She was amazing and very helpful and sweet. Although Amelia was absolutely amazing, the store itself was okay it didn't have many dresses available in bigger sizes so it made me feel stressed that I wouldn't find anything because I couldn't really try anything on. But overall the employees where really helpful and they helped me decide which dress and accessories to get it was a great experience and I found my wedding dress! read more

We purchased our daughters wedding dress at this location.. thank God she's only getting married once because I would never return to this location to buy any dresses from them. Their alteration team is lazy and doesn't follow through with what they promised in the original meeting. And they charge a small fortune. We were guaranteed to have a built-in bra which we didn't get we were told there'd be a little piece of lace put in between for modesty and that didn't happen I feel like they rushed our alterations. And also the ladies in the alteration department gossip a lot about other people so maybe that's why they're not able to get things done in time. read more

I was hesitant to buy my dress here but I am very glad I made the decision to do so! Due to all the covid 19 restrictions they pair you up with a stylist. You fill out an online quiz and your stylist picks out dresses for you. My stylist Fabi was absolutely amazing, she read all of the notes I wrote in my quiz and picked out some beautiful dresses. Came in thinking I was not buying a dress because it was the first place I looked at and I had 2 months before our wedding. However Allie was attentive to what I wanted, made me feel comfortable, confident, and gave above and beyond service. She's an angel. I would recommend her to anyone in a heart beat. Any issues I had she handled, which is why I'm giving 5 stars. Also, Rosa made alterations to my dress which made it unique. I have a larger bust and she added detailing that was taken from shortening my dress to the chest line to make me feel more comfortable. One thing I really recommend is having the Spanx, corset, or whatever you're wearing under AND shoes at all your appointments. Due to my time crunch my Spanx came after my alterations and I wore it on the day of my wedding and I wish I just wore the dress without it because it created a line above my stomach which really bugged me in when looking at photos. read more

I'm not the type that does extensive research when it comes to fashion. I just walked in without an appointment (I'm sorry) a few days before I was flying to China for a vacation. In terms of variety, the store does not have all the dresses posted online but there are many different styles for the bride to try on. If anything, I think its a great place to find a style that matches your body type and see what you actually like. I was paired with an AMAZING stylist, Clare. First thing she asked was my ideas about my dream wedding and my budget. I honestly had no clue what I wanted but by the end of the session, she taught me the different necklines, different silhouettes, and the fabric types which helped me find me something I loved. I'm generally not too comfortable with someone in the dressing room with me but Clare was extremely considerate and I was very comfortable with her. She was extremely patient even when I had her change me in and out of my top choices at the end and her energy was contagious! There was no pressure at all to choose a dress and I actually came back 2 days after to try more dresses and she greeted me with a huge smile. I don't think I could have asked for any one better. Over the past few years I've come to this location for many weddings and formal occasions and have never had a problem. Their associates are knowledgeable and more patient than most, their ladie's room is clean :) and their tailors (most particularly, Esther!!!!) can pull the most amazing tricks out of their you-know-whats...with smiles on their faces! Last year, I went in during the big sale with my maid of honor in mind and it was packed. We tried to find her a dress she liked but they didn't have a big selection in the exact shade we wanted at the time. While we looked, however, it took all but ten minutes for David's Bridal personnel to set me up on an on-the-spot appointment with a personal shopper ;) I tried on a dress I picked, thought I'd love it and absolutely did NOT. Reluctantly, I put on the dress my sales associate said I should get and everything else is history! It was $2k but with the sale it was only $500, thank God. I also got my veil there. Since they knew my wedding would take place in two weeks, they set me up with Esther the next day. She MADE the dress amazing! She spent a lot of time with me even though she had other customers, adding my sleeves and ruching the back just the way I wanted it for the reception. I've never been much of a girly girl. I've been the tomboy, hanging out with a group of boys, or playing video games instead of playing house. And, while every girl probably dreams of being a princess, I was dreaming on how to slay a dragon and live in a castle with a moat of crocodiles. Went to a different David's Bridal on a Sunday, which turned out to be a bit of a disaster. Then, after calming down, went with another friend to this David's Bridal in the Long Beach Towne Center on a Monday night. I wasn't planning on buying anything or trying any on, so I didn't set up an appointment ahead of time. My friend and I walked in, looked around, and then was asked by one of the employees if I'd like to try any on, as they did have an available employee to help me into dresses. Maria ended up being the employee that helped me find dresses, helped me put them on, and, even though there were a few dresses that I would have been very questionnable about, they actually looked surprisingly good on me! Maria was very helpful, very sweet, and very patient as I tried on at least 6 dresses. We ended up finding one that may be THE dress, but I'm going to try a few more boutiques before settling on THE dress. There were a few tears when I tried it on, so that must be a good sign! :) This David's Bridal wasn't as clean as the one in Brea, but it was a good size. This one's definitely a lot bigger than the one in Huntington Beach (but the service in Huntington Beach is pretty good!) Overall, each David's Bridal is different in terms of size and service (as well as management), but I did have a good experience this time around. read more

