My friends and I came to this David's bridal in Rockville to find a certain dress for the wedding we are a part of. We were greeted and serviced immediately. The bridal associate did the best she could by helping us, but the dress selection was VERY limited. They barely had the dresses we liked and did not have samples of the color to try on. Other than that, we did end up choosing 2 dresses for a bridal party for about 12. We also are all in different states, so I had my laptop propped up we all were on Google meet. Another bridal associate came to assist and they were both helping by taking our pictures she providing necessary commentary needed for each dress. We found out later on that the color might be discontinued, so that was a bummer. The dresses weren't as pricey and I've seen, but there wasn't a sale either. lol Overall, I probably would call to see if the selections are there before making an appointment, but I was hopeful that if it was online it would be in store as well. read more

I had such a great experience with Flo and the alterations team at David's Bridal! I brought in a wedding dress I had purchased outside of their store, so I was a little nervous about how the alterations would go--but Flo put me at ease right away. She was incredibly skilled and attentive, and made multiple adjustments--including changing the sleeves, adjusting the hem, and taking in the top--all of which came out perfectly. The dress now fits me like a dream. Everyone on the seamstress team was kind, professional, and clearly experienced. For just about every bride, looking and feeling great on your wedding day is of the utmost importance!! And finding the right wedding dress is a major part of that!! My mother and I went to this particular David's Bridal for me to try on dresses, and I found what I thought was "the one"; I ordered it and was told it would take 2 weeks for the dress to arrive!! The week of my wedding, I got a reminder/confirmation call that my bridal fitting appointment was scheduled for the next day - so, imagine my shock when I showed up the next day and was asked where my dress was!!! I explained that the dress was ordered 2 weeks prior and was meant to have been delivered to the store... Fast forward 30 minutes later, the Sales Associate apologised that the dress was no where to be found (LOST in TRANSIT) and the Manager was doing her best to try and locate it. This was on the Monday... and my wedding was that Saturday!!! Needless to say, after the Manager was on hold for 40+ minutes - she told me she was making calls and would "let me know, if they were able to locate that dress"! Not exactly the news you expect to hear when you were given a courtesy call about your scheduled dress fitting the day before!!! Clearly they majorly dropped the ball - and honestly, I hope this David's Bridal branch (I expect) does NOT represent the professionalism or business standard for the company!!! I luckily found another bridal store that completely took care of the situation and I was able to find an amazing dress!!! But I had to leave this review because I would hate for any other bride-to-be to find themselves in the predicament I was put in!!! I went back to the store to get a full refund that same day, but do you think anything was offered to me as a consolation for my dress being lost 5 days before my wedding? Nope !!! Brides... So obviously, I can't post any photos of me and my dresses! But I would say the service was OK. They seemed way understaffed and we're kind of upset that the system allowed people to book appointments because I think they were missing a few people that day. The girls were overall nice though. I didn't have anyone with me so they help me to try on my dresses and took some pictures and videos for me but they were running back-and-forth between different brides so it was a bit overwhelming. I didn't really have anybody walk me through the process so you know I didn't feel like I was in my bridal essence. When I tried on the dresses and they were helping me with photos videos, I felt a lot better. Overall, they were friendly, especially the last girl that I worked with. I needed a formal gown for my son's wedding. I met with a consultant. I chose a dress for which I paid. She then directed me into a meeting/fitting with the seamstress/alterations department. It cost a small fortune for the sizing/alterations. Be prepared. The initial cost of the dress has nothing to do with the actual cost. I hope I live long enough to have another occasion to wear it. The store was okay. It has a nice selection of dresses but every dress I tried on had stains or was filthy which was a turn off. One rep helped me to find court dress and within my budget. Explained sizing and accessories but no one really assisted during the try on process so I was left by myself the entire time since I came solo. I'm getting Married !!! this was my first ever bridal fitting!!! I had no idea in a price range or a real idea of a style other than I wanted sheer sleeves on my dress. I was so nervous I scheduled the wrong type of appt for 1:30 and it was very busy I was able to come back for 4:30 and got there late I was worried I was going to be rushed by the stylist. When I came in I was told my stylist would be with me and that I needed to take pics of what I wanted to try on. the floor was not confusing or hard to navigate. There were noticeably less people than earlier in the day. My style was Rosale who was very experienced and knowledgeable she knew each dress in the store I was very impressed I didn't have to take her all around to show her which dress was where. My appt was for 60 mins and Mrs