever write reviews but these guys were so great, I felt I had to! My car's A/C stopped working during the heat wave a few days ago, of course. It was around 9pm but I was desperate to try to get it fixed. I decided to see if there were any repair shops that were open and David's popped up on my maps. These guys were so lovely. They stayed late just to fix my a/c and the cost was really affordable! They even offered me and my friend free soda's while we were waiting. AND they gave me a voucher for a free car wash! Just got a car wash to get rid of all the snowy grit from parking on the street. They really do wash each car by hand, scrubbing every inch and drying too. It's not as fast as the drive-thru options but they are much more thorough and, at $18 for inside and out, its a really great deal. Plus, they are super helpful and have free coffee while you wait. read more
