It can sometimes be a struggle to find a dinner spot in the Naples area, especially during peak season without a reservation. Luckily I was able to call ahead and get a reserved table in the courtyard at Arturos Bistro. The restaurant is a bit hidden and tucked away, it was a little hard for us to find but it's inside an office building. The courtyard is in the middle of the building so it's not a great view or anything, but it was protected from wind and they had heaters on. It was also quiet and they had some Frank Sinatra playing, which added a bit to the ambiance. Our server, Jacob, was super friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu. We found out he is the owner's son and has worked almost all positions at the restaurant! He was helpful with suggestions and very polite. We started with an order of the calamari which was perfectly tender and seasoned well. For my entree, I got the grouper, island style: "Sautéed with lemon butter sauce & capers topped with blue crab with mashed potatoes & fresh vegetables." The fish was perfectly cooked and I loved the flavors. It's a delicate fish but it was seasoned well. My entree came with a side salad, which was fresh and dressed nicely. The portions were large, and I thought prices were reasonable and in line with the area. The menu is full of classic Italian options, including several veal dishes, which I thought was interesting (don't see that around much where I'm from). 8 of us went tonight. I had one of the specials; snapper piccata. $$$ but excellent. The scampi looked amazing and my friend said it was really good. Everyone enjoyed their meal....no complaints whatsoever. George was our server, even though he was extremely busy he was very attentive and efficient. Arturo's has a nice atmosphere, I like the white tablecloths. In SW FL everything is so casual so it's nice to have a few places that feel a bit more special. read more

Elegant and classy was my first impression as soon as I walked in. We are on vacation and followed my navigation to get here. We were driving around in circles until I finally called. We were right in front of the place however the recent Milton hurricane took the outside lights out. Incredible! I felt so bad but the manager actually saw my car and directed me right into the place. He said I wasn't the only one who was faced with this problem. Pablo was our waiter. He's fabulous and so sweet. He brought over their homemade bread which is warmed and crusty: out of this world. Then all the entrees include soup or salad. We both chose the delicious and hot Manhattan clam chowder. I totally enjoyed the Zuppa de Pece packed with clams, mussels, large shrimp and scallops and Calimari and salmon in a tomato sauce over linguini. Amazing dish! Paul had the rack of lamb With potatoes and mixed vegetables. He was enjoying every morsel. We absolutely had no room for dessert tonight but hope to try on a return trip. Pablo was telling us that this business is a family owned business for 35 years. It's multi generational. We arrived at our table with high hopes of another wonderful experience here. I have been taking my children and mom here for many years. We ordered and everything seemed great until we waited about an hour and 15 minutes just to get our brown, wilted, sad salads that were bathed in dressing. My wife's salad didn't have nuts on it as well! It said it would have a handful of Georgia picked pecans and yet no sight of them! Once we finished our salads, they finally turned the corner with our meals, about an 1:45 freaking minutes later than we ordered . Luckily my children and mom were happy with their food and I was as well. I got the spaghetti garden party! So many wonderful veggies! This is a plus! Food is always delicious. Service is also very good.. I was there tonight with my autistic son and the person that helps me with him, we had a delicious meal. My son sometimes makes noises.. but by all means it wasn't out of control. Diana the manager had said to us that somebody was complaining about my son making noises and they wanted to move their table.. which they did. We will also there are the night before to celebrate my son's 39th birthday. All staff was extraordinarily nice, but Diana then informed us that that night people were complaining and they were asking for their food to go.. I just want to say Diana was wonderful with us and I understand the situation that she's in. But to the people that were complaining about my son making noises I just want to tell them that they should be blessed if they do not have a disabled son or daughter or grandchild.. I appreciate Diana being up front with us. We enjoyed our meal and we are on our way.. the people that chose to move their table I would've loved to have gone up to them and said they should count their blessings if they don't have a disabled child. Charged me $30 for the cavatelli, $12 for one piece of sliced sausage, and $8 for a dollop of rabe. Same dish anywhere else $29.99. We tried this restaurant for the first time. Aside from the fact that their website is rather incomplete, we found the food to be good, fairly priced, and a decent value for the money. It's a bit off the beaten track, but thankfully the parking is ample and you don't have throngs of people trying to get in like some of the other more popular restaurants in the area. I would like to go back again and try some other items, especially after the seasonal crowds disappear. Perhaps by then, they will invest in a functional website so that you have a better idea of what to expect when you go. read more

