I've been to this place. Great environment. The owner is such a nice man. The liquor and beer is so affordable. Will be visiting again.

Another visit to The Ridge House and another 5 star meal…read more Even before arriving, the host staff was beyond helpful with the phone reservation during the very busy weekend. We were accommodated in their high-top table section and that was perfect. I really enjoy the charm, decor, and ambiance of The Ridge House. The colors throughout create a sophisticated and inviting atmosphere. Our Server, Skylar, did an exceptional job with her service. I also appreciated management coming to our table, and every table, asking if customers were enjoying their meal. I started with what I ordered during my first visit, TRH (The Ridge House) Margarita, and it was VERY GOOD. The hint of cucumber made this drink enjoyable and refreshing, as well. The other drink was The Flower Child Mocktail (mint and blueberry tea, lemon juice, spicy hibiscus syrup). This drink was served in a tall glass and every ingredient blended nicely. The entrees were: Chicken Parmesan (breaded chicken breast, roasted garlic tomato sauce, mozzarella, burrata, parmesan, basil). This was one of the best Chicken Parms I've ever tasted. The chicken was tender and the sauce and cheese covered the entire entree. Highly recommended. The other entree was something that I've never tried...Elote Pizza (Monterrey jack cheese, corn, poblano peppers, roasted red peppers, chicken, totija cheese, lime creme, cilantro & adobo vinaigrette). This was a very unique pizza which was crunchy, creamy, the corn flavor elevated the enjoyment, and it's also HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. If the entrees weren't enough, TRH outdid themselves with dessert. We ordered the Cookie Skillet (chocolate chip cookie with vanilla ice cream). It was presented in a large cast iron skillet and it had enough ice cream to fill every spoonful of deliciousness.

The menu has good selection of steak, chicken, fish, sandwiches and kids meal. The salmon is flavorful and cooked perfectly. Moist on the meat and crispy at the skin. Asparagus was good. Farrotto gave a more firm texture, not my favorite but it's ok. Bulgogi taco is not bad. Good portion. I don't taste much bulgogi or Korean flavor but it's a good taco. Kids meal burger is not bad. The buns are really soft. Fries are good. Broccoli are charred, not really a kid thing tho. Overall a great spot for family or big gathering. Solid food. Great service.

One section is garden inspired and the other section has more of a club feel. Our waiter was friendly and provided great recommendations. (Plus some spicy peppers for us to try, bit much for my palate) We ordered a lot of food. One of my friends really enjoyed the beef soup, the cucumber salad was pretty much sliced cucumbers, the yogurt dip was fresh and tasty, and the Bulgarian salad was a hit with great pieces of feta. The Deja Vu grilled platter for two was outstanding! So much delicious variety of meats! We added a skirt steak that my friend wanted, plus the pork and beef patties in Marsala sauce, and the white bean casserole. The bean and Marsala dishes were excellent! It was a struggle but we finished all of the meat! Definitely look forward to returning!

It's the perfect spot for a date or to lounge around and grab some drinks! Sometimes places with pretty aesthetics lack in food quality or taste, but not here!! Everything is incredibly fresh and comes out piping hot! For appetizers I got fried calamari and pastrmajlija (a traditional flatbread)! I really loved both dishes - the quality of the squid was excellent and the flatbread was so flavorful with the olives! For my main dishes, I got the sofra for 2 and shish kebabs - there was so much delicious and tender meat My sweet cocktails, the strawberry margarita and blue hugo, were both vibrant and strong which matched the floral and colorful vibes perfectly! Whether it's vibes, drinks or food, this place surpasses expectations!

When I told my mom where we were going her reaction- "omg that place is still around?!? It use to be excellent back in the day!" Well I am happy to report this place is just as good today as it was during my mother's heyday. I decided to get a few oysters and clams to start off with and everything was just so fresh. As an entree the Seafood in a spicy red sauce was easily one of the best I have had in a very long time. There was a generous amount of seafood within the dish, the sauce I swear I could just drink it out of a cup and the pasta was cooked perfectly. My husband got the bbq ribs which I didn't try but you could see how they just slid right off the bone and he couldn't stop talking about how good they were. We ended our meal with some strong espresso. I enjoyed how it is a very casual atmosphere with a nice bar area that had a few TVs to watch some sports games. No need to dress to impress. The service was a little bit on the slower side but the waitress was very nice. The man who brought out my oysters, I asked him which were the east coast and which where in the west coast oysters, along with asking him where in the west coast my oysters were from and he couldn't tell me. I just think a place should just know these things is they are selling them. Nonetheless we still really enjoyed ourselves and can't wait to return.

The Jersey Shore restaurants will always have an advantage when it comes to seafood because of location. North Jersey offers a diverse, high-quality seafood scene, ranging from upscale Mediterranean-style fish markets to casual, beloved neighborhood spots. Situated less than 2.5 miles from MetLife Stadium, Biggie's has been a neighborhood institution located off of Route 17 South in Carlstadt and is best known for its clams-on-the-half-shell and wide selection of beers on tap. My partner, our friends, and I have been to this family-owned establishment numerous times and decided to have dinner last night. The reservation was easily made via OpenTable. Upon entering this casual vibe, we were greeted by the host. There is a lively sports bar side full of TVs and a dining room side, where we got a booth immediately by the window. Their menu has a wide array of options, rivaled only by the countless photographs and mementos that fill nearly every inch of wall space. There are many sandwiches, a half-dozen salads, thin-crust pizzas, and a substantial range of pastas. For starters, we decided on two dozen East Coast oysters on a half shell and Steamed Mussels with white wine butter broth. A side of Italian bread was brought for dipping. As a main meal, we opted for the Turkey Chili, Baby Back Ribs, Fried Calamari, Caesar salad, and Fries. The food was excellent and delicious, using the freshest ingredients. The portions were healthy. The staff went out of their way to make one feel welcome, creating a friendly and comfortable atmosphere. Our server was Hadiyah. The price was reasonable. The Garden State's seafood scene is a testament to the state's rich maritime heritage, offering something for every palate, whether one's a regular or a first-timer. This is why people keep coming back week after week.
