I went in this morning to look at hair accessories and shoes to go with my wedding dress that I had purchased at another retailer. When I entered the woman at the front pointed me to the back where I would find them. I was very disappointed in the shoe selection-- they were mostly VERY high heels and not what I'd wear with a wedding dress. Perhaps they were for the prom dresses? Or I'm too stodgy? Or too tall at 5' 9". The hair accessories displays looked like something you'd see in a bargain corner that had been looted. There was a placard above stating that there were more selections online. I did actually check their website just now and am put off by the fact that every bride model pictured in that section looks to be younger than 30. It would be nice to see some age diversity to reflect the demographics of their customers. We're not all young brides. I still gave them three stars because some of the dresses I saw as I was walking in and out were pretty and they primarily are a dress shop. read more

I was completely shocked how poor the service was! The woman who worked with me in my appointment was extremely negative and downright rude. I brought my family and she was rude to them, too! First question from her - didn't even share her name - "Are you buying today?" Well, we were planning to find "the" dress and were ready to purchase right away as I make decisions quickly. But it happened to be my first time looking. As soon as I said (excitedly) that it was my first time trying on dresses she said "well you can try on 5" before I could share anything else - and apparently told my mother prior to even speaking to me not to touch anything on certain hangers because it's "very expensive" (even though the staff told us to go pick dresses while we waited for this woman to meet us as she was LATE for our appointment). Every question was met with a rude answer. She said she needed to know what I want to try. I said I had a list of dress codes from the website to help pick dresses. She says "well I can't look those up, they are different by store." I say ok, and pull up a wishlist I made on the website with pictures and names. She says "well I don't have those dresses, I know by looking at the model." I say ok, well I'm at a loss can she help me? And start giving her a basic idea what I'm looking for. She doesn't have suggestions so we decided to just go with what we already had picked out from looking while we were waiting for her. She asked me my size; I say 6-8 depending on fit and she looks at me and says "well it'll be probably 8-10, welcome to the world of wedding dresses" as she walked away to get the dresses. That alone was extremely disheartening and by that point I didn't even want to see any dresses there anymore. I tried on 3 dresses and promptly left with my family. The short story: don't go here if you're looking for any help at all...or any level of kindness/compassion as a customer or as a person. read more

Walked into the store on a trip to Portland, ME, since I have a wedding coming up and want to see how dresses looked up close. They were not bad. However, tbis review is about service. I was there for about 20 minutes and literally 10 steps away from the salespeople (sometimes even one step) at all times. The service was the poorest I have had in recent recall. How poor was it? They did not LOOK at me but brushed past/by me several times. They did not greet me and had plenty of occasions. They greeted EVERY OTHER CUSTOMER. There were even people in the store who stated they had no appointment and wanted to make them but they were seen on the spot after me. I would have been happy just to be acknowledged. I don't typically write reviews because I don't like to complain. I made an appointment months ago to come shopping with my sister and future sister in law to go dress shopping. I was instantly greeted by a girl who seemed very stressed. I felt bad. Figured maybe she was having a bad day, I've worked in retail so I understand. I soon learned why she seemed to be having a bad day. The manager on duty walked over to assist her with an issue she was having with the computer. She seemed very impatient with the girl and did not greet us at all. Whatever, I got over that. I've also been in management and get that is stressful as well. We were told to find dresses to try on and that we'd be assisted when we have picked some out. They had a very small selection and said they could only order specific dresses (a list of maybe 30). I know for a fact their website has hundreds of dresses. My girls picked their dresses. When we were done, we walked to the fitting rooms. The manager walked past us multiple times and did not assist us at all or even ask how we were doing. There was another woman shopping for a wedding dress. I could overhear what she was saying and it was evident nobody was helping her. In fact, this woman was only shopping in her exact size because there was nobody clipping her dress, nobody helping her find dresses except the people she brought. How can you find the perfect dress if THE dress is possibly in another size and it's too big to even try on? My girls found their dresses and we were ready to check out. We waited for someone to pay some sort of attention to us. The manager finally asked if we were done. She looked at an employee and said "can I trust you to do this on your own?" in a rude tone. The girl was walking in the wrong direction and the manager spoke to her as if she was stupid. The girl who helped us check out was very nice and personable. She had an issue/question about ordering the dress for my future sister in law and we had to wait for the manager. Everybody working there honestly seemed scared to ask the manager for help. They then informed us they could only order 2 sizes (28 and 32 when my sister in law needed a 2). I went on their website and sure enough, every size was in stock. How is a business unable to order their own dresses? We got my sister in laws dress online luckily. The whole experience was extremely disheartening to me as I wanted my girls to have a good time. I don't not recommend a place to people often. If you want to be spoken down to, watch people get spoken down to, get absolutely zero help, and feel extremely uncomfortable, I recommend this place. my granddaughter and i went and bought a prom dress. She changed her mind. two weeks later brought it back. i could not get a refund. the dress was still in the bag, had the tags. Granted on the receipt it does say we have 7 days BUT not one person told us when we bought the dress. We scheduled an appointment in December for a mid April appointment for my daughter's upcoming wedding. In order for members of our party to be able to attend this appointment, we all had to rearrange our schedules far in advance in order for all to attend. Three days prior to our scheduled appointment, we received a call from David's Bridal. They explained they were overbooked due to a system error and she had already cancelled 20 other brides. She said it was an IT issue and out of her hands. I pressed the manager on this issue and she said she had tried several times to get corporate to fix the system but it was out of her hands. We will never shop at David's Bridal and will recommend to others not to as well. If they are unable to manage appointments with their computer system, I can only imagine how they will manage ordering dresses, alterations, etc. Unprofessional to say the least. read more

