PROS: This bar was hopping on a Saturday night. They served food, had a good drink selection, atmosphere was bright, music good with interactive DJ, and had tables for you to sit at CONS: Hardly any street parking, in a sketchy area which makes the bouncers pat you down, and its small inside so you're shoulder to shoulder with everyone OVERALL: The bar gets a good rating despite some flaws they cannot control. I would recommend coming here if you're in the area

Jojo never misses. It's the kind of spot that just gets it right every time. I can walk in alone or with company and still get treated like I'm the main event. Letty deserves all the flowers her energy's unmatched, her service is top-tier, and her drinks? Always on point. It's the kind of experience that keeps you coming back without thinking twice.

Shrimp tacos are a must. The lively atmosphere always makes us enjoy coming here. The staff is very friendly and makes this place welcoming. I also love the sweet potato fries.

I met one of my sorority sisters here for a drink and to catch up. I made reservations for 4pm but I was running a little late. The place opened at 4 so I called at 4 to let them know and no one answered. I called about 15 times so I could let them know I would be late but still no one answered. When I arrived I seen they were just opening and the man said they got there late. The bar and grill was cute and cozy inside. Our server was Joann and she was nice but not as attentive. I had to call her and the bartender over to our table a couple times. They have a small happy hour menu and my friend and I split the wings for her and fries for me. I had a margarita and it was sour so they added strawberry which was better. I then had the passion fruit margarita and that was tasty and they both were $6 each. The fries were ok just a little salty. My friend said the chicken was just ok but she enjoyed her wine and passion fruit margarita. The bill came to about $38 and they charge you a little extra if you use a credit card. No one told us that. All in all we had just an ok time.

Visited here on a Thursday during happy hour (~6pm) with my boyfriend. We got lucky and found parking right in front (not always the case). The music was good, the deals were great, the food even better, and the service was great. We got 2 orders of Thai chili wings & fries (the first one was so good we got a 2nd), an order of mozzarella sticks, and my boyfriend got the fish tacos. I've never had fish but I tried it and although I'm not a fan of fish it was good! My boyfriend enjoyed them. The vibe was chill but again, it was only 6pm-ish. They have a DJ on certain nights as well as themes (ladies night, comedy night, etc). We sat at the bar and service was great. We were happy to find a spot with good vibes and great food near our home. We will definitely be returning!

A friend a I were looking for a local spot with good vibes and boy did we find one at Jojos. We came on a Saturday night at almost 7 and while we struggled finding parking (only street parking around) we made it in time for their Happy Hour that is 4-7pm! We ordered margaritas and mozz sticks to start and then the Keisha cocktail and triple threat along with steak and shrimp tacos. Everything was delicious and flavorful. The ambiance was upbeat without being rowdy and the service was amazing for being such a casual and pumping vibe. Our server was incredibly attentive and friendly and made the overall experience that much better. In the end our bill with tip and taxes was around $100 which we felt was fair and very comparable for the area. Highly recommend and plan to return!

The drinks here were really good. I feel like it was a good balance between alcohol and mixer and wasn't too strong. The food was okay. My French fries were so salty I couldn't even eat them. It tasted like I was literally in the ocean. I also got cheeseburger sliders which were also okay. Not amazing but not terrible either. The place was definitely bumping, playing music, colorful lights, I can definitely see it getting busy and crowded on the weekends. The one thing I really didn't like about this restaurant was it was so HOT in there. We went on Thursday when it was one of the more hotter days, but within minutes of sitting down I was in a pile of sweat. Like physically dropping and sitting in a puddle on my chair. We ate extremely fast just to get out because everyone was visibly uncomfortably hot.

Such a nice place! It is a decently sized space, not huge, but there is a lot of room. They have a great happy hour which we tried multiple items from. The mozzarella sticks were so good! The music and lighting also gave such a good look. A must try whoever we go is LAVA CAKE!! And this one did not disappoint. Other items we tried were chicken wings, calamari, passion fruit margarita, coke and rum, and green tea shots. Something that really stood out was the presentation of the food. Since we record and take pictures of our food a lot, presentation plays a big role for us. This is a spot we will be coming back to for more!

Very chill vibe and they play good music. Small local bar. There are tvs if you want to see a game or ufc fight. The drinks are really good. We tried the burgers and they were delicious. Cool local spot.

