My husband and I decided to try this Italian restaurant on a Sunday before going to a show. The restaurant is nice and modern, walls covered with pictures of actors and/or stars. We were greeted right when we walked in. Our server was very nice and personable. If I had to rate on cleanliness and service, I would give them 4.5 stars. But the food was where they lost stars, due to the lack of quantity and quality of our main dishes. We had two waters to drink, shared appetizer of rice balls, (comes with 3), they give complimentary bread and an amazing dipping sauce ( which is a secret recipe, per our waitress). The bread and sauce was the best part of the meal. My husband ordered the fettuccine Alfredo , ( look at the picture, hardly any fettuccine, but tons of sauce, looks more like soup) I ordered the chicken parm dinner. It came with one very small chicken cutlet. Both dishes came with a side salad. Our order came to $65 plus, which is not worth it for how much you receive in your main dish. And no drinks, just water. A little pricey for what we ordered to what we received.

Definitely a cute Italian place. I'm glad I was in the area and decided to try it out for lunch. I got the Italian wedding soup, and then I did the lunch grilled chicken pesto Panini with a side salad, and I liked that the pesto was red based which was unique and delicious. The menu had a great variety for all preferences. Haley, the waitress, was also fantastic. I would definitely go back.

The pizza was very good! We need to do lunch there one day. I can't wait because if the pizza was great then everything else should be terrific. My husband met the owner and they had a lengthy conversation. They actually had a few things in common. Cool guy! When we go for lunch I'll be packing with pictures of food!

Solid local italian spot. Nothing particularly special about the food but atmosphere and service were great. I would go back.

Exceptional Italian food with a unique casual atmosphere The menu is diverse but the Italian food is outstanding beyond your imagination Limited drinks but the wine and in house beer is enough Prices more than reasonable for quality of food Service is impeccable

Two years ago I gave this place a five star review. Food was good, service was friendly, and the menu was kid friendly. This evening my husband and I took four kiddos and were shocked to see that the kids menu options increased -- $15 for a grilled cheese, $17 for kids spaghetti, and they no longer offered a kid-sized pizza or kids ravioli. These seem like New York City prices in little ol' Trexlertown, Pennsylvania. The restaurant was fully staffed... Hostess, plenty of servers, bussers, and the owner was walking around. Lots of staff for a pretty small restaurant. So we were surprised when it took a while for our food to come out and the littlest kiddos pizza came out 15 minutes after everyone had received their meals. When our kids got up to go to the bathroom, the waitress came and cleared their food before we had a chance to even say anything. We then started to feel rushed to leave and by this point were ready to just leave anyway. My salad was fresh and good. My Panini was very greasy and tasted less fresh. The kids enjoyed their expensive spaghetti. I don't Mind expensive dinners when the food is good, the service is good, and there are reasonable options for the kids. But tonight I left feeling like we just spent over $150 on noodles and sauce, and I was quite disappointed in a place that I used to think was a hidden gem.

    Ice cold house made lager

I drove by this place by chance, the wings were great! Get the house sauce for a pinch of sweet in the hot sauce. House made beers served in a frosted mug. 8.99 for a dozen wings these days are a steal! My waitress was in tune to my needs, I'm in town for work, she didn't rush, was prompt with refills. It's a quiet place with a nice indoor and outdoor seating area. You can tell that locals really like this place. I walked in hoping to sit at a bar, but was surprisingly more than satisfied at a table. They have a large tv for those looking to have some entertainment

Loved the ambience. Very clean. Would try again, buuuuuut.... Maybe a one off, but the shrimp scampi was definitely lacking in freshness. Seemed scampi gravy could have easily been frozen and microwaved. Made from scratch noodles didn't impress. When advising server we would share entree and salad, would have been a nice touch to separate into two plates as it's been done at other establishments rather than me shloshing noodles and sauce onto another plate. It was thankfully recommended by a local, so had to try. May never be in that area again, but would give it another shot with a different entree if I was. Want to believe it was simply a bad dish...on a bad evening. There seems to be limited options in that area.

This is what you find at checkout!

HIDDEN FEES Well.....time share an update on one of our "Friday Night Favorite" Italian restaurant's. We stopped in a week ago on Friday to relax and decompress. Some things remained constant, but other changed for the worse. The fresh bread with seasoned oil was there, and great as usual. Service was prompt and cordial. All the menu prices have gone up significantly......We get it, COVID, Inflation, trying to survive. But the portions went down also. The food was tasty as usual. Had the only changes been an increase to menu item prices, we'd be back. But, as other reviewers have pointed out. The HIDDEN CREDIT CARD FEE, passed on to us. Honestly, this is the first time we have encountered this charge without advance disclosure. And at a restaurant no less AFTER your meal. Very sneaky and, quite frankly, dishonest. I hope the proprietor finds the hidden 3.8% charge worth their business. For us, the experience is not worth the extra, hidden charges passed on to us. Won't be back, the value is not there!

