Negative star button! Initially wanted two pair of pleated dress pants for work. Didn't have the lesser expensive pants on special with free alterations but they did have the pants that charges you an extra $48 to hem the pant and pinch the waist. I know this guy told me it was free with the pants. Then Tyree promised that they could perform the simple task of heming the pants and providing a cuff. I made sure they couldn't get the ones with the pleats which at the time seemed legitimate. The advertising says it can be done why you wait but it was expressed to me that it would take one 7 day period / week. I agreed and exited the store after purchasing the pants. Upon my return 8 days later instead of the proposed 7 I was asked could I wait for the store to hem the pants for 15 minutes. As I waited the manager explained that he had a deal going that would get me two matching shirts, ties, and jackets if he registered the purchase and all of this for 110 extra. Meanwhile 1 hour passed and still no pants. After picking out the shirts and ties; and trying on the jackets the pants finally come out hemmed. One of them was right and the other was higher water pants with a cuff. I asked him to redo these pants and of course they came back with no cuff;cut off too much material. Meanwhile time is passing and I am missing two appointments. It didn't seem I would have to wait much longer but it took Tyree another 30 to 40 minutes to figure out how to tell me he lied to me about the prices. These people put a large amount of details into raising the price high retail and coming down to a high price to make you look like it is a bargain. So after ringing it up i am in a hurry to leave because I have two appointments. This is the worst customer service in the clothing industry. He tells me the price is actually closer to $300 more and apologizes profusely for he 8th time today. Yet he does nothing to fix the issue. I needed the clothing that evening so I took what I could get of my order, as I find out at the last minute the additional items I picked out were actually not in the store and had to be ordered. I am being very polite here. These idiots price gauge, lie, mis measure, over promise under deliver mediocre and extremely overpriced name brand junk geared towards rushing to purchase ; yet they are extremely poor in delivery. After I returned the next week to pick up the last of my items this idiot offered me more excuses and rationale as to why he couldn't do anything about it and he was sorry..yes sorry is right. I politely explained to him that I didn't want a percentage off my next purchase when my first experience was terrible..fix this one. Of course he lied and said he couldn't do anything and I want to see if corporate Men's Wearhouse will back this when I let these con artist know I have a small following of approximately 23,000 people in the area. I am certain at least one of them will heed my opinion and tell a friend. Yes and I also have a few people on social media I can reach out to. I nicely said to Tyree of the Men's warhorse store 7069a Arundel Mills Blvd Arundel Mills, Md Hanover, MD 21076 443-755-1347 Store #3519 this will cost your store much more that compensating me for my time, so I respectfully suggest you do something or anything in advance. So with that. within the week 23,000 people will be spreading the word that Men's Wearhouse in their opinion is not a place you want to shop.....your'e not going to love how you feel. The manager can tell you I was cordial, patient, and upfront to express my deep dissatisfaction. Now let me express how deep. Everywhere I go and every time I refer my clients, friends, or family..I will be sure to mention my experience at Mens Warehouse. You are going to love the way you look. Finally I gave Tyree and another two managers an option. I can keep the clothing since I have worn a few items and they could do something to compensate me for the hours spent, the misquote on price, the late finishing of the pants, and the poor workmanship in mis measuring the pants or I could take the clothes and charge your store by word of mouth. Keep in mind I was pleasant the whole time. They took their sweet time about bagging everything up an exclaimed that there wasn't anything they can do unless i came back in the store and made another purchase. I explained politely if you don"t make the first purchase right why would I spend another dime to assist you in being the worst shopping experience I have ever had in a clothing store. These people are completely incompetent with no customer service skills and no concern. I want a full refund and to be compensated for my time but I will not approach the store, Why? These are the types of slime balls that you do not want to hold your credit card or even speak with for an exchange. For every dollar I spent I am going to send out as many complaints to every website and potential or past customer. read more