I have tried many attempts with this David's Bridal. I seriously don't like giving bad reviews but I have been contemplating on this for awhile. Buckle up you're in for a long review. Back in the year 2019, I was looking into getting a part time job at the time to make a little more income so I decided to try David's Bridal. I had an interview with the manager at the time. She seemed pleasant but then when it came to ask about the fact I am bilingual; I informed her I was Hispanic. She proceeds to chuckle and state " You'll never need to speak Spanish here." I shrugged it off, received a job offer but declined because that comment just gave me a bad taste in my mouth. Beginning of year 2020, I went in to look for a court bridal dress. Til this day I remember the Sales rep. Jenna, super sweet and just made me feel at ease and welcomed. Unfortunately, one of the dresses I tried on gave me a rash but because Jenna was so nice to me, I decided to come back to at least get the shoes and jewelry. Awhile back my mom had a credit card from David's Bridal (my mother bought my sweet 16 dress from David's Bridal in California ) and she figured she would give her shot in paying my items. That same manager that I had the interview with made me feel uncomfortable once again as if I couldn't afford the items because they were going to the extent of looking into my moms credit card. I then proceeded to pay with my own money, because I can afford it. (My mom was just trying to pay for it) the attitude, the vibe, and the scoffs and laughs really humiliated my mom along with myself. During the times I came in, I asked a couple of their employees to put me in their list multiple times to know information and to receive a notice and be on Jenna's list to set up a bridal appointment. Never received a notification neither received any calls to set up an appointment. (Maybe it was for the best) So I write this review to inform you about my experiences from this particular David's Bridal. I will for sure be giving my business elsewhere. read more

