Unitrans dropped off on Mace Boulevard at Ikeda's and one could walk to just behind it to find parking lot with bus stops. As there was a parking lot, one could also drive a car there and leave it. There is no security there and the area was desolate before the Target went in nearby so watch out. Or drive a beater and leave it unlocked. Yolobus also makes a stop there and the 42B line was the one to take to go to Sac. The 42A line was the same route in reverse so I took that to return to the car/bus. Fares were included with UCD fees just like Unitrans. It's yet another parking lot...this time with a purpose other than parking for vendors. It's parking for transportation elsewhere. Really no other reason to stop here unless you've parked here or are taking public transit to somewhere else. That was and is the point of this lot. To go elsewhere. From the Mace Blvd Park and Ride.

I then found out about the Park and Ride in Mace where I can conveniently take the Yolobus to get to work. The bus stop is right out front so I don't have to walk far to and fro. And since I'm a UC Davis student, I just have to show my Aggie card to ride the bus for free. I usually arrive in the lot by 7:30 and there are still plenty of spots. Note that I did read the first and only review here and had initial doubts. But so far, if you work a day job, your car should be fine. I'm guessing it gets more risky if your leave your car for extended periods of time. The lot is public and very open access anyway. Other than that, I'm happy since I don't have to pay to park there plus getting to Sac through Yolobus for me is free and fast.

The guy mentioned about 10 minutes to get to West Village, and he showed up right on time. Was your ordinary type of taxi, no fancy bells and whistles of an Uber Black, but it did the trick. The driver took a fast route and made some small conversation. Definitely pricier than an Uber or Lyft, but I would recommend it if you can't find a ride... beats waiting for a bus!

Worst service ever. I am in a wheelchair and was visiting UC Davis for a conference. This company…read morewas recommended by a local hotel and I set up an appointment time. I was picked up, wheelchair was loaded into the cab and we left. Suddenly as we were arriving towards my destination, the driver is called by his "new manager." The "manager" instructs him to pull over three blocks from my destination and load me and my wheelchair into another vehicle. Reason? The current driver had to make his way to another call-but I was still his passenger. His manager demanded it and we pulled over. The "manager" loaded me up in his car, putting the folded wheelchair in the trunk. He drove me three blocks and charged me "about $5." Later that day, I called the company again for a pickup going back to the hotel. I called at 1:45pm at first, letting them know where I would be for the pickup. The dispatch told me that he could not pick me up BC the company was not "wheelchair accessible" and could not dispatch anyone. Confused , I called back at 2pm asking for another ride only this time making sure to specify that the wheelchair could fold up and that I did not need a ramp. Again, the driver told me that he would not dispatch a cab for me even though they had already picked me up that same day. I asked someone else to call for me from a different number and asked them Not to mention the wheelchair and the cab company agreed and gave an era of 10 minutes....I waited in the hot sun, in a chair by the road, for one full hour. Nobody called. Nobody came. I relayed this information to the supervisors of the conference and they called the cab company to inform them that it was not fair to strand someone in this way, saying "you got her here, now you have to take her back." ( At this time, all other cab companies were busy and a few even said that they were also " not handicap accessible"). The cab companies dispatcher agreed that there was confusion and agreed, after being sternly told off, that they could "send someone over immediately" (3 pm). I waited one hour, nobody came. Very disappointing. I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau about this matter.
