My daughter had a scheduled appointment for bridesmaid dresses. The lady assisting was rude and condescending towards my daughter. She should not be working in a place to serve brides if she doesn't want to be there. At was so bad they left and went to Cameo Salon. They had no appointment but were helped by their staff receiving excellent service. David Bridial is a joke and hires people who just don't care. What was suppose to be a happy occasion was ruin by a person who was to serve my daughter and her wedding party. Frankly, I was disappointed. Davids' Bridal is a chain and well known. While the service and attention to my daughter, while she was trying on wedding dresses, was fine, once she went to pay for the dress, I was surprised and a bit shocked that any regard for service went out the window. The cashier was rude, curt, and lacked any patience. Something to know: they do not include alterations or pressing with the purchase. That is something that has to be purchased separately. My daughter was asked, "Do you want to pick up your dress here or do you want it shipped to your house?" Since she lives about 45 minutes away, she opted for shipping. Her dress showed up in an Amazon-type shipping bag! The dress is extremely wrinkled. What happened to the days of sending a nicely pressed dress in a garment bag? My daughter asked about alterations and the response? "That's on you." No explanation, no suggestions for what they offer or ideas of where else to find the service. You'd think in this business where thousands of dollars are spent in an afternoon, there would be someone going that little extra bit for you or some service like having your wedding dress presented nicely. Go to a smaller place. They will work with you to find that perfect dress. Don' fall for the big house of David's Bridal. read more

This was an excellent place to have my first bridal appointment. My consultant Earline, was really helpful. At first I was a bit skeptical that she would understand my untraditional vibe, but with each dress she really got closer and closer to hitting the mark. David's has some really really beautiful gowns for under a thousand dollars and this location on a Friday morning was practically empty, allowing my mom and I to enjoy our time with Earline. I will say in about an hour I was only able to try on 6 dresses. I've made an appointment for next month to come and keep looking! Also, this location is a little hard to find, but is central and large. Make sure you download the app ahead of time so you can show your consultant what you've favorited. read more

David's screwed my daughter and now she is out hundreds of $$$$. Honor your freaking return policy written on the receipts.. For purchases made before stores closed at end of March due to Covid-19 ( PS The government has programs to help businesses dont take it out from your customers). Daughter received her dress on April 6th. Dress didnt fit.. Needed to exchange or return.. store is closed, called and was told the the return would be honored for 30 days after the store reopened. So daughter purchased a dress through another vendor and now, today she finds out David's changed their return policy several days ago and are no longer honoring their written return policy that my daughter believed in. Do NOT EVER do any sort of business with David's bridal.. I wouldn't by a key chain from them! Never again! read more

Jeffery was my consultant. I made an appointment with a month left before my backyard wedding. Although I had a group with me, he navigated the tensions and the opinions with ease, making sure that I was finding something that I wanted. I happened to find a designer dress my size right off the rack with no alterations. He was able to navigate getting me the dress in time. Since out reception was going to be a few months out - I told him we would be back. Fast forward - a month before my reception....I wasn't sure the tea-length wedding dress was "me" - I LOVE the dress, but had in my mind i should have a long dress. Jeffrey again met me at my appointment. He allowed me to try on every dress in the store - but he (and I knew) that I didn't sparkle like I did with my first dress....although I didn't end up with a second wedding dress, he helped me confirm that my firs dress out of necessity and the fact it was an august outdoor wedding - that it was no matter what - the dress that was meant to be. I have been to other places, but he is fun, caring, and a joy to have on this journey. He also helped my mom with two outfits for the wedding ---- I wish I had more chances to come in and work with him! He is amazing!!!! The only down side is that when you reserve an appointment online, you can't specifically request him! Go on Mondays Tuesday and Saturday - i believe that is his current work schedule! read more

