He was so patient teaching me how to use the features of a newer vehicle for someone who's last car was about 17 years old- he was all smiles showing me things I was confused on a second time the next day. Part of my disability is my memory and communicating. It never fazed him. I also have an autoimmune disorder that causes many sores on my hands. He shook my hand numerous times without a smile. The service department is trash, they don't follow GM procedures and then when asked why they said they have been doing it for 15 years this way....so not following procedure by GM is what you do that's great. Then to give a receipt stating the exact same thing that you were told in the bulletin of what to do. DO NOT TAKE your vehicle there unless you'd like to leave with problems. That dealership would be 1000% better without the service department, because they are horrible have bad customer service. Pretty much are just plain rude and don't care because they have no accountability. Welp y'all keep it up your customer base will decline and you wont have a business. After posting my original review I read a few others and realize them not tightening lug nuts must be a common thing for them. They did that with a previous vehicle I owned. I have had a few experiences over the years and have found them to be great with the original deal but poor in regards to service. I feel that I was grossly overcharged for a failure to start on a new vehicle purchased there years ago. I also have knowledge of a recent event regarding my son's experience with their service department. He had a tire rotation done and the next day had a serious shake in the vehicle, which turned out to be two wheels that were left loose, one of which when he stopped had NO lug nuts...literally moments from disaster. When he and his wife returned to service, they encountered the man that leased them the vehicle and recounted the experience...police presence and the dangers faced on the side of the highway. hHis response "well...S__t happens". I paid $160! They stated that it included refilling my DEF and performing a multi-point inspection. I told them that I didn't ask for my DEF to be filled, especially since I just filled it. They stated that the container should then be left in my vehicle with the remaining contents - not in the truck. Additionally, I checked my power steering fluid, and it is well below the "add" mark. This is the only GMC dealer around, so I will be doing my own services for the remainder of my time here. I don't trust this dealer and do no recommend it. First and foremost I would like to say the personnel that work the counter are extremely courteous and patient. However! Hands down, the worst experience I've ever had. Ordered about $5k in accessories for my new truck. They had my truck for over a week, no calls no updates. Finally, I called to see what was going on and I found out that my bed cover was damaged. They were waiting for a new one but it will take longer to get in. Additionally, while they had my truck installing other accessories they managed to scratch the tailgate of my new $90k truck and did not put my truck back together correctly. All she does when you call is argue about what they don't cover or how anything wasn't their fault. I have personally overhead her talking about customers, the condition of their vehicle, etc. When honestly the condition of her is probably their biggest problem. I purchased my 2015 GMC Sierra from Davidson 2 years ago. After about 45 days it started to make some occasional ticking noises from the engine. I promptly brought it back, as it was warrantied for 60 days by the dealership, then the extended warranty company kicked in. They tell me it's fine and to just drive it. And the check engine light that came on as I was getting off the highway on the way there showed nothing. Now about 3 weeks later it starts knocking like it's going to throw a rod. Now they're off the hook and I use the "warranty company" they sold to me. Hence the "It's fine just drive it". I really wasn't expecting to have to research the company that this big, authorized GM dealership sells me a warranty through. My bad. I brought it to the local GMC dealership, they had it for a whole month because the warranty company, which isn't even a warranty company out of Texas, gave them the biggest run around, not returning calls, saying it wasn't covered etc etc etc. They even suggested putting a used motor in it if it was less expensive. It had 55,000 miles on it. It was an oil sensor circuit board that monitored the oil pressure when it kicks down to 4 cylinders for fuel milage. The ENTIRE top of the motor had to be removed to perform this job! Here they wanted to suggest a used motor! I don't like the idea of the whole top of the motor being removed! It wasn't until I reached out to the main corporate service complaint number at GM in Detroit that I got results. I still had to pay $200+ because everything wasn't covered. The weasel salesman Roger tells me this warranty is $4,000 and good up to 100,000 miles and covers EVERYTHING, Platinum package! Well, this is all great as my wife and I go to pick it up. Trusting what we discussed and confirmed was what we were signing. Well...it was actually $4,200, and as I learned last month the warranty ended at 89,000 miles, when I had to have the AC repaired. Weasel salesman get the reputation because they earn it! read more