We bought shoes one day, and realized they would not work with my daughter's prom dress so returned them (never worn outside trying them on at the store) the next day. We were told "company policy" does not allow cash refunds, that a check has to be mailed from corporate. Besides being a bogus policy, it has been nearly a week, and no check has arrived. Bad business, David's Bridal. Although representatives work hard, during both times I have been in this spring it has taken 10+ minutes to even be acknowledged. The employees are nice enough but it seemed like everybody was brand new -- and I mean at least 3 employees I interacted with. They didn't know where dresses were, or charts, or billing codes, or how to do pretty much anything other than smile and nod. What should have taken 5 minutes was 30 excruciating minutes. I wish I could give this rating negative stars. We ordered, and paid in full, for my daughter's wedding dress on 2/19/22. We were told the dress would be in the store by 3/19/22. We called the store on 3/20 to learn that there was no record of our order. Even with the receipt number, they were unable to locate it. They blamed it on computer issues and said they would get back to me. They did not call me back. I gave them a pass because it was later on a Sunday and figured they were getting ready to close. I waited for a call, on Monday, and when I didn't get a call , decided to call them. A person answered, who was covering from a different store, and looked everything up. She was able to pull up my receipt and told me that it appeared as though the dress was marked as a "cash and carry" and never ordered. She placed the order and told me that the dress would be in by the end of April. (This was 3/21.) I called on 4/7 to make sure the order had been placed and was told the dress was in. Apparently we had 14 days to pick it up but we're never notified it was in. We went to pick the dress up on 4/16. We were 2nd in line and they waited on 3 othered before me. After waiting for them to find the dress, the clerk returned with a package (picture provided) and handed it to me. The dress looked like similar to a package received from Amazon. The clerk apologized that the dress had never been opened and put on a hanger. She told me that I should hang it in a well ventilated area because, similar to clothing received from Amazon, can take on an odor from the packaging. I was shocked and should have made a scene when this happened, but there were so many people in the store, trying on wedding dresses, that I didn't want to spoil their dress shopping day. I did get home, hang the dress, and there is no odor. The dress is a wrinkled mess, but appears to be in acceptable shape. I have tried calling, to speak with a Manager, was put on hold for 20 minutes and finally gave up. I would give zero stars if I could! So I ordered my bridesmaids dresses and they came too small. They had to order them because the size was not available in the store, it took over 7 days for total order to come in and they came just a few days apart. Return policy is 7 days from date of purchase, yet you don't get your merchandise until after the 7 days so they won't take returns and I'm stuck with dresses I'll never use and they won't give me money back. It's a scam! The store is terrible, the staff practically manipulates you into purchases then the shipping always exceeds the return date. Don't shop David's bridal, huge mistake! Went to David's Bridal and had a awful experience. From the start the women working there told us to find 5 dresses we liked. So of course we did and then when I was trying them on she says well you can only try on 5. Our appointment was 1 hour long and I had tried on the 5 dresses in the matter of 20-30 mins. If she had told us from the beginning we only had five to try on I would have been more picky! I had found one from the five that I had liked but not loved and had wanted to try on more in that specific style. Wow, I hated my experience at this store. Let me explain. I called the store 2 weeks ahead of time for an appointment which they happily gave me. They also politely reminded me that a dress would take about 4-6 weeks to arrive. Fine, I say. So I arrive to my appointment 5 minutes early and check-in. I then proceed to wait about 20 minutes for someone to finally come get me to help me get my bridesmaid dress. She rushes me along asking me what I'm looking for so I explain my peramaters she graps 2 dresses and puts me in a dressing room saying, "I'm not actually your consultant, your consultant is wrapping up with the bride in the changing room beside yours but she will be able to help you when you're ready." Okay...... So Dress one goes on. I walk out to look in the mirror and then stand around looking for my consultant. She's no where to be found. Hmmm.. Back in and try on the second dres, come out. No Consultant. I stand around for a few minutes awkwardly waiting. Alright, apparently I have to go FIND my consultant. So I get back into my street clothes and walk around looking for her. I finally stopped the manager and said..uhhh...Is anyone going to help me? She looked embarrased and said..Oh you're such a fast changer!!! Right...fast changer..clearly it's my fault. I tell her the dress didn't fit so she goes to find another style in a another size and puts me back in the dressing room. Same senario repeats itself. But at least this time I know what dress I want. So I come out tell her I want x dress in x size. She tells me oh...its giong to take 8 weeks to order it. um. you said 4-6 weeks and this is a late notice wedding. Still no consultant- only the manager. So I say. Look...do you have the dress in x color in ANY size in this store. She says yes, and hands it to me. So I've got the dress in 2 sizes too large and I've taken it to a local tailor who's charging half of what Davids wanted to charge me to take it in and shorten it. (And she'll do it in only a week and half's time. ) Long story short: David's gave me an appointment to meet with someone which never actually happened. I received ZERO service, waited forever to just get in a changing room and ZERO appology. I had a good experience with Sarah as my consultant. I had alot of fun trying on all of the dresses. I had my mom, his mom and 3 of my bridesmaid with me. Sarah made it easy to get in and out of them all and helped me pick out all the undergarments. She was very patient as i said no to dress after dress. I went online ahead of time and added a few favorite to my list. The disappointing part was some dresses only go up to a certain size or the store doesnt carry the dress in a size I could try on. I had pictures on my phone i showed her of my ideas for a dream dress. None of the dressed I tried were what I imagined. We even tried neck lines and skirt types I hadn't selected, to see if I liked them. I went during their sale and got 50 dollars off the dress, which was a nice bonus. I did pick a lovely dress that is very flattering, but not the dress I imagined. I wished they had a better selection or I had tried other stores first. I was able to get all my bridesmaids thier dresses that day. They tried the dress on, just in different color than my selction and ordered them that day. All the dresses and accessories came in quickly, within a month. They say they have to be picked up within 7 days of arrival, but as long as you call and tell them when you will pick it up they are very understanding Update: my dress came in and was labeled as the wrong size and didn't fit. On May 2018, myself and my daughter went to David's Bridal to look for a bridal dress for myself. It was my second marriage and I wanted something with color and not a traditional wedding dress. It was not very busy (in fact there was only 2 other customers in the changing area) but we were ignored and when we asked to try on a few dresses we selected, the sales associate gave us a fake smile and hastily unlocked the dressing room door and walked away. We were ignored the whole time and selected our own dresses without assistance. We decided on a dress and brought it up to purchase and suddenly the sales associate appeared all smiles (I assume if they receive commission she will claim it) and asked us how things were. Not pleased...thanks for the lack of assistance. This month my" to be daughter in law" wanted to try on dresses for her upcoming wedding. Her sales associate was very attentive and extremely pleasant. My daughter in law found a dress and they ordered it for her. Aprox 10 days later my daughter in law received a call saying her dress was in and when can she pick it . She lives out of state so she asked me to pick it up for her. Due to scheduling conflicts, I could not pick the dress up that week but would get it within 10 days. I called David's Bridal and spoke with a pleasant women. I explained that I will be in on Monday (this was Saturday) to pick up the dress. She said she would note the account. On Sunday, my daughter in law received an email stating that she has to pick up her dress in one week or they will send it back. Needless to say this upset her and was very worried that she would lose her dress. After being contacted by my son if this email, I called David's Bridal again, but the voice mall continued to say that there was no associate to take my call (even though they claimed to be open). I called 10 times and never talked to a person. I called again on Monday and asked for the manager. I explained the situation to the manager and asked why would they send out an email after I just talked to them and upset the bride. She was rather dismissive with me and said it was automatic email and they never send a dress back. I asked why they would cause added stress to a new bride to be and she just laughed it off and said that it was no big deal. I also explained that my husband would be picking up the dress and I was concerned that it would travel ok in the car. Again, she was rather annoyed with my questions and could not get me off the phone fast enough. The customer service at David's Bridal leaves a lot to be desired. My experience with David's Bridal was not so great. I live in Canada and drove 8 hours to find my dream gown. I looked everywhere in New Brunswick and Nova Scotia, and my wedding is in 6 months so it's definitely crunch time. When I got there I was told I wasn't allowed to browse the dresses, the consultant would pull the dresses. I didn't like anything in the catalogue, so this made it very frustrating for me to show the consultant what I was looking for. I only tried on 5 dresses in 2.5 hours, which was also quite frustrating! The quality of the gowns were not great at all. The Vera Wang line was great, but my consultant was hesitant to put me in any of these gowns because they didn't have my size. I went to David's Bridal with an unlimited budget and left there empty handed and disappointed. I much prefer the little boutiques where you can pick what you try on!! read more

