DISAPPOINTING! My daughter's Chicken primavera: she took one bite and said she could not eat it. Sent it back but was still charged. My lasagna was one layer 4"x4" with cheese, very little meat, loads of mozzarella cheese on top and swimming in sauce. Very soupy. My husband's chicken piccata was not tender and flat tasting. While working in Allentown, PA this week, a local coworker recommended this spot, and I'm so glad we checked it out. We visited on a Wednesday evening and were seated immediately, as there was only one other table occupied when we arrived. The restaurant offers plenty of seating both indoors and out on the patio. Since it was hot and raining, we chose to dine inside. The interior is beautifully designed with a cozy, authentic Italian feel that adds to the overall dining experience. Our server was friendly and welcoming, greeting us right at the door and returning quickly to take our drink orders. The menu is extensive--there are tons of options to choose from, which made it tough to decide. I ended up ordering the Spicy Fried Chicken Jalapeño Sandwich with a side of fries. I enjoy spicy food, and this sandwich absolutely delivered. The jalapeño sauce was rich, flavorful, and one of the best I've ever had. The bread tasted freshly baked--possibly even house-made--and really elevated the entire sandwich. The fries were standard, but they came out hot, crisp, and well-seasoned. Overall, this was a great dining experience. The food, service, and atmosphere were all on point. I'll definitely be saving this spot for future visits and look forward to exploring more items from their massive menu. read more

My husband and I decided to try this Italian restaurant on a Sunday before going to a show. The restaurant is nice and modern, walls covered with pictures of actors and/or stars. We were greeted right when we walked in. Our server was very nice and personable. If I had to rate on cleanliness and service, I would give them 4.5 stars. But the food was where they lost stars, due to the lack of quantity and quality of our main dishes. We had two waters to drink, shared appetizer of rice balls, (comes with 3), they give complimentary bread and an amazing dipping sauce ( which is a secret recipe, per our waitress). The bread and sauce was the best part of the meal. My husband ordered the fettuccine Alfredo , ( look at the picture, hardly any fettuccine, but tons of sauce, looks more like soup) I ordered the chicken parm dinner. It came with one very small chicken cutlet. Both dishes came with a side salad. Our order came to $65 plus, which is not worth it for how much you receive in your main dish. Definitely a cute Italian place. I'm glad I was in the area and decided to try it out for lunch. I got the Italian wedding soup, and then I did the lunch grilled chicken pesto Panini with a side salad, and I liked that the pesto was red based which was unique and delicious. The menu had a great variety for all preferences. Haley, the waitress, was also fantastic. I would definitely go back. read more

My fuance and I go here regularly without nothing but praise for their food, spending hundreds of dollars for eat in and take out. Today, I ordered a Rosa Penne pasta dish. It was very watery and there was no taste to the noodles. I had 2 bites for a $28.00 meal. We told the server and she said she would ask for it to be removed from our bill. The owner then came up to us telling us that out of the hundreds of pasta dishes he sells, we were the only one to complain. He told us that he would never reimburse us again. We were shocked at his volatile reaction and vow to bever eat there again and to never recommend it to anyone. They lost a valued customer. read more

We've been semi-regulars at Fiorentina for years. Usually about 4-6 visits a year. For a long time, the food was consistently very good, well seasoned with fresh pasta, fair prices, etc. The last few visits (last five months) have been disappointing. We kept trying anyway, hoping that we had just gotten the chef on bad nights. Tonight's dishes were still well below what they were until about a year ago. Pretty bland and uninventive. The fresh pasta was still good. The server was very nice and kept our table of six supplied with drinks and the dishes arrived nice and hot. While our meals were not inspired, they did fill us up. The real disappointment came when we received the bill. Most restaurants include a tip for the server with a party of six or more so I wasn't surprised that a tip had been included on our bill. However, I've never seen an included tip of 25% before. We were not given an option to choose a percentage, just given a service fee. Both the itemized bill and the merchant's charge slip had suggested tip percentages of 20, 22, and 25%. We were simply charged. I would prefer it if the owner charged enough so that they could pay their staff a living wage. The minimum wage of $2.83 an hour, besides insulting is no way to treat an employee, even if they earn decent tips. Pay your employees what they are worth. We won't be back any more. read more

