Wow! This is not like a normal David's Bridal, very upscale and neat. I came in with some of my family to pick out my dress and it was such a wonderful experience! A random decision to go dress browsing with my mom while visiting her in Atlanta turned out to be the best decision ever! The moment we walked in a saw THE dress on display, I knew that's the one I wanted. I had a great experience shopping at David's Bridal in Buckhead!! This location is 100% better than the Kennesaw location. This David's Bridal is much more professional and similar to a boutique style experience as compared to Kennesaw's Wal-Mart experience. The two locations may have similar if not the same dresses, but the personal attention you experience at the Buckhead David's Bridal location is by far much, much better. I recently had an appointment at your David's Bridal Collection store in Atlanta, Georgia for Friday, May 2nd that my Mother flew in from Florida to attend. My appointment was at 12:00pm and we had arrived to the store at 11:30am; I explained that I was running a little early but if we could just look around at Bridesmaid dresses in the interim of waiting. The male sales associate explained that his 11:00am appointment was running late and they would have to push my appointment to start around 12:30pm. You could only imagine my frustration with having a completely booked weekend of appointments for the short time my mother is in town that I am already running into difficulties.This was also my first time ever with trying on wedding dresses and needless to say I was disappointed. I don't understand why you wouldn't take a client that was not only on time, but early versus a client that was over thirty minutes late and still was not at the store. I walked outside and called your store in Kennesaw and spoke with Amy, she offered for us to come up and try wedding dresses on there. Never once did I receive an apology from your David's Bridal Collection store when I cancelled my noon appointment. When I arrived to your Kennesaw location, Melissa one of the managers apologized on behalf of the Atlanta location and immediately had gotten me set up with our stylist Amy. I do not have enough kind words for the way everyone in your Kennesaw store had treated my Mother and I. Amy was AMAZING and helped me find the perfect dress. When growing up imaging going to try on wedding dresses and feeling important not only to the friends and family that are with you, but also wanting that same response and excitement from the store you are at was definitely how your entire staff, especially Amy and Melissa at David's Bridal in Kennesaw treated us. I plan on going back for my alterations and any accessories just because I know I will be treated properly. In the meantime I have NO intention of recommending your Atlanta location to any friends or social media sites because I was strictly another number for them and that is not how any bride should feel walking into a store during this special time. read more

I did make an appointment before coming because of the reviews, but I had no problems once I was there. The staff took care of me and the other groups all seemed very happy. The staff here was really friendly and accommodating. My sister and I walked in without an appointment and they set us up right then and there with one. While I didn't find any dresses that really wowed me, I liked the convenience of being able to buy everything you need in one shop- had I purchased a dress here, I could have gotten my veil, shoes, undergarments, and jewelry, AND a voucher to get my dress cleaned and preserved for much cheaper than the current going rate at other stores. The lady helping me was fantastic too, more like a BFF than a salesperson. I don't think it could hurt to check out the store if you're shopping for a dress. Maybe I'll have better luck there with my bridesmaids for their dresses. read more

Currently been waiting for 15 minutes. No one has addressed. Even made an appt for 12. Got here at 11:45 for alterations. The lady at the front was very nice and sent me back and stated someone would be right with me. Three or four women have walked by but no one has addressed me. This one women (assuming she was a bride looking for veils) grabbing everyone that walks by asking for their opinion. Finally someone came to me 5-10 mins late and squared me away. She was great though. I'll have to look at my receipt to get her name. read more

I returned a pair of shoes and it's going on 60 days without a refund. I've emailed them 5 times and each time they tell me they have "escalated" up to another department but never return an email...each time I've had to follow up! I've provided verification of them receiving the return. I have no idea why my credit hasn't been processed. Awful customer service and obviously very poor management...very disappointed! read more

My daughter ordered and paid for her dress Feb 16 2014, she still doesn't have her dress. The Bridal Consultant was amazing and the selection was great. We found the dress on the first appt, but once we got to the check out desk, everything went wrong. We were told we would have her dress in 6 to 8 wks, but it arrived after 12 wks. My daughter had to call in to see if her dress had arrived after 12+ wks and the person on the phone said, oh it arrived a few days ago, we just have not had the chance to call you. Then when my daughter went to pick up her dress, they had ordered the incorrect dress and over charged her $250. She was told they shoulld have her dress mid July. We will see. I would not recommend them, unless your wedding is 12 months away, in case they order the wrong dress. read more