I had some free time since I he an appointment at a store next to David's bridal. I saw it when I pulled up and decided to take a look since everyone told me to go and see the dresses they had for my wedding in October. I want to start off by saying I'm sorry. I am sorry for this review, sorry if the person I ran in to was having a trying day, or anything at all to cause a bad mood. I was browsing and noticed dresses in sizes a tad bigger for me so was planning to ask where I could find some in my size. A gentleman approached me and asked me if I has been helped yet. "No" Him "well what kind of dress are you looking for?" Me"wedding dress" Him" when is your wedding?" Me "October, I'm trying to browse and look around right now " ( now I was going to ask to be pointed to a direction where I can find dresses in my size and then he says.. "Browsing, ok, please leave" and walked off to a back room for employees. I discovered his name was Jeff after addressing it with the staff up at the front. The ladies, once i told them, were genuinely concerned and wanted to help me resolve the issue, and I'm grateful for how they responded to me. They were truly lovely ladies, but the encounter with Jeff had me shaking from anxiety and anger, I was trying not to cause a scene or blow it up, so I told the girls I just wanted to bring this to their attention and leave. This was my second visit to this location, my first time it was crowded & the staff was being pulled in many directions but i received sufficient attention..enough to come back & OMG!!!! Thank goodness i did because Earline is amazing. She divided her time between myself and another bride but we didn't even notice bc it was like one big party. She made sure my grandmother was comfortable and my sister got all the perfect picture angles. I am so grateful...grateful that that i found my dream gown and encouraged by the words she spoke to me. I came to David's Bridal to shop for my bridal gown and found the ONE the same day! I made an appointment and luckily for me, I had Dianna Soard as my consultant. She provided impeccable service, beyond my expectations. She did not stop searching until she found my dress that I was hoping to try on (it was not originally out on the hangers but she went around to every part of the store to find it!) She felt like part of the family the entire time I tried on all of the other gowns. I will attach photos later (once i can reveal my dress!) but you can just see how genuine she was and how she really seemed to care about my ideas and opinions. She made me feel comfortable and confident so that I was able to really enjoy my shopping experience. Such a great consultant. She gave real input but made me feel beautiful in whatever I tried! Super professional and just an amazing person overall. I wish we would have had her for our bridesmaids fitting, but we were happy to run into her while waiting for check in, and she brightened our day with her positive attitude and wonderful personality. I hate leaving bad reviews, I really do. I work for a living and I get that you cant always make everyone happy. However! This experience crushed my wedding dress vibes. First, me and my family were forced to wait outside in the cold until 10am on the dot when they opened. It's polite to come a a few minutes early, or Atleast I thought so. So if you're the first appointment of the day like me, take your time getting there! When I filled out the survey with my sizes and expectations, I kind of figured they would of pulled some dresses for me ahead of time. Considering your appointment is only a hour and half, that's not a lot of time to look, decide, and try on. Yeah no! The stylist didn't even let me pick out dresses I liked. After she picked 3 or 4 dresses and got me a fitting room, she brought me a strapless bra (I take fault for this one for not bringing my own) which didn't fit. Wayyy to small. She be brought me 2 more to try. Now, you can look and me and tell I wear a size larger bra than most. It's obvious! Both of those were also to small. I'm giving her the benefit of the doubt, but I tell her "honey, you're gonna have to go up quite a few sizes" ... we she listened! And that was about the only time she did, and brought me one that I was literally swimming in. But I went with it. I tried on a couple dresses that were pretty but wasn't crazy about. Most of them were unflattering in the bust area because I had the wrong undergarment on (again, my fault). I found one dress I really liked. But needed a bigger size. She's gone for 20 minutes and comes back with the same dress in 2 sizes smaller than the original one. Uhhhh what?! She says "well this is the only other size we have. Sweetheart, if the larger size was to small what makes you think the smaller size will fit better? The dresses she did bring me, I wasn't a fan of, when I expressed that her, she would come back with a dress that was practically the same. My sister helped me in and out of every dresss. Every time I would come out, the stylist was gone, and was for most of my appointment. Clearly I knew she wasn't looking for dresses she thought I would like. She put my sister in time out for going and pulling dresses she thought I would like, and also told her clearance dresses aren't a option for me. What hell does that even mean? Plus size dresses don't come in clearance? Idk? I probably tried on a total of 5 dresses and I was over it. I made it pretty clear in my body language and tone of voice that I was less than satisfied. Then! She asks if I wanted to schedule a come back appointment. Have you lost your damn mind?! Just don't do it. And if you do, I sincerely hope it goes better for you and you're treated better than I was. Today I bought my dress, from a place that honestly cared about how I felt, cared about my time, and cared about me. read more