I just happened to stumble on this place while driving back to my hotel from a customer site visit. What can I say about the food? How about ... WOW! I ordered their special of the day, Fiorentina Cajun grilled salmon and shrimp with spinach and a very nice creamy sauce. Amazing flavor! The atmosphere is kind of family rustic. A small 'hole in the wall' place. But very charming and very clean. My waitress, Alex, was super friendly and attentive. The cook came out to check on me to make sure I was enjoying the food. Two years ago I gave this place a five star review. Food was good, service was friendly, and the menu was kid friendly. This evening my husband and I took four kiddos and were shocked to see that the kids menu options increased -- $15 for a grilled cheese, $17 for kids spaghetti, and they no longer offered a kid-sized pizza or kids ravioli. These seem like New York City prices in little ol' Trexlertown, Pennsylvania. The restaurant was fully staffed... Hostess, plenty of servers, bussers, and the owner was walking around. Lots of staff for a pretty small restaurant. So we were surprised when it took a while for our food to come out and the littlest kiddos pizza came out 15 minutes after everyone had received their meals. When our kids got up to go to the bathroom, the waitress came and cleared their food before we had a chance to even say anything. We then started to feel rushed to leave and by this point were ready to just leave anyway. My salad was fresh and good. My Panini was very greasy and tasted less fresh. The kids enjoyed their expensive spaghetti. I don't Mind expensive dinners when the food is good, the service is good, and there are reasonable options for the kids. But tonight I left feeling like we just spent over $150 on noodles and sauce, and I was quite disappointed in a place that I used to think was a hidden gem. read more

I drove by this place by chance, the wings were great! Get the house sauce for a pinch of sweet in the hot sauce. House made beers served in a frosted mug. 8.99 for a dozen wings these days are a steal! My waitress was in tune to my needs, I'm in town for work, she didn't rush, was prompt with refills. Seemed scampi gravy could have easily been frozen and microwaved. Made from scratch noodles didn't impress. When advising server we would share entree and salad, would have been a nice touch to separate into two plates as it's been done at other establishments rather than me shloshing noodles and sauce onto another plate. It was thankfully recommended by a local, so had to try. May never be in that area again, but would give it another shot with a different entree if I was. HIDDEN FEES Well.....time share an update on one of our "Friday Night Favorite" Italian restaurant's. We stopped in a week ago on Friday to relax and decompress. Some things remained constant, but other changed for the worse. The fresh bread with seasoned oil was there, and great as usual. Service was prompt and cordial. All the menu prices have gone up significantly......We get it, COVID, Inflation, trying to survive. But the portions went down also. The food was tasty as usual. Had the only changes been an increase to menu item prices, we'd be back. But, as other reviewers have pointed out. The HIDDEN CREDIT CARD FEE, passed on to us. Honestly, this is the first time we have encountered this charge without advance disclosure. And at a restaurant no less AFTER your meal. Very sneaky and, quite frankly, dishonest. I hope the proprietor finds the hidden 3.8% charge worth their business. For us, the experience is not worth the extra, hidden charges passed on to us. DON'T GET SUCKED IN !!!!!!! Advertised $6 a dozen wings. How could you go wrong. They only sell their beer $9 a glass. A container of blue cheese for your wings with $0.75 a piece. A plate of poached broccoli with garlic sauce $9. And desserts $10 a piece. The kick in the butt was when they charged you $2.60 just for using a credit card. Who does that. We added a $10 tip to that bill. We went in for $6 a dozen wings and ended up spending $85. That's insane way too expensive. My wife and I looked at each other and said we would never be back. Won't be a repeat customer. We got mozzarella sticks, onion rings, French fries, jalapeno burger, wings and chicken tenders. Unfortunately the mozzarella sticks, onion rings and chicken tenders were terrible. I think we got the wrong order for the chicken tenders, they were like coated in a sweet chili sauce? The jalapeno burger was good, until I found a broken tooth pick inside the burger. Thank goodness I bit into the side of the tooth pick that wasn't sharp, it was sideways in the burger patty itself. Fine if you're busy but we were one of two tables, so maybe a little effort could have been put into preparing our food... but no. My husband and I ordered from this restaurant frequently during the COVID Pandemic. It was important to us to support local restaurants. When it came time to celebrate a friend's birthday in "person" three of us (girlfriends) were very excited to dine at this restaurant again. First of all, I must say, I did look up the current liquor "status" online. Just to see if it was BYOB. The outdated info I read referred to a full bar. Upon getting there on a a Tuesday evening after battling an unusually heavy volume of traffic, I was looking forward to having a martini. We were told by the waitress that it was beer and wine only and that she could provide a glass of wine or sangria free of charge. I did ask about the liquor status that was indicated online. At first, the answer was very evasive. When two of us asked to purchase a second glass of sangria, we were told that something happened and the liquor license was under review. We were celebrating a birthday. Otherwise it wouldn't have mattered. Some of the dishes were in the $50 plus dollar range! This seemed to be very astronomical compared with similar restaurants in the area. I ordered calamari which was decent. My entree was scallops w fettuccine. The six scallops were small and quite salty. At the end of the meal, I inquired about a birthday candle thinking that if I ordered a dessert fir my friend, at least there might be a candle. I have never been charged for something celebratory related at a restaurant without prior arrangement. The slice of pie we ordered for her was a small sliver. It cost $9. The management had the audacity to add a special candle which was pretty cool. However, it was an additional $4 charge! I will not be returning to this restaurant again. It was very disappointing. This place is amazing!!! The bread and oil was amazing. We asked for more!!! My wife had the Caprese Salad was fresh and the balsamic vinegar was great quality! My son had the veal piccata and I had the chicken francese. Both were delicious and light. The pasta was fresh, homemade and it was not too heavy. Our waitress was very friendly. On our most recent visit they brought one member of our party's pizza 15 minutes AFTER everyone else's meal was already at the table. No explanation. No apology. BTW ... Post Covid, but they they were fully staffed. A little later while one member of our party was in the head, the server cleared a full plate of food without asking. Also snagged the bread basket. No explanation... just ... gone. When I went to pay the check they asked how it was. I said just ok, and explained what happened. They seemed aloof. Basically just didn't want to hear it ... didn't acknowledge the feedback at all. No explanation... no apology. For a place that charges as much as they do you'd expect a level of service slightly better than a greasy diner. But you won't find it here. read more

