This place is like walking into a car dealership. Employees are rude and pushy. They also will lie about something looking good just to get a sale. Place is unorganized and horrible. Worst part of my day here. I wanted to walk out within the first 10 minutes but decided to give them a chance. The longer i was there the worse it got. They're rude they talk over you and treat you like you're dumb. This was extremely unprofessional for a major company. Got refunds on the 3 dresses we did have and shifted our vision of our wedding. Thank God for Amazon Prime, the alternate purple dresses came in Monday-Wednesday the week of our wedding. Kim did try to find us dresses through the district and distribution center. I just feel it could have been handled better from 8 July to 2 September when you pay for dresses up front. The 3 stars is for my wedding dress ordered from David's bridal online. Pros: - It was super easy to make an appointment - I was able to try on about 12 dresses during my 1 hour appointment without feeling rushed or made to feel bad for going through so many dresses - I came in with a low budget and the sales associate never made me feel like it was too low or pressured me to go outside of my budget. I was able to find something I liked pretty easily without breaking the bank. Cons: - The experience is basic. If you want a lavish shopping experience this isn't it. - I bought my dress off the rack without considering alternatives. I later learned than it isn't uncommon to order a dress and receive it within 3 weeks from David's. Had I known that I would have ventured out to other parts of the store a bit more. - They won't call other David's Bridal locations to check for size/style availability for you. Good experience with knowledgeable sales staff. I bought my wedding dress here---it was the 6th one I tried on and it looked gorgeous!! I asked for a variety of styles and they had them all available to try on (close to my size with pins, if not in my size). You should take a friend with you to help with the decisions. Also I went on a weeknight (so I didn't have an appointment) but the store was not busy and I think it helped that it was at 5 pm. The time of day makes a difference for how busy the store can be. Betria was very helpful to find my wedding dress. For a bride on a budget who likes lovely dresses for good value, David's is great to give you options to be gorgeous & save money. I had to order my sash and it came on time for the wedding. The alterations were a bit pricey at $100 but it's worth it to look your best on your wedding day. Great store!!! read more

First, this is a review from the perspective of buying a formal dress for a special occasion NOT from a bride or bridal party experience. I wasn't even going to go here as I saw a few terrible Google Reviews of poor customer service for this location. My daughter needed a formal gown that we were not able to find at Nordstroms, Belk, or Dillards. Our shopping time was on a Monday morning around 11:30am. We first went to J. Majors Bridal Boutique at 2400 Park Road. As soon as the Sales clerk learned that we were not a bride or part of a bridal party, we were immediately left alone. We then headed to NYBride at 4618 South Blvd and pretty much received the same treatment. Both were rated highly by bride and bridal party so I believe that their Sales Associates were instructed to focus only on those customers as a revenue potential is much higher with that group than someone buying a special occasion dress. Since our experience with customer service have been pretty atrocious with both stores, I decided that why not go to David's Bridal. We were pleasantly surprised while we were browsing the very well stocked store when 3 different Sale Associates approached us to offer their help. Once we found dresses that my daughter wanted to try on, a Sales Associate named Shakira promptly escorted us to the dressing room. Eventhough she was also helping 2 other customers, I was able to get her attention 4 different times to ask questions and get help from Alteration staff. I felt that the service that I received was attentive and I would definitely go back here if I ever need a special occasion dress again. Made an appointment earlier this week to go look for a bridesmaid dress. My appointment time was for 1:30 pm and my friend and I showed up at 1:15. As soon as you walk in there is just so much chaos. We wait in the check in/greeting line for about 5 minutes then once we get to the desk we are only acknowledged by a woman who says "we'll be with you in one minute" no worries - it's busy so I understand. While we are waiting we see and hear everything going on... an associate approached the woman at the desk to say they ran out of fitting rooms. They were shuffling through stacks of appointment forms trying to figure out who was here and who was still waiting. After 10 minutes of seeing all of this I wasn't very confident in the experience I was going to have... the lady at the desk finally returns to me and asks what I'm here for. I tell her a bridesmaid dress. She then walks my friend and I over to the racks and tells us to pick out things we like then she'll explain later. Vague but whatever. So we start looking through the styles. The racks were so messy and unorganized. I felt like I was Black Friday shopping because there was absolute chaos surrounding us. We find a few styles we like and don't know what to do next. We go to the front desk area and the circle of guests surrounding had doubled since we arrived. We ended up approaching an associate in the fitting room area. Her name was Michaela and she was the only good part about my experience here today. Michaela gave me a room and told me she'd come by to check on me throughout and take the "no" dresses away so I wouldn't have a cluttered room. She was constantly checking in on me and making sure I didn't need help or any other sizes. She was very attentive while still getting the job done! After trying on a few dresses I narrowed down to 2. She looked them up in the computer system and told me only 1 of them would be available in time for the wedding (shipping arrival date was 10 days before the wedding). No worries. I didn't order at the store because I wanted to make sure the bride approved before I ordered it. After going home I went online to order the dress and the shipping arrival date is 2 weeks from today. I ended up ordering the dress that I tried on in store and have peace of mind knowing that I will have time to get it altered. Definitely wouldn't return as my anxiety was on high the whole time just due to the chaos surrounding. Very unorganized but michaela was incredibly helpful. read more

I LOVED my experience at David's Bridal in Pineville. My mom and I went in just to take a peek at some dresses and get an idea of what styles might look good on my POST COVID body(20+ lbs gained). Our consultant Michaela was INCREDIBLE. She was sweet, fun, complimentary and honest. I trusted her immediately and she made the experience EXTRA special!!!! I would recommend requesting Michaela if you plan to visit this location. You will NOT regret it! She might make you tear up a few times though, in a good way. BEST EXPERIENCE EVER! I was engaged back in June of 2013.. came out to David's Bridal with a good friend to get dress trying "out of the way" for the first time (I had 4 boutique places set up, afterwards). To sum it up, after trying on 8 or so dresses, I ended up buying the dress, and cancelling the other appointments. (I even had another appointment at another David's Bridal set up with my sisters, so they could say "YES" to the same dress - they just didn't know I had already purchased it!) Sales people were PHENOMENAL as were the fittings / alterations! I am taller, and had to buy a size 2 dress, and get it taken in a bit, for the body, but it was still WAY cheaper than I would have imagined! It fits like a glove!! - and thank you for being honest about alterations, etc!!! I felt NO PRESSURE when buying the dress. I still almost tear up when I think of the dress I bought, combined with the no pressure (but felt like I was the only person there - going middle of the week helped), and would suggest this place to anyone!! I drove over an hour & half to this location to try on a formal dress that they had in my size.... I am so glad I did 'cause I found the perfect dress ! I have a really bad experience here in 2008. But I'm truly surprise how things have change! My best friend is getting marry. She have no idea what type of styles or anything about the dresses that she wants. So I mentioned to look at David's Bridal. It's have a vary of sizes, styles and budget. BUT MAKE SURE YOU SET AN APPOINTMENT. They will be rude to you if you don't even tho they will still serves you! Our appt was Sunday, May 15 at 1pm. We arrived at 12:40pm. Greeted by a gentleman by the door. He wasn't very friendly, short answer and look at us like we are inconveniencing him. He checked us in, but said nothing else. We were left standing there like we're lost. Wondering around, not quite sure what to do with ourselves. Find a really nice gentleman greeted us exactly at 1pm. He mentioned to Robin that it will take him another 5 mins to pull at the dresses she was interested in from the website. The ones she marked as favorites. After that, everything went smoothly. He was a doll. Added the right accessories. Help her in and out of her dresses. I took the pics, etc. pointed out different details to the dress that we didn't notice before. Overall, she's in love. And we love the guy that help us with the dresses. But definitely NOT that gentleman at the front. When we getting ready to leave. He still have that same face. First experience at Davids Bridal and it was not pleasant. As an event planner and the maid of honor for my best friend wedding. I planned and booked an appointment for her to try on dresses at Davids Bridal in Pineville. When we arrived at 1:45p for our 2pm appointment there was no one at the door to provide direction or to check us in. We kindly walked over to the check out area for assistance. There was a lady with blonde hair to her shoulders and fairly skinny had this uncomfortable look on her face. Instead of asking how she could help us she just starred uncomfortably. There was another lady also behind the counter and she also approach us at the smile time with a delight look greeting and asking how she could help. I explained that I booked an appointment for my friend Stefanny for a consolation today. And we wanted to get her checked in. The blonde lady then says with her nose snared upward, " this is checkout you need to go to the check in area over there." Then the other lady says VERY NICELY and with a smile in sorry, yes the check in is there and I apologize no one was there when you arrived but I'll send someone right over. Then up walks a lady with brown curled hair in which I now know her name is Jessica. I provided my name as I booked the appointment for my friend Stefanny. She pulled out the form and slammed it on the counter. Stefanny looked at me like "ok what's going on here, this is no longer fun or a great experience." I told her to just remain calm they are busy I guess. So as we looked at the paper I realized that I must have filled the information in wrong online. So I shared that with Jessica and that's when things became worse! She snatched the paper off the counter and crumbled it up and throw it into the trash VERY VERY RUDE! I was applaud! Stefanny looked at me with shock in her face, and I told her I was so very sorry that I put the wrong information in. She said it's ok love if it weren't for you I would have a appointment today or this experience with my family and you. Then the lady slaps down another piece of paper that was blank that we could fill out correctly. At this point we were SO READY TO GO! But I did not want to allow the devil to ruin my friends day. And we really needed to find her a dress. After the information was filled out another lady came to the counter Annette. She was very kind and provided with with her coworkers name. I wrote it down on a Davids Bridal card and plan to also provide customer service and their district manager with Themis awful customer service we received from their Pineville location. And they wonder why they have a 2.8 rating in Google and 3.5 stars on yelp. read more