If I can give 0 stars, I would've because they definitely deserve it. HORRIBLE customer service. If you have an appointment, they'll basically just point you in the general direction your dress would be. Then they leave you alone and don't bother to check up on you. You have to hunt them down again to get any additional help. If you don't have an appointment, you might as well be invisible. They have a "welcome desk" by the door but they don't greet you as you walk in. Then even when you look completely lost roaming around the store and SEVERAL employees pass you, they STILL ignore you... When you do FINALLY go up to the "welcome desk" to ask for help after no one has acknowledged you for 30+ minutes, they look at you... No smiles with a MONOTONE voice and ask "can I help you". Can you be MONOTONE and sound like them helping you is SUCH a hassle at the same time? Bc these people do an amazing job with that. Possibly the only thing they are amazing at. I do not recommend this store if you want any sanity left in you after attempting to order your bridesmaids dress. Had a great experience today with Alexis Whyte! This was my first time trying wedding gowns on, and I was feeling overwhelmed before I even walked in the door, unsure of even the silhouette I wanted. Alexis, my stylist today, was super friendly and sweet. I explained what I had seen online, and that there were so many pretty dresses I liked- I showed her pictures. She suggested my family and I walk the front and rear of the store and pull a couple dresses I think I might like. I thought I'd really like a ball gown after picking through, but my mom pulled a beautiful fit-n-flare just in case. I tried it on first- Alexis clipped me in just right and I walked out. I loved the way I looked in it! We kept trying on, and Alexis helped me into one of the ball gowns I chose- I walked out and while it was pretty, it just wasn't right for me. Alexis paid really close attention to how I felt and what I really liked about the first dress, and went to grab some others she thought I would like. I thought I might feel awkward dressing and undressing with someone's help, but Alexis was very professional and put me at ease. We talked about good shows on Netflix, and found out she was a fellow band geek ;) she didn't make me feel pressured into any decision at all, and got a really good feel for my style (which even I can't quite describe). She sat aside the one I liked best, and we revisited it at the end of my appointment. She brought me a veil and headpiece that looked BEAUTIFUL with that dress- my group all agreed it was the best. While I didn't say yes to the dress today, Alexis certainly was a HUGE help in figuring out what I do- and definitely don't- like. :) ended the appointment with a great big hug, and would love to come back and have her as my stylist again! The only negative thing I have to mention was not the fault of anyone at David's- someone was letting their children roll around on the platform in front of the mirror, kind of interrupting the nice moment I was having. Went on for about half of my appointment, could've totally done without that. read more

I visited David Bridal in Rockville Maryland in October of this year to purchase bridesmaid dresses for my other two daughters. I called the store several times to inquire about my order and when would the dresses be available for pick, however, no one ever returned my call. After calling a third time today, I was told they had no order under my name, telephone number or email address. I was in complete panic mode as I couldn't locate my receipt. After an hour of searching, I found my receipt and provided the transaction number. The person was still unable to find me in the system. It was only after she asked for my information again, that she was able to locate my information and provide an expected delivery date for my dresses. The unnecessary stress this caused was extreme as my daughter's wedding is on 4/3/2022 and there is no time to try and reorder these dresses. The sheer incompetence of the staff was embarrassing. I vow to never, ever, use David Bridal in Rockville, Maryland, as this was the most horrible and stressful experience ever. read more