Rosale took her time and was so very patient she made me feel comfortable and gave me the assurance of a sister. I came here to try on dresses for my cousins wedding. Inside is big and they have a huge selection. Unfortunately, the dresses were all dirty and ripped in various places, which to me means they're cheap in quality. The styles seem boring and dated, and didn't make me feel sexy at all. The lady who helped us was very friendly and professional. She tried her best to search other store locations for a particular style that they were out of stock on, which I appreciated. David Bridal's Exchange Policy: "You can exchange items purchased at any of our U.S. or Canada locations up to 30 days after receipt of merchandise. Exchanges must be of equal or greater value. If the exchange value is greater than the original price paid, the customer will pay the difference. All returns and exchanges must be accompanied by the original receipt of purchase to be eligible." First of all, she is not altering the dress or changing it for a different one, she's just sizing down. If you are going to say one thing and then change up the policy just because you felt like it that's despicable. The manager was so nasty to and literally did not care for their clients. Florenzia (Flo) didn't just alter my wedding dress, she made it! I found two dresses and Flo took the skirt from one and the top from the other and made my one of a kind dress. She is extremely detail oriented and thought of everything I never would have considered to make sure my dress was perfect. She made the bustle, added the zipper and the belt and completely created my entire dress. Beyond Flo's skills, she is extremely kind and warm. Honestly? The only reason, why I go to this one is because of location. Rockville is the perfect location to have this store. I wish they had more in Montgomery county, shoot even Frederick,Md. I made an appointment at 1:30pm and the parking was a trouble. I came in early and the ALL the STAFF members look SAD! lol like not happy to work there AT ALL! Be prepared for that. Unfortunately I had a very poor customer service experience at this David's Bridal. We were a couple min late, which was totally our fault, so I asked the check in woman if we had a hard stop and she told me no, it was ok and women go over a little. Great. It was our fault for being a little late, but I was told not to worry. A stylist in the back was also telling a MIB that this was a very slow day, while I was waiting to get started. From the start it was not good. The stylist Kierra rushed me between dresses. She had me facing a mirror far away and then she would stand in front of me. When i turned so I could see myself in mirror, she was upset that i messed up how she had placed the dress. When I asked to remove my bra since it was making it hard to visualize, she huffed because she had to unclip me and then clip me back in. When she was passing me the next dress, I got an eye roll when I asked her to close the door slightly since I was completely nude from the waist up. I felt like it was a speed race to get me in and out. She told me i had 10 min left and when I inquired about trying on a dress that looked nice on another lovely bride, she responded "I don't even know what that dress is." I'm fairly certain she didn't bring me that dress, but she brought me one and whipped me in and out of it. There were two other brides there with stylists who were trying on dresses before I started and who were still trying on dresses when she told me my time was up. My stylist was walking around without a client as we perused the store after my appt. Unfortunately, it was a really disappointing day. I stopped in David'd Bridal in Rockville MD on Sunday (7/14/24) to look at bridesmaid dresses. Dee was outstanding! She was knowledgeable, helpful, and honest. Dee thoroughly knew the dresses and fabrics, and made helpful recommendations about the best fabrics for the body type of my bridesmaids. Since my bridesmaids' sizes and body types vary considerably, Dee's expert knowledge and recommendations were incredibly valuable. Thanks to Dee, I was able to select dresses for my matron and maid of honor, and dresses for my bridesmaids, as well as buy two dresses in store for them to try, and placed and order for other dresses. I went to the Springfiled VA David's Bridal on 6/11 and had a bad experience with the stylist there who was inattentive and unhelpful. I almost didn't give David's Bridal another chance, but I'm glad I did. Dee made my customer experience positive and productive. read more

LIERS. tell callers the truth please. it's so hard to park there. the worst parking lot ever. what a freaking dump! I went by myself a few weeks ago. the sales help is nonexistent. I'm can't zip up a dress myself and unzip. I had to wait till sales person got off the phone to unzip me. she did bring me the dress in another size which I was surprised. the dresses here run a size small. I try the dress on and it's huge. instead of a size 6 it was 14. CAN THE SALESPERSON READ A TAG. I tried on 3 dresses and was in there over 50 min to get zipped and unzipped it should have been 15 min. a customer helped me zip up too. The prices are very cheap. BUT YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. some dresses are very pretty but poorly made with no lining or slip. The sake rack is not returnable. plus, they only do 24 hr holds. no suggestions or help for my body type. I read they were helpful. same level as shopping at a Ross store next door. I could not have had a better experience with my wedding dress! I actually always knew what dress I wanted and had