What an absolutely fabulous time we had! Chloe was so thoughtful and her attention to detail was amazing. She listened to exactly what I wanted from all the dresses I was trying in and showed up like a fairy godmother to give me the perfect dress. I am so grateful for my experience! . . After 4 days and many non-pleasent experiences at bridal salons I reluctantly went to a different Davids bridal with my mom and MOH. The first Davids was ok but I was not impressed. I swore I would not buy a dress there but I did. Our salesgirl was amazing! She was so sweet and got the dresses I asked to try on as well as the dresses she recommended for me. If they did not fit right she pinned and clipped them in place just like the upper end stores and let me play with accessories. I ended up buying and Oleg Casini and it is beautiful. When we checked out she asked what time it was when we said 5:30 she said she should have been off at 4! You never would have known. She did not complain or rush me. I must have tried on 20 dresses and she was fantastic. If not for her I may not have bought my dress from them. She gave us a discount and they had a large variety of dresses. I got my junior prom dress here back in 2003, along with the rest of the girls in my junior class. Their selection is pretty generic and blah, but that's kinda what you're junior prom is all about. They do in store, same day alterations which is helpful. I've also been here a couple of times trying on bridesmaid dresses and the staff was really helpful. I have received nothing but excellent, cordial service there. David's Bridal can get a bad reputation--but this store is clearly very well managed. The alterations to my dress were done quickly and with excellent quality. All my bridesmaids had a very easy and pleasant time getting their dresses from this branch as well. Even when busy, I did not feel rushed by their alterations department while at my fittings. I LOVE MY DRESS! I'm still obsessed with it even after my wedding has come and gone. The price was pretty reasonable. The staff were helpful and seem to genuinely care about you. I've gone to David's Bridal for my wedding gown and twice to purchase a bridesmaids dress for other weddings. Now my only complaint is that when I needed alterations on my train for the reception, they seemed to take my opinion in stride and started to pin what they thought looked best. They then handed me the bill and the cost was 1/4 of what I paid for the dress alone. I was floored. I didn't go through with it. I would suggest using anyone but DB for your alterations. read more