My David's Bridal experience went well! Compared to the 2 other bridal boutiques I went to, you can make this trip what you want -- rather than having to follow a standard appointment procedure, you can just walk around looking at dresses if that's what you prefer. And the prices are what made the decision. Before I came in, I had a $900 dress I liked elsewhere; here, I found a $350 dress that I liked just as much! The consultant here was nice, but I ended up finding the dress on my own. My main reservation about going here is to be aware that when you walk in and they have you fill out a form with your contact info, they send that info to soooo many other retailers, it is incredible. I could list easily a dozen retailers who mailed me or called me (yes, 4 different companies called my phone until I picked up) following my submission of that form to David's Bridal, in addition to further emails from DB's themselves for other offers. The only slight benefit of this -- not sure if it is worth it -- is that I got the groomsmen $40 off each rental at Men's Warehouse. You may want to withhold all your contact info for this reason. My best friend scheduled an appointment at David's Bridal, and to be honest, I had very low expectations. How wrong I was. Compared to the small boutiques we have visited looking for her wedding dress, David's Bridal has probably been the most positive shopping experience yet. Our salesperson, Brandie, was fantastic. She made us all feel welcome and spent a good deal of time listening to what the bride was looking for her in wedding dress, and pulled some beautiful dresses that fit her criteria. Additionally, she thought outside of the box and pulled some dresses that were similar to what the bride was looking for but that she would not have chose on her own. In fact, the Vera Wang dress that the bride will most likely end up buying was one that she did not want to try on, but Brandie insisted on "just for fun." She looks beautiful in it and is very happy! The only setback is that any custom alterations have to be done out of store. Additionally, Brandie was a great help in assisting with the bridesmaids dresses! Two of the bridesmaids in the bridal party live out of state, and it will be very easy for them to visit a David's Bridal near them and try their dresses on without making the haul to Maryland. I have to say that the bridesmaid dress I am wearing is (luckily) something that I will most likely wear again after the wedding! And the price was very affordable. Additionally, if my friend chooses to buy her wedding dress at David's, all of the bridesmaids will receive $20 off of their bridesmaids dresses! No pressure ;) This place is definitely worth a visit! The selection is huge and the prices are affordable. Ask for Brandie, but all of the salespeople seemed welcoming, supportive, and helpful. read more

My wedding was a few months away and I needed a dress. I came here on a Thursday evening and it was surprisingly crowded. My consultant, Coral, was awesome. She was fairly new and did a great job helping an indecisive person find a dress. Because it was so crowded she was assigned to multiple people which meant I was often left alone for several minutes at a time. At one point, I guess the management was upset that I was taking so long, but I had to wait almost 30 minutes due to overextending Coral's attention. She still did a great job helping me and finding my dress. I was her first bride too, so that's pretty cool. I was definitely rushed toward the end. They should have had a better way to look at different dresses, their method was to just walk around looking at hundreds of dresses. read more