I made an appointment online for a Bridal fitting for a Saturday, and got Alejandra. She was fantastic! I had photos of dresses that I liked, and Alejandra found me five dresses that were both similar to what I wanted, but would also look good for my short body type. I was in love with the first dress I tried on, and just died over the third dress. My bridesmaids' reaction when I came out of the dressing room was priceless. But, out of principal, I tried on the last two dresses. Alejandra was very patient, and answered our groups' questions and concerns very quickly, and also double-checked with multiple sources to ensure that we got the correct information. She worked with my budget, and was able to fish out super good deal for me that were WAY under my budget. In exactly an hour and a half, I purchased my wedding dress, and cancelled my appointment at the other store. When I got home, I made an appointment for my mom to see Alejandra the next day. It was very busy, but Alejandra got some dresses my mom might like, and 30 minutes later, we put in an order for my mom's dress. I gotta add that the other staff were also super friendly. I will give four stars and not five because I had two different experiences. The first time I visited this store it was absolutely horrible. It was busy and the lady helping me really couldn't focus on me because she had other brides. I became frustrated and I left and ended up buying my dress elsewhere. When my dress came in I hated it. Before making my final payment I decided to give David's Bridal one more try. I went in the morning on a weekday which seems to be the perfect time for an appointment. I tried in all of the dresses I selected online and didn't like them. I was ready to give up but the consultant didn't give up. She finally brought the dress for me and helped me create my vision through alterations. Sheena in alterations was amazing and patient and kind. The end product was the perfect dress for me. I really had a positive awesome experience. I even got to enjoy the experience of searching for my bridal gown with the wonderful, Ms. Andrea. She took all the anxiety and made the experience flow so well I really think she tried to help me with finding the right gown and explained every detail. Dissatisfied with David's bridal customer services. I bought my wedding dress, When I went to pick it up, they couldn't find it. Finally, the dress appeared without the alteration's notes. I went back with a second APPOINTMENT, which was confirmed the day of, same thing no alterations were made. On July 5th, I went back and they denied me an appointment, once again they couldn't find my dress. Then, I decided to cancel my purchase. On July 7th, Melanie called me, screaming saying "I can't get a refund on my purchase since I changed my mind". I am a customer, I deserve respect and I chose to give my business to this company, but I am upset with the lack of professionalism and ethics on how they are handling my business. Horrible customer service. I originally bought my wedding dress at a Davids Bridal but only Not this location. The day I went in for my gown i just walked in. I was able to go through all the racks and pick up my favorite dress in display. Two family members were on the market for their wedding gowns so they asked me to come along and help out. Of course I thought David's bridal was the best place to go. Long story short, NO! I would NOT recommend this place. I tried getting an appointment 3 times and they did not have the time and date I needed available (which is totally understandable, the world doesn't revolve around my schedule) THE PROBLEM came when I decided to just go in like I did when I bought my own dress. I called to ask for their hours but they were totally RUDE!!! Lady on the phone said that I couldn't walk in!!!! I asked if this was protocol for this location only because I've done that before elsewhere / She said she didn't manage other locations but unless I can set up an appointment they won't take walk ins. I recently visited this location a couple of weeks ago with my best friend so that she could try on wedding dresses and we had the pleasure of having stylist Alejandra work with us on helping my best friend find the perfect dress. It was my first time going wedding dress shopping and I can say that I truly did have a blast! Alejandra was so helpful during the fitting appointment. She was on time, attentive, resourceful, knowledgeable, respectful, patient and all around helpful. While my friend was trying on dresses, she knew what style and direction we were aiming for and anticipated the exact type of dresses and material that the bride to be would be interested in. We did find a dress that very day in less than 2 hours and left very happy customers! Also, the seamstress that we met, Maria came out as well and she was just as graceful and pleasant to work with. I can say that because our appointment was such a successful one, that I will be back in the next coming weeks to try on my dress as best friend to the bride. I walked in on Friday at 4 hoping to try on a couple of bridesmaids dresses with the hopes of purchasing one. Upon entering the store, I noticed it was not busy with only one other customer in the store, trying on a dress. I was not greeted or offered help even though multiple associates including the store manager walked past me. After twenty minutes of browsing on my own I walked up to the register where two employees were standing and I asked for help in which one answered, "What did you need help with?".... Uh, a dress? She stalled so I asked if I needed to make an appointment to even receive help in which she replied, "We do have appointments at 4:30". Mind you, it was 4:20 - what difference does 10 minutes make? What store manager thinks its ok to not help a potential customer because they don't have an appointment on an afternoon that was obviously not busy? I've worked retail before, and yes, have even worked at a different David's Bridal location, and these actions would have necessitated a write up. Not sure if I will shop at David's Bridal, but if I do it won't be this one. Gross. read more

