I discovered this restaurant by accident when I happened to be in the area. I love the overall look of the place, it gives an authentic mexican vibe. Every order comes with a little mexican flag. There's valet parking and street parking. In this pandemic they offer outside dining but you can eat inside. I ate inside and upon arrival they spray your hand with hand sanitizer and check your temperature. I appreciated the overall precaution and safety measure. All the employees are continuously in mask as well. You get complimentary salsa and chips. The salsa was a puree kind of consistency which I actually enjoyed. They were having a $5 margarita special. I had a strawberry margarita with a tiny bottle of silver tequila flipped inside of it. I thought it tasted good. I had the spicy chorizo tacos. They give you 4 flour tortillas with cilantro and onions (you have the choice of removing them). The plate is garnished with slices of cucumber and radish with a side of a green spicy sauce that packed some heat. The tacos were good and I loved how seasoned the chorizo was. For dessert I ordered the canasta de churro. Its 6 churros with vanilla ice cream in the middle. The churros were a different experience for me because I never had a churro that had some sort of filling inside before. Nonetheless it was actually pretty tasty. The staff was nice and prompt. This place is so colorful and cute what struck me the most was the decoration. The restaurant has been open about two months or so and the service was great, really attentive. We arrived about 11ish on a Friday night and the food is more authentic Mexican. The cheese on the flautas were really good, and no one can't go wrong with free homemade chips and spicy green salsa! Karaoke on Friday and Saturday nights, the food is so good but the cocktails aren't cheap about $10 and up. I think it's co-owned between Colombians and Mexicans because I really like the fact that they mixed the music playlist between Latin music like : baladas, reggaeton, vallenato, merengue and bachata, and Colombian pop. I came here for a happy hour special with friends. The specials they provide are great $5 dollar margaritas and mojitos and $1 tequila shots. The bartender was very busy and it took us thirty minutes for her to even notice us. The drinks were very sugary as well. The food choices were great and the menu had a lot of variety, which I liked. I ordered Al pastor chalupas and they were so spicy I could not even eat them. I know that al pastor meat is not spicy at all and the menu did not indicate that it would be spicy either. Definitely enjoyed the food and ambiance here. The waitress was very nice and made recommendations from the menu. I got the fajita de Rez and it was delicious. Food was affordable and authentic (there was no sour cream or cheese for my fajitas). Didn't try a drink but next time I will. I called immediately and the hostess started rambling on that are order was on the way so after 4x of saying that's not what I'm calling about she finally stopped talking, I told her we were missing 2 meals to which she replied that we couldn't have been because she bagged the order herself, I told her that's great but she did it wrong, after asking to speak to a manager or owner she replied neither were in the building and she'd have to call the owner to check the cameras to see if they were put in the bag (that she supposedly packed correctly) after 30 minutes I finally got a response that they are sorry for the wrong order and would be sending the burritos. read more

I'm not sure why, but I had a very terrible experience here because of the discriminatory practices of the waiter. We ordered a vegetarian bowl, and did not know there would be mushrooms in it. My friends and I are allergic (though I am more severely allergic than they are.) The waiter fulfilled a request to change my friends' orders, but when I asked to do that, my request was refused. I don't think it's the waiter's fault, because they said they would go back and ask the manager, and came back saying the manager said no. I have a big problem with this establishment. I went there around lunch time to have a t bone steak, rice & beans and a few drinks. On this particular day someone in this establishment spike my drink with a opium. I left their establishment around 5:40pm and drove three minutes into woodland Park. I park my vehicle in a funeral home and past out. Luckily someone was watching for three hours and then decided to call the cops. The officer on duty found me unconscious in my car. The officer use narcan nasal spray to reverse the drug and CPR me back to life. I was later brought to St. Joseph hospital and was told I had overdose of opium and alcohol. My car was search for drugs which I don't do. read more

The "beans " are a puddle of juice which are supposedly authentic. The jalepeno appetizer is served with the cheese still partially frozen inside the pepper. The food here is terrible. So I ordered the beef tacos and to my pleasant surprise... a Hennessy Coolada! Hennessy anything can easily get me out of the house. The tacos were a solid 7.5/10, it could use a spicy cream sauce. The ambiance was beautiful, very clean & colorful. Reminded me a lot of Oralé in Jersey City. Drinks are really good and cheap. There's a small parking lot off to the side and plenty of street parking. All in all, I'm pleased by my experience here. Definitely plan to go back. read more