*UPDATE* Davids Bridal contacted me and approved my special case return. Robert at the Glen Burnie location was super helpful and called a Las Vegas store to place a new dress on hold for me. He even wrote down all the info I needed to reference the dress. Needless to say, I got my new dress and I am very happy with the service I've received while dealing with this sizing issue. Thank you to Robert, and the online customer care for helping me in this situation. Save yourself the trouble and do not shop here for your wedding, because you'll be highly disappointed. I'm a bridesmaid and all the bridesmaids bought their dresses through Davids Bridal. The employee we had our appointment with initially gave us completely wrong information. She said the first alteration was free, the dress could go up/down 2 dress sizes, and we would be able to exchange the dress up until wedding day, even if we purchased online. All of this information were lies. Now months later, approaching the wedding day, I'm having issues with the sizing. I purchased my dress on David bridal online because the store wouldn't offer me the same online discount. The online store, and in store refuse to take my return back, even though I just want store credit for another dress. The fact they are so strict on returns when they're in such a sensitive business, and I'm sure many women buy their dresses far in advance and end up needing to switch a dress out closer to the wedding. I don't understand why they can't be more accommodating, I will remember forever how Davids Bridal f*cked me over for my best friends wedding. Davids Bridal does NOT care about their customers and clients. If you're getting married I would NOT rely on this company by any means. I've been going here to get my bridesmaid dress and shoes. Not once has anyone asked me how they can help me, even as I stand by the sign in place staring at the associates! Am I missing something? I get more help at a Walmart. I really don't think there's a reason to make appointments for the little service that's actually received. Perhaps it's different for the bride and her dress. Plus my dress was insanely wrinkled as I picked it up. I heard that steaming is complimentary. My stylist today was Jeff, and I can't recommend him more! I went in my with sister and mother today, mostly to figure out my wedding gown size, but Jeff rolled up his sleeves and got us to work! He made this an incredibly fun and relaxed day, on what could have been stressful and frustrating. We were making jokes like old friends within minutes, and he seemed to know what I wanted before I even realized my dress interests. He knew the products in the store and worked with my budget, no pressure. He even guessed my dress size without me having to even try on a single dress (nailed it). Needless to say, I walked out today with my dream dress, and a go-to stylist for future visits for all of my other wedding needs. 5 stars to him! read more

Tried on dresses here with a friend, just to see what I liked. It was a Saturday, my consultant was no where to be found when I needed her. I decided to get my bridesmaids dresses here because the quality is decent for bridesmaids dresses and the price is very reasonable, plus they have the colors I am using for my wedding. We found a winner dress for the bridesmaids. However, WE as the customers found it, again the consultant was doing 67 things at once and was literally no where to be found. I also purchased a small head piece hoping to wear it on my big day! When visiting a wedding shop, brides want an hour of attention to give you all the details and get the right dress. I now sometimes think I should of continued to look to see if I found anything I liked better. read more

I'm the maid of honor in my best friends wedding. She selected a dress online and requested her bridal party go try on sizes before ordering online (we all have hectic schedules so we couldn't get together as a group). So I called on a Monday to schedule an appointment to try on the style dress and shoes. (The bride strongly suggest we set an appointment to do so even though we were just trying on). Keisha took my call and was able to offer me MANY appointment slots during the week. I wanted to go right after work on Thursday and she was able to give me a time slot that was right after work. Overall the store is clean, and easy to locate. I was nervous about going to this particular store b/c of all the bad reviews. When I arrived, it wasn't crowded at all. A bridal party of maybe 6 ladies were checking out and they seemed to be happy. I wasn't very impressed with the ladies at the check in desk.. But their behavior might be excused for their young age. *They were talking about personal things when I was waiting for my consultant and complaining about working...* I arrived about 40 minutes earlier than my scheduled appointment but Candace was able to take me early. She quickly found the dress and shoes and led me to the fitting room. She helped me adjust the dress and even helped me take a picture of myself to send to the bride for her approval. Candace was fun, sassy, and made the fitting go by so quickly. If you have the chance to request someone, try to ask for her. My advice would be to try and go during the week, they don't seem to be as busy as the weekends. Overall the staff is really professional and helpful. read more

One of my friends used to work at this store years ago, so she recommended it. (This is also the flagship store for the region, as it is the largest and has more of a selection than any of the other DB stores in the area.) I found my dress on my first visit, but since I'd just gotten engaged and had just started losing a lot of weight, I wasn't ready to purchase. Over the course of the next several months, I DID visit one other bridal shop (smaller and more high-end) but my experience there wasn't nearly as enjoyable- they had NOTHING in my limited price range or size. A couple months later, I returned to DB to actually "say yes" to my dress with my mom and a few friends, and the same consultant who helped me the first time around (Robert) indulged me with other dresses, but we all knew my original choice was THE one. I didn't have my alterations done there simply because I wanted to go to a seamstress closer to home, but I would've if I lived closer to Glen Burnie. I would recommend this store and its staff in a heartbeat (and I have)! read more