Poor customer service. In person and on the phone. A dress was purchased and not even the manager asked us if we wanted it steamed for our event. When we inquired, we were answered with a hostile attitude. Customers beware, once a "sale" is made, you will receive no additional assistance from the staff. My friend (the bride) had made an appointment with this location a month in advance for a Saturday afternoon appointment at 2. We have a bridal party of 4 people. The group had gone in - I was late (personal miscommunication)- and DB said they'd lost the groups reservation. WHAT? Well good thing they were able to "squeeze" the group in for their mistake. Anyways the girls didn't get to try on their first dress til 2:30 and I showed up right when the girls were trying on their first dresses. They walked out and you could see the bride's face just go WTF did this lady put my bridal party in. We were pretty specific with what we wanted but she just could not guide us in the right direction of what we were looking for. Since I had showed up late, the bride had asked the lady to measure me so I can be sized. I stand around for 15 minutes and still nothing, and the rest of the bridal group were already on their 3rd dresses. I'm still in normal clothes. All the dresses the bridal group had tried on were still atrocious. Our sales rep just was not understanding our vision and she'd just say everything looked pretty as if she was trying to get her commission and move on to the next group. I told the bride since that lady still has yet to show me any interest in measuring me, I'm gonna go pull designs that we actually have envisioned. I picked one dress within 5 minutes and I went to try it on. It looked good, and the bride said it went more so with the theme. This lady finally comes to measure me and she said I'm a size 4. BUT SHE KEPT PULLING SIZE 2 DRESSES FOR ME. Why did you even measure me in the first place if you're just gonna look for a random size for me to try? Anyways moral of the story is... I walked in and within 5 minutes did her job for her and found the dress the bridal group wanted. read more

Since this occasion isn't months in advance they said I would need to pick something they have in store already, which wasn't too big of a deal because they had over 10 options for me (which is about 9 more than any other store I went to today). If I could give this store a 0 I would. Worst store ever. The employees do not care. When you go and purchase a dress you get treated nice. However the follow up they don't even provide the same attention. Always make sure you write down who you talk to. That's all I got asked. My dress was ordered 2 sizes up They new my need by date and stated it will be there by my need date. Well what a bunch of lie. It was suppose to be the best experience- turned out to be a night mare. The store manger got involved and it was worst. She said they would call me on 9/25 to see if they could accommodate the alterations on r she would call another store. Well I never got the phone call and when I call on Monday they tell me she's off and if I can call other stores and find out.worst store ever- !!!!!!!! I filled out the style guide (which included my dress size), a day before my appointment so the staff can be "prepared". When I got there, no dresses were pulled (they weren't prepared, at all). My sales girl was helping two people (poor scheduling by David's Bridal) so there was no individualized attention, and we started 20 minutes late. Definitely nothing special about the experience, and a lot of the dresses had stains, which feels gross. On the bright side; the staff was friendly. read more