I made my appointment several weeks prior because this was an out of town trip for me. My bridesmaid and I arrived 15 minutes early to check in because we wanted to be sure to be on time in a high traffic area. We were greeted and checked in well enough and told that someone would be with us shortly. 20 minutes or so after my scheduled time no one has come to get us. The girls at the counter were busy so it took me a moment to get attention when I did they finally got us an associate to help. At this point I was already irritated because we were so far beyond our time. The girl asked what we were looking for and took us to see their selection. The selection to try on was very low (2 rows of dresses supposed to represent their selections in most all sizes compared to the 4 rows or more at the one in much smaller hometown). She kept pushing the Vera Wang line and saying that we would have to check for my color in each dress...even though I was stressing that we wanted the david's bridal collection in my color. It did not seem to matter what I said she wanted to push those dresses. I also was far more familiar with the current dress line than she was, which I found very disappointing. When we finally got in the dressing room and my bridesmaid was trying on the dresses all our attended did was gush over the dresses. She gave no opinion even when asked for an honest one. Overall it was very unsatisfactory and we left with no dress. My bridesmaid ordered online a few day later after talking to some friends and showing them pictures of each dress on. We have both been to other locations and had great experiences so this was highly disappointing. I will not go back to this location read more

I bought my dress here in September. I had 2 appointments at David's Bridal, 1 at Brides by Demetrios, and 1 at Kelly's Closet. The dresses at David's Bridal are affordable but feel and look more expensive. I did feel like most of the dresses were more generic bridal than what I was looking for but that said, i did find a dress that I love. My consultant was new at her job but she was a ton of fun and didn't push me to make a decision until my second appointment. She was not pushy in a trying-to-sell-me-something way but more in a helpful way, which i appreciated it. It is also awesome that you could get everything you need for your dress in one place. read more

Shortly after becoming engaged last year, I began looking for a wedding dress. I found one that I loved online in August 2015. There are 2 David's Bridals near me, however, neither one had the dress I wanted to try on in the store. They checked for me and there was no David's Bridal location in the entire state of TN that had the dress in the store. Bummer right? I was told that the nearest location that had the dress was in Buckhead. I live in Nashville, TN, which is about 2.5 hours away from Atlanta. I called the store to verify that the dress was indeed there. The next morning, I decided to get up and make the drive to the store. That is how much I loved the dress. They usually ship the dress to the store for free and charge a fee for shipping to your home. But they gladly waived that for me since I had driven so far and would have to drive the distance again if shipped to the store. I had to see it on. I arrived on time for the appointment I set. Marlon was my assistant and helped me during my dress fitting. As soon as I put on the dress and saw myself in the mirror, I knew it was the one! When I walked out of the dressing room, it was as if all activity stopped. People I didn't even know came over to see the dress and compliment me on it. Marlon gave me his honest opinion on how he thought I looked. Since I had come alone, the feedback was much appreciated. Even though the store was busy, it was not chaotic. It was organized and run efficiently. Everyone was friendly, and I got to ring the bell when I chose my dream dress. This David's Bridal is located in a beautiful part of Atlanta, however, it is a little hard to find if you aren't familiar with the area. I was told that this location is a David's Bridal Collections and that they get more dresses that are considered more exclusive than some of the other David's Bridal locations, which is why I could not find my dress in Tennessee. Well they made me feel comfortable and I tried on a lot of dresses their. At the end of the day there was a dress that I fell in love with but they did not have my size there. They help me find out which Davids bridal had the dress. The dress was all the way in Columbus GA. Yes 1hr 40mins away. I ended up driving there and I purchased the dress. This was my first stop for trying on dresses for my big day and I had a great experience. My consultant (Christian) was very helpful and worked fast at getting everything I asked for. A tip to new brides, I'd take only your mom or just a friend or 2. It's less over whelming for you to not have the opinion of 5 or more girls with different styles and it makes the consultants job a lot easier. I'd say it's a little over priced for what I was looking for, I ended up getting exactly what I wanted for a bit less at a boutique shop, buuut they do have a lot to choose from with in many budgets. I'd recommend a visit here. If you go on the weekends definitely make an appointment and you can try on as many as you'd like. read more

