The staff is excellent and the reviews were good but the two dentists (brothers) do not exude caring at all. They might be good at their job but fortunately I did not have to experience it. Dr. Raed did a terrible job replacing one of my old crowns. He cut away some of my gum and the new crown doesn't fit right. There is a gap between the roof of my mouth and the top of the crown and I'm sensitive to hot and cold. I had a second opinion and was told my gum will not grow back and dentin is exposed. I now have to attempt a new crown, but have been told there is a risk of not enough tooth underneath to accomplish this. Which means a potential root canal or loss of a tooth. I am in my early 50s with no dental issues until this. I requested a refund, so I am not out of pocket again. Dr. Raed will only issue a refund if I sign a waiver. I believe people make mistakes. But I also believe you should do the right thing. Dr. Raed made a mistake. A big one. He should have refunded my money and hoped for the best. I am not signing away rights with the chance of losing a tooth due to his negligence. I strongly encourage you to find a different dentist. read more

Let me start by saying Dr. Raed is not your every day dentist. His confidence and dominance in the field is extraordinarily shown through his years of experience. I have been a patient for less than a year, and I would have never thought there could be someone as great as he is. I had a tooth pulled a couple months back. Now, don't get me wrong, he tried his darnest and earnest time to try and save it. When he drilled and cut it, it didn't seem right to him. He cut my gum and low and behold, I had a hole through the root and into my gum line. Most dentists would not have found this. He is devoted to his work and noticed that he has had fellowships and accomplishments plastered on his walls. I asked him about it and he is teaching new dental students locally. I am new to Davinci, but in the two visits I had thus far in my treatment plan, Dr Raed Ajlouni, and the whole staff treated me so courteously, and professionally. They pay attention to my needs, and provided flexible scheduling. I have insurance however they are also willing to work out easy payment plans. Their is a professional dental hygienist working full time at the clinic. Dr. Raed listens to me very well and explains the procedures in an easy to understand fashion. I have been going to this office for over 3 years now with my 2 girls and they have always been very helpful and easy to work with. With the way Insurance changes by the day, Dr. Kahl's staff has always gone out of their way to help my decipher the Insurance code so that everything is ready for us when we walk in. They have never been pushy in regards to procedures that we may or may not need so I feel like when they tell us something has to be done than it has to be done and is not something they are saying just to make a quick buck. What a refreshing change from the "big box" or the "you need 3 crowns" private practices. I've been taken advantage of by both. Dr Khal only does what needs to be done. He is the epitome honesty and professionalism. If you hate going to the dentist because the fear of pain, no worries here. This is a great little dental office in the heart of Southlake. They work with my insurance company, which I really appreciate since I am a working mom, thus taking something off my plate. In addition, they take great care me and my family and our dental needs. My son's sealants had fallen out (or whatever happens to old sealants) and they called my insurance company and checked on price before they suggested he have them replaced (it was free). In addition, they did a couple of baby tooth extractions on my daughter and we had a great experience. They called to check up on her and took great care of her in the office. Doctors Khal and Raed Ajilouni are the best dentists that I know. Recently, I was at a Junior level ice hockey game. One of the players was inadvertently struck in the mounth by another player's stick, knocking out one of his front teeth. I contacted the Dr.'s after hourse emergency number and they answered the phone from their residence at 10:00PM on a Saturday night. The Dr explained exactly what was needed to save the tooth, called in a prescription for the player and setup a Monday morning appointment to insure that the young man was recovering well. The Dr. also checked up on the player to further insure that his dental needs were met. My two children and I have been seeing Dr. Khal and Raed for 8 years now here in Texas. We have lived in two countries and 4 states here in the U.S. and with no uncertainty, I can say that these two Doctors and their practice as a whole are superior to any other dentist that we have used. My two children actually look forward to seeing them at Davinci Dentistry and their processes for teeth cleaning, fillings, crowns and all other dental work that we have had done at Davinci has exceeded our expectations. Dr. Khal is amazing! What a kind, caring, and smart man. I have been coming to him for about two years and have had such a nice experience. I had been to salesy offices in the past and was hesitant when looking for a new dentist. Dr. Khal is not salesy at all. He is focused on your best interest. He has even told me I don't need work done that I had asked about. I have a 10 month old son who was throwing toys and crying in the office and Cheyenne his assistant played with him while I had my teeth cleaned. Dr. Khal was so sweet and patient with me getting up several times to tend to him. I then had Dr. Khal check my son's teeth. He had several different tactics to help my baby get comfortable and open his mouth. He spent a lot of time playing with him to warm him up.