Do not use this dealership their service department and their customer service is terrible! Even the manage Jerry Heath refuses to address the issues I experienced with the service department. After purchasing a new GMC Denali, I ordered a bed cover. They couldn't even install it properly, the most basic of installs. When I questioned why, they tried telling me I didn't know how it should be installed. They sent me install instructions and a parts list, the funny part is the service manger didn't even read the instructions properly. The missing parts were listed on the instructions. I also sent them a YouTube video showing the proper install procedures. They said the guy in the video came up with the bumpers for the cover on his own. After a couple emails from the service manager they stopped communicating with me. I've emailed the overall manager four times and asked the customer care person to place a copy of the email on his desk - still no reply. Was told can't get car looked at until June 22, 2021 because they sent their tech to school. It's May 10. 2021. Over 1 month and 1 week away. Won't give loaner car. Was told to call another dealership. Great respond customer service. Called GM Corp at 1130am. No response back. At 2pm called GM Corp. Was told they left voicemail for Davidsons service manager C. Simone, which the call still hasn't been returned. It's 324pm been on phone with GM customer service for 1 hour 22 min to speak with supervisor, "can't find one" they say. Still holding. Spent $1000 on brakes at Davidson during covid... then they say "call another dealership " for this issue... THIS DEALERSHIP DOESN'T EVEN DESERVE A STAR. I swear, everytime I go in the service department something goes wrong. I turn in my vehicle to get the rust protection plan that I pay for since winter is coming up and so is salt. I go in and turns out they don't have any rentals at the dealership so they had to call hertz down the street to pick me up and and take me to their location to finish paperwork. For 1, the vehicle they provided me was me smelled HORRID. The only way I can describe it is it smells like dirty mildew cloth used to wipe it down on the interior and the smell has been sitting in there for DAYS. So I figure it's only for 1 day I don't have to deal with it no problem. I go inside the building with the woman and she proceeds to tell me all the charges are going to7 Davison since they don't have any rentals for me, but then asked for my debit card to keep on file. It raised a red flag but didn't think anything of it. I proceeded to then sign on the little screen and the receipt for the charges (that are going to davison) aoom prints out and i leave the building driving away in the mildew vehicle ( 2106 chevy sonic) the next day ,today, I see a charge of 12 dollars on my bank account, granted the amount may not be significant to me but it's not the point I am getting to. Is this how hertz makes their money through dealership customers as myself. I'm also pretty sure I'm not the only one this has happened to. If a customer is going to get charged at least warn them! I didn't want to rent your nasty mildew vehicle to begin with and now you're going to charge me for using it?! Now for some customers $12 may be a little or not, but that doesn't mean that you could be charging them. I am done with this dealership and glad I won't be here longer to warn people around the area, especially military folks, about how low standard this dealership is. We originially went to Chevy and dealt with Ethan. Rather my wife did by herself. First she was told the vehicle she wanted to see was there. It wasn't. And they didn't know it wasn't after telling her it was. They also said it was en route. Again, not true. My wife was then shown another version of the same vehicle and it was disgusting. It hadn't been cleaned at all. How can you show something to a buyer when it's not view ready?? My wife was obviously frustrated. When she expressed it, Ethan felt the need to tell her "It's not my fault." She said she felt like she was wasting her time with the process and his response was "Well you got here early so you arent really wasting your time." Really, Ethan? This is the customer service you provide a potential buyer? You were rude and condescending and wouldn't know good customer service if your life depended on it. You need a crash course and Davidson management needs to rethink him being on the frontline as he nearly cost the company a sale. We ended up going with the Ford store and dealing with Josh Freeman who blew Ethan out of the water. I know Davidson wins either way because they got the sale but the sale went to Ford, not Chevy. Maybe you folks should look in to this and get him some extra training in the customer satisfaction department. read more