Recently, I needed to browse for an evening gown. I was welcomed by the receptionist (bleached blonde hair and very friendly) and she told me to browse and let her know if I wanted to try anything on. While holding a dress, I was stopped by two "consultants" and asked if I had an appointment as I couldn't try on dresses without one. If that's true, why did the receptionist tell me otherwise and why did SHE find me a room within seconds to try on a single dress? This is David's Bridal not Kleinfield. Lose the attitude. Maybe take a lesson from the lady at the front desk... My mom and I went to David's Bridal to find her a dress for my wedding. I had already bought my wedding dress and I wanted my mom to feel special shopping for the big day as well. The selection that my mother picked was minimal but the salesperson, Keysha, was more than helpful in finding a few options. My other did however find a dress she wanted "me" to try on due to the fact that she couldn't be at the initial purchase several months ago. The sales lady was on her way out for the night when she stayed very late helping me try on and purchase the new dress that I fell head over heels for. All the staff was very helpful and assisted me in getting a wonderful gown at a great great. Needless to say, my mother and I left very blessed and pleased with the visit. read more

The staff at this location are extremely unprofessional. I went shopping here for my wedding dress. When I told the woman behind the desk I was getting married in 5 months, she made a horrible expression. I did not say anything. The sales associate came to the floor to assist me. She seemed friendly. She followed me around closely even after I repeatedly told her I would like some time to look at the different styles. She sarcastically asked me if I had ever even tried a wedding dress on. She also told me that I was "kind of thick". This is such an inappropriate comment to say to anyone, let alone someone shopping for a wedding dress. I politely left and stated I didn't find anything for me. This lack of disregard for customer service and inappropriate behavior is apalling coming from a bridal store. read more

I went into the David's Bridal in Buckhead today and I was less than impressed. I made an appointment online to view bridesmaids dresses for my wedding party. I was greeted as I entered and was directed to the bridesmaids dresses in order to start looking through them while they assign me a consultant. My bridesmaid and I started browsing and a consultant (I forgot her name) came over after a few minutes and introduced herself. And this is where the service went downhill. My consultant basically just stood there as I picked dresses for my bridesmaid to try on. I asked her several questions and she just pointed me to the area like "go find it yourself". So I basically pulled all of the dresses and we started trying them on. As my bridesmaid was trying on the dresses my consultant just disappeared. I know she was probably working with another bride which is understandable since it was a busy Saturday but she never informed me of that and wasn't anywhere to be found for about 20 minutes. So during that time I was pulling more dresses and styles with no direction. My consultant finally came back just to "check on us" and quickly left again. After we finished, I didn't receive any information about their process or anything and I felt like they didn't care if I gave them my business or not. I went to the front desk because I assumed they would want to give me more information before I left and there were two consultants and one was helping someone and the other was going through some papers. I know she saw me standing there but never acknowledged me but when people came in behind me she quickly looked up and said she would be with them shortly even though I was standing right there in front of her. After that I left without even talking to them and was in disbelief at how rude and inattentive they were. I will not be back!! read more

Had a great experience shopping for prom dress here tonight with my daughter. Jasmine helped us out and gave us great feedback and after we picked a few dresses out and she saw what style we liked and what looked best on her she went and found a few more that were great. She had a great personality and connected with us and seemed to get what we were looking for and really helped to make the trip fun and relaxed. This is the 5th store we have looked at looking for a dress in the last month and while it was not as big as most of the other shops we have been to, this one we found the most dresses that we wanted to try on and found the perfect dress. Prices, while it was not a deciding factor in our purchase, was much more reasonable than other shops also. read more

Why would you go to a store to not try on the dress? You cannot return so you have to just guess. Dresses are overpriced. Wow! I had a wonderful experience today with my first( and thanks to Stephanie only visit) for a bridal gown. Stephanie was so attentive and really listened to what I wanted as a bride. She also found options that were equally as beautiful and within my budget. In fact, for only $200 more than my budget for the dress, I was able to get a gown, slip, shoes, veil, and accent belt. All which were 100% my style. I can't wait to work with her again to make my bridesmaid vision come true. read more