My wife and I ate here during our January 2026 visit to Marco Island. We sat outside, which is really inside an indoor courtyard, which was quiet and to our liking. We arrived at our reservation time of 6 pm. After some delay my wife was served wine and our order was taken. We tried to be patient but we still had not even been served our salad 50 minutes later! I finally said something and the salad came out, and shortly after that, our meals. My wife had the lasagna. It was meaty but bland. I had the veal parmigiana. This was bland also. By the time our meals came, we were frustrated and did not enjoy them. Other customers were frustrated as well. The manager acknowledged the problem and offered to comp us a desert, but by then the experience was ruined. In sum, this was a great disappointment. We have been here in the past, and had been looking forward to a nice experience. So between the service and the food, things have gone downhill. read more

We have been to Arturo's a lot of times but last night was the last time for a long time. The spaghetti was watery the bread was hard But our biggest problem was the service. It was so slow. The new location offers seating inside and outside, and has plenty of parking (since all the offices in the building are closed by the time the restaurant opens...very smart). We ate outside on a somewhat cool night, but they had the umbrellas up and the heaters on, so it was comfy. Our server was fantastic, keeping things moving for our large group. We started with some wine and cocktails while we looked over the menu and considered the specials, which has a ton of Italian options. Half of us opted for the Grouper Island Style, and the others ordered other seafood specialties. I got the Shrimp Francese over Linguini, and loved it! Portions are nicely sized, which is appreciated given the entree range is between $30 - $45. But each entree comes with soup or house salad, and warm bread. We'll be back! read more

We were 6 on a Friday night during season and had a reservation. Parking lot is tight. We were seated promptly and service was great. I started with the tomato bisque which was good.l; not super creamy but great flavor. Next came the nights special stuffed pork chop with prosciutto and mozzarella in a marsala sauce. I substituted penne with the marsala sauce for the potatoes and veggies. Very filling. We were all too stuffed for dessert. I would definitely return to try other menu items. read more

It was our first time at Arturo's new location off Collier Blvd and Bald Eagle Drive. The new location is much larger and nicely decorated. It has a big bar area and plenty of seating. We started the evening with cocktails and the special carpaccio appetizer. Cocktails were perfectly prepared. The carpaccio was beautifully presented and very delicate and tasteful. Our mains included Arturo's famous pork chop and the scallop pasta. Both entrees were huge. The pasta was al denté, included a delicate balance of cream and truffle oil accompanied with delicate tender juicy scallops. The pork chop was delicious with a creamy Marsala mushroom sauce, mashed potatoes and tender beans. We completed our meal with a delicious Amaretto cheesecake. We would definitely recommend Arturo's for their quality food and great hospitality and service. read more

Came here December 30th, 2022 for dinner with my soon to be fiance. It's not easy to find a place on Marco island during their busiest time of the year, between Christmas and New Years. I was able to book a table here on yelp for 5:45. It is a very quant, nice place for a quiet dinner. It is fine dining. Service was good, food was very good. The server recommended the stuffed pork chop, he said it was large so we split it, it was excellent. Unfortunately, as our meal ended we were rushed out, and was not aware of a 90 minute limit. started with dining here 3 nights ago and having a good dinner but average service. Tonight we came back and were given the same table in a back room which is plain old AWFUL DINING AREA. We have never been treated so rudely by restaurant staff! A week ago, four of us had reservations for an early dinner. The restaurant was maybe 10% full, with plenty of tables. Unfortunately we were brought to a non -standard oblong booth that is located at the entrance of the main dining area, bordering the walkway - really, should not even be a seating area. When we asked for a different table - there are plenty empty at this time - we were told we should've requested a specific table. This being our first visit, we had no idea - OpenTable reservations only ask for bar, outdoors, or standard indoor preferences. When we informed them, we could not sit there, as our guests were hard of hearing, and seating would never work for us to enjoy dinner, and that we would have to leave, the young female, hostess told us we were welcome to leave. when we implored the older female, hostess at the check-in podium to help us with another table - again the restaurant was only 10% seated - she looked at the seating chart and told us it would be too much trouble to make any changes. It got ugly with the hostesses raising their voices at us, blaming us for not asking for a special table. Needless to say we will never be back and sadly I have to add that the restaurant couldn't care less. Reading other reviews I see that this particular table top has been an issue for other diners also. It's sad that there is so much business during season that Arturo treats would be customers so rudely! read more