The scallops could have used a few more minutes in the oven, but overall, the appetizers were flavorful and skillfully prepared. For dinner, I ordered the fruits de mer, one of my favorite dishes, and Henry's absolutely knocked it out of the park. The dish features a generous mix of lobster, shrimp, scallops, and crabmeat, all served in a creamy garlic sauce over linguine. My friends had the broiled cold water lobster twin tails and chicken Alfredo. The lobster was sweet, melt-in-your-mouth tender, and served with brown butter. The Alfredo was rich and creamy, with juicy, well cooked chicken. Our server, Jaime, made the evening even better. She was attentive from start to finish. My friends and I had a reservation last Thursday at 6:15. We were warmly welcomed by the hostess upon arrival and promptly seated at our table. For appetizers, we shared the coconut shrimp, fried calamari, bacon wrapped scallops, and a crab cake. While everything was enjoyable, the standout was definitely the scallops. The bacon was perfectly crisp, the scallops tender and well-cooked, and the accompanying raspberry chipotle compote added a sweet and smoky touch. For my main course, I had the half pound lobster roll, tossed in rich brown butter and served on a perfectly toasted brioche bun. It was absolutely outstanding! I'd come back to Yoell's just for this. My buddy went with the surf & turf, which includes an 8 oz filet mignon, a 4 oz lobster tail, and jumbo lump crabmeat. Definitely a great choice, he was more than satisfied! The service wasn't terrible, but it was surely disappointing. Our server lacked friendliness and any sense of personality.

We walked in and even though it was busy we were taken to our reserved table immediately. The place is big with nice decor and ambiance, and the tables are spaced out enough that it keeps the area around you quiet enough to be able to hold a conversation comfortably with the people at your table. Our server was with us quickly and took our drink orders. All of the cocktails were delicious and several of us got a second round! We got the bao buns, chicken skewers, and birria poutine to start and they were all extremely delicious. The poutine tasted more like molé though so I personally wouldn't call it birria, and the cheese was a molten cheddar-like kind and not cheese curds. It was delicious though so no one complained! I got the curry and subbed tofu for shrimp. It was a little bland and I honestly wish there would've been a bit more of the curry itself (there was so much rice) and some more salt/seasoning, but it was fine. I'd give it a 7.5/10. My coworkers all enjoyed their own dishes (especially the rigatoni) and they kept raving about them throughout the whole meal. Our server was attentive and kept the table clean and our water bottles topped up. I definitely recommend checking it out! We're keeping it i. our list for next time we're in town :)

We thought it would be good, but we didn't expect that it would be outstanding. Their dinner menu was fairly small but had an amazing variety of dishes to suit many tastes. It was difficult to choose, but we settled on the veal and the pork rib rack chop. I knew it would be an outstanding meal when the salads that came with all entrees arrived. I usually grudgingly take a couple bites of a provided (typically uninspired) house salad, but this one was comprised of perfectly dressed greens that were the most tender, delicious, and freshest I've ever had in a restaurant, topped with crispy taro strips and a ring of tiny mung beans. If that level of care goes into a humble salad, I figured the mains would be awesome. They were. Both entrees had beautifully cooked proteins accompanied by generous portions of also beautifully cooked vegetables. The pork rib chop was especially impressive, tender and juicy and nicely paired with the apple mostarda, a sophisticated riff on a traditional pork chop with apple sauce. In addition to the vegetable sides noted on the menu descriptions, we each got haricot verts on the side. I typically eat green beans only because they're good for you, but these were so delicious that they were the only item I didn't take for leftovers. The dessert list was impressively long, and we went for their crème brûlée and a Bavarian with chantilly cream and cherries. The crème brûlée was delicate and smooth, with many specks of fresh vanilla bean and topped with incredibly fresh berries. The Bavarian was excellent as well, mousse-like in texture. Our service had the professionalism you would expect in a high end place. I thought it was an especially thoughtful touch that my box of leftovers was delivered at the end of the meal with the check, so it wasn't sitting on the table with us during dessert. The Savory Grille knows small touches make a difference. Of note, we were in the main dining room, which was a little snug, and the volume with a full house was a bit loud (from talking, not music). The other space looks a bit more spacious. No matter, we had an awesome dinner here that left us with fond memories, and I highly recommend the Savory Grille for a special occasion.