My shopping experience wasn't bad by any means but the only person in this store worth five stars was my consultant Krystal. She stayed with me when I tried on all of the dresses and was offering suggestions and went and grabbed a few she thought I would like better. And one of those ended up being my dress! Aside from her However, there was a huge ordeal when I went to buy my dress and the cashier ended up swiping my card so many times that the bank froze my accounts for "fraudulent activity" and they were so worried about us "accusing them" of something that it made the whole situation that much more stressful. I was not mad at them and it was simply a mix up but they switched from accommodating to being defensive so fast. I spent the whole day bouncing between them and the bank to straighten out the accounts to not get triple charged for a dress. Well anyways the dress itself is beautiful and that is all that matters but just walk in with patience and Be willing to have a few bumps along the way. read more

I have shopped here a number of times over the years and bought a few dresses, from Prom to Bridesmaid to my own wedding. Each experience has been progressively worse as the years have marched on. This most recent experience takes the cake, however, and ensures I will NEVER go back of my own volition. I went with a friend to help her find a wedding dress. She made an appointment weeks in advance, had a list prepared and submitted it like she was supposed to, and brought a handwritten list to ensure they pulled the dresses she wanted to see. The individual who helped us put her in a bra that did not fit correctly and took moderately inaccurate measurements. He then disappeared. Because we had a schedule for the day, I had to dress my friend in the 20-some dresses made available. We had almost no assistance from that point going forward, which I found surprising for having made an appointment so far in advance. Once my friend settled on one possibility, the employee gave her mother and me the printout of her info and the dress. He proceeded to tell her that she'll forget the sheet and it's better to give it to Mom and the MOH for safekeeping. This was the final straw as far as I'm concerned. I certainly won't be back. First off, if you decided to use David's in GB, don't go on a weekend. The place is a zoo, but not so bad during the week. According to the sales associate I worked with, this Davids does the highest volume on the east coast. They have a very wide selection, and most everyone is at least helpful on the sales floor. The manager is courteous and efficient and will help to find alternatives if time is of the essence. I did get my dress altered in house, which I would not recommend. They did an adequate job, however they are disorganized, forgot to write my fitting appointment in the book twice, then finally told me to come in later in the week unscheduled and wait until they could squeeze me in, which is tough with school, work, kids, etc. Furthermore, their alteration prices are nearly double what you would pay a tailor elsewhere, making it no where near worth the hassle. Overall, it was less than awesome, but it did the job. No major problems with purchasing the dress, just go out of house to get alterations done. read more

I went here to look at Bridal gowns on a Wednesday afternoon. I would highly recommend visiting this store during the week. The clerk also said that this is their slow time (October-December) but that business picks up very quickly in January. The woman assisting us was very helpful. She ran to the racks to find smaller sizes for me and to find similar dresses to those I seemed to like. She even brought out headpieces to match the dresses. She was very knowledgeable about store policies and procedures, and what alterations could and could not be done. With regards to quality, some of the dresses, especially satin ones, seemed to be made of cheaper fabric than you'd find elsewhere. However, I tried on some absolutely beautiful dresses that looked stunning. It seems to be hit and miss, as with any clothing store. read more

So obviously, being a male, I did not purchase a dress here. I did, however, attend an appointment with my best friend who did purchase her wedding dress here. If you're looking for a high end, luxurious experience, then I would skip David's Bridal. The furniture is dated, there's drop ceiling, and some of the clientele are not people you would want to meet in a dark alley. However, all those negatives aside, the staff was pleasant and knowledgable, the selection was great, and the facilities were clean, even if the changing rooms were a bit small for a big, poofy wedding dress. If you're looking for the perfect dress on a budget then David's Bridal is probably for you. Don't expect champagne and a lavish changing room. Do expect to find the perfect dress for your shape and occasion, and on budget. read more