I think me and the girls have found our go to Happy Hour Spot for the summer! This place has it all! Food, drinks, music, good customer service, you name it, this place checks off all the boxes! Came on a rainy Sunday and we were immediately drawn by the atmosphere and the vibe! All the tables had a clear partition in between which was beautifully decorated so really added to the vibe this bar was trying to create. Each of the tables also had hand sanitizer that is an added bonus. Not sure why we ordered so much food since it was just the three of us but we did! We started with an order of Garlic Parmesan Wings and an order of regular Buffalo wings for the table to share along with fries. Let me tell you how those Fries were the crispiest most flavorful fries that came with an insanely addictive chipotle sauce. So good! The wings were also packed with flavor and also had a good crisp to each bite! For our actual meals, we all decided to do tacos. We got Steak, Shrimp and Fish and since it was three to each order, we decided to split the orders so we each got one of the tacos. Might of been the rain that had us hungry because we could of tapped out after the wings, but the tacos were delicious! My favorite by far was the shrimp as it came coated in some type of red sauce that really did add to the overall flavor. The steak was also tasty and not sure how the fish was since I was too stuffed to even take a bite but one of the girls did mention it was a little on the sweet side. And let me not forget about the drinks to wash all this down! We ended up getting the Jojo13, Strawberry Mojito and Mango Mojito. The drinks were bomb and loved the presentation!! And the music!! The music had me taking out my phone to Shazam certain songs to add to my summer playlist! Absolutely loved everything about this place and cannot wait to go back to enjoy their Happy Hour Specials!!

Good drinks. Great flavored tacos. Small menu but solid food. Service was great. One downfall is that the music is so loud, you feel like you are yelling at each other when you want to talk. Might be fun for a large group!!

My friend and I went at a normal time, and the place wasn't even busy. We originally ordered tacos and chaufa, but they brought us the wrong food. We told the server, and she said she'd go find the woman who took our order, but she never came back. After waiting about 20 minutes, we told another employee, and she also disappeared. Eventually someone finally came back and apologized, saying they were busy -- which would've been understandable, except the restaurant really wasn't crowded at all. At that point, we were tired of waiting and just ate the food they gave us. But paying $18 for 3 basic tacos is honestly ridiculous. Their solution was basically, "We can make the correct order, but it'll take even longer." Then they automatically added an 18% gratuity for just two people, even though the service was far from good. Overall, the food was very basic, the service was frustrating, and the whole experience just wasn't worth it. I wouldn't recommend this place.

A quick heads-up: on Google Maps it's listed as Ceviche 517, but the sign on the building says Tavern 517, which initially threw us off. We were circling around until we decided to just trust the physical address--and we're so glad we did. As soon as we walked in, the name didn't even matter anymore. The decor is stunning--definitely has an upscale, Instagram-worthy vibe with a modern lounge feel. We might've come a little early because the place was quiet when we arrived, but that worked in our favor as we got to settle in comfortably and explore the menu. Drinks were a mixed experience. We tried the margarita flight, which included coconut, passion fruit, and strawberry. The coconut and passion fruit margaritas were absolutely delicious--fresh, balanced, and memorable. The strawberry, however, was a big miss--tasted like kid's medicine and no one at the table could finish it. We also ordered a drink called something like Chicola--it had ginger ale, lime juice, and some type of liquor, and unfortunately, it was another one we couldn't get through. The flavors just didn't mix well, and everyone at the table agreed it was a no for us. On the flip side, the Perfect Mule with a strawberry twist, the Henny Mojito, and a bold and fun drink called No Sheets were much better received. Menus are displayed on sleek tablets, and we were pleasantly surprised to see that the in-house menu offered way more options than what's listed online. And the food? Absolutely excellent. The Tallarín Saltado with vegetables was beyond delicious--we placed it in the center so everyone could dig in. The ceviche flight was fresh and flavorful, and the jalea (a fried seafood platter) didn't last long on the table either. One friend had the larger ceviche bowl paired with a mojito and already asked to come back just for that combo. Even the kid's arroz chaufa with chicken impressed us, with a big enough portion for leftovers. If there's one thing that fell flat, it was the atmosphere--at least early in the evening. When we arrived, the music playing sounded like retro video game tunes, but thankfully it transitioned into upbeat Spanish hits, including some great bachata that gave the space some energy. All in all, despite a few drink misses and a quiet start, this spot is a gem. The food alone is worth the trip, and we're definitely planning to return--next time a little later in the evening to hopefully catch a livelier vibe!

With over 180 wing flavors to choose from, the only problem you will have is deciding because you will want to explore this seemingly never ending list. These are a couple of the wings I explored: Peanut Butter & Jelly Wings: These wings were smothered in creamy peanut butter with a heaping mound of jelly. At first I was reluctant to explore this unusual combination, but as soon as I gave it a try, it was love at first bite. Feel free to smear or dip; the choice is yours. S'mores Wings: This is another unique, but unbelievably savory combination. These dessert style wings were smothered in marshmallow cream, drizzled with chocolate syrup, and sprinkled with crushed pieces of graham crackers. It was a sight for sore eyes. If you need additional chocolate sauce don't be afraid to ask for "s'more." And make sure you request "s'more" napkins because you will certainly need them! In addition to the wings, I also explored one of the main courses. Blue 42 Burger: Named after the restaurant, this burger is topped with mozzarella sticks, blue cheese crumble and bacon. The Blue 42 char on top of the bun has a nice decorative touch. If you are a fan of the Green Bay Packers, you have come to the right spot. The interior is decorated with Packers memorabilia, which even includes wall art on the ceiling. All fans are still welcome even if you aren't an aficionado of the Packers.
