I enjoyed my experience at this restaurant. I really appreciated how one of the "owner" came out and interacted with the guess. I have a few of my opinions and he accepted them which tells me he cares. The staff was very friendly and great. However, we found out from ear hustling that we were not offered other options that other guess were when it came to options that you could juggle with in the menu. The food was between ok and good. Superb !!! I grew up in New Jersey and have lived in South Florida for over 30 year and always said Jersey Italian restaurants are better rhan Florida's. Well I think I may have finally found a "Jersey Good" Italian restaurant down here: DaVinci's. Service was magnificent and the food was "oh Mama mia" !! Appetizers were Calamari and a Portobello stuffed with sausage and parma cheese, basket of bread with Olive Oil and "Olive Paste". Entre's were Cheese Ravioli, Black Pasts Arragosta, Chicken Parm w/Ziti, side of Sausage with tomatoe sauce, Napolitan style Pizza with Garlic, Sausage and get this: Potatoes. This restaurant is in a little outdoor mall by the movies. There are 4 or five restaurants near each other but this is by far the best! We were staying at the Hilton resort and walked across the street for dinner. You can sit outside or in. The wait staff was fun and had lots of personality. Our waitress was engaging and very attentive. The food- wow very authentic and yummy. Their bread basket was one of the best I've ever had in an Italian restaurant. Focaccia bread was amazing. Good olive oil on the table also. I was feeling pizza and wow was it good. Olives, pepperoni and a little spicy-yum. The crust was perfect. Always a must when we come to visit Naples!!! I dream of their coconut lime martini and I'm absolutely not exaggerating. The smoothest cocktail I've ever had. Tip: book in advance because the line is looong, but very worth the wait. The staff knows exactly what they are doing and make the experience that much better. We came here on fourth of July evening right before fireworks. Parking was non existent so I do not recommend doing that again but instead go on a non holiday evening :) As for the restaurant we had an awesome and friendly waiter Giovanni. It was fun to speak Italian with him! He gave us suggestions and tips on how to navigate off marco island to avoid the post fireworks traffic. Food: caesar salads (good), ravioli vodka (excellent) and scallops with lobster ravioli (excellent). The portions were just right and the raviolis were cooked perfectly al dente. Sauce was also done really well and not too heavy or salty. Dessert: profiteroles and apple crumble. Both were good, although huge and you will leave feeling stuffed unless you share these! read more

Christmas holiday - very busy on Marco Island. We had 9 pm dinner reservations tonight. We have been here 2 times before on vacation & love it. Busy season right now. We were SO impressed with the outstanding service. Within 15 seconds of being seated, we had water being poured. Within another 60 seconds the addictive warm bread & olive oil-olive tapenade was in front of us. DaVinci is very very fortunate to have Nellie as a server. She was genuinely welcoming, checked on us throughout the meal, verbally listed all the specials ( this is where I failed as a server!) and made our outstanding meal a perfect 10. Very reasonable prices, excellent pasta & Veal Parm. Super wine list & affordable as well. There is a reason they have been so successful for so long. Oh...we were too full for dessert but when you ask to see the dessert menu, you have already made the decision to order something though! Tiramisu. Very large portion & hit all the cravings!! My wife and I ate at DaVinci's last night. We had reservations at 5:30. We were seated immediately. Our waiter was Anthony. He was fairly new but was knowledgeable about the menu. We both ordered the chicken parmigiana. The portions were huge and absolutely fantastic. We asked to change the side dish we thought may be an up charge but he checked and there was none. He kept the water glasses full was attentive but not overly so. The meal was spread out from the drinks to the salad to the entree. Not hurried whatsoever. This is a restaurant you want to enjoy the experience. We took home enough for lunch the next day. Absolutely no room for dessert. It was a little on the noisy side but we had a wonderful dinner and we highly recommend Anthony for your waiter. read more

We spent some time in Marco Island for winter break and walked into what I called their restaurant row. It was popping!! Every restaurant was incredibly busy every evening. It was nice to see things getting a bit back to normal. We had great service at Da Vinci- we were seating promptly at our reservation time and were greeting as soon as we sat down. Our waiter was new to the establishment- he worked for Disney cruise lines for 5 years prior so he was great with our kids. Kept drawing pictures every-time he came by the table. The biggest upset was the food. It was far beyond disappointing. The only thing that was worth eating was the pizza. The rest of the food we didn't consume. read more

