Not only did they fix the broken chain, but replaced it with a higher quality chain. They also checked out the entire trike to make sure all the connections and nuts and bolts were proper, reinforcing suspious fittings with Locktite. They are a wonderful company and if I live long enough to need another trike, I'll get it from Open Road. 5 stars well earned.

Jax Value Ebikes is hard to find, close to the intersection of Mayport Road and Atlantic Boulevard. You actually will have to make a u-turn if you are coming from Atlantic, so don't be surprised if you drive past it once when you are looking for it. The location is more industrial than retail, so you know you aren't paying for a fancy mall or strip center location. The selection includes Motiv, Velec and Prodeco Tech. I was not familiar with Ebikes, so they took plenty of time to advise me and answer my questions. Then we went on several test rides to see if their recommendations met my expectations. While I did not buy on this visit, I left much more informed on electronic pedal assist bikes.

Terrible Communication and Predatory Pricing…read more Early August of 2025 I had a deeply disappointing experience with the service department at BMW Motorcycles of Jacksonville. I visited seeking advice for seven (7) technical/electrical errors on my 1250GSA. The service agent was incredibly dismissive, refusing to even look at me or listen to the errors shown on the pictures I made from my display while I was explaining them. Without even a cursory look at the pictures and the notes I made, he quoted me between $2,500 and $3,500 for diagnostics, claimed it would take three days on the computer to analyze, and told me the earliest appointment was 6 weeks away. Fortunately, I sought a second opinion at RiderMarket Daytona in Ormond Beach. Their service was world-class: CUSTOMER SERVICE: With one word; OUTSTANDING!! They listened to what I had to say. LOGISTICS: They picked up my bike from my home in Jacksonville and transported it to their shop for free. EFFICIENCY: The entire problem was diagnosed and resolved within three days. FAIRNESS: The total cost was $34 all-in and a staggering difference from Jacksonville's $3,500+ estimate. The beginning of January 2026 I reached out to the Jacksonville dealership via letter to discuss this massive price discrepancy and complained about the arrogance of their service and repair staff, but I have received zero response. It seems they are as uninterested in customer feedback as they are in fair pricing. The service was so unfriendly that I would now much rather drive an hour to Ormond Beach than deal with a team that makes me feel like I should apologize for being a paying customer. It is a shame, as the time I bought my motorcycle there in CASH was actually a good experience, but they have completely lost my trust and future business.

Bella helped us all- effortlessly. When I described the issue with the fitting of a jacket we purchased from Revzilla for my wife, Bella assured us that motorcycle gear sizes were absurd, especially for accommodating women. Rob got himself a helmet, a jacket, and gloves from their awesome selection. I got a pair of alpinestar gloves- can't go wrong with that brand. Bella helped my wife find the perfect cold weather jacket, and a pair of amazing gloves. Her advice, guidance, and assistance were wonderful.
