My sister set up an appointment to look for her wedding dress today and I am so grateful that we got Jacqueline R. as our consultant! We definitely got lucky on a Saturday afternoon. She was so helpful and I just can't believe how easy it was. She got to know my sister and she found her dress on the second try. She got her her vail and everything! She knew what my sisters vision was on her wedding day. PLUS my mom and I got our dresses too! My mom showed her the styled she like and right away picked one and my mom loved it. Afterward I picked a few and I picked mine. She was so patient and just very friendly! I bought my wedding dress here and had it pressed since its included and they forgot to include my bolero jacket , I didn't check my bag since the manager got everything ready for and I assumed she would check to make sure everything was there especially having my receipt and it clearly stating I left a dress with bolero jacket. If I wouldn't have checked my bag the day before I would not have noticed till my wedding day that it wasn't there. read more

Back in April I visited a different Davids Bridal that had me feeling rushed and uncertain of my choice in my bridal gown. The gown I had chosen required an insane amount of changes, so picturing what the end result would look like made me that much more unsure. After months of uncertainty, I called them back and asked if I could exchange my gown for another one I felt more confident with since I was still waiting for it to arrive. Going against their policy, they said that it is up to the managers discretion and that I might not be able to exchange but that I would be "more than welcome to visit and buy another dress." Determined to not give up, I called Davids Bridal in Long Beach and spoke with one of their managers, Selina, who was an absolute BLESSING! I explained my situation to her and she was able to squeeze me in THAT NIGHT! Once I arrived, I was greeted by Doris who was already aware of the negative situation I was previously put in, and took into consideration my feelings. She was patient, understanding, helpful, and willing to help in any way possible. She never made me feel rushed and was determined to make my appointment the best I could experience. After 4 gowns, all which I didn't like, she said "I know the perfect gown!" Once I put that gown on, I immediately felt like myself in that dress. It finally felt like MY dress instead of just another dress. I cannot say more positive things about my experience with those girls. I Love coming to this David's Bridal, I have been to several and I always stop here first. I knew it was going to be busy and I did not have an appointment. We went on a Sunday around 5pm. My daughter and I were shopping for her Prom dress. We found several dresses to try on. Martina was our stylist. WOW talk about a great personality! she is really great! Martina even gave us tips on how to do my daughters hair with the dress we picked out. We had to wait a bit to pay her dress because there were so many wedding parties that were all paying on their accounts. There were 2 wedding parties there paying for their dresses. So were talking 10 bridesmaids total! its was insane. 1 group was nice the other group seemed to just knit pick on everything which made the wait longer than expected. All the sales girls took their time with each of them explained everything to them. I will definitely come back to this location. Came on a friday night. It didn't look busy. The stylist took forever grabbing 4 dresses and when I asked to see more, she said that was all that they had within my price range. I thought $500 was a descent price for a dress. She barely checked up on us. My bridal party had to grab accessories for me to try on with the dresses. Never coming here again. First of all Teresa was the worst, forceful sales employee i have dealt with since buying my car. I went to look at wedding dresses with my Mom, Sister, Mother in Law and sister in law. We asked her to pull dresses that we thought were my style (since there rule was we cant pull ourselves). Teresa did not make our vision into consideration and pulled dresses she liked. Also, i mentioned that my mom and sister were here all the way from FL and I wanted my mom to help me get dressed. Every time i went into the dressing room i had to keep telling her i wanted my mother, then she started saying things like, "You dont like me do you", "You know i get paid to do this", "All my brides love dresses I pick out". Ummmm NO! So I left and came back the next day, since she told me to "Come back on Friday when I am working". Cut to TODAY, its been 4 months since i ordered my dress. Wondering my dress status, I called and my dress has been SITTING THERE AT THE STORE for I forgot how long they told me, because Teresa wrote my number in the computer wrong and they have been calling the wrong number!!! Really they only have 1 way of getting a hold of me!? The woman on the phone said that they tried calling multiple times!!!! This is ridiculous!!! This location has the worst customer service. I got my wedding dress here and have had the worst experience ever! First off they ordered me the wrong dress! I notified them and they ordered a new one they made promises they couldn't keep. They never communicate with me as they said they would. No one ever know what was going on with my dress situation. I had to go to store to find out more information and it turned out my dress was there. I set up to see alterations since I had bought the package ahead of time the one they recommended for based on what I needed. I spoke with the alterations