Dude! I can't do this. David's will have me Sumo wrestling part-time if I keep this up! I'm not a burger buff by any stretch of the imagination, but this burger joint is legit! The vintage diner appeal is in full effect at David's Burgers, their dining room attendants (yep, you heard me) are friendly and attentive; refilling drinks and fries at every turn. The meals are very filing-- I could only eat half of my #1 burger combo, but it's not for lack of trying! The endless, hand cut fries with meal purchase isn't a bad deal either! I've never seen that done before --pretty cool idea! Lastly, the free ice cream samples tipped the scales! Although it's more custard than ice cream, it's good and warranted a 2nd visit the next day from the hubs! (He loves the chocolate flavor!) We were just passing through the area to get gas on a long drive, and went through this drive through on a whim because my husband's name is David. It was SO worth the quick detour! Victoria at the pick-up window was great! She was so friendly and offered our three dogs pup cups and got us little ice cream samples too!! That was so kind of her! We got our meal with a veteran discount. The burgers were well made. They stayed together and weren't too messy to eat on the road. Not to mention they were delicious! The fries were pretty good as well, they definitely grew on us. Overall we were incredibly impressed with the service and the food and would definitely stop here again if our travels take us back in this direction! read more

With a name like "David's", I was expecting unapparelled quality. What I got was a burnt, soggy mess. I'm going to just cut to the chase. I had the #2 meal and it was nasty. The fries tasted like they had been cooked in motor oil drained from Mad Max's car after it had been set on fire. In other words, the fries weren't really burnt but they tasted that way due to the old oil they were cook in. I will say that the oil from the burger tasted fresh. And I had plenty of opportunity to judge that oil from the vast amount pouring from the meat patty. Oil coated both my arms from the finger tips to the elbows. Oil soaked through the bag that I had to eat over to keep from ruining my clothes. Oil soaked through my clothes that were ruined when the bag fell apart from the quart and a half of oil that poured into it. Oil coated both legs when the ruined clothes could no longer contain the oil slick that had been created. Oh, did I mention the bun? With that much oil, how do you think the bun held up? Yep, it disintegrated almost immediately. The only positive I can say about this; the price. $11 for an oil change is a pretty good deal. read more

On a road trip today and was wanting a quick lunch that wasn't the standard drive through food. Decided to stop here and was very pleased with the food and service. They serve the basic double and single burgers, cheeseburgers and chicken sandwiches. You can get burgers with or without a bun and the combos come with endless fries. Quality meat made for a delicious burger and they top it just the way you want it. The bun was toasted and warm. A nice selection of beverages at the self-serve drink bar. They will bring an Ice cream sample by the table at the end of the meal. Employees were friendly and helpful. This Arkansas owned chain has six locations in central Arkansas. I wanted a really good burger and had passed by this place several times, going to and from work. Finally had some time to have a late lunch and popped into the Conway location. Seemed Five Guy-Ish, but with "free fries" a la Red Robin. I never got my fresh free fries while waiting but that's okay. I chatted a bit with a server, which was nice. My burger came out just as ordered. Very good!!! It was quiet inside at this time so I got to read a bit while I enjoyed my burger. Definite thumbs up read more

This place is amazing you walk in they have all of the meat displayed that they use on your burger. This has to be the best franchise burger establishment in the United States. If you've seen my review of the all American burger on Long Island you will note that this location is different in that it creates a fresh burger right on location two different experiences but no question about it goes without saying if you're on the interstate 40 going through Arkansas you have to stop here. read more

Finally had the opportunity to stop today and passing by Multiple times. Had the grilled chicken sammich. The chicken tasted fresh and well seasoned. It was a bit sloppy, which I wouldn't have minded so much because of taste, but was only given one napkin. The fries were a bit disappointing. They were fresh cut, but they seemed to have been out of the grease for a while. Kind of soggy and limp. Despite the negatives I'd certainly go back, but ask for extra napkins. Maybe the fries were just a fluke. The customer service alone is with the return visit. Great job team David! read more

Driving through the state of Arkansas , spotted this place and decided to try it because of the rating and photo post on Yelp. This place was packed with so many people so now I'm really curious about this burger place. OMG! Soooooo so so good ! If they had more stars I would give more. The hamburgers had the old fashion burger taste I remember eating growing up, the meat was well seasoned and really huge big enough to share bec you would get full fast eating the unlimited fries they give you while you wait which was an awesome idea. I also tasted the vanilla ice cream, that's another winner !! Old school taste and is delicious I wish they had this place in my hometown ... I will definitely return. read more