Wow! What a disappointment. I went to David's Bridal when I was in Maine because my bride's maids live closest to that store (I'm living in NYC). I had purchased a gown there years ago and remember the experience as having been good, as well as all the products I purchased. This time was different. In all fairness, I didn't have an appointment but they said they could take me right in. We sat around looking at magazines for about 20 minutes and then just started looking on our own. Eventually, the girl came around when we needed to try a dress we only saw on a mannequin. She tried to be helpful, but she really had too much going on. I think she was the only girl in the store helping customers with gowns, which is ridiculous. We went through the same hassle with everything from shoes to jewelry. The jewelry selection was useless -- all cheesy looking stuff and nothing in pearls. There wasn't a single tiara in the store. Purses, same story. It took us about 30 minutes to finally get shoes from the back in my size, but they were so grimy my bridesmaids wouldn't let me put them on even with footies. They were mucky everywhere but where you could see the shape of the toes which was just dirty. I was unsure of the style but was told at checkout that I could exchange it if I wasn't happy. No problem. Guess what? Problem! I ended up buying another Oleg Cassini through David's Bridal online. Turns out, they are saying the will not refund the money on my first gown because it was purchase through the STORE not ONLINE! All things said, I will eat 1,600.00? Can they really think this is good business? If they aren't affiliated, they should have a different name. I bought my prom dress from Davids Bridal, in South Portland Maine, when i picked out my dress there was a foundation stain all over the neck line, I pointed it out to the alterations department and they insured me it would be cleaned. A few weeks later I pick it up, and try it on at home and realize that the foundation stain is still there. I brought it back on April 26th and when I came to pick it up the manager came over to tell me that the chemicals used to clean the dress burnt a hole about the size of a nickel in my dress. They told me they would look at other solons in the area, the closest is Boston, they are not sure when it will arrive, and when I mentioned my prom is may 5th, only giving one week to have it shipped and altered. read more