This place sucks... They refuse to stand behind their products, I purchased a used Cadillac from them less than a year ago and now the car is falling apart. Of course I was convinced into buying the extended warranty under the predication that it was a bumper to bumper warranty. Less than a year after purchase of a 2012 Cadillac CTS with 57k miles on it and the exhaust is so loud it sounds like a pissed off bumble bee, the front end shakes violently, the passenger door lock stopped working and the driver seat padding is all bunched up under the leather.. Davidsons answer to these issues,,, " None of these items are covered under your (bumper to bumper) warranty and we are going to charge you $95 per item just to diagnose the problem per item.. If you like you can trade the car in.." My answer,,, " Are you kidding me, you want me to buy another vehicle from you but you wont stand behind the one I just bought last July.. F' you.." I will never buy another vehicle from any Davidson dealership. This is the 3rd time they have done this to me over warranty work. read more

I had an appt at 8am on Tuesday, Dec 15. Dropped my Suburban off at 7:45. Watched an associate remote start my vehicle & check mileage & gauges. We received a text'd at 9am asking if we wanted an alignment, filters & blah blah changed. We said no & reminded them none of these things are why we brought the vehicle in. (Our ABS/Traction control were flashing & cutting in & out.) We asked about the issues at hand. They said they were getting to that. WE text'd 2 times throughout the day asking for updates. Like..were there ANY? At 3:30PM we get a text saying our vehicle was next for diagnostics! Ps..they close at 5PM!! ARE YOU SERIOUS! We made ourselves VERY clear that we HAD to have our vehicle back, our kids have a medical appt the next morning. We asked if we could get a loaner car. (They said only if more than 1 day of service was needed & they'd have to request it. But they need to see what the diagnosis was first.) I personally called at 4:30 asking for the status. (Cause they're closing in 30 min & I need to know what to do for the next day. Or getting my car.) Our associate told me, they were still waiting for a diagnosis. At 5:30PM, my husband gets a call that "there's a broken wire somewhere"...WHAT!? "There are no lights coming up on the dash"..you knew that at 8am! ARE YOU SERIOUS!!! "We'll talk tomorrow." CLICK! FOR REAL! Thanks for NOTHING!!! Now my husband is going to miss a day of work to take us to our daughters appt. BEST BELIEVE WERE PAYING THEM A VISIT TOMORROW MORNING! & not paying a DIME! After having a good experience getting my car serviced for a recall I took my car in after it broke down in July. It turned out that I would need the engine replaced. The cost was close to the KBB value so I declined to have the work completed and opted to have my car towed back to my home. Roughly a month later I decided to sell my car and needed to check what the miles had been on the engine before it had failed at the request of the buyer. When I went to pop the hood for the first time since getting my car home the engine was completely tore apart missing the cover and wires everywhere. I tried reaching out to the shop multiple times and left messages. I was told I would be contacted but never was. I think it was very unprofessional to return a persons vehicle in that way regardless of it running or not. I wouldn't recommend using the maintenance shop for that reason coupled with being blown off by the rep I spoke with. read more

Despite their declaring my vehicle to soon be "dead on arrival" and getting a giant estimate for repairs, it's still running fine a year later. I don't trust them to be competent or honest. I wish I didn't feel that way, but I just want other customers to know who they're dealing with. Absolutely terrible. The manager Karl calls me up and says come on on in we are selling all our cars for invoice. I go in to look at a GMC Canyon, meet Karl the sales manager and he immediately hands me off to A.J. We look at a Canyon which is a nice vehicle, I take it for a test drive then notices that the design of the seat is causing my legs to lose circulation. I get back to the dealership and tell him about this issue. I then ask the price of the Canyon and he gives me the MSRP price from the sticker. Well in my experience that isn't the invoice price so right at that moment I get that's trickster feeling from the dealership. I then tell him I also have the F150 in mind. He then offered a GMC Sierra or Chevy Silverado. I told him I had no interest in either of those vehicles. I then let him know we needed to go grab lunch and he said we would look at the Fords from Davidson ford right next door when we get back. We get back and he tells me that the fords not gonna happen. Didn't even offer to talk about numbers. Then he try's to sell me a Chevy Silverado which I had already told him I didn't want. I tell him again I don't want a Chevy. He then abruptly shakes my hand as if he is saying he has better things to do than deal with me. I won't be returning to this business and I hope you don't either. Find another dealership. read more

