Over the last decade, I've waited days at higher-volume stores for this battery replacement with the managers somehow befuddled and then paid up to 10 times as much for the same service. Not today! I was a wreck about needing it cut, but my finger was changing colors so it needed to happen. The staff in Bernie Robbins went above and beyond; it was the best case scenario in a terrible situation. My ring was my grandmother's from 1953 with an engraving from my grandfather and the jeweler was very careful to preserve the ring. When the cutting slightly effected the engraving he took it upon themselves to weld the ring together so that everything lined up while I waited a bit of time to get it resized. When I asked how much I owed they said no charge! I couldn't believe it, I will 100% be going back for my jewelry needs (I already brought my husband in to show a new band I like)!

He's like good is $4 grand an ounce.,True but it would take probably 500 pins to equal an ounce maybe even more I guess he thought I didn't know 4 grand is 24k pure gold That makes 14k about 3600/oz He's like well they polish it too I laughed and left I happened on a jewelry store on Rt 73 coming from there.I wasn't gonna go in because it was a beautiful classy store in a high end center I went in and I was greeted with respect instead of Mr miserable at Family Jewlers.I said hello I need this fixed The owner himself said wow this is a quality piece and he could even tell it was about 30 years old He took my info and said for the solid 14k gold pin to replace it,they polish the piece and check the entire thing to make sure all pins are good He said I have bad news,I said what's up He said he'd have to send it out because they didn't have the 14k solid pins I said no problem how much.He said total with tax was $138.40. and he wasn't charging for the appraisal because it's just recalculating on a new letterhead.My bracelet was done in a week as promised.I didn't recognize it ,it was so bright.Man it was dirty So I saved over $350 dollars on the repair alone and he included the appraisal.Thats why they got five stars because they treat people with respect,don't have people that work there who knows about jewelry.I wish they had zero stars because Family Jewlers doesn't even deserve one star.
