My…read morehusband had two prescriptions dropped off, and when I returned an hour later to pick them up through the drive-thru, only one was provided. At no point did anyone notify us that the second medication was not in stock. This is basic communication that could have saved time and frustration. The drive-thru itself is consistently understaffed -- one person managing three lanes and serving one car at a time, creating long, unnecessary delays. After discovering the missing prescription, I called the pharmacy and left a message but never received a return call. The automated phone system is excessive and forces customers to leave voicemails instead of speaking directly with a person. I left a second message the following morning and still did not receive a response, so I contacted the front store and asked for a manager. The manager was understanding and involved the pharmacist, who called my husband shortly after. Unfortunately, the pharmacist's apology was insincere, and the call ended abruptly. Minutes later, I received another call from someone else at the pharmacy who, instead of clarifying or apologizing, was rude and dismissive -- even shouting across the pharmacy asking who had just spoken to me. When I remarked on how chaotic the situation seemed, she told me they "wouldn't be talked to like that" and hung up. This level of unprofessionalism and poor communication is unacceptable, especially for a pharmacy responsible for people's health and medications. CVS needs to address the lack of staffing, improve their communication with customers, and retrain pharmacy staff on basic courtesy and accountability.

Which is exactly what happened last year in our town. The small business owner told me that it was happening and that they wouldn't make it because of CVS. He was heartbroken as it was his family's business. They are gone. Now, for the recent experience at the WEATHERFORD CVS ON MAIN STREET....I have been trying to pick up a topical Rx from CVS for a week now. The lines are SO long and the staff is so inept and they always have an excuse for why they can't do anything within a reasonable amount of time. Finally I made it back up there a third time. I was in the drive thru and after they serviced the car in front of me, they literally pulled the blinds down as I pulled up and a recording came on that they were closed for lunch. There were 3 cars behind me and 2 in the other lane. That is unbelievable. You don't CLOSE a pharmacy for lunch, you idiots, you COVER people so they can go to lunch. Every other business does it every single day, but CVS is incapable of basic business sense. I will never had another Rx sent there.

Walgreens on South Main in Weatherford has a problem in the pharmacy.