On our recent trip to Marco Island Wifey and I wanted to start the week off with a nice dinner and we were in the mood for some Italian. Yeas, being from NJ this could be a disappointing choice, but we read good things about Arturo's so we took a chance. We didn't have a reservation and the place was pretty packed so we took one of the outside tables. It was probably a little cool for the Florida folks, but it was warm enough for us. We started with a couple glasses of wine - Luis Martini Cabernet - (gave us kind of a short pour) which was nice and some delicious bread. Our salads were good, light and fresh without too much dressing. For our meals we ordered sautéed spinach (cooked in garlic and ail) as a side. Wifey got the Grouper Island Style - grouper topped with blue crab and made with lemon butter sauce and capers...it came with mashed potatoes and veggies on the side. I had the Tuscan shrimp and scallops with mashed potatoes and veggies (yellow squash, zucchini and carrots) in an amazing sauce with lemon, wine, butter and slivered almonds. We were both very impressed with the meal and our server, Valentin, was very attentive even though we were his only outside table. We decided against an appetizer, but I wasn't sure our meals would fill us up...I was wrong. We've been very lucky in our travels to find good Italian food outside of the NJ/NY area and Arturo's was a place we'd easily return to if back in the area. This is in response to the owner's comments on our review. The hostess never said a word. You approached our table with an attitude, and accusing us of not having a real service dog, telling us anyone can go online to get a certificate. When my wife offered you the certification for her service animal, you knew you couldn't do anything about it by law so you turned around and walked away like a angry child. Luckily, you can't decide who or why someone is eligible for a service dog! You shouldn't be working in the hospitality industry if you cannot speak to customers with respect. You went out of your way to be disrespectful and rude. The server, who was in the middle of taking our order, was so embarrassed, he apologized to my wife multiple times for the way you behaved. You should consider changing your attitude and then maybe you wouldn't have an empty restaurant!! Arturo's Bistro was the only reservation I could get on Open Table, you ever think your the reason there's so much availability? Every other restaurant in the area was filled to capacity. We went to Island cafe for dinner. The inside was not so large, but not too small. They didn't have tables on top of each other as they do in NYC, so it was roomy and comfortable. Their dinner entrée items comes with a house salad or soup of the day. We could upgrade the soup and salad with additional fee. We upgraded one soup to French Onion Soup for $1 extra. The cheese was nice and gooey! The bread cubes in the soup was thick and tough... We also ordered one appetizer item to share. We chose Truffle & Porcini Mushroom & Goat Cheese Ravioli. They forgot to bring the garlic bread that comes with it, and we didn't notice... It is always important to read the menu carefully! For the main, I went with Pappardelle Pasta. It didn't really have much of truffle aroma or flavor. The scallops that was nice and plump. It had more mushroom than anything. Not as good as I expected. My hubby went with Creole Jambalaya. Even though the quantity of each seafood items were not that many, but all combined together, they had plenty. The sauce had a nice kick to it. This one was quite tasty! I liked it better than my pasta for sure. At our table, we also had Chicken Piccatta, and Twin Tournedos Grille. The chicken was delicious, they do sauce really well here. The steak was cooked just as requested and tasty. Our server, Aaron was very nice, friendly and polite, knowledgeable and attentive. The food was mostly good, other than the pasta dish... After several ho-hum meals in and around Marco Island, is almost resigned myself to lowered expectations...then we ate at Island Cafe. This small gem located on busy Collier blvd is easy to overlook but it is well worth seeking out. We had a group of six and an early 5:45 seating. The place isn't too big so it was full on a Tuesday night by the time we left. Service is leisurely and sadly they "failed" my service test of keeping water glasses full, although the old school blue goblets perhaps made it difficult to know when more water was needed. Inside the decor is elegant but not stuffy with comfy chairs and a bright and airy color pallet. As for the food, it was a breath of fresh air when compared to the marginal spots that seem to predominate the island. Entrees have a European flair with French flourishes on the fish and chicken. Among our favorites were the delicious lamb chopped Cooke perfectly, the pecan crusted salmon and the nightly fish special, a red snapper sautéed with a buerre blanc sauce. Also good was the pork tenderloin. Entrees come with soup or salad (the romaine "wedge" was nice as was the carrot soup. Wine list is just ok with limited selection.