To begin with, we ordered an appetizer (calamari). They brought out the boom boom shrimp instead. Then they brought out calamari with boom boom sauce (also wrong) but we kept it. The calamari was chewy and overdone. We also waited 20 minutes for a martini. We understand restaurants are short staffed but 20 minutes is excessive. Then we ordered dinner. My husband was looking for something very specific. He wanted a blackened chicken dish. We were asking the server and she said we only have red sauce or Alfredo, we can't make a cream sauce. Makes no sense! Alfredo is made with heavy cream. She did not brother to check with the chefs. So we got salty chicken breast (not blackened) and Alfredo pasta. She didn't seem to want to accommodate us at all. I got the fruta de mar. The flavor is the sauce was good but the clams were full of sand! Not very appetizing at all. The salads that came out with the dinners were a little brown as well. (You can tell they are premade). We did get a guava mango flute to share which we enjoyed. Our experience would have been great if the food quality was a match to the environment of the restaurant. I am sure you will make a note of my experience and improve it for other guest's future visits. Lastly, it's rather irritating to hear your server tell another table the specials and she didn't bother to tell us. No consistency. I wouldn't have cared if they were printed on a menu or something but to find out there were specials after I already ordered was disappointing. read more

We started with the Calamari Fritti $12.95 then split the Pappardelle Bolognese $21. Delicious and portions were large, glad we split. For dessert the Tiramisu $7. Also had some homemade Italian Bread . Nice covered patio in the front to enjoy during good weather. They have free parking in a good size lot in back. Had an issue with a Door dash order business/app (that provided pick up & delivery for a fee ) with the delivery so had to cancel the order. !! - so I decided I'd give the restaurant a call . Not only were they able to delivery the meal for less, but the meal came beautifully made and HOT !! We ordered so more , but we ate it too quickly for pictures! So relieved that the young man who took the phone call was more then helpful and went above and beyond to deliver! Will be ordering DIRECTLY from the restaurant from now on!!!