Wow! Is the least thing I can say here!! Food atmosphere service!!! The chicken piccata is one of the best that I have ever tried in my life hands down!! I came here with a friend and we were gonna get the same dish but decided to pick two different ones and share them. One of the dishes were the chicken piccata and other was the breaded chicken with pasta!! I have to say that chicken Piccata was better but food in general was delicious. Kaan was our server and this wonderful guy went above and beyond to provide outstanding customer service. Hands down the best service I i have gotten in my life! When we first got the chicken piccata, my friend and I both noticed it wasn't cooked properly so we brought it up to his attention and he was very apologetic. Took the plate and since the plate comes in two pieces, he brought one piece in first so we can try it to see if that's how we like it cooked! And then he out the other one and brought it. By then we were full so we boxed it!! The paste that came with it was something else!! AMAZING is not enough!! KAAN thank you for such a wonderful service!! First time on Marco Island and we chose Da Vinci's as our first meal. We were certainly glad we did! From the moment we walked in we felt so welcomed and cared for by the all the staff. We were seated at a table in the outside dining area. Received wonderful recommendations from our server. We started with the Calamari appetizer, which I would have to say is one of the best I've ever eaten. We share the absolutely delicious Pear & Gorgonzola pizza. We then each enjoyed a different pasta dish, all pleasantly please with our choices. Finally we wrapped up our dining experience by sharing a tiramisu...again, one of the best I've ever tasted! The entree's were Amazing! The Contina Di Manzo (short ribs with truffle gnocchi) was the best dish we ordered. Would go back for it for sure. The atmosphere is nice enough, prices we what you expect from a higher end tourist town. 4 stars not 5 because honestly the bread was the worst thing we had. I feel like that's so easy to do well, and it just wasn't good. Wrong type of bread, got hard very quickly and they serve it with an olive tapenade with EVOO. My son had the tiramisu for dessert and loved it. I had the apple crostata dessert. It was just ok, regretted not getting the cannoli instead. All in all very good place, but could use a couple of minor adjustments. I would go back! read more

We stopped here for dinner after a game of mini golf, everyone was hungry and extremely thirsty. The restaurant was already busy but we were sat quickly and water delivery was immediate! Our server was helpful and knowledgeable. The pasta was excellent! I tired a couple cocktails, both were excellent. Even though the restaurant was busy it was easy to talk to my family at the table without hearing all the conversation around us. Which made for great ambiance. Food is always very good. The last time we dined, we brought a guest with us who has celiac disease. Appreciate that they have some gluten-free options. It is very frustrating that the gluten-free bread that is offered is not warmed in a separate space. It really does not take much to have a separate small warming oven to warm gluten-free bread so it is safe for celiac guests. I am not sure restaurants realize what it means to have something as simple as gluten-free bread before a meal when most restaurants just ignore the dining experience of gluten free patrons. To go the extra small step of providing this as a safe option for celiac guest would mean so much. It is always such a letdown when gluten-free bread is offered but then you are told, oops it's actually not safe for you to have. Very frustrating. read more

Very good Italian meal at Da Vinci. Had doubts at first, as the host stand staff didn't greet us for a few minutes and seemed generally uninterested in their jobs, despite two of the four of them standing around doing nothing except ignoring customers. Things improved drastically once we were seated. We had an amazing meal and great service: shared the meatball as an appetizer (get the meatball!), house salad with added anchovies, pizza, zuppa di pesce. All were excellent. Fish and shellfish in the zuppa di pesce were fresh. The summer spritzer cocktail is a standout. Their limoncello was a bit sweet for me. This restaurant is LOUD! We were seated near the bar, and next time I'll ask to be seated in the bsck room because I struggled to hear our server and my dining companion. Otherwise, I might do takeout next time if they can't seat us in a less frenetic location. read more

