I have to give a shout out to the ladies at David's Bridal Collections in Buckhead, in particular Connie. I have to give a little background first: I had a less than desirable experience at another David's Bridal location. I would tell ANY bride not to make an appointment on a Saturday or Sunday because it was sheer chaos on my visit. My consultant was sweet but I felt like I was sharing her with 3 other brides at the same time and little one-on-one attention. I also felt pressure to order in November (my wedding date is end of April), because I was told the dress would take 12 weeks to come in. I picked up my dress last Sunday. Once again the original store location was chaos. No one really helped me as I tried my dress on. I put the dress on and almost had a tearful meltdown in the dressing room because it was not the look that I remembered the first time I picked it out. I learned the lesson to never try on a smaller size if the store doesn't have your size on the rack - because the dress in your real size does not look the same on you as the smaller version. AT ALL. Only try on the dress if they have a sample in your own size. Anyway, there were so many people there that I chose to take the dress and leave. I looked at my receipt and saw that it said "All sales final", and had the real tearful meltdown. My fiance called the store and was told that I was welcome to exchange it provided the tags were still on and I had the receipt. That's good news. I decided to handle my exchange at the David's Bridal Collections store. I called the store immediately that day and spilled the whole story. I was told not to worry, they were going to make sure that I had a dress that I loved. I asked what appointments were available that week during their slowest time. I got to my appointment and I was lucky to be one of only 2 brides there. Connie was assigned to me and she again assured me that she was going to find me "THE" dress. We also discussed that I also would likely have to buy off the rack because we are now 3 months away from the big day. Connie and I found THE perfect dress and it fit me like a glove. The only alteration it will need is the bustle. So, even though I spent a little more on that dress, I'm 100% happy and in love with my dress, and the cost of alterations of the old dress offset the extra I paid. I was so relieved that no one tried to make me feel bad for having to exchange, or for switching consultants. Connie was a TRUE professional and made me feel like all of my stress lifted from my shoulders. All of the ladies were very sweet in the store and I would absolutely recommend them to any bride out there. Job well done! read more

Well where do I even begin? I seriously LOVE this bridal store, the staff is just WONDERFUL!! Back in July of this year I bought a dress in Orland Park, IL. I was with my mother, who offered to pay for my Bridal gown, but in the back of my mind I knew she didn't have much to spend. So on the visit I decided to say "Yes" to a dress that wasn't my favorite because I was worried about her bank account. As soon as it came in the mail, I tried it on and I cried in my room by myself thinking... "How am I going to tell my mom that I don't love this dress? I feel like such a spoiled brat!" Well, as you may realize, a few months had passed. When she came to visit me in Atlanta, I tried it on for her and just came clean. We both cried (mostly because we both felt bad) and she of course told me to get the dress I LOVE. So now what!? Will I be able to return a dress that was paid in full? Could I exchange? What if I couldn't? Could I get it altered to the way I TRULY want? SO MANY QUESTIONS and I was really stressing out. I decided to take a shot in the dark and call the Davids Bridal Collection in Buckhead where I live. I was able to speak to a manager (Maya) and told her my story. Maya was truly a GOD-SENT. She explained that the policy is normally 30 days for exchanges, but she would be willing to schedule me an appointment to come check out some dresses in the store. When I arrived for my appointment, I was shocked at how boutique-like the store was! The collections were STUNNING. I asked for Maya and she came out of the back room to personally greeted me. After that, she asked me exactly what I was looking for and walked me through the entire show room. It was almost as if she read my mind on what I was looking for in a dress! Funky, little bit of class, little bit of sass. She set me up with a room and made sure to tell the consultant my story. "Carly is here to try on some dresses to see if she loves something else or falls in love with the dress she already has!" Well I'm happy to say that the day of my appointment is the same day I found THE dress!! I could not have been happier! So thank you Maya for going above and beyond and saving me from a whole lot of stress later! You are a beautiful person and truly awesome. Over the last few months, I have been into the David's Bridal in Atlanta and have had nothing but great experiences. Most recently, I had my daughter to try on two dresses (for upcoming weddings) and luckily realized that the zippers would not go up. I took both dresses to the store and meet Kysha. Kysha quickly reordered both of the dresses//even though one wedding was only 6 weeks away. She told me it would be back in time. She was right on her word! I left the store today with one zipper corrected for the wedding in 3 weeks. The other dress still did not zip (even though Kysha has magic "zipper" hands and could get it to zip. She understood that I did not want to have any problems on the day of the wedding and told me that she would get the zipper replaced for me. Priscilla (I believe--the store seamstress set an appointment with me for pickup and guaranteed she