team and First Lady I speak to tell me there's no way my dress will fit and that I gained to much weight that the dress will need to be reordered. I started crying in middle of my apt. The manager came out and promised they could fix my dress and all would be ready on time! They started measuring and doing stuff needed to fix my dress. We were 3 weeks away. Yesterday I went to pick up my dress and the top was loose nothing looked as it should. She hadn't fix my straps or the cups or the sides of the dress. I had asked for my sash to be put on my dress and they didn't. The excuse I received was I didn't pay enough to have it all done. No one ever spoke with me to tell me I needed to pay more. From the beginning when I spoke with alterations and paid for my package they new everything that was needed. Overall my experience was horrible! I attempted To talk to managers but all they could do was fix it yesterday. I was unable to get that done. I was out of time I needed to leave my wedding is out of state. I am 2 days away from my wedding and in a different state trying to find a way to make my dress work! I will never shop here again! Worst $1,000 + I have ever spent! They have definitely made my wedding experience stressful! And now I'm hoping for the best. The managers have not gotten back to me at all like they have told me they would. I definitely plan on visiting the store when I get back because this is the biggest bull S*** experience I have ever 3 months out from my wedding it's still pointless to even speak to anyone from this company all promises are complete bogus. They can never keep up their end of the bargain! I've tried talking to EVERYONE possible to address the issue I had but it's always the pointing fingers with them. I just got back from my final fitting at this location. On both occasions, I was assisted by a consultant by the name of Alissa. Let me start of by saying that I am a gay woman who will be marrying my bride in October 2013. One of the first questions Alissa asked me was what the name of my "partner" is. This was so refreshing, as I didn't quite like the "who is your groom?" question I got from the lady at the front desk. Anyway, Alissa was all over the place, helping so many people both times I went in, but still managed to give me every bit of attention I needed. She was so sweet, and personable, and truly listened to what I wanted. She was excited when I choose "the one", and even hugged me when I left. I found my dream dress there today thanks to the help of Fabiola and Jasmin! I came in nervous, not really knowing exactly what I wanted but I had a little idea. Fabiola made the process really easy, fun, and less nerve wracking for me. She was very detailed with each dress, gave me the stories of the designers and their styles, pulled out some from my favorites list and we went off from there. Later I ended up seeing some reception dresses I wanted to try on and Julie approached me offering a dressing room and assistance. I was very impressed that the associates were so kind and helpful even though I had no appointment. She took the time to help select dresses she thought would fit my needs. Julie was busy running around (totally understandable because I didn't have an appt) but there were other associates that approached me offering to zip up my dress, etc. I ended up not buying my reception dress here but I will definitely come back to check out bridesmaid dresses. Giving 1 star for customer service but 2 stars because I found a perfect beautiful dress at a deep discount. The lady at the desk assigning the consultants was very unpleasant and not helpful. My future sister-in-law and I had the same appointment time because she is also a bride (she is marrying my brother) and we wanted to try on dresses together. When we asked the desk lady if we could possibly try on dresses next to each other she right away shot us down without even checking to see if it was possible. They were quite a few dressing rooms available that were next to each other. I believe she was the manager or assistant manager. Our assigned consultant was very nice at first but she was also helping another client. Once she found out we wanted to try on 2 dresses we had seen on-line for a deep discount she ended up not being very helpful. Especially when i asked to order the dress i wanted. She right away stated i needed to buy the actual dress i tried on. When i mentioned that I would like a new one ordered she said it was discontinued and she couldn't order a new one. I thanked her and then offerred to buy it on-line. She left and came back saying she could order a new one afterall. It definately did not feel like a special experience being at this store. I was trying to take it in stride because I got a great deal on my dress, which is my beach ceremony dress. A month ago I purchased my reception dress at Alfred Angelo and the experience i had there was great and completely opposite than my experience at Davids Bridal. What i'm finding out now is that ,I believe, i was supposed to receive special offers and discounts for my bridesmaids dresses but all my consultant gave me after my purchase was my receipt and her business card. The consultant was in a big hurry to finish my transaction and I felt like she wanted to just get on with her other customer that was trying on more expensive dresses. read more

They weren't specific on what dress comes in what color and they had a short size selection in the store. I saw one that was over my budget but she was able to find one that looked similar which was half the price and of course I ended up buying it!