I had a wonderful experience here. I had gone to a David's Bridal in Rockville a few days prior and didn't have an appointment. So my mom and I went around looking for styles we liked and made a list. We made an appointment for this location and went in with ideas. We were helped by a lovely woman named Deena. I was able to try on a few dresses I liked at the other store, she found some beautiful dresses for me to try on and I was able to pull others along with my mom and my MOH and Bridesmaid. It was a wonderful experience for me. I was there on a Friday around noon. It didn't seem too busy and the store has a much larger selection that I expected. It was nice, I felt taken care of and I felt my needs and feelings were taken into great consideration here. My 5th dress I tried on was the dress! I tried on another after and it just didn't do that dress justice - I just knew it was the one. We put the dress back on and tried different belts and vales. I was wonderful! We ordered the dress and bought the belt. I was very excited to have found my dress. This was the first time trying on wedding dresses at all; I looked before and I had many ideas from Pinterest and this dress just was everything I had envisioned AND I felt beautiful in it. My first thought was "my fiancé is going to love this" and I knew I was sold from then on. It was a very smooth and wonderful experience. I didn't feel rushed or like I was pushed to the side. I enjoyed the dresses she picked and I loved that we still pulled others and I got to try on a few my MOH and bridesmaid enjoyed as well. This is my third time going to this David's Bridal location. I have gone twice as a bridesmaid and once, today as a bride. The first and second times, I had Alexis as my consultant and she was great. She came over and helped me pull dresses and provided excellent customer service as a bridesmaid customer as she was juggling brides. My main purpose of this appointment was to get an idea of different styles and how they looked on my body. This time, I was quite disappointed. I went with my best friend and two other family friends, about 15 minutes before our scheduled appointment and we checked in and were told to look for dresses while waiting for our male bridal consultant. After about 20 minutes after my appointment, my consultant showed up. He asked me to narrow the dresses down and I was shown a fitting room for me and my 3 friends. My friends and I got me into all of the dresses. I was not assisted getting into the dresses by the consultant and was not clipped into any of the dresses or measured at all. The consultant only pulled one dress for me, in a larger size than the one that I tried on. I'm not sure if male consultants are prohibited from helping brides into their gowns but I felt ignored and that his customer service was poor. He kept saying that he had helped so many different brides and that really it comes down to how the dress feels. He did not assist me in pulling different styles of dresses or ask me really want I wanted or give me options to try. Basically, if you want to run your own appointment and be left alone without a whole lot of advice about the dresses, not get clipped into dresses, and no feedback on what the consultant thinks will look good on you, this is the store for you. On my very first visit to the mega mall of wedding dresses called David's Bridal (DB), I was thankful that this wasn't my first dress shopping stop. Wow, what a selection! Rows upon rows of white, ivory, off-white, and even colorful dresses awaited me at every turn. After several previous stops at salons, my duo of a dream team was no longer new at sifting through heavy gowns and rapidly sizing up fit and match prior to the dressing room stage so the 1.5-hour appointment sufficed. Even on a weekend, DB was not crowded (a good thing for sure!) and I received some but not extensive attention, which was fine for my situation but if I desired more hand-holding and opinions from the salesperson then this would not have been the place to come. Unlike most bridal salons that assign a sales rep to work with each customer one-on-one, DB staggers the ratio to 1 staff member per a handful of brides so definitely come armed with your own staff (mom, aunt, bridesmaids, friends, whoever) if you want much of anyone's opinion. DB gets big, big, big bonus points for its late weekday and extensive weekend hours. This store is open on Sunday, an almost unheard of eventuality at numerous boutiques. Additionally, DB sells dresses for practically everyone one could imagine at a wedding (bridesmaids, flower girls, mother-of-the-bride/groom, etc.) and even rents tuxes. With plentiful locations nationwide, this would very well could be the place to go if your wedding party is geographically incongruent. A big plus to DB as well for allowing photography--from brides everyone, thank you for making choosing just that much easier! read more