Let me start off by saying that I found a dress that I really like and Katey, the stylist was very friendly. I went yesterday to get a dress because I recently got engaged and we planned our wedding only seven months from now. I saw that they were having their end of season sale (otherwise known as the $99 sale) and knew I had to rush in. I live three hours away but made the long trip expecting something amazing. Unfortunately, I was extremely disappointed with the sale. They advertise it like CRAZY and when Katey brought me dresses that I could try on, she brought me only four (all that were many sizes too big - I'm a size 12 or 14 depending on the dress, and she only brought 16s and 18s). When I asked her if I could try on more, she said she didn't believe there were any more. Really? Out of this entire huge sale (that still lasts two weeks, may I add) you have no more dresses? I couldn't believe it. I ended up picking the second dress, because when pinned, it looked beautiful, and I absolutely adored it. It was light and exactly my style, it had a drop waist and the texture was perfect. Any reservations that I had were simply because it was a size 18 and would need SERIOUS alterations. If I hold the dress around me and let go, it drops to the floor. Katey brought out the alterations manager, who was not very friendly and who left me feeling very awkward. She reassured me that YES, the dress could be altered, but that it would cost $250 to do so (twice the amount I was even paying for the dress). Upon reading these reviews, I'm happy to say that I have made the decision to get it altered elsewhere. I'm happy with what I got but my experience could have been much better all around. read more

I was told by customer service that I would be able to get a store credit. When I called, I was interrupted and told returns for same or greater value. I was given this long story from their customer service department about how they will do what is in the best interest of the bride. My big issue is- don't lie. This past weekend was INTENSE to say the least. My best friend is getting married and as per my duties as the maid of honor, I went with her to a Bridal Show in Porland, ME this weekend. I have never been so inundated with information in my life....WOW. But the good news is we got plenty of ideas and a base from which to start planning so on to David's Bridal. Day 2 of the Show we managed to get an appointment with the overbooked David's Bridal. It was so busy with people from the Show going over to try on dresses etc... But we managed to get in. Sarah, kudos to her was SUPER SUPER friendly and just wonderful overall. Completely honest and funny. "If I didn't think it looked good I wouldn't say anything." I lost count after 10 on how many wedding dresses I helped my friend in and out of. Those things must weigh 20lbs at least. And Sarah was forever trotting back and forth between us and another group. We finally found an empire style dress that was gorgeous and then it was on to the bridesmaid dresses - we found an empire style dress that went well with the wedding dress, and have everything together for that part now for the rest to fall into place. So Kudos to Sarah and all the gang at David's Bridal you guys ROCK and didn't lose your cool despite the high stress environment!! 5 Stars and see you when we're ready to buy the dresses! read more

Let me start off by saying I loved my dress and the sales associate that helped me pick it out. I went in wanting a short dress, only 3 to pick from but I loved the one I got. The alterations is where it all went downhill. I went to my first appointment, this is where they put me in a bra several sizes too small because they didn't have my size so it was either bigger or smaller. The only alterations required were shortening the wedding dress and take up the straps on the bridesmaids gown. When I went to pick up the dress after receiving multiple email confirmations for appointments at various times (none were the actual appointment I scheduled) I was shocked to see the hem of my tulle dress looked like a child had cut it it! The bridesmaids dress had some white stuff all over it which they were able to remove. The wedding dress also had a big black smudge across the belly. I was told after 2 attempts to remove the black mark that it was the fabric yet on the third attempt it came out. Seriously ladies, I would have noticed it the 3 times I tried it on. Now, back to the hem, it was awful. They took it out back for about 20 min and came out saying it was fixed. It wasn't even close to fixed. There were spots that were 3 inches longer than the spot next to it. The lady in alterations then told me, "it is hard to cut tulle straight!" I will say the seamstress was patient and worked for and hour with me wearing the dress to fix the hem line. She did make me feel like I was being way too fussy and she was clearly frustrated. I wasn't about to pay for something that look like a rat chewed the bottom off of. I cannot believe they would try to have customers sign off on dresses that came out looking like these, if I were them Id be embarrassed. The final straw was the wedding day. I purchased a birdcage veil from the store. Silly me, I left it wrapped in the tissue paper until my hair appointment. When we took it out it was ripped, right in the front. David's Bridal told me if I knew someone that could sew we could try to fix it. Needless to say, I went without a birdcage and will be getting a refund. Unless you have the time to check and re check everything from this store I would suggest going elsewhere. read more

My review for Davids Bridal is 3 Stars. However, my review for Taylor at Davids Bridal is 5 stars. She really improved the Davids Bridal experience for my family. My sister left with a dress she was really happy with, and Taylor did an excellent job listening, and being more than patient with us when we went beyond the appointment window. In the 4 times that I have visited Davids Bridal in the last year, this was by far our best experience. read more