would put a better zipper in. Kysha is patient and reassuring and knows what she is doing. Priscilla made me feel much better..I was afraid it would cost to do this but they both told me that it was their responsibility to make this better for me...wow..great service right! I would suggest that David's Bridal invest in using better quality zippers on their dresses (or design their own)...This would be the only constructive feedback that I have to offer. A few years ago I left a David's Bridal Shop (not this one of course) in tears so rightfully so I, was nervous to go back again. When I arrived 7/22/16, I was warmly greeted by the lady at the front desk call Bria. I instantly felt this was going to be a much better experience. I explained to Bria that I had a horrible experience before and she assured me that this was not going to be the case on this day. I believed her and waited on my consultant to arrive. Maya arrived, introduced herself with a smile shook my hand and proceeded to ask me what I was looking for. I was a open but she made sure to ask my price point and also asked me what I didn't want in an effort to not waste trying on dresses I did not like. Although she was a little bit too rigid at 1st, I appreciated her direct approach. I did not know if I was going to purchase a dress or not but she made it that much easier for me to make a decision. What I most enjoyed or appreciated is the fact that these women listened and were extremely professional. Everyone I encountered here was amazing! Let me not forget Ms. Irma who I met in alterations on 7/28/16. She is the sweetest lady ever!! She called me perfect, gave me high fives and was just an all around joy to work with! My best friend and I have been searching for her wedding dress for roughly 3 months. She and I have both visited Anya's Bridal and the customer service there was terrible, the dresses were overpriced and the layout off the dresses puts you in the mind frame of a close fitted thrift store aisle (but worse). The young lady who my best friend was partnered with to provide her expertise was unfriendly and had no sense of style. Long story short, we took a trip to David's Bridal near Lenox and as soon as we walked in we were greeted with smiling faces and a warm welcome. The customer service was amazing to say the least and everyone was friendly. My best friend was partnered with Stephanie. We told Stephanie the details my friend was looking for in a dress and she was on top of things right away. The layout of the facility was neatly organized (unlike Anya's) so it wasn't hard for my friend and I to conduct a search on our own. Within 10-15 minutes Stephanie led us to the fitting room with beautiful dresses she'd found and we had in tow the dresses we found on our own. Stephanie's attention to detail, her product knowledge, and her genuine sense of care and concern helped us find my best friends dress for her magical day. Sarah F. was an amazing help. Okay, first off, I started at Aurora's with an appointment. I was looking for a dress fast, on a budget and in a certain size range. They had nothing for me and really made me feel like I was being pushed along for wasting their time. I went over to David's Bridal with no appointment and was greeted warmly, shown a selection in my PRICE range, my SIZE range (and I am plus size) and things that were AVAILABLE that day! I was on a time crunch and instead of telling me how behind I am, and stressing me out more, Sarah comforted me by telling me how they get people who are in a day before and even had people in same day with their hair done and all. She pulled several dresses for me and I was able to find my dress! Best part? It was a couple of sizes too small, she was able to have it shipped from a neighboring store with no effort on my part!!! She had it shipped overnight, and just in case, had me set an appt with the seamstress in the event I need a little adjustments when it comes in. I asked if she was an ANGEL or a MIRACLE worker? I am so GLAD that I just went over and sad that I wasted an appointment at Aurora's, when they could have told me over the phone they had nothing in my budget, time frame, or size. I made an appointment at the Kennesaw location the experience and service I received there was average nothing special. The staff was unenthusiastic and not very helpful. I thought since I had a appointment I would have a different experience. I basically just tired on dresses and the consultant was like do you like it or not. She never asked me what I visualize for my big day. However, I did find a dress that caught my eye. I insisted that I try it on. I literally had just started my wedding dress hunt and this was the first dress i tried on. However, after leaving the store I kept having second thoughts. So, I decided to go to the Peachtree location the next day. OMG! What a difference. The store was Stunning, Clean and the Staff was friendly. I actually appreciated that my consultant was very knowledgeable and patience with me. I tried on the dress for the 2nd time. And I felt amazing in it. I knew instantly it was the one. I wanted my dress to make a statement to have elegant, chic, and vintage look to it. My consultant jacked me up with the heels, jewelry, veil etc. He took the time to make sure that I absolutely loved my dress and that I felt good about my decision. I wasn't planning on buying my wedding dress the day I went in, as I didn't have family or friends with me. I was open to looking around to see if I could find a particular style I might be interested. Alex Costello was my sales associate and couldn't have made the process more positive and exciting for me! He listened carefully to all of my wants and concerns in what I thought a dress should look like, as well as the