I had made 2 apppointments back to back, one for 2pm for bridemaids dresses and one at 3pm for a wedding dress. I called to let them know I was running a little late and they didnt even have my 2pm appointment in ther system. Yet i have a CONFIRMATION EMAIL on my phone. When we walked in we were not greeted. They seemed to be annoyed that I came in with all 8 bridesmaids. When I told them the consultant I wanted to try on weddings dresses and choose the bridesmaid dresses they said I only had time to do one or the other and that my session was only for an hour and a half. Yet I made 2 reservations so i could do both. We finally got to trying on bridesmaids dresses and we decided on the dress and color in the first half hour. Once she realized we made a decision and their was a possibility of my bridemaids purchasing their dresses that day, she majically found extra time for me to try on a wedding dress. When it was time to go I was so over their bad customer service and fake ass kissing that I told her to place my favorite wedding dress along with my bridemaids dresses on my profile so we can come back when its time to purchase them. I refused to give this store my sale. When I went to a store in Fort Myers they pulled up my profile and NOTHING WAS ATTACHED!. I ended up showing the lady in Fort Myers a picture of the dresses and she found them for me to try on. I ended up purchasing my favorite dress in Fort Myers. I will never go to the Buckhead store for anything. My bridemaids still need to purchase dresses and I need to purchase my bridemaids dress for another wedding. I rather drive all the way to Morrow then deal with the bad attitude from the Buckhead store. read more

Normally when I am throughly unimpressed I give one star, I give two because a few associates I dealt with were pleasant. Other than a few pleasant associates I wouldn't recommend this store to my enemy. I expect when you pay good money for a gown that you get good service. I came in to order a brides maid of honor dress by myself the associate asked for the wedding parties information, I told her that she did not need to know that because my sister did not get her wedding dress from here and that only the brides maids did, she kept insisting so I told her the information. Two weeks go by and my dress comes in, they so quickly rushed me out the door because they were closing due to weather...which was not even bad. Without me realize she ordered me the dress that the other bridesmaids got because she insisted on having their information. So half way home I realized that it is not even the dress I ordered, so I called them up and told them they ordered me the wrong dress and that before they can order me the right one I needed to bring the one I have back. Oh but can I do that on my only day off? No because they are closing early? So David's Bridal please explain how your associates are paid to do a simple task of ordering the specific dress I tell them to can't even follow those specific directions and I have to pay the price? I contemplated coming back for my wedding but you can't forget that and forget that I would ever recommend this establishment to anyone else. read more

THIS LOCATION IS AMAZING. I went yesterday for my first appointment. I went in with the mentality that I was using this appointment for finding what type of dresses looks best on me. My appointment was scheduled for 3 pm. We arrived right on time and met our consultant, Tera. She is the manager of this location and has such a bubbly, infectious personality. She immediately helped me talk about what I wanted to try, what I was not okay with, and pulled some dresses that I had seen online and was excited to try on. She welcomed my sister, mother, and future mother in law with open arms and appreciated their opinions. We are a loud silly bunch, and she completely embraced it. We started trying on dresses and she helped me identify exactly what type of dress I wanted. We ended up finding a beautiful dress, and I was so surprised to find one that I liked. I told her that it was my first appointment, and that I had a couple more the next day, and she encouraged me to go to at least one more, to get the experience. She gave us her card, and sent us on our way. Normally the appointment was supposed to be from 3-4:30 pm...BUT we stayed until 6 pm! She never rushed us, and never made us feel that she was pushing for a sale. The next day I went to ANOTHER bridal salon, and had an AWFUL experience. I could not stop comparing all of the dresses to what I had at Davids Bridal, so I cancelled all of my other appointments, called Tera, and asked her if I could come back. She moved all of her appointments to another consultant and told me to come in and she'd take care of me. I came back, and she asked if I wanted to try on new ones, and I told her I wanted the same dress from the day before and to get all dolled up. Immediately after putting on the dress, I felt instantly relieved, welcome, and not stressed anymore. Soon I had almost all of the consultants surrounding me, and letting me know that they were there for the positive experience I deserved, and were all willing to help out. Tera created the experience of wedding dress shopping that I was expecting, which was quickly soured at the second salon, then turned it back around to the experience that I expected and deserved, as every bride should. She gave me her undivided attention, so much more time that she didn't need to give, and more. I would recommend this Davids Bridal to ANYONE. Tera was amazing, and the other consultants were so supportive and so generally interested in my story. I shopping for a wedding dress. First, you need to know this store is boutique only so they only have retail dresses, no sale or clearance items. This makes their selection limited and sometimes very pricey. That is my only complaint about this store. My consultant was very professional and helpful. She took my requests and came back with a selection of 5 great dresses that actually fit and so it was easy to see what I would actually look like on the big day. Unlike most places that are squeezing you into dresses or pinning you in 20 spots just so you maybe get an idea of what the dress might look like when it's altered. I'm a size 16-18 in real life and again I felt like bc of my size the selection was very limited. There were other dresses I saw in the show room and wanted to try on but they did not have them in the store in my size to try on. Ultimately though, I would recommend this location to try on dresses. I didn't buy my dress here but I did enjoy the experience overall. read more