While the bride in our party found the dress she wanted here (after trying on several duds, but I'll get to that) the experience was... not exceptional. The person attending us seemed kind of rough around the edges and rednecky, and she rolled her eyes when we tried to make suggestions. She didn't ask the bride questions about what she wanted, and after being told several times by the bride that she didn't want a lot of detail/rhinestones/sequins kept bringing really elaborate dresses over. I hated almost every dress she put on the bride and was vocal about it, which she gave me dirty looks for (sorry, I don't want my friend to be ugly on her wedding day). The one good thing I can say is that once it got time to have the bridal party try on dresses, she made a recommendation of a dress that was flattering to our varying body types, and we were all happy with it. read more

My first dress shopping experience, and it was exciting! Sarah was super nice, friendly, and knowledgable. I did not end up returning just because I found better selection of dresses at other places. And unfortunately have heard horror stories about David's uncooperative and unprofessional customer service from friends who have gone there. I think its all in who you get as a consultant, there are some that are better then others I'm sure. Overall, very basic experience and run of the mill dresses. read more

I have been to a lot of David's Bridals recently as I plan my wedding. And overall every visit has been awful. Our attendant never had time for us and would only show up when we went to pay. We went this past weekend to get my last bridesmaid dress and worked with Sam. Sam was so attentive and helpful. While the store was very busy, she made my bridesmaid and I feel like we were the only ones in the store. Thank you so much Sam! You're great at what you do!! read more

I went to David's bridal today with my mom, four of my bridesmaids, and my flower girl. We had Mary and she was so great, she totally gets five stars. She was so patient with mine (and mostly my mom's!) picky-ness, and she had great suggestions of dresses for us! We were about 15 minutes late to the appointment and they were super understanding and didn't seem bothered at all, and it was a very busy day. We sat down and Mary looked through the look book with me and then we looked at my Pinterest together at my MANY ideas :) I may be slightly indecisive. She was very nice and let me go on and on. I think she knew immediately in her head after I showed her my Pinterest and we looked through the book what dress was going to be my dream dress, but she read me perfectly and got me a bunch of selections to try on first so I could see how I felt about different options on my body which I totally needed. When she brought over my dress she said this is gonna be the one, it's just like what we talked about, and she was right! It's so perfect for me and I absolutely love it (it even has pockets!) but I would definitely have doubted it more if it had been the first one I tried on. She was equally as savvy about my ideas for bridesmaids dresses and helped us find the perfect one...and I have many different body types and personalities in my bridal party! The manager was very sweet too and came over to check in with us. Also, after we left I had to run back in to order one last thing and the doors were locked cause they were closing up, but they let me in and had no problem still helping me. I couldn't give David's Bridal a five for a couple of reasons. I probably would have given a three rating but Mary saved it!! Firstly, I like the mirrors all around but it is soo weird the dressing rooms don't have mirrors on the inside!? After you get in your dress you have to come out blind and your party sees you before you even know what you look like. I HATED that. Also, my flower girl is seven years old and usually wears a girls size eight, but they had little to no selection for her. ONE dress in the whole store fit her. No exaggeration. And it was not what we were looking for at all. Needless to say that was pretty disappointing. Luckily, Mary to the rescue again and she let my flower girl explore all over and play with the different accessories and help look at dresses and I know she ended up having a lot of fun anyways. Overall, we had a super fun time and I couldn't be more excited about getting all of our dresses! read more

I had a good experience with Emily. I went to David's with some ideas already in my head and favorites saved. I also knew was going to busy due to it being a prom dress sale weekend (didn't really think that through). But Emily was still very helpful even with the place in general being very busy. I was very indecisive for the beginning, just wanted to try one on just know "it was the one". Emily brought over a dress that was NOTHING like I had imagined just to try, I was a little reluctant about it cause it was not something I saw myself wearing. But OMG I fell in love with it! She even helped pair it with a sash that just completed it. It ended up being the dress I bought. Was so happy and thankful, probably would have left discouraged if she hadn't brought that dress over. Thank you so much for giving me a good experience even when the store was VERY busy! read more