wedding day details and atmosphere I was wanting to have. The dress I ended up purchasing wasn't even out on display in the showroom, but was something he pulled from the back after we discussed what I had in mind. I couldn't have asked for a more positive experience! We laughed, got teary-eyed, and found the dress! Alex was so reassuring and encouraging throughout the process. As a bride to be, I was nervous that I would get swayed or feel pressured into buying something that day, but I didn't. I didn't want to purchase the dress without family there, so they put the dress on hold for me until I was able to go back the very next day to buy it! Working with Alex and the staff at David's bridal was such a positive experience for someone who didn't really know what she was looking for. Thank you David's Bridal for making my wedding dress experience exceptional! From the moment I walked in to find my dress until the moment I took my dress to my big day - the staff was amazing and put me so at ease. Finding the dress was fantastic - Peyton really listened to what I wanted and delivered the perfect dress within my budget. She was so wonderful to work with and made me feel so beautiful and special. The alterations mavens, Denver and Yvette, were phenomenal! Yvette was amazing - she nailed it the first time and made me feel gorgeous! My mom and I had a blast working with her - she made us feel relaxed and special. She also added a really special touch to my dress using veils from my mother and family members who had passed away - it was the perfect way to have them with me! And while Yvette got my alterations right the first time the stress of the wedding made me shrink! Denver got me in and ready less than a week before my big day! She was so awesome to work with and her reassurance left me with no doubts the dress would be perfect in time for the wedding. On September 21, 2019, I was in Atlanta, GA, for my son's wedding. Three hours prior to the time I needed to be at the church, I decided to iron the front of the dress that had creased during travel, that I had purchased from David's Bridal in Poughkeepsie, NY. When I removed the iron, I saw that I had burned two quarter sized holes in the front of the dress. I started bawling and called my daughter who was getting hair and makeup done. We searched online and found a David's Bridal store six miles from the hotel at 659 Peachtree Street, NE. I went to purchase another of the same dress but there was none, not even at other nearby stores which the attendant had checked online. The very helpful attendant then checked with alterations and the dressmaker said she could fix the damage. After close to an hour, the dress was looking as though nothing had happened to it. I asked to speak with the dressmaker and I hugged her and burst out crying, thanking her for the miracle she had performed. And I was not charged anything! Thank God for people like the attendant and dressmaker for going to extra mile to help others. They turned a horrible situation into a blissful one. I hope management give them kudos!! read more

This location receives 5 stars from me. I picked out what I thought would look nice on me but none of the dresses worked. Then one of the stylists recommended a dress that was perfect and it was on sale! Still way out of my budget but the dress made me look like a million bucks. I ended up getting it. I then scheduled my appointment with alterations. My appointment was with Denver. The dress that was ordered for me was way too big so it had to be reordered. Denver and the staff searched high and low for my dress. This was in December 2015 and my wedding date is 2/13/16. I was concerned that there would not be enough time. Denver assured me that they would work to have my dress in time. My dress arrived. I expressed my concerns about the dress and how I would like for it to fit. Denver heard me perfectly. My final fitting went great! I have no complaints about David's Bridal in Buckhead/Atlanta, Georgia. The staff is very professional, knowledgeable and want to make sure that you are happy with your purchase. And Denver - she is "top notch" in professionalism. She is gifted and loves what she does! I had a Bridal appointment at 1:30 and my bridal party appointment @ 3. When I say from the moment I 1st wakes in til we left it was AMAZING. My consultant Mia did an awesome job. I had dresses saved on Pinterest account. I showed her and immediately she told me which dresses she knew they had in store. After getting me in a dressing room, it was on. She brought 4 dresses up starting out. The 1st dress I tried on was gorgeous which happened to be the 1 she picked out along with my choices. I showed my family the dress and everyone loved it as well. Retreated and tried on 3 more dresses (1 I didn't like which was 1 of my original choices). Ended getting the 1st dress because it kept calling my name. Purchased a veil and went up front to check out. Showed Mia my bridesmaids dress choices. The one I originally wanted was discontinued BUT Mia found a similar one and suggested adding a rhinestone belt and it blew us away. From the front desk ladies to the ladies that helped out with the accessorizing and corset bra my crew and I enjoyed every second of it. If I could give out raises, the ladies there deserve it. While everyone at David's Bridal Collections store in Buckhead is lovely, the real star of my appointment there last weekend was the incomparable Coni. She is personable and just fabulous to work with. She knows the designers, the styles and makes excellent recommendations. I came to my appointment accompanied by all 4 of my sisters and we all agreed Coni helped make the dress shopping experience the absolute best we could've hoped for. I had not done any previous