eyed one on the DB website for about 1-2 years prior to actually getting engaged (yes, I'm one of those women lol) and was so glad to see they had it in store for me to try on. I can't remember the stylist/consultant at the time since this was December 2018, but she was so nice and really insightful about all the dresses. She would have made any bride to be feel beautiful and confident. I did my alterations (just shortening the length)/bustling appointment around February 2020 and the dress was ready right when COVID lockdowns hit, unfortunately. My seamstress, Birdie, got to know me by name any time I called and she knew exactly which dress was mine. They did a wonderful job with the bustle points and the dress was just gorgeous. Because they had to just send the dress to me once it was ready, they didn't get a chance to steam it. I went back in August 2021 to get the bustling demo with my mom and she offered to steam it since they hadn't back in 2020. It was gorgeous and absolutely perfect for the big day! read more

The nastiest customer service ever. Upon our arrival they asked in a very nasty way if we have an appointment and we said no we don't. We said we are going to just browse. As I was browsing, the representative walked towards me and said in a nasty tone " these are all the same dresses in a different size". So we left the store not even two minutes after we arrived there. We drove one hour to get there and we got so upset and disappointed. I had no idea what to expect and was stressed and overwhelmed when I arrived. But Deena (I hope that's how I spell it) and Eni came to my rescue. Deena grabbed the dresses I had found online and then also brought dresses she thought would fit me well. Eni helped to snatch them up to make them look amazing and to give a true vision of what they would look like post alterations. They were so attentive, helpful and encouraging it was an amazing experience. While there was a limit on time and dresses they kept bringing additional dresses to try and I never felt rushed. I felt I could take the time needed. I had another dress shop appt and had the complete opposite experience which was cold and was constantly told the dress could be altered to accommodate making it look right at the store. So my family and I went right back to David's Bridal, found Deena and Eni and tried the dream dresses we found earlier (which Deena suggested mind you) and quickly was able to say "yes to a dress". A lot can be said about the experience and how you are treated during such a stressful moment and both Deena and Eni made an amazing team and helped to make it an amazing and emotional experience I will remember forever. They are both sweet and very patient. Florencia was my seamstress and I love her attention to detail and her guidance about what and how to wear things. She advised us to pick dresses that were a size up from our normally dress sizes, so we picked a few dress varieties, and sizes- only because some dresses definitely need to be picked out in a size up, and then maybe taken in. We spent about an hour in, and anytime we needed her to help, she was there. I had a great experience looking for a wedding dress here. During my first appointment, Shubhangi helped me, and she was very knowledgeable and friendly. She understood my budget, and we were able to narrow it down to two dresses. She also made great suggestions on how to potentially alter the dresses to fit my taste. My second appointment with Eni was above and beyond. I tried on the two dresses again and picked the one I wanted to buy. We went to check out and found out that the dress in my size wouldn't arrive until after my wedding date! What a nightmare! It was totally my fault for taking a while to make a decision and thinking I had plenty of time to place an order. I started to panic slightly, but Eni went to the showroom and brought back a dress for me to try (one that didn't even catch my eye when I was browsing). However, it was within my budget, so why not, I put it on. I absolutely fell in love with it. I loved it more than the first dress I thought I was going to buy! Eni saved the day! My third appointment was actually with alterations. I had read some comments online that David Bridal's alteration prices are inflated, but I didn't find that to be the case. I consulted some local tailors in the DMV area, and DB had the best pricing. $95 to hem my dress with DB when one local tailor quoted $410 to hem the dress! The seamstress was extremely pleasant and didn't press anything on me. She worked with me to decide what we should do and what we can leave alone. My experience: I want in the store to try on the different styles the bride allowed us to choose from. I was stuck in between two different dresses. The associate told me that my first choice would not available in store for another 12weeks past the wedding date. While she looked through her database, I looked on DavidsBridal.com. This same dress could be shipped to my house within the week. Dress #2, could be ordered in store and sent to me in 5wks. The associate kept  saying, "it safer just to order it from us here. We're not sure what warehouse the online store pulls from. So if you buy it online, they could cancel your order tomorrow, then you'll be even more delayed getting your dress." I caved, bought in store. THEN was told anything bought I store is FINAL SALE. What a rip off! I also really wanted to try my luck, so I placed the online order as well. Guess what arrive within the week If I'm asked to be in another wedding that uses dresses from this place, I'm bowing out. Not a fan at all. 2 stars for the warm greeting. read more