Every bite I ate was delicious and the service was like nothing I've ever seen - so so kind and friendly and attentive - my water glass stayed full for the entire meal - constantly being refilled. Delicious bread, beers, fried green tomato special, best pasta e fagioli soup I've ever had, and fresh pasta. I had the tagliatelle Bolognese. Pasta was clearly homemade and fresh, and sauce was very good. Only complaint I had was that there wasn't much meat, but I think that's the way they make Bolognese in Italy. Amazing Italian food. We came here on a mission to try and order as much different menu items and get a taste of everything. We ordered the pizza calabrese with artichokes instead of olives for appetizer with our aperol spritzes. The pizza was so tasty, hot, and soft, and the aperol spritz was refreshing. We also shared the spaghetti con salsa Rosa (the favorite of the table), polla romana, and cernia Mediterraneo. All were delicious and very filling. We couldn't finish it all between the four of us, but the amount we ordered was just perfect. We didn't have time for dessert but definitely were regretful for not ordering some. The service was excellent and timely, and the atmosphere of this restaurant is always warm and inviting but elegant. Definitely my favorite restaurant I've tried on the island! read more

My husband and I were on our honeymoon down here for a couple days and we wanted to eat somewhere outside of our hotel. Me being Italian from NY with my grandparents all straight off the boat, I'm pretty picky when it comes to my Italian food. By our first encounter when we sat down I was already impressed. Our waiter Giovanni was AWESOME and I knew this place was legit because it had spiedini on the menu. I was SO excited because I live in FL now and you may only find this at legit Italian places in NY. Drinks: They had an awesome selection of drinks- I got Afternoon in Sicily which was refreshing & tart and my husband got the Old Fashion, which he said was good. Food: First, I had the house salad that came with dinner and my husband had a Caesar both were tasty and fresh. Appetizer: of course, we got the spiedini! It was absolutely delicious! My husband has never even heard of this dish and he was blown away. If you like bread, cheese and a flavorful, savory sauce- its a must! Dinner: I had chicken parm which was fantastic! The portion is as HUGE and the chicken was juicy, but also still crispy (which is a big deal). Overall, I was very impressed. My husband had the lasagna (not pictured), but it was also massive and yummy! I left this place very very impressed and I knew I had to leave a review! Another WIN for the Carvelli group! We absolutely will not miss out on their three higher end restaurants while in Marco. Davinci is a family favorite for certain! Their manager and co-owner Adamo Serravalle is a leading example of why the service is incredible from the top down. We are only in Marco 2-3 times a year so when we stopped in again last night to introduce our travel companions to our favorite Italian spot, he immediately recalled discussing Spider-Man with my son and showing both of my kids his trick to drawing fish. Multiple patrons addressed him by name and his attitude &energy is contagious. Having worked in the service industry for decades now, I was blown away by his level of service that is clearly expected down through every single staff member in the restaurant. Francesca was our server and we were shocked that it was only her 3rd day! We would have guessed she'd been there for years. Now onto the food! My favorite dish has been the Pollo Romano. Incredible flavors all join together to make a truly outstanding dish. This is also a dish that I could confidently order as Gluten-Free (and I believe was Keto compliant). My kids and husband adore the Gnocchi alla Sorrentina with a starter of the Pasta Fagioli (soup). Last night I tried the Penne Salsa Rosa (GF penne) which was delicious! I wish there had been more sun-dried tomatoes (I'm a sucker for them) but it was a great dish. My aunt ordered the Costina di Manzo (braised short ribs and gnocchi). It was SOOO good! My husband ordered the Risotto Porcini E Tartufo which was perfectly cooked with balanced savory flavors. We like to all try each other's dishes and when I had the braised short rib WITH the porcini/truffle risotto, I decided that I'd request this combination the next time we eat there (hopefully this week otherwise in May!). A lighter favorite of mine was the Mona Lisa salad with a side of blackened grouper. So light and refreshing, the flavors of the salad combined with the blackened grouper perfectly! The dessert is to DIE FOR so leave room for the profiterole, tiramisu or cannoli! I couldn't eat another bite but wished I'd have ordered the GF torte! The drinks were fantastic as well - the coconut lime martini is very sweet but delicious if you are ok with sweet drinks. The summer spritzer was less sugary and very refreshing. I've heard several times that we MUST try the espresso martini so that is on my list for next time as well! read more

Davinci's is a MUST in marco island! The food and service is AMAZING!!!!! The restaurant is beautiful and the servers are amazing never leaving you with an empty cup! We were in and out in an hour and ordered drinks, appetizers, salad, entrees, and dessert! All the food was perfectly cooked. The shrimp were huge in both pastas and all the pasta was homemade!