My daughter was told her dress would arrive in 4 months. 4 days later they called and told her good news, the designer had one in stock. The dress the designer had "in stock" was apparently a used dress. Seams had been let out, the dress had been shortened and hemmed, the back had an after market plastic button bustle, there were huge pink lipstick stains inside the dress, the hook was hanging by one thread in the back, lace was dingy and limp, appliques lifting, loose threads all over the dress. I didn't see the dress they delivered to her until several months later when we went in for her fitting. She had called them previously about the problem but nothing was done. They did hunt for a replacement dress for her and when we took time off work again and made the trip they brought out the same used dress! A new dress in acceptable condition was eventually found, however the promised discount was never given. They later claimed she purchased a discontinued dress (we were never told it was discontinued) and they had to hunt around to locate one. She received an email in which they said the first dress was one from their racks. Dresses in the store are not altered, hemmed and bustled! That doesn't happen until alterations. Unbelievable lies and contradictions from one person to the next. It was not the joyous event it should have been. I give them two stars for finally getting her a dress in decent shape. The consultant who helped us was wonderful. Too bad the company believes in selling used dresses and samples dresses off their racks as new and at new prices. read more

Definitely a terrible experience and it was because of the employee [I can't even call her a consultant because she did ABSOLUTELY nothing] assigned to us. I will not blame David's Bridal just because we have had such great experiences in the past. ******* came over to us and asked a few questions on what we wanted. I showed her the dress that I had been eyeing. She told me the type of fabric it was--I said, "Great, I also like this one." And she got a little snippy and said they weren't the same fabric. It was a little odd that she said it like that, but I let it go. She proceeded to have a long conversation about the drink I was holding--it's not what I wanted to waste my time doing. I was there with my close friends and mom-to-be---who had all traveled from afar; OH, IL and Athens, GA. I wanted to spend time with them and pick out a dress. She eventually walked away with no further communication on what to do. So, we combed through the dresses and picked out what we liked. Throughout the process, we would walk to the row of bridesmaids dresses and I would see ******* mumbling out loud to a co-worker about how hideous some of the dresses were. Not once did she ask how things were going or walk over to us until the girls had changed to their regular clothes. ******** immediately asked what size everyone was. We had no idea we had to try our size and we told her that. Why didn't she tell us this before the girls changed back into their regular clothes? We couldn't even find half of the sizes we needed, but the girls each tried on the dress in a similar size and agreed we wanted that one. We were under the impression they would get sized. She started with an attitude and threw the issue back at us saying it was our fault we did it tell her we had found the dresses we liked-I could see she lacked customer service skills and was not professional at all. She rolled her eyes and was very unpleasant to be around. My Matron of Honor and I held back just because my future Mother in Law was with us. We knew how to show respect--again another aspect ******* lacked. I hope she can receive some formal training from a manager or even from her successful peers on how to be professional in her workplace and know how to work with her customers. I am certain other customers would not have tolerated what we experienced. If David's Bridal would like the name of the employee, please let me know. Otherwise, I'm sure you have it in your records. read more
