Tried takeout from David's Burgers and it did not disappoint. I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich combo with fries and an Arnold Palmer. Everything was fresh, hot, and made correctly. The chicken sandwich was juicy and loaded with flavor, topped with melty cheese, crispy bacon, and grilled onions that really brought it all together. The bun was soft and held up nicely, and the tomato added a fresh bite. Fries were hot and crispy, just how they should be, and the Arnold Palmer was perfectly balanced. Service is always phenomenal, even for takeout, which says a lot. Haven't dined in yet, but based on this experience, that's definitely next on the list. read more

I'm visiting from So. Calif., where there is an In-N-Out every few miles. They have an almost cult following, but I am here to say that the burger and fries I had here at David's is the clear winner over In-N-Out. The burger was seasoned and cooked perfectly and the meat was very flavorful. The burger was the perfect thickness. This was one of the best burgers I've eaten in a while. My family and I came across David's Burgers while passing by Little Rock to tour the medical center. We stopped by for lunch over the weekend and it was packed! The staff here are very kind and the interior is clean and organized. Our cashier gave us a good overview of the menu. We ordered a #2 Double burger combo, #1 Single burger combo, and a kid's grilled chicken sandwich combo. The unlimited fries are a unique perk to David's Burgers and the employees come by your table frequently with freshly cooked and crispy fries to refill. If you're not a fan of french fries, then you can substitute the fries with a salad for only $2. As seen in many of the prior reviews, the burgers here are AMAZING! The patties are well seasoned and the meat tastes fresh. The buns are also quite fluffy and pair well with the assortment of toppings that they offer. Similarly, the chicken patty was well seasoned and juicy, so don't miss out on trying the grilled chicken either. Their drinks are also refreshing on a sunny day so be sure to try out their southern sweet tea. Overall, if you're staying in Little Rock or just passing through, I highly recommend checking out this David's Burgers location because the food is high quality & fresh and the employees create a friendly and exciting atmosphere. read more

This is one of two locations we've tried so far. Both were equally great! We have a "hobby" of seeking out local and regional burger chains all over the USA. We've probably tried about a dozen so far, and SO glad we discovered David's. They're definitely one of the very best we've found. Excellent burger -- big tasty patties with fresh ingredients on a nice sturdy bun. Fantastic fries -- this is where most burger joints fail. These are really good. And they come around offering refills! Super dangerous. Great service -- genuinely friendly folks who seem to like their jobs. Super clean and tidy. Even the quality of their soft serve ice cream is way above-average (and that's coming from someone who finds most of it inedible). Oh. And did I mention the great service? They're seriously on the ball in this department! We drive through Arkansas pretty regularly, so we will just keep popping in at David's whenever it's practical to do so. Really mad at myself for not refusing dinner last night at Dave's Burger. I should have refused it and had it sent back. But like a dummy I said nothing and just ate it while feeling disappointed. I had ordered a hamburger steak with onions and mushrooms. I was expecting a nice juicy steak for the $10.00 price. What I got was a paper thin small burger, over cooked to death, dry with a few bits of burnt onions and a few crumble of mushroom pieces. They should be ashamed to serve such a burger steak. This place just radiates joy!!! It has a cute retro diner vibe. We came by here while visiting from out of state and I may have to come back just to visit this place. The staff greet you when you enter with gusto. They were patient with our order. They bring out hot fries while you wait for your order. Then you get more fries with your order. My husband says they are some of the best fries he's ever had. My kids inhaled the grilled cheese. The burgers were salty and delicious without being too greasy. They brought out samples of the ice cream and the girl even let the kids go make a cone themselves. This made their day!!! I'm so jealous that we don't have these close by. Called order in. Went to pick it up. Sat in drive through and nobody opened the door to get our name. I finally got out of the car and knocked. I told them we had a call in. I also asked if they didn't see us in the drive through. We received blank stares. We were then told that they don't start preparing your order till you get there and pay. The girl that took our order over the phone failed to mention that. So we had to wait for them to cook our food. The shift lead was a nice young man and tried to give us ice cream. The burgers were delicious, a decent size, and a good price point. They used real Idaho potatoes for the fries which were crispy and hot and fresh ones were brought to the table regularly! Fry refill? Yes please! Place was full when we got there so there wasn't ample seating but we managed to pull up a chair to one of the bench seats. Overall satisfied with the service and food...but what pissed me off is that your restaurant charged me a 1.00 tip without asking...wtf!!! I have been to many places from Arizona to Maine, and this is the best burger I have ever had. Fries are up there too!! The burger is flavorful, juicy (but not too juicy where it drips a lot), VERY FRESH (you can taste the freshness!), and a good price for what you get. The fries are served piping hot, crisp, with a great saltiness level and are as fresh as all of the burger ingredients! The place is clean, the music is very fun, and the environment was extremely friendly. I could tell they appreciated our excitement and business. We had three workers, including the manager, check in multiple times to see how we were doing, to refill our drinks, replenish our fries, and provide complimentary tasters of their soft serve! Stumbled across this place on my business visit to area. Went because of strong reviews. Walking in a was confused a minute seeing the neat case until I saw the pictures and guess at the story behind it. Ordered standard burger, fries and drink. Friendly team member who took order, money then handed me butcher red and white paper. Again confused took it and my order number and was seated. About .3-5 minutes later, team member came by with stainless steel bowl full of seasoned fry's and place on my red and white butchers paper. Aahhh that's what it's for. Burger wasn't far behind the fries. Bring a burger pro, I just saw this simple tasty burger is ond of my favorites of all time. Fresh steak meat, veggies and perfect bun was easy to devour and want more. But the true treat if this visit was the staff! True caring polite helpful constant service was outstanding take away. Ordered food at pick up window , got home took a bite of the burger something unidentifiable white and hard fell out the burger. It literally looked like tile grout! I called the restaurant spoke to manger he told me he would look into it and call me back. Well a month later still no phone call! Not surprised. I even texted photos of the burger with foreign object . Pathetic customer service and we ordered at this bowman location every week for several years. But that was and will be our last time.