I was at the dealership for a state inspection of my wife's vehicle. I plan on buying a truck but not at this time. I've been looking at this specific truck in their website for a couple of weeks and so While waiting, I visited the sales floor, met Mary and Asked about the truck. It does have a factory discount at that time. They gave me this price even lower than their advertised price. With the Feds raising the interest rate, I thought this is the best time to buy. Not worried about my credit score and planned using my bank. But they beat the rate of my bank so here I am now driving a brand new truck. Overall, I'm very satisfied with my experience. No pressure during the process. I just told them what I need and they didn't push me into adding this or that. They were very accommodating too. I would definitely recommend this dealership. My husband and I stopped by Davidson Chevrolet on Tuesday evening (8-23-16) at 5:30. We wanted to learn more about the GMC Acadia and the Chevy Traverse. We walked around the lot and looked at a few vehicles for 27 minutes before getting back in our vehicle and driving away. I'm guessing the sales people at this dealership don't need to sell vehicles because no one approached us the entire time we were there to ask if we had any questions or wanted to test drive a vehicle. They weren't busy as we saw several sales people just standing around outside the building, smoking cigarettes and talking. We were in plain sight, getting in and out of vehicles right in front of them but it was like we weren't important enough for them to interrupt their social time. We have decided to buy an Acadia but we will go with a different dealership where the staff is motivated to help the customers. read more

No military discount! Davidson only offered 7k less for my 2011 Chevy 1/2 ton pickup that is an LTZ with only 12,500 miles on it. Rough trade base was 27k they offered 26k. Same truck at auction with over 50,000 miles goes for more than 27k, and trucks with my mileage were going for 33k, just want NADA.com said it was worth at trade. I even asked if they give military discount and they replied "No, but that would be nice if we did", so much for their commercials were they say they are military friendly. I won't every go back to Davidson's dealerships ever again. Buyer beware. read more

I was not pleased with the woman who checked me in when I dropped my car off. When I was explaining the symptoms to her, she was quick to make sure I knew things weren't covered under warranty and kept quoting out the per hour shop fee. I waited in the waiting room, and she finally came in and kinda told me what was wrong. Then she stated that they would "take care of the issue".... I knew that I had a warranty left on my vehicle and it was covered the last time I came in with the same issue. I dropped my car off overnight Monday for service to be completed on Tuesday. Never heard anything back on the status of my car until I called on THURSDAY to get an update. That was entertaining as well. Apparently the person who "helped" me when I checked in was out sick. I was asked "Did you ever get called with an estimate?" I replied "No." "Ok, please hold on for another advisor." Two seconds later, the same woman picked up and said "It's all set, come in to pick it up." When I arrived at the shop to pick up my car it took 25 minutes because they had a very nice woman by the name of Dennise working on the paperwork. Dennise has helped me during prior visits and I wished she had helped me this time. I explained my frustration to Dennise, so she offered me her business card and told me to ask for her next time I call. If it wasn't for Dennise, I would have been a very irate customer. it took 2 visits to finally fix the scratch on my vehicle that was put there during a service. I was never called to set it up until i physically went down and spoke with them, even though they said they would call me about it. The first time it went in they sprayed it and fixed the scratch but failed to blend the paint properly and left the over spray. I then had to go back the following week to have it wet sanded. Even when i received it back the 2nd time it still looks horrible. When they painted it, they never taped it and got the chip guard where it's not supposed to be. It no longer looks factory. Also when it was returned to me both times the vehicle was left a mess. Plastic still over the seats and paper on the floor and it was never sprayed down. The area that they repaired was the only clean spot on the vehicle. The fact that they returned it to me this way was ridiculous. Especially since I wasn't able to make it to the service department before they closed due to work so I had to pick it up through sales and they couldn't really do anything about it. This was my second vehicle I purchased through davidsons and it will be my last. read more