wedding gown shopping, and I was expecting just to try on a few different styles and get a feel for what I liked. I expected to feel overwhelmed by the process and did not think I'd actually find my dress on the first try. Coni listened to what I said I liked, took note of what I didn't like of the dresses I was trying on and made a recommendation to me that ended up being the dress I came back the very next day to purchase! It is everything I wanted, and I truly feel its not just the best dress for me in that store, but it is the best I could find anywhere, especially for the price. I went to this David's Bridal location for my second bridal appointment, after having narrowed my search down to 2 dresses. This store had my top dress in a smaller size (which I needed to better see how it would actually fit) and the boutique store itself was absolutely beautiful! The wedding gowns are displayed where you can see each one outside of the garment bag and the mirrors are HUGE (great for helping make such an important decision). Better than the attributes of the actual store, the employees there were so great. The girls at the front were accommodating and friendly, and my consultant Alex was very attentive, knowledgeable and helpful. He truly went above and beyond to help me see what a fitted dress would look like on me, see how I felt walking all over the store in the dress and talking me through my decision. I left yesterday having found my dress, and I have Alex to thank for helping me confidently make that decision. I cannot wait to see the dress when it comes in, and am hoping to not need alterations. They went above and beyond any expectations I ever had for a wedding dress shopping experience. I had a pretty bad one at the davids bridal store in Franklin, TN so dealing with the store in Atlanta was like night and day. They made me feel like I was the most important person there. Everyone came over to see my dress and give opinions. They were all very genuinely sweet people. They understood I drove over 4 hours to get to their store so they bent over backwards to ensure I found the perfect dress. They even squeezed me in for a bustle fitting while I was there so I wouldn't have to make another trip. I could go on and on but I will keep it short and say that you will not regret going here for your perfect gown. I cried, I laughed, and I hugged everyone goodbye because I was so appreciative of how they treated my mother and I. Special shout out to Ms. Kysha Terrell (assistant store manager) who personally helped me find my dress...she even took the dress from the mannequin for me which ended up being the one I bought...Ms. Verdell (store manager) and Ms. Priscilla (alterations). I am a bridesmaid and have to give a huge shout-out to the alterations team at David's Bridal! I was on a very short time-crunch and was very stressed about getting everything done on time. When I went to pick up my dress - without an appointment - they immediately gave me assistance and had me try the dress on! I realized that it didn't fit quite right and that I needed alterations. With only two weeks to go before the wedding day, one of the alteration ladies squeezed me in right then and worked with me to figure out what would make this dress fit how I was imagining. My appointment today to pick up the finished dress went better than I had expected. I was taken right back and put into my dress which fit AMAZING! I am so happy, it looks beautiful:) On top of that I did not want to run around looking for jewelry to match, so the ladies even spent some time with me picking out a few pieces that match and look great. Last weekend I went in to the store hoping to find my dream wedding dress. I had already picked out my styles I wanted and was beyond excited. I quickly became worried when the manager told me that store did not carry the designs I had favorited. However, sweet Vadell, the store manager assured me she could pull some things from the back that would suit my taste. At this point I was skeptical. But I'm just gonna tell you, this woman knows her stuff!!! She picked 3 dresses for me to try. By the time I reached my second I had found the one.. I must also add that this would not have been possible with out the help of the lovely Brittny! She was so upbeat and positive it really helped when I was unsure of my decision. Not only did she help me find the perfect dress, she also got me directly into the alteration room with Ms.Denver! She made the alteration process go so smoothly I was sad to leave. Over all it goes with out saying without the ladies at this store, I would not have found my dream wedding dress! I truly feel like a princess and they are my fairy godmothers!! read more

I had a GREAT experience choosing and purchasing my bridal gown from David's Bridal in Buckhead! It was mostly due to my two FAVORITE sales associates, VERDELL and MAYA!!! They were awesome in assisting me to find the right gown for me...meaning the one that was best for my body type. They both were very patient as I tried on SEVERAL gowns until I decided on the one for me. They offered great accessory suggestions as well. I did have experiences with other sales associates in the store, however I found that Verdell and Maya were the most sensitive towards my needs and feelings as the bride. This is a very special and sometimes stressful time for the bride and it's always nice to be met with sensitivity and thoughtfulness no matter what job you are performing (the store employees) or the CRAZY mood that the bride may be in! Thanks VERDELL and MAYA for being more than the average sales associate, but for making my experience a pleasant one! I recommend this location, but I specifically recommend Verdell and Maya, to all future brides in the area! :-) read more