Went here and of course had the worst experience getting my bridesmaid dress. I told the lady at the desk the bride's name. She wrote down on a paper what dress, shoes, and sizes I needed and handed the paper to Eboni who then took it and asked me what dress i needed. I tried to describe it to her (even though the other lady had written it down) she finally found it and asked what size (even though that was on the paper, too) then we finally got back to the dressing room and AGAIN she asked me what size shoe i needed, and that was also on the paper. Anyway, I tried the dress and shoes on, came out to look in the mirror and eboni was standing there watching some bride try on a dress from afar i looked at her and told her these sizes were good. She didn't even acknowledge that I spoke to her, or even that i was out of the dressing room. When i changed back into my clothes and came out she was no where to be found. then i went to the register and she asked if i wanted to get those..and i of course said yes. And then she asked me AGAIN what size everything was, even though she was HOLDING IT! She even asked me if the Bride got her dress there, and when i responed yes, I didn't even get the discounts i was supposed to (I didn't initally know about the discounts until I later talked to the Bride) After I got home, I called to complain about my experience and they said when I come in they will give me my discount. This is the most unknowledgeable and unattentative staff I have come in contact with. I will absolutely NOT get my wedding gown there. Stick to a boutique if you want real customer service. read more

I am in the process of planning my wedding and have visited and called David's Bridal on several occasions. Each time the customer service has been exceptional. Even though I did not buy my ceremony dress from here I showed the workers a pic of my dress and they suggested jewelry and shoes that would compliment my dress. In addition they were very accommodating in helping my bridesmaids find their heels and allowed them to order over the phone and placed them on hold. When looking for my reception dress, I called and asked them to check the system for several items that I viewed online. (It had to be about 6 items) They were very helpful and patient. Overall this location is way better than the location in Northlake. They are more professional, helpful, clean and patient. If David's Bridal carried a larger inventory including the online items I would score higher. David's Bridal is designed for a more traditional bride. However, the new Terani Couture and Zak Posten line appeals to a younger and/or more fashion forward bride. read more

After reading some reviews I was sceptical of what my experience would be like, but I am happy to announce everything went wonderfully. I went prom dress shopping/browsing just to see what I liked, how they fit, etc. I went to south park mall and that was an absolute bust. So my mother and I decided to give David's bridal a shot just for kicks. We went in around 5:45 and came out before 6:30. When we arrived we were greeted by a very nice woman whom I believe is Jessica, as soon as we walked in I saw the dress that was for me. She simply said I'd have to sign in and then I was free to browse and try on dresses as I pleased. I didn't have an appointment because it was on a whim but the staff was kind enough to help me with the fitting room. After trying on the first dress I was in love but wanted to try at least two more for variety reasons. But alas I went back to the same first dress. I was so excited and the women and staff even complimented me. The pricing wasn't as horrid as I thought it would be. Jessica was very kind and talk me through the payment and things like that, I was definitely happy with my visit and I definitely will be back next year for my senior prom dress!!! read more

This location has awful reviews on Google. Just awful... I was nervous going in but I received better service here than at the one across town by Northlake. David's normally doesn't carry anything in my size but the ladies here heard me out and understood that I had spoken to the bride and had gotten the okay to get a dress other than the one she had registered us for. I really appreciate that none of them suggested that I "eat more" or buy a dress that is too large and get it cut down - as though either of those are viable options. They took really good care of me, I was in & out in about half an hour. This includes trying the dress i wanted in the smallest size they had on hand (2) and having their alterations lady drop what she was doing and come pin me up to confirm that it was indeed too big. And I didn't have to fight traffic. Win. read more

We came here on a Sunday (with an appt) for my best friend to try on her wedding gown one last time before deciding to purchase it and so that we could see her in it as well. We also came to try on bridesmaids dresses. Our consultant, Lea, seemed extremely aggravated from the beginning. She was all over the place and definitely gave off the vibe that we were an inconvenience to her time. Considering between 5 people were spending over a grand, you would think their consultants would be a little nicer and more helpful. Every time we turned around to find her she was gone. And by the time we were ready to put all of our information in the system and for the bride to purchase her gown her attitude was awful. It was so bad the bride even asked if we were being inconvenient. Lea said no, but her face said the complete opposite. I placed the order for my MOH dress today and it took two different phone calls and speaking with two different people to get it ordered. If you're going to be a consultant in a store, you should not only know your products, but also know how to charge something to a credit card that is through your company. I'm only giving 2 stars because the women at the check in podium were sweet and because the dress the bride bought is stunning. read more

Came here with my friend last Wednesday because we both wanted to try on wedding dresses to figure out what we liked for her upcoming fall wedding and mine for next year. The lady said that they only had an availability for one person even though they didn't really seem busy so I just let my friend try on the dresses since her wedding is the one coming up first. I was so very impressed with this location. I had a bridal nightmare with a different high scale bridal shop. My wedding was in two weeks, and I decided to stop in David Bridal in Pineville. I was so very impressed with the professionalism and their kindness. Katie was my sales person. She rocks! The management is awesome and very accommodating.