We stopped here passing through Little Rock and this place was phenomenal! The food was so good and the staff was bringing around fries to anyone who wanted more. The. Burgers were great and you can tell they put a lot of thought into their ground beef because it was seasoned better than any other restaurant burger I've had.They also bring out free ice cream samples when you finish your meal. My wife and I both agree this place was better than in-n-out and five guys burgers and fries. Aside from the food, the customer service was top notch! Hailey was the employee that was checking on customers on the floor and bringing fries around and she was so nice! She always had a smile on her face and was very helpful, it made our day better for sure. We will definitely be coming back here when we head back through! read more

I stopped by here with my family driving back from VK. I was instantly impressed with the cleanliness of the store and the greeting from the employees when we walked in. The front window display has a row of steaks, so it's obvious that all the hamburgers are ground in the store and fresh. After we sat down we were greeted with free french fries that were freshly cut. They were delicious. The hamburgers were large and seasoned and hit the spot. The waitress brought us our food and also gave us free samples of ice cream. This is one of the best burger joints I've ever stopped in. Wish we had one in Baton Rouge. read more

Went to David's to grab dinner before heading in to work a 12 hr shift at a local hospital. Placed my order at the drive through at 1810 and finally paid at 1814 at the first window. I only ordered two beef steaks for ~$11. I asked the cashier if that was the price for just the two Pattie's and she stated yes, if I got a drink it would be a dollar more. No thanks. When I made it to the 2nd window @1824, I was asked if I had paid. Yes, I told the cashier. She closed the window and came back. Well it shows that you haven't paid. I pulled out my receipt and she takes it and they're looking at it. I said you know what just give me my money back because this is the 2nd time in less than 2 weeks that I've been to this location and I've had problems. By now it is 1827. I have three minutes before I have to be clocked in. Another worker took my receipt and refunded the order and stated that I had actually paid for someone else's order. And that I should receive my refund in a day or two and if not to call them back. Needless to say, I didn't make it on time. So not only was I late for work but I also didn't have anything to eat for dinner. I was uber upset. The first time there, I ordered a salad and every piece of lettuce in the container was wilted, brown, and slimy. I called the next day and was told to come back with pictures and they would give me another salad which they did however, the two times that I've been there something has been wrong. I won't be going back there ever again. I've visited other David's Burgers in Little Rock and the food is always amazing and the service is always great. Not in Conway. Super disappointed. Stopped off the highway for a bite to eat at David's Burgers, I am from Connecticut and it was my first time. The burger was delicious, and the fries were endless, but I just want to give lots of praise for the outstanding staff that was there this evening, they had just serviced a bus load of people but still maintained high quality service, the kid cooking the burgers was keeping everyone in sync with their jobs, what a great bunch of kids very attentive and always keeping a smile. Better than your typical fast food chain, but still fast food. I appreciate that they have a small menu and they focus all their energy on what they're all about. The burgers are great, maybe the best meat patty I've had at any similar restaurant. The fries were ok, though not may favorite. The burger may be a notch above Five Guys, though the fries were not. A more generous portion of onions on the burger rather than a token three rings is preferred. I ate here twice recently, so I will come back for more. I suggest trying out a new microphone at the drive through as it appeared that there was difficulty hearing the order on my second visit, and the incorrect toppings on the burgers confirmed that. read more

I am a big fan of David's! So much, I stopped on my way to Alabama and on the way back! When you walk in you are greeted by a very entertaining staff. "Welcome to Davids!". The menu is basic, burgers and fries. But the burgers are not basic...they are so good! My husband and I ordered the kids meal and it was more than enough food. The burger was perfectly cooked and not too greasy. Very good bun. All meals come with bottomless fries. They continually bring fries to your table throughout the meal. To top it all off, they bring you free ice cream samples after your meal. The only downside to David's-- it is very crowded. We stopped during lunch, and had to wait a few minutes for a table. On the way back we stopped around 5, right before the rush. But, believe me, it is worth the wait! read more

The service was ok. Nothing notable except that they refill your fries on a greasy napkin. The burgers were alright. Nothing memorable. Not nearly as good as Five Guys. We haven't found any great burger spots in Conway so this is about as good as any. I don't think it's worth the price. We haven't been back and don't plan to go back anytime